Mincridarn?

Chapter 4

When I entered my room I went straight for the right side of my room wear my training hall was that mother and I used. When I entered I walked along the three plexiglass windows, which I thought were overly large as they nearly touch floor and the ceiling and continued to a large wardrobe in the very center of the back wall. This wardrobe was containing a special set of clothing my mom had asked to be specially made for me. When I opened up the wardrobe and stared over my modern battle suit.

My modern battle suit was a formal black and white suit and tie that used at is used at funerals. But even though it looked so normal the fibers that created the clothing was a special prototype version of high dense fire proof Kevlar fibers. These special fibers gave the clothing a look of normality, because it's extremely thin fibers made it look like it was a normal suit and tie. So removing my clothing except my same Kevlar fiber gloves and scarf and started to put on the battle suit.

But I stopped at the at top shirt and pulled a six gun and duel knife black leather gun vest and strapped it on and placed on the over shirt and continued in to the closet. And I pulled out a large brown Kevlar thrench coat that went all the way to the back of my feet. This coat made out of the same Kevlar fibers and put it on. So after that was put on I removed two formal shoes but like my outfit these shoes are different also. As they were titanium steel toed shoes, with the middle of the sole of shoe completely titanium except for a gap at the hinge of the foot so I could move so I didn't have to stop every were I went.

Once completed with putting on the shoe I started to arm myself with my large collection of knives. And when I said I armed myself I meant it as almost every part of my clothing other than my gloves and the shoes held a dagger or throwing knives so grabbing two large daggers with blade length of 8-inches and slide them into the slots at the back of the gun vest and continued. Grabbing and loading the trench coats 15 knife slots on either side of the inside of the trench coat. Then grabbing four semi large daggers I slide them in to special slots in the sleeve and buttoned them into place so they wouldn't fall out of place and did the same thing with the other sleeve. Once that was done I pulled out two anklets that contained 5 daggers in each one and buckled up my leg underneath the bottom of my pants and put them on. Then looking back into the closet and found two last daggers both somewhat small, I took the first one and inserted it into a slot in my neck tie. I then took the other one and removed my scarf and slid the dagger into a special slot in my scarf and put the scarf back on.

Once that was done I grabbed my guns and started to put them in their slots the first ones I grabbed was the two desert eagles and put them in the holsters right under my armpits and strapped them in after that. I grabbed a special tranq pistol and put it in the holster on the front side of my body on the left side. Then remembering my darts I dug into the wardrobe and pulled out two pouches containing darts and locked them into place on the back of the gun vest near the daggers on the back. Completing the task I went to back to my gun loading and load my three police grade standard issue pistol into place.

Now finishing that up, I put two spare clips for both of my guns and stuffed them into my trench coats pocket and pulled out a back pack and a katana. But this wasn't at all a normal sword as it was a family heirloom and on the sheath a golden panther covering both sides of the sheath near the top and the same panther was imbedded into the both side of the golden painted hilt. Putting the backpack on my back I unsheathed the katana and examined the beautiful silver blade with the symbol of the Black Panther on the top of the blade. After staring at the symbol going back to the memories of my mother training me caused me to sigh in anguish, as I wanted to go back to the days when we fought together.

I sheathed it and put in holster on the outside of the right side of the back pack. I walked out of the room, closing the wardrobe and the room doors behind me.

And walked into the bathroom grabbing a med kit and placed it in my back pack and continued out of my room and walked over to my closet and started to put a week of clothes in to the back pack. After that I walked out of my room, only standing in the room for a couple minutes knowing I wasn't going to be for some time and left for the downstairs.

When I came downstairs I found everyone talking to each other. The bunny was talking to Zane and the other two talking to each other when I came downstairs and into view and said" So I'm done are you guys ready to go?"

Once I said this the bunny spoke up saying" Yeah." and with that he turned around and walked towards the door and pulled it open and walked out into the drive way. And with that the bird and the girl walked after him and I followed out into the sun light.

When we left the drive way. The bunny took a left and went into the forest and through the most of it we were quiet. Until we came to small circler opening, with bushes surrounding the opening and small flowers growing along holes in the cobble stone ground which I found a little weird. But went with it hearing sighs and a very large feeling of calmness washed off the others. So because of that I continued and didn't really question anything until the bunny walked forward tearing something away from his throat and started to walk towards a crumbling stone arch way in the center of the small opening of the forest. Which being an idiot I didn't realize until he walked towards it.

"So what are you doing bunny?'' And just as I said this the bunny froze and started to whimper as if he was about to cry. This had caused the girl to come forward and say" Pleassse don't cry." Then looking over at me she said" Apologize to Kirin your going to make him cry."

Confused I said "Wait who's Kirin?" and with that the bunny broke down to the ground and started to cry. Once this happened the girl face palm herself and said" Prince Jered the bunny'ssss name isss Prince Kirin he'ssss your younger brother."

"And who are you two." I said pointing at the bird and the girl.

then speaking up she continued" you really don't remember anything do you Prince Jered?"

"I guess so.? What do I need to remember?"

"Maybe your own family how about that." she said a little more aggressively.

"And who else would be considered family?"

"How about your brother and your sister that stands before you." said the bird said in a way that showed dominance but in another way submission almost like if he wasn't sure if he wanted to test me?

"Now going back to my question who are you two?"

"My name is Ssssandra the bird boysss name isss prince Derrick." said Sandra pointing at the bird boy after she said her own name.

"Now apologize to your younger brother." she said showing some dominance in her voice.

So doing as I was told I went over to the bunny on the ground on his hands and knees crying his eyes out. Squatting in front of the bunny I placed my hand on his shoulder and said" Kirin I'm sorry for not remembering your name please-." And just like that Kirin threw his arms around me causing me to fall back on my butt and hear him crying to in to my shirt and he just stayed there for awhile before saying" Big brother I've missed you so much. When you left I was so alone. Please don't leave me ever again."

Wrapping my arms around him I said softly not wanting to hurt his ears" I promise little brother I will always be there for you no matter where I am I will be there for you Kirin."

Then removing him from my body He said "Now how about we get back home dad wants to see you again."

"Kirin, how are we going to get home?" I said as looked around the ruins in order to find something but finding nothing other than the ruined cobble stone floor and the crumbling arch way.

Then sitting on his legs he opened up his hand showing me a key engraved with the insignia I saw on the armor of Mr. Malrin's armor. He then said "this key is different as it allows us to get back to are world, cool huh?"

"But Kirin, how does it work?"

"When placed inside an archway or doorway it opens the doors to are world." And with that he got up and walked towards the archway when he was a foot away from it Kirin pushed the key into the arch way and once that happened a large burst of light shot out the archway and only seconds after that, the light disappeared and reveled two wooden oak doors the size and shape of the archway open up reveling a white inner door way. And just like that Kirin took a deep breath and walked straight through it and disappeared in to the white. Once Kirin was no longer visible Derrick walked over to me and pulled me from my butt and on to my feet and pulled me through the door.

When I came through the portal behind Derrick I found myself no longer any the forest but with a dark cave with the light of this world's sun shinnying threw the entrance." where are we Kirin?"

We are within the nightmare forest in are homeland we are in Cadara Jered. We are finale home." After that Sandra came through the gateway and the light disappeared and the key reformed from the dissipating light. Once the key was complete it fell to the ground in the same stone archway we just came from. Sandra then bent over the newly reformed key and bent over and picked up the key and handed it to Kirin."Don't lose this Kirin." then bending back up she continued to the entrance of the cave and took a sharp left and disappeared from sight.

And just like that we followed after her. When I came out of the cave the light burned my eyes causing me to squint until my eyes were able to adjust to the bright light and when I did. I found myself stare out of an entrance to a cave in a tall mountain surrounded by a lush green forest. That continued until I came to a halt and suddenly disappeared and showed the great blue sparkling ocean beyond dotted with ships. I never wanted to move but my gaze was torn away as Kirin pulled my hand so that I looked at his upper chest. This caused me to grow angry as I didn't like to be forced to do things but when I looked up into the snow white face of the bunny, that had a glowing smile. Seeing his smile caused all my hatred to instantly disappear and calmness take its place and just like that Kirin pulled at my hand and pulled me to left causing us to walk on a very small goat path along the edge of the mountain. Until we came to a cliff edge. With Derrick and Sandra waiting for us to arrive. And when we did the most unexpected thing happened. Derrick grabbed Sandra's and ran towards the edge of the cliff with Sandra not far behind and jumped of the cliff edge and disappeared.

It took a while but he finale came back up to the cliff edge and grabbed his hand and Kirin did the same thing disappearing over the edge. Then when Derrick finale came back up to the cliff edge. Derrick walked up to me and grabbed my hand and started to pull my hand but putting up a slight resistance which Derrick noticed he said" Jered there nothing to be scared of I won't drop you know come along your wasting the time of day."

I slightly walked over to the edge of the cliff and looked down then back up seeing that it was nearly a mile drop caused me to shake a little. I wasn't scared of heights as I loved to go combat parachuting with my mother. I was just scared that that Derrick would drop me as I didn't know If he could support my weight and I just didn't know if I could trust him. But no longer wanting to wait Derricks saw my head was somewhere else wrapped his arms around and leaned over the cliff face and we started to plummet to the ground. Feeling the sudden wind come up my back as I was under Derricks I wrapped my arms around his torso and watched as his wings came out slowly catching the wind slowing is descent. Then when they came completely out He gave them a couple of flaps and closed the distance between us and the ground and released me allowing me to move.

And just like that Kirin came from up behind me and said" Jered you looked so funny holding on to Derricks for your dear life." Hearing this caused me to let go of Derrick and turn around and yell at him and nail him in the chest if Sandra hadn't come between us and gave me a hug saying "O, it's so good to see you again I missssssed you ssso much I just didn't know how to approach you about it." Yeah she may of said that but I knew why she really did it but listening to it caused me to throw my anger out the window then I felt her grip tighten slightly and I began to hear a soft hiss emanate from Sandra and she said" Jered your ssso warm." And once I heard that I started to remove her arms around me knowing that she wouldn't want to let go like most girls I hugged, and like I thought when I grabbed Her arms trying to force her off of me but she kept them into place and tightened her grip. But after a while of struggling I finale got her off of me and she just started to whimper softly. Which for her was odd because she hissed every time she did it to.

"Now that you're off of me, where are we going next Sandra?" I said trying to get her to stop whimpering.

"We need to go to the sssea port Lamane and gather ssssome ssssupplies."

"Well let's get going then. Derrick could you find us a fast path out of here." And just like that Derrick launched into the sky and came down minutes later saying" follow me we are not that far from the trade route." and just like that we followed Derrick in to the forest.

It had been awhile since we started to walk and Derrick Kept up on his efforts to make sure that we were going through the forest properly. But growing bored of the quiet I said to Sandra which was holding my arm the entire time feeling its warmth "Sandra what are you?"

And without even blinking she said "I'm a snake mincridarn."

"Mincridarn?" I said questioning the word because I never heard it before.

"Yeah you pronounce it like Min-cre-dar-in but you sssspell it like M-I-N-C-R-I-D-A-R-N." she said teaching me how to pronounce the word properly.

"Ok. So what is a mincridarn?"

"A mincridarn is animal that takessss on a human form allowing usss to walk on to legsss and sssspeak like a human, Kirin is a complete mincridarn. While me and Derrick are incomplete mincridarinssss."

"What's an incomplete mincridarn?"

'An incomplete mincridarn is an animal that takessss on animal human form. while we sssstill have animal characteristicssss like I hisssss and derrick hasss wingssss and bird legsss there are a very large range of incomplete mincridarinssss. Jered when you are talking to group of mincridarins you remove the n and add INS."

After that was said I let her hang on my arm because I really didn't have a choice in the matter and followed pondering over possible combinations.

Then as if knowing what I was thinking Sandra said" Jered Mincridarinssss only take after one animal not both sides so you will only find a mincridarn taking after one side of the family but if there is a human involved in the mix the possibility of having a complete mincridarn is most unlikely as you most likely have and incomplete Mincridarn child."

So because of the new information I continued to think on the people I could see and I don't know why I say people but it just felt wrong to call them animals. It had been not a little longer that we came to the trade route. And after that it was smooth sailing along the road side.

After "thoughts"

Derrick:"Jacob Why don't you ever give me any lines when you write?"

Author:"Becuase I haven't really found a need for you to talk.''

Derrick" Do you even need me in your book?"

Author" No not really. I guess and since your in it already I can't really remove you from it."

Derrick: hearing this felt like Stone cold stone was thrown straight through my chest hitting my heart. Feeling unneeded I left the room on the verge of crying.

Author" Come on Derrick. Stop being such hatchling." I said calling out to him.

Derrick" I'm not a chick, I'm a big bird!" I said yelling from down the hall just starting to cry.

Author" I highy concur." I said calling back out to the bird. After that I heard the door slam to his room.

Jered: hearing all the ruckus I went to Jacob's room and said from his door way" What did you do this time Jacob?"

Author" The bird is just upset I haven't really given him any lines."

Jered" Well so far I could agree with him I barely even hear his voice it's normally just Kirin and Sandra."

Author" Well what do you want me to do about it Jered?"

Jered" How about trying to give him more lines for a start and good apology would do well too."

Author: Then takeing a deep breath I said looking over a Jered in the door way" I'll see what I can do Jered in the next chapter. but don't tell him becuase I don't want him to flip If I'm unable to."

Jered" Thank you Jacob. I'll expect you to pull threw, your a very imaginative kid. Don't worry I won't tell him." I said smiling at him to comfort Jacob.

Author "Thank you Jered." And with that jered walked back to his room and closed the door.

Author"Great no pressure. Gosh peer pressure sucks when it's from your own main character."
