The Corner Store, Chapter One: Night Shift

M/M, Fox, Dragon, Pawing

Marc leaned on the counter, absentmindedly flicking a claw over a small crack in the case covering the lottery tickets, as he glanced around the empty convenience store--the magazine shelf on the wall to the right, the coffee and drink machines next to them, the food and drink coolers lining the wall across from him, and the logo- and sign-covered glass windows filling the wall to the left. And, of course, small shelves stocked with overpriced food and candy.

The light in the far corner flicked and dimmed, and the fox sighed, hoping the light didn't die until after his shift, so some other poor fur had to search through the back room for the fluorescent lights.

He glanced over his shoulder at the clock on the wall--1:43 AM, still over three hours until his shift ended...and about forty minutes past when he was supposed to start mopping the floor. He sighed, walked over to the right wall of the store, and opened the cramped janitorial closet, sliding out the mop and wheeled bucket.

Thankfully, he was interrupted by the jingle of the bell over the door, and he shoved the bucket and mop back inside, shut the door, and returned back to behind the counter, putting on a forced smile for the customer.

Standing in the entrance was a lithe, short dragon that Marc had seen in the store a few times before, usually during the evening, and with friends.

The dragon pulled a list out of the pocket of his grey sweater, clutching it in a paw covered in lime-green scales, with the odd darker emerald-green patch. He glanced around the store, before heading to the drink coolers and pulling out a couple two-litre bottles of coke and a six-pack of some energy drink.

All the while, Marc watched him, the fox's smile growing less forced and more genuine by the second. Even though he'd only ever seen the dragon in the store, Marc knew the green-scaled reptile was his type...physically, at least.

The red fox shook his head. How could he feel this way? He should have been well above pointless stupid crushes; he was twenty-six, not twelve. But still, he couldn't help feeling a smile on his face and a stirring in his fuzzy sheath whenever he saw the dragon come in. And he couldn't help but hope that one day he'd see the dragon when there were no other customers...

He bit his tongue to try and drag himself back to reality, as he watched the dragon pull bags of chips off the shelf. Even if the dragon was gay, he probably wouldn't be interested in the fox--judging by the darkening scales, the dragon was eighteen or nineteen, maybe twenty, and why would he want to go out with someone seven or eight years older?

"Um...excuse me?"

Marc flinched, as he realized the dragon was at the counter, in front of him, holding half a dozen bags of chips and a multitude of drinks, and still clutching his list.

"Uh...yeah, how may I help you? I mean...is that everything?" the fox blushed, silently chastising himself for being such an idiot.

"Yeah..." the dragon set everything down and pulled out his wallet.

Marc started scanning everything. "Someone's hungry..." he let out a small, nervous chuckle.

"No, my roommates wanted some stuff, and I offered to run to the store..."

Marc nodded. "You a student at the college, I take it?"

"Yes--um, no...well, kinda," the dragon glanced away, and seemed to blush slightly, "I start in October, but decided to move down a few months early, to try and get a job and stuff..."

The fox nodded again, as he pulled out a few bags and started shoving in the dragon's purchases. "What are you studying?"

"Well...I kinda wanna be a doctor...I like helping people, I guess," the dragon blushed deeper.

"Oh? Guess you're smart, then?" as soon as he said this he kicked the back of the counter in frustration, and prayed that the dragon wouldn't think he was a complete idiot.

"Hey, Marc?"

The fox froze. "You...you know my name?"

The dragon smiled and laughed as he pointed out the fox's nametag, making Marc feel slightly less stupid about his mistake.

The fox gulped, and tried his best not to blush. "Um...what's your name?"

The dragon chuckled as he pulled a debit card out of his wallet to pay for the snacks. "It's Nathan."

Marc nodded, and pushed the card scanner towards the dragon. "Nice name,"

"I guess so," the dragon slid in his card and put in his pin, but hesitated before picking up his bags. "Um...is there a washroom here?"

"Yeah, but it's not supposed to be for customers..." Marc thought for a few brief seconds, "...but I guess it'd be alright...here, lemme show you where it is," Marc pulled a set of keys from his pocket and circled around the counter, leading the dragon to one of the doors crowded together in the corner of the store. He unlocked it and pushed it open, before turning to the dragon. "Here, just try not to be too long in case another custom--" the fox was cut off by the dragon grabbing him by the front of the shirt and pulling him in, before leaning up and kissing him.

The dragon immediately pulled away. "Oh, god...fuck...I'm sorry..." he blushed and backed away, "I'm really, really sorry...I...I just see you in here sometimes and I...nevermind...sorry..."

Nathan turned and started to dash away, and Marc quickly reached out and grabbed the dragon's wrist. "Wait! Don't go...it's alright..." he gently pulled the dragon back, and Nathan came, turning to face him again.

"I've seen you come in here sometimes, and I think I--well, I can't really say anything cuz I can't say I love you when I barely even...oh, fuck it," He pulled the dragon close and kissed him, then slid a hand into the washroom to turn the light on, and dragged Nathan inside.

"Why he--"

"Nobody can see," the fox purred softly, and slid a paw under the dragon's sweater, sliding up the reptile's back, as the lithe dragon rumbled softly in his arms, kissing back. Marc slid his paws down and then grabbed the zipper on the front of Nathan's sweater, pulling it down, and then stripping the garment off the dragon. To his pleasant surprise, the dragon wasn't wearing a shirt underneath, and Marc now had a nice view of the light scales covering Nathan's belly and chest, and the wings folded behind him.

Next, he rubbed a paw against the dragon's crotch, feeling a large bulge and drawing a lustful growl from Nathan. With practiced movement, he undid the dragon's pants and slid them down, leaving the dragon clad only in a pair of boxers. Next, he tore off his own blue shirt and jeans, and then grabbed the dragon's paw and pulled it to his crotch, allowing Nathan to feel the warm, hard meat within his underwear.

Nathan pulled back, however. "S-sorry...I've just never done this before...I'm not sure if I'm ready to, y'know...fuck...especially when we've barely met..."

Marc smiled and let go of the dragon's paw. "It's fine...can I at least paw you?"

The dragon blushed adorably, and nodded slowly. And with that, Marc slid down the dragon's underwear to his knees, revealing a deep-green-scaled sheath holding a half-hard light-purple cock, ridged and veined beautifully like most draconic cocks; and underneath, a pair of large balls.

Marc pressed the dragon against the wall, wrapped his paw around the dragon's length, and slowly started stroking, Nathan whimpering every time the fox's dark pawpads rubbing near the tip. Soon, the dragon was leaking pre, and Marc used the natural lubrication to help him stroke the dragon faster, with Nathan soon whimpering and squirming.

"Oh, god..." the dragon moaned as he started humping up, "Marc, I'm...I'm..."

With a loud growl, the dragon came, firing his hot load into the air, where most of it splattered onto his own belly and thighs, and the rest on the fox's paw and arm. As he came down from it, panting heavily, he stared into Marc's eyes. "That was..."

They both heard the sound of the bell over the door.

"Fuck!" Marc hissed under his breath, rushing to pull his pants up and pull his shirt on, pausing only to wipe the cum off his paw using toilet paper, and opened the door, closing it before the dragon could follow. "Wait here until the customer's gone," he whispered through the door, then he turned to the front of the store to see...

"Oh, fuck," he mumbled, as he recognized his ex--a large wolf, with black-and-grey fur--standing at the counter, looking impatient.

"Hey, Marcus," he said, "I was hoping I'd see you here...there's something I wanted to talk to you about..."
