    ||Vampires' Legend||:: Chapter One:: Unusual Execution   The sound of the prison's hall door squealing open was what woke the young Krayven from his dream. He shook himself of his grogginess and got into a sitting position within his dark, wretched cell. He growled slightly; he knew it was time for feeding. By his internal clock, the young vampire could tell that it had been nearly three weeks since his last feeding. Yet, every part of him felt like he hadn't been fed in months, years even. He growled again, more firm as he heard the jingling of keys and the halting screech of his heavily armored cell door being hauled open by the burly, unforgiving guards. He scowled, somewhat to the effect of a near evil grin, and pulled on his chains.   The chains were made of Admuidinum, a near impossibly heavy element, cruelly crafted by the cruel race of dragons to hold the vampire. He had chains fastened to his waist, arms, legs, and ankles. Though the links were nearly small as any common chain or rope, they were each weighing a sheer thirty pounds each. Quite understandably, they kept Krayven in his seat in his pitifully small cell. "Feeding time, once more?"   he growled, then hissed, mouth wide open, fangs bared at the sight of the pitiful catch brought his way; He saw the newer prisoner, eyes wild with absolute terror, and scowled once more. "Bringing in nothing but mere street rats, I suppose?" The dragon guard growled; "Only for a street rat like yourself, number 0477651. Enjoy your dinner."   Krayven growled and pulled on his short chains again. He got up, the metal suit that kept him nearly immobile screeching their cacophonic melody. He slowly gaited over to the prisoner, the heavy chains and suit keeping him slow and awkward. The suit was made out of heavy cast-iron, so it wasn't impossible to move, but it was tight fitting and very restricting. He grunted and panted as he made his way over there, the heavy joints resisting his every movement.   He made it to the wide eyed prisoner and a guard removed the vampire's heavy muzzle. "One of these days, I will tear your throat out as I tear the trash you send me."   One of the guards merely chuckled malevolently and said; "I'd like to see you try that, '651. I'd love to see you try that."   Krayven growled, then his eyes flashed blue after he blinked and he roared as he grabbed the prisoner, grabbing him straight up into the air. He held him there while the prisoner screamed and struggled, pleading for his life. The guards took out earmuffs and put them inside their ears. They knew what was coming next.   But Krayven was deaf to his attempts, and he merely hummed a calming melody while his blazing eyes flashed an icy blue. The prisoner's struggles gradually turned into mildly spastic shudders and groans. Then, Krayven lowered the prisoner to him and sank his fangs into the prisoner. The "calming melody" that Krayven had created was truly a wonder. It calmed humans and dragons, and even some other lesser minded vampires. It brought them face to face with death, and respectively, peace. The dragon prisoner only groaned as he was drank from, and within minutes, he was dead, minutes more, and he was drained. Krayven then turned around and looked at the full moon and roared at it, blazing blue eyes glaring, and black blood dripping from his mouth and down the cast iron suit.
