Chapter 34: The Wedding Video

By: Mirron Tenshi

Once I removed the bubble wrap, I smiled and picked up the object. "It's our Wedding Video!" Max smiled as he then sat up.

"Ooh! Pop it in! Pop it in!" I chuckled as I took opened up the disk's jacket.

"Wow. There's Blu-Ray in here too." We both laughed excitedly as I took the DVD next to the Blu-Ray.

"That has to be Nathan's doing - He's my cousin, a serious tech guy if I ever knew one. You know, the black tiger with the white stripes?" I looked at him curiously.

"Him? He said his name was Neku." Max laughed while I put the DVD into the player in the cabinet next to the flat screen.

"Yeah, he's lived in Japan way before Mom, Dad, and Ryan moved up to Japan." Max's family was born in America, but his grandparents, or Baa-Kun and Jii-Kun, moved to Kyoto, Japan soon after WWII. In fact, they're the ones who established the Golden Lotus. When Max was 18 and off to college, John and Lucy decided to take Max's grandparents on their offer to run the Lotus when they are to retire, leaving for Japan, and Ryan followed a few years after, getting a little sick and tired of his life in America. As of now, Baa-Kun and Jii-Kun are not yet retired, but John and Lucy are co-owning with them, with a couple of other Max's family members living with them. Neku (or as it were, Nathan) is extremely close with the technology of Japan.

When the disk was loading, I hopped into bed with my husband. He laid on his front at the end of the bed, and I laid right up to him, putting my right arm over his back.

A ball of light zoomed around on the picture, and then whizzed and bounced and curved as it spelled out "Allen's & Max's" and then the orb exploded right below the two names in a flurry of white and gold and silver sparkles, trickling off the new word, "WEDDING".

As some enduring music played, it started with a picture of Allen as a kitten in blue trunks at the beach. A picture of Max just as young was about to kick a soccer ball.

A picture of a preteen lion in a white karate outfit and a blue-belt, kicking up with a taller, older panda bear blocking the kick with a studying look on his face. Then a picture of a preteen tiger painting with black paint, seemingly attempting Chinese calligraphy, but just made several large sloppy kanji, 4-5 of the same characters painted in no order on the paper.

Next was a picture of a black-maned with dark blue streaks lion with some silver earrings, wearing baggy, black cargo pants and black cargo shirt with a neutral look in his eyes was tending black Morning Glories outside of a public greenhouse. A picture of a soaking wet young adult tiger was sitting at a bench, his arms crossed with a grouchy and unamused look on his face as he was slouched forward, with a laughing younger feline sitting right next to him at what looked like the bleachers at a SeaWorld.

Then there was a photo of a lion in a chef jacket and black pants, his mane half black down with the upper half of his mane its natural tan-brown, smiling as he held a fresh pizza with a large, wooden spatula in the kitchen of a gourmet kitchen. After, there was a picture of a tiger with a thick, brown apron with a green, button up shit and jeans, as well as goggles, pushing a wood plank along a table with a buzzsaw.

And then there was a picture of a lion with his arms around a tiger from behind, holding onto him as he was carried playfully on the tiger's back. The image faded into the picture of a young, golden yellow lion cub curled up in a ball, with an orange and black tiger cub laying ontop of him, both sleep. Then, shiny, cursive lettering spelled out, "Was it fate?"

The screen then faded to the face of a black tiger with white facial stripes. He was speaking in Japanese, but there were subtitles at the bottom of the screen.

"(Testing . . . Testing . . . Alright. I am Vincent Neku, and I am here to grant the sneak of peaks to see how the Max-San handles his wedding fears.)"

The camera was then diverted from the feline, and pixilated to peaking into another room.

Max was in his black tuxedo. He looked frantic as he paced around in the room, with his father and brother in there with him, trying to calm him down. "Dammit! This is wrong! How could I do this?! What the hell is wrong with me?!"

"(Oh? I wonder what's gotten Max-San so frightened.)"

"Max, it's ok!" Ryan said, "You-"

"How could it be ok?!" Max exclaimed, "Ryan, I freaking forgot the vows! Don't you get it?! Allen's going to be so embarrassed-"

"Max, calm down," John said, "Just say what you think is right."

"How?! I'm not good under pressure! I-I-I'm not good at stuff like that! I can't let him down on-" The door's hinges made a noise, attracting attention from the three tigers.

"Hm?" The white tiger looked and approached him, ". . . Neku? Nan desu yo?"

"Shimata(Shoot!)" The camera was then diverted from the room. Followed by more hushed Japanese, "(I've been spotted! Please hope for my escape!)"

The screen then pixilated to Neku's face once again.

"(Well, Max-San is doing fine. Lets get a look on Allen-Kun.)"

The camera was then taken away from the black tiger, and peered into the white tuxed lion. Another lion with a red-brown mane was taking to him.

"Please, Allen. Let me walk you down the aisle!"

"(I believe that's . . . Yes, I believe Allen has a brother. Max had told me about him, how he hated Allen-Kun for being gay . . . Though I don't get it. If he hates him so, why does he want to walk Allen-Kun down the Wedding Aisle? Could it be that he doesn't hate him after all?)"

Then, the older lion brother hugged, talking in a low tone.

"(Awwwww, that doesn't look like a sibling who has a hater to me.)"

Then, a taller, bigger lion with glasses in a black tuxedo came in.

"(Ah, I know him. He is Allen-Kun's father.)"

The older lion patted the younger brother on the head before the father and groom were alone. Before long, the lion was frantic, revealing that he too has forgotten the vows.

"(Both grooms written no vows?! How will they manage??)"

The image phased to the very colorful chapel room, where rainbow silk veils were draped around the walls and beams of the room, with the sides of the benches adorned with a certain arranged bunch of colored flowers placed on the edges.

The view gracefully phased to different positions as the ceremony happened, after the lion groom was walked by his father to the altar with the cheetah judge and the other groom.

At the end of the ceremony, the view of the camera shown right up to the lion and tiger edging their muzzles close before lightly kissing each other's lips. The two nuzzled lovingly as a couple of purrs were heard.

Ryan's comical speech happened thereafter. First, introducing himself, and then mentioning the wedding's theme; and then giving Mr & Mrs Kunder the acknowledgement for the beautiful wedding. Then his banterful complaint how the wedding didn't have alcohol. He then mentioned Allen's brother, saying how this wedding was for two grooms, yet there was just one Best Man. When Jordan was picked out from the crowd, he was prompted to come up, and say a little tribute for Allen and Max. He came up, introduced himself, and then said that he felt that he doesn't deserve to be a Best Man because of his past behavior towards his brother. After Ryan had came on to him, Jordan retreated back to his table, stating that he was 'cool' with homosexuals, not 'hot' for them. Ryan concluded his speech by assuring Allen of Max's loyalty to him, saying that he couldn't get his little brother away from him when they were young, in jest.

After the speech, it was time for the two grooms to dance together for the first time as husbands. They had chosen, 'I Knew I Loved You' by Savage Garden as their wedding some, a slow and romantic tune that sung of implied destiny, knowable fate, and falling in love. After the dance, Allen and Max held the cake knife together and cut the cake. Soon after, they fed each other a piece of the decorated cake, with Allen successfully making the slice to the tiger's mouth, but Max accidentally smearing some frosting onto Allen's nose.

Neku took the camera over to the table where Stan and Eve were sitting. Before anything, there was the same shiny lettering writing into view,

~Allen's Parents: Stanley & Evelyn Sander~

"Hallo. Please say something for Allen-Kun tou Max-Kun." Though Neku was born in America, he's lived in Japan long enough to forget proper English lingual etiquette, as well as pronouncing some words.

The lion and lioness smiled, "Hi, Allen! Hi Max! So how'd I do??" Eve asked as she laughed happily, "Don't worry, Ryan's not using MY plans for Marti Gras." Stan chuckled at that.

"Honey, I don't think they really mind."

"Pft, I do!" The lion smirked and cupped the side of his muzzle as he leaned into the camera.

"It's an artist-thing, trust me." Eve snickered before she brought Stan's arm down.

"I will tell you one thing, I'm not doing the planning for any divorce now!"

"Evie, there IS no such thing as a 'Divorce Planner'." Eve seemed a little drunk; Allen was just kidding when he said there wasn't any champagne during his speech.

"THAT'S what YOU think!" Then she looked at the cam seriously, "Don't you leave my boy now, Maxie." She then smiled and giggled a little more.

Stan chuckled before he wrapped his arm around his wife, "Here's my words of wisdom, kids: The key to a happy marriage is love, patience, tolerance, and a frisky partner."

The view of the camera then swirled out and back in, showing John and Lucy at their table. Neku spoke Japanese to Max's family, knowing that he could go ahead and speak as he usually does.

~Max's Parents: John & Lucy Vincent~

"(Uncle-San! Aunt-San! Please mention your thoughts for the Groom and Groom)" The two tigers smiled as they turned to the camera.

"Personally," John began "I'm glad this turned out alright. I was afraid Lucy would take another month to ask if Max if he's just bi-curious about again." The female white tiger scoffed and swatted her laughing husband.

"John! It was NOT a month."

"Oh yes, NOW I remember! It was a month and a half." Neku laughed behind the camera as Lucy got onto her husband for it.

"Congratulations, both of you, but now, I have a man and 're-educate' his concept of time." She said while pulling on John's ear.

"Ah! Gomenasai! Gomenasai!"

~Allen's Sister: Haley Evans & Matron of Honor~

~Haley's Husband: Cody Evans~

The camera had came to the pregnant lioness and bear for a few words. Haley smirked before saying. "I give it 2 weeks." While she held up two fingers. She laughed before she continued, "Nah, nah, but seriously. Allen, it was awesome when you turned out to be gay; made you worth tolerating." Cody scoffed and laughed with her.

"Haley, c'mon. On his wedding?"

"Hey, he's my brother, I GET to dis him."

"Psch, whatever." Cody said as he kissed her cheek. "You guys, it congrats, and though Haley won't say it-"

"Yes I will, keep your underbritches on, honey." Haley interrupted, with her attitude as brash as ever. "Really, Allen, you're my awesome gay brother, and Max, I love you too, baby. So you better be nice. That said, Allen, if Max turns out to be a bitch, I'll get'em for you. Kay, kid?"

~Max's Brother & Best Man: Ryan ~

"Alrighty. Allen, Max, I wish you both the best. Allen, be sure to take care of my little brother, ok? Yeah, he's a clingy little runt, by was MY clingy little brat," He said with a smile, "But throw out the leash, cause like I said, he loves a good time." He took a drink, and winced, "Bleh . . . And have some champagne next time! I generally don't care for appl-"

"What's goin' on?" Ashley said as she came up next to Ryan.

"Nuthin, just saying lil' something for the Grooms."

"Oh, ok! But you DID know that there IS champagne here, right?" Ryan blinked.

"Wait, Allen said there wasn't."

"Yeah there is. There's a bottle over there." She said as she pointed.

"Wha? Alle-" First he started at the camera, but then whirled around to locate the lion. "Allen!" He said as he walked off. The black cat then smiled and waved at the camera.

"Hi Alleeen!! Hi Maaax!! Congrats, both of you! Glad I was able to help! Lemme know how your honeymoon goes, kay??!"

~Allen's Brother: Jordan Sander~

The lion stood awkwardly as Neku came to him with the camera, "U-Um . . . I wish you both the best, and Allen, I'm sorry to keep saying this, but again, I'm sorry about how I was in the past. I'm really happy for you. A-And Max too." Jordan seemed nervous and unsure about what to say. "I um . . . Is that it, or do I . . . Damn, I'm so bad at this . . ."

The image then distorted to Allen and Max in another dance. Max was behind Allen, grinding behind him as his arms was draped around his lion and resting his head on his shoulder. The tiger muttered to Allen's ear, but it what he said was inaudible - even so, the smile forming on the lion's muzzle gives a pretty good hint on what he said. Allen turned his head, pressed his lips against the other's. Time stopped, and the tiger and lion's heads was then framed in a heart, with the outside of the heart going red. Two more shining words were written right below the heart shape.

~CONGRATULATIONS Allen & Max~

#@#@#

Me and Max giggled from time to time. It was a great video. My tiger snuggled me, kissing my cheek as he nuzzled me. I turned in bed, and hugged him close. "I love you, Max." He purred deeply as we cuddled. "So . . . You like a good time, huh?" My husband giggled a little.

"Always." I smiled as his paws roamed my fur.

"And what would you say WOULD be a good time." I then blushed when I felt a paw start to rub my balls.

"Oh, I can think of one."

"Hehehe, you're such a perv."
