Chapter 2

Viral Valley

Veemon awoke to the sounds birds echoing thru the cave. As he opened his eyes he saw the fire had burned down to embers and the Gazimon was nowhere to be seen. As he tried to stretch his sore mussels and found himself still tied, the memory of the events of last night came back to him.

The Gazimon just sat and stared until Veemon cooled down, at which point he came back over and sat next to him again and gave him a small smile. "Feel better?"

Veemon just grumbled as Gazimon pressed a small strawberry to his lips. "Here eat this, it'll help"

Sighing Veemon took a small bite and deciding he liked it ate the rest. To his surprise he did feel a little bit better.

Gazimon gave a soft smile and put a comforting arm around the blue rookies shoulder, and to Veemon's surprise said "I'm sorry, what I should've said was that it wont be so bad"

Veemon snorted, and then sighed again, "Look what do you want from us?"

"I told you, you and your human are going to join my pack." the Gazimon said still smiling.

"Yes but what douse that mean?" Veemon sighed.

"Well its like this" the Gazimon began. "We Gazimon have many things going for us we're fast, we're strong, we're somewhat loyal... but we do have one, not so much a flaw but a nuisance, if you'll forgive my being blunt.'

"Will you just spit it out!?" Veemon snapped.

"We're horny." the Gazimon said wile ignoring the look Veemon gave him.

"Generally in our pack we have the omega, who is for all intents and purposes the clan whore, mind you it's not at all a dishonorable position"

Veemon snorted and the Gazimon looked at him.

"It's true, our pack wouldn't be able to function without an omega."

Veemon tried to stretch his sore muscles again and failed. "Then why don't one of you do it and just leave us alone?!" Veemon snapped.

The Gazimon shrugged. "Generally that is what we do, but the problem with that is it leaves us short handed, and we have far to much work to do keeping the peace in this valley to be a man down."

'Keep the peace!?' Veemon thought bitterly. 'Ya right.' but he didn't say this. He did let out a wine as his muscles started to cramp up.

Seeing the blue rookie pained look and increased struggles, he said. "If you want I'll cut those ropes and let you move around?"

This surprised Veemon and he thought. 'He's offering to cut me loose? What's his game?'

Veemon cautiously nods his head and to his surprise felt the ropes fall away.

After standing and stretching, Veemon looks to see the Gazimon has his back to him as he digs in the food sack.

Seeing his chance Veemon backs out of the cave and starts running toward the river he can see in the distance.

In the cave the Gazimon sighs as he walks to the entrance. "Why do they always try to run?" he sighs again and begins to slowly walk towards the river.

Veemon having reached the river begins to follow it upstream and is soon able to find where he and Davis were ambushed, looking back into the Valley he could see the path the other Gazimon must have taken Davis down, but he knew he wouldn't be able to save him alone. So he raced up towards the valley entrance he and Davis had used yesterday

"It's just around this next bend." Veemon panted as made the turn and came to a sudden stop, shocked at what he saw or rather what he didn't see. "It can't be! I know this was where we came in!" Veemon exclaimed as he put a hand against the sheer mountainside that use to be a large pass and fell to his knees.

"It's no use kid" the Gazimon called from behind as he casually walked toward him. "This is Viral Valley, that path is the only way in or out and only a virus type can open it."

Veemon stiffened with surprise when the Gazimon placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. "The fact of the matter is kid you can't escape, so your only choice is to submit or be beaten into submission."

Veemon roughly pushed the Gazimon aside.

"Vee head-butt!"

Veemon charged forward but was surprised when the Gazimon casually side stepped the attack and as Veemon sailed past.

"Electric stun blast!"

The attack caught Veemon in the side and sending him into a nearby bolder.

"It won't work kid. There are a lot of things working against you in this situation." Gazimon said as he again effortlessly dodged another attack. Veemon charged agin and the Gazimon continued to speak as he began to lazily evade Veemon's increasingly desperate attacks.

"First I'm older and therefore more experienced then you."

Veemon tried to head-butt him again but this time Gazimon just dodged and let his opponent crash into the side of the cliff.

"Second, for the last several years you've been relying on digi-volution to win all your fights, and I haven't which means in our rookie forms I am stronger." To demonstrate this Gazimon caught Veemon's fists and wrenched the blue rookies arms behind his back, pinning him.

"And lastly this is Viral Valley, in this place Viruses types get a power boost, add all this together and you're screwed." Gazimon smirked as his opponent's energy ran out and he stopped struggling.

Veemon was surprised when the Gazimon released his hold and let him sit up.

"So you have a choice my friend." the Gazimon began. "You can't escape and even if you could the only thing that would accomplish is to reveal the fact your alive to the ones who want you dead." Gazimon held up a paw to silence the lizard's defense of his friends. "So excepting that you and your human will be omega. Your choice is simple, you can run and I'll hunt you down and mate you hard and fast, it WILL hurt, or you can cooperate and we'll find a comfy spot and I'll take you slowly and you'll get as much out of it as I will." the Gazimon put a hand on Veemon's shoulder, "so which will it be?"

Veemon didn't know what to do, he knew he couldn't fight the virus and win, maybe he could run but what the Gazimon said worried him.

'Maybe...' Veemon thought. 'Maybe I should just go with it.'

"I'll cooperate..." Veemon said uncertainly.

The Gazimon gave a gentle smile as he helped Veemon up and led him to the center of a nearby meadow.

Gazimon wrapped his arms around Veemon's middle, holding him close and speaks directly into his ear.

"Ok, just relax." the Gazimon says in a low whisper.

Veemon can feel the virus's warm breath on his neck and hear the Gazimon's strong, soothing voice and feels himself beginning to calm.

The Demidevimon turned and regarded the newcomer suspiciously "Eh? What do you want?"

"I need your help." Veemon began. "Is it true that the passage out of this valley can only be opened by a virus?"

"Maybe..." said Demidevimon evasively.

"Please if its true will you open it for me?" Veemon gasped, he so did not have time for this.

The Demidevimon sneered and began to slowly fly around Veemon's head. "I could but what's in it for me?"

Veemon sighed. "Whatever you want please I don't have time."

The Demidevimon stops in front of Veemon's face and asks. "What's the rush? Are you running from someone?"

Veemon looked over his shoulder at the sound of a twig snap, but didn't see anything. "Yes there's a Gazimon after me, now will you help me?"

"Sure buddy always happy to help." The Demidevimon said with a grin. Veemon let out a relieved breath, but then a groan when the Demidevimon said, "After you've paid my price."

"Whatever you want just please hurry." Veemon grumbled.

"Ok!" The Demidevimon began with a smile. "Because you're in such a hurry I'll make it simple, I'll help you in exchange for one blow-job!"

As he began to move away the Demidevimon flew up to near the top of a tree and called to the blue rookie. "If that's how you feel then ok, but just so you know I can see the Gazimon that's chasing you he's not far away."
