"Reed, where are you going to?" Asked Isabel, to Reed as he packed his suitcase up.
Reed turns to the brunette human female with a slim build and blue eyes with small breasts. "I am going to a meeting in New York city. I got to get this account for my company, from a Chinese firm. Isabel sat on the couch stewing. "I guess my plan is the only way to get his money." She goes to the phone and dials a number. Isabel talks on it for a minute and hangs up.
Reed talks on his cell phone. "Don't issue her any large sums. Just give the weekly amount of we agreed on, plus set the limit to twenty five hundred on the card. I think she's up to something. Don't worry Mimi, she can't get at it, you're lawyers will make sure of that. I got to go to my meeting, we'll cut her off if she's does something bad, love you to big sis." He shuts his cell phone and get's in his car.
Flying J truck stop Idaho Organ border.
Reed goes into the station while an anthro male fox fills his fuel tank. "The anthro beings have been here for twenty years. They are a few centuries ahead of us in technology and some prefer to do the simple jobs." He thought to himself as he walks in the station. Reed bought a few snack items for the trip to Boise Idaho. "Who's that?" he asked the red head teenage boy.
"That's the loner, she's a fox vixen. She's an albino, that's why she covers herself up and wears dark glasses. She can't stand the sunlight. I seen her eyes once, they're a pale gray. She seems nice, but like I said she prefers being by herself. From what I seen, she's got a nice body on her." The clerk grins as Reed paid his bill and walks out.
The covered figure is talking to the male fox who was pumping fuel in his car. He watched the conversation between the two, and then the vixen walks off. Reed walked up to the fox. "What's her story?"
The fox looks at Reed with a sad look. "She has the most depressing story I ever known. Her parents dumped her at a foster home when she was nine months old. That's the weaning age of foxes. She grew up with few friends and staying in the shadows. That poor vixen can't feel the sun on her coat or it will hurt her. She has to wear dark glasses because sunlight or bright light will hurt her eyes. Her place of employment is a security outfit. She's a night security guard."
Reed gets in his car and drives off. He waves to the vixen walking down the street as his car goes on the freeway. She waves back at him. A large SUV follows the smaller car on the freeway.
East on I-84 five miles east of Ontario
Reed sets the cruise control on his Honda Civic. He adjusts himself on his seat and looks ahead. He saw the large SUV catch up to him. "What's this guy's problem?" Reeds answer came as the larger vehicle starts ramming the smaller car. He tries to accelerate the car, but one of the impacts did something to the car. The inertia switch to the fuel pump trips, shutting off the fuel to the engine. The switch trips in case of a wreck to stop the fuel to stop the chances of a fire. Reeds car dies as its force off the road. It goes down an embankment and hit's a tree.
The larger vehicle turns around and heads to the scene. A large guy leaves the vehicle and walks down the embankment. He opens the driver's door to rummage thru Reeds pockets. Reed resists, the guy starts beating Reed. He with draws a knife and stabs Reed twice, then a gloved hand grabs the hand. There's the sound of bones breaking as the wrist bones are broken. He screams, but he's silenced by an elbow to the jaw. A gloved hand touches a point on the guys head, then there's an angry muttering.
The tall figure picks up the knife and slashes the tires on the SUV. She walks back down to the wreck. "You piece of crap, why pick on someone smaller than you?" The figure muttered to herself. She looks around and sees' Reeds airline tickets and day planner. "I know this outfit; I guard the place at night." The covered figure wearing dark glasses uses Reeds cell phone for minute. "Well Reed, your boss is an understanding guy; he's sending his back up in your place. From what I saw this was no accident. You're in bad shape; I normally don't pick up strange guys. But you seem to want to get to know me." She picks up Reed, in an instant she is gone with Reed.
An apartment in Ontario
Reed wakes up on a bed; he looks at his surroundings'. He's in a darken room with dim lighting. Reed smells like an antiseptic scent in the air. He than notices the points of pain on his body and yells. "You're awake, you been out for six hours Reed." Said a female voice.
A fox vixen walks in the room. Reed saw that she's six feet tall and built like an Amazon. She has a muscular build and a 40 E breast size. Reed noted her white colored body fur. She looks like the fox vixens he saw since the anthros landed on Earth twenty years ago. The anthros' home world got scorched when a huge solar flare that hit the planet. Only four million made it off the planet. She is completely white in color; the ears and the tip of the tail are black. The white head hair stops at her shoulder blades. She has a nice looking muzzle with a pink colored nose. The vixen is looking at him wearing dark glasses. "If your wondering, my names Kathryn. You were forced off the road. I found a large guy beating you up. I knocked him out and carried you back here."
Reed nodded looking at the tall vixen who's wearing a type of vest laced in the front. She's also wearing a pair of shorts. Reed looked at the vest that's laced in front and looked at the large breasts that are contained by a thin piece of string. "You knocked out a large human male?"
Kathryn smiled. "Yes I did, I am a night security guard. Your assailant had a piece of paper with a name on it saying Isabel and a phone number." She hands him a piece of paper.
Reed reads it and starts crying. "I can't believe she did this. I got to get a hold of my boss and sister."
"Mimi?" Asked Kathryn.
Reed nodded with tears streaming down his face.
Kathryn climbs on the bed hugging him. "You rest now, I know your boss. I got a feeling that the numbers are in your day planner. I'll make the calls, you just rest. I don't want you pulling on your stitches." She hugs him tighter.
Reed face is pressed on a large white cleavage with a thick tuff of hair over it. To him it felt great. "Yes you're correct; the numbers are in that day planner. Tell my sister to cut funds to Isabel, and then talk to my boss so he can send the back up." He falls asleep as a hand rubs the back of his head.
Kathryn lays Reeds head back on the pillow. "No problem Reed, I got the next few days off. I am going to check out this Isabel." She gives him a kiss, looks at him with a sad look. "Some humans are just as bad as anthros' Reed." She mutters to herself looking at the bandaged human male. Kathryn picks up Reeds' cell phone and calls Mimi.
Bank at Ontario Organ next day.
"What do you mean no funds available?" Yelled Isabel looking at the brown hair woman with a name tag reading Mimi. "I normally get funds put in on this day. Oh never mind, I'll take $500.00 out of this card." She hands the card to Mimi.
Mimi takes the card and runs it. The machine beeps; she shakes her head looking at the readout. Mimi puts the card in an envelope and seals it. "Sorry maam, this card is no good. I was ordered to confiscate it."
Isabel screams and stomps out of the bank. Mimi smiles at the woman leaving. "Have a nice day, please come again." She looks her walking in front of the building. "You little bitch." Mimi mutters to herself.
"That she is, Mimi." Said a voice.
Mimi looks at a tall figure wearing clothing all over. She noticed this new customer is an anthro being by the long muzzle and white colored tail. This customer is wearing dark sunglasses. She hands Mimi a card and puts on her protective clothing and glasses.
"Thanks' for helping him." Replied Mimi as the tall vixen leaves. Kathryn nods while leaving the bank.
Reeds apartment at Ontario Organ.
Isabel is putting some items in a box. She mutters to herself as she stuffs in some expensive items. There's a knock at the door. Isabel goes to answer the door. "Jerome what took you so long to........." She stops at mid sentence when she sees the tall figure dressed in concealing clothing. "Who are you?"
The figure walks in removing the protecting clothing and dark glasses. "Reeds new friend Isabel." Said Kathryn looking at Isabel. "May I ask who Jerome is?" Asked the tall white colored vixen.
Isabel looked at the tall muscular vixen with pale gray eyes and well endowed. She looked at the brown colored vest laced in front. "My brother." Lied Isabel grabbing a stature of a shelf.
"If you want to leave this place walking, I suggest that you put that back. Nice place, I don't see any resemblance between you and Jerome." Replied Kathryn never taking her eyes off of Isabel. "Oh, Isabel please put that back on the shelf. Trust me, you don't want me to remove a weapon, ask Jerome. Right now he's in the hospital handcuffed to the bed frame. "He won a big sum of money. Instead of quitting that stupid job, he stayed employed. He can live a comfortable life at another country instead of this crappy city in this messed up country. Where is my boyfriend Reed?" Asked Isabel looking at the tall white vixen.
Kathryn looked at Isabel with a smile. "Would you like to know? He's at my place, safe from your reach. I grown fond of him, years of living by myself kind of makes a gal lonely. The desk sergeant knew who it is, her friend Kathryn. She felt sorry for the albino vixen. Kathryn tried to join the police, but due to her being an albino she couldn't. The wolf smiled at Kathryn. "How are you doing Kathryn?" As she walked up to the desk.
"Just great Layla." Kathryn said with a grin.
"Kathryn, you know that we have to question Reed about what happen to him." Said Layla looking at the vixen.
"No problem, how about setting it up to have a couple of officers to go to my place. I don't want any of the stitches getting pulled. By the way, here are some photos of the injuries inflicted on him." Kathryn hands the stack of photos to Layla. "I hope you didn't have a big breakfast, if so don't look."
Layla looked at the photos, noting the long cuts on the torso area and bruised face. "Why do humans do this to each other?"
"Greed, the girlfriend wanted his wealth. He won a large sum of money, but he still stayed employed. She wanted him to move to another country, but he refused." Replied Kathryn, noting that Layla was writing something down.
"I guess it's going to be a long time before he sees another female." Said Layla, she heard a snicker from Kathryn. "Kathryn, the arresting officers said the girlfriend was knocked out."
"She attacked me. After she invited me in." Said Kathryn.
"Noted, are you pressing charges against her?" Asked Layla.
"Yes, I would normally let something like this slide. After what she did to Reed I making an exception on her." Replied Kathryn with a snarl.
"You like him don't you?" Replied Layla seeing a surprised look on her friend. "I noticed Kathryn, you're friendlier. You're not acting shy while mentioning Reed. I noticed that you're protecting him from Isabel. Police training, we read the body language on people who are talking to us. Kathryn, I think Reed will be the best thing to happen to you. Humans are pretty good lovers, I am married to one. For now act like friends around us till the case is closed. We got a confession from Jerome, we have a strong case."
The precinct captain a male cougar walks up. Kathryn switches the subject. "I am here in regard of Reed H. Cruise in getting a restraining order against Isabel in case she makes bail." She noted the smile on the wolf as she got a stack of papers.
"No problem, I don't think she's going to make bail. None of her relatives want to help her." Replied Layla handing Kathryn the papers as the cougar walks by. "Take it easy friend. I'll send a couple of officers at two o'clock this afternoon to your place."
Three months later Organ state prison
"Prisoner Isabel you have a visitor." Said a female human guard. Isabel sighed and followed her to the visitor's center. She was convicted of contracting a hit man and assaulting a security guard. The sentence she got totaled to thirty years. Jerome did a plead deal, to testify against her and only gotten eight. Isabel glared at her visitor whose wearing dark sun glasses.
"Hello Isabel, I just want to check up on you. Reed's company did get that contract, plus he got a nice bonus to go with it. Such a shame you have no patience and caused yourself to be in your current situation." Said Kathryn with a smile.
"I still think he should have left this country and lived in Mexico. I don't know why he insists on working." replied Isabel.
"Isabel, it's hard to live in Mexico. Caucasian men like Reed need to have water shipped to them. If he tried to drink the water there it would have made him very sick. Plus there's too much sun there." Kathryn Said.
"Yeah, I know about you. You're an albino; you can't have the sun on you without causing you pain. I don't know what my boyfriend sees in you if you can't wear a bikini." Replied Isabel.
Kathryn takes off her protective jacket and fondles her breasts. "These are what he sees in me. Plus now he's my husband." She shows Isabel a silver ring on her finger. She waves at Isabel and walks to the door of the visitor's area. Isabel watches as Kathryn talks to a guard for a minute and leaves.
Isabel is escorted to her cell. The female lynx guard laughs at Isabel. "You sure blew it with that human Reed. From what I heard from Kathryn, he gives good oral. Plus, she told me he knows how to treat a female. I am glad Kathryn found somebody to treat her with kindness; she deserves that nice guy Reed. Kathryn had a rough upbringing; it's nice to see her friendly and kind. To bad for you." Isabel is put in her cell.
"Just remember, I am watching you." Said Kathryn sitting on the cot in the cell.
"What the hell?" Isabel said in surprise, looking at Kathryn.
"One of my talents, yes Reed knows about it. Saves money on trips to Hawaii. Don't scream about this Isabel, nobody will believe you. I may be a security guard, but the police will believe me over you any day. Good bye again." Kathryn vanishes in thin air.
Isabel sits on the cot in her cell and cries.
