The New Race and the New Arrivals

Chapter three

Just as I fainted I woke up in Zane's room next to Zane in his bed, and like always he was nearly half way off the bed and snoring loudly. And it always surprised me that I could sleep through his snoring. But getting annoyed by it I looked at the digital clock on the bed side table and on it the numbers I absolutely hated 7:05 in the morning. So seeing the time I snuck out of the bed and out the room and into mine.

Once in my room I walked over to my bathroom and started to remove my clothing and stepped into the warm shower and started to lather on the soap only rinsing off all the soap on my body once I was done, and step out of the shower. Then being out of the shower I dried of my long black hair and my body, before wrapping the towel around my body and walk out of the bathroom and over to my dresser. And grabbing a simple white shirt and jeans with a new hair band I put my hair back into a ponytail. After this was done I walked back into the bathroom and picked up my gloves and scarf and put them on in the proper places.

Hearing a rumble in my stomach I figured that it was about the time I got something to eat. So I walked down stairs and into the kitchen. Walking over to a cabinet I pulled out a bowl and placed it on the counter under the cabinet before continuing down the row of cabinets, and open up the cabinet and pull out a box of captain crunch and poured some into my bowl and placing on the counter just in case if Zane wanted any when he came downstairs. This did take long because just as I started to eat, he came into the kitchen rubbing his right eye and yawning. And whenever Zane did this It always made me laugh because he looked like a little kid every time he did this. But with saying anything he walked over to the box cereal and grabbed a bowl and poured some cereal into and walked over to the table after he grabbed a spoon out of the drawer, and sat down at the table and started to eat.

and throughout that hole time we had nearly had eaten if Zane hadn't broken the silence with" Hey Jered I'm going to leave after this so I can pick up the rest of my stuff so I can be here with you."

"Ok. Just don't take too long, because I want kick your butt in Modern warfare three later."

"Yeah, no problem. Because I'm pretty sure that confidence will fall apart when we fight next time."

"Yeah go ahead and believe that."

And with that we both had finished are breakfast and put are stuff in the sinks and headed in separate directions. Zane went to his car while I went upstairs to wait for his return. When I got into my room and sat down on my couch near the right hand corner near the door and sat down and picked the book I was reading earlier this week and started to read when all of a suddenly a large bang came from down stairs from the foyer of the wooden doors hitting the stone wall.

So feeling threatened I walked over to the book shelf and picked up the m16 on display on the middle self and the ammo which was also on the shelf and loaded the gun and turned off the safety and walked towards the stairs hearing a conversation start up just as the sound of the doors closed.

"Kirin by what hellhound are you doing we don't even know if he livessss here." said a very feminine voice said elongating the s in her words, but what it said caused me to pick up the hast slightly because of the name Kirin. So wanting to know if it was the Kirin from my dream I rushed over to the corner of the wall and listened into the conversation.

Then once settled a male teenage voice rang out saying" Yes what are you doing brother. Do you have any idea what we're doing? We should have made sure this was his house before we nearly brought the doors down."

Then the voice from my dream came out saying" well this is the fastest way." and this time a lot louder probably because he may have yelled "You really think I care! All I want to do is see my big brother! All I want to see is Jered!!!" And with that I came out from around the corner and held up my gun and looked down to the foyer and found some semi weird people and the bunny from my dreams towering over a girl.

This girl was maybe a least 5'3" with long brown hair decorated like a cobras back. This girl wore Green elegant silk pants and shirt with a brown over the shoulder duffel bag on her back and it looked like it was plainly leather.

Then standing next to the girl was a teenage boy at the age of maybe fourteen or fifteen. With falcon like wings coming out of his back and the next thing that really caught my eye was his feet as they were talons like a falcons. He wore a white cotton shirt with brown cotton pants. Then looking down at feet I began to wonder how the hell he got in to his pants without ripping them up. But that flew from my mind when I came to face as I found he was staring right at me. And when he saw me looking at him he looked at me and made a nudge with his head towards the bunny and the girl which were having a staring contest the whole time. Then understanding what he was getting at I made a motion with my gun in the same direction. He gave a node and He then grabbed the girls shoulder and forcefully tore her away from the staring contest, forcing her gaze to fall upon me.

This had caused the girl to turn back towards the bunny and yell at him saying" Know do you ssssee what you've done you sssstupid bunny. You just broke into this kid'ssss housssse." she said making a gesture to me. She then looked up to me and said" Pleasssse forgive this sssstupid bunny he can be a real idiot ssssome timessss. We were jusssst about to leave."

Then speaking up I said" It's not a problem. But before you do can you tell me two things."

The girl they looked up at me in confusion and said "Yes. What are they?"

Then putting my gun down by my side I said" Hey kid with the wings."

"Yes." he happily replied.

"How do you get into your pants without tearing them apart and how do get in to your shirt?"

He then put his right side so it was a visible and undid a button on the side and pulled it slightly away so it reveled his legs which resembled a birds because they wear yellow like his feet but they weren't sticks and once then done showing me his pants he buttoned it back up and said" There are buttons along the outside part of the pants." and after that he turned around and said "There are button right above my wings.

"Thank you. Know second question how did you find me no one but four people know where this house stands?"

The girl then came forward and pulled out a small amulet with a beautiful diamond in the center and surround by golden trim from inside her dress held aloft so I could see it and said" The amulet wasss once yourssss. And we used it track you down sssso we could bring you home to Cadara."

"Know how do you know who I am and especially my name?"

Once I said that the bunny came forward and said" So your name is Jered?"

"Yes." and when I said that the bunny grew a large smile and said" I'll prove it that we know who you are." then giving a slight pause as if thinking of something and then said "There are markings on your left arm that go up to your neck which your covering with that scarf and glove."

Utterly amazed on what he said I said" How do you know that not even my friend knows that so how can you?''

"Because Jered you're my big brother how could I not know that. We grew up together."

"That impossible I should remember if I had bunny for a brother."

After that was said the bunny stepped right next to the girl and said" Big brother the reason you can't remember is because your memories were sealed away behind a seal on your right hand. Please come back home with us so we can become a family again, please Jered."

"How do I know this isn't just some hallucination?" I said putting my gun in a position I could fire at them if they made a move. "Please Jered, please just come home, please.'' The bunny said almost on the verge of crying. And just as he was about to break down. The doors opened up and Zane came into the foyer closing the doors behind him and walked past the three creatures with his suit case in tow not even blinking and started to walk upstairs. When he got towards me he said" So Jered what's going on here and why does the bunny look like he's about to break down into a crying fit?"

Then continuing the conversation as if they weren't there" Ow. Them the say there my siblings and the bunny most have very close to me and he just wants me to go home with them. SO what's in the suit case?"

Not even phased by my statement he said" Ow, ok. This is just my training gear I thought you would like to spar with me to pass the time or something." Which he said lifting the suitcase a little to show what he was talking about.

"Well thank you for thinking of me Zane." I said giving him a hug and said removing. "Well I'm not sure if you need it because I'm going to accept their proposal and go home with them. So if you want I'm not going to kick you out of my house because you're the only friend I have that knows about this place so I give you permission to live here while I'm gone, and make yourself welcome to use the money in my bank account if your running low on food. But remember what happened last time you used to much. And one last thing No two. No parties or I will personally murder you second and if you get any calls from my parents make a very good lies note I never get sick so don't use that and say Jessica instead of Jered my parents will only answer to that. And that should be all."

After that Zane gave me a hug and said " Jered I'll water your plants for you. Be careful and remember to take your guns any where you haven't gone before for safety."

Then removing myself from the hug I said somewhat sarcastically" Fine mom."

And with that I looked down towards the foyer and said" Because my friend admits to seeing you and since your presence didn't faze him this isn't dream and I will go along with you."

And when I said that the three teens in the foyer each said a form of "yes." and then all bowed slightly and said ''thank you.''

"Now that is settled I will gather my things and then we will head out to were ever your taking me." and with that I started to walk towards my room.
