LNL 1: The First Day of Lloyds’ New Life

This is my first story so be please kind(and rewind). j/k I've always wanted to do that.
I'll try to post new chapters weekly or semi-weekly, either/or.
"Hey who's that" a female fox whispered to her friend. "I don't know" her friend replied "He must be new". They were talking about an 18 year old wolf that had just walked past them.
The wolfs' name was Lloyd, he was about 5"8' with a dark grey coat, a very slight muscular build, and deep blue eyes. Lloyd walked nervously around his new school; he had just transfer to central Florida from northern Ohio. His father had received a very generous job offer, and as a result he and his family had to relocate to the "Sunshine State". Lloyd was very upset by this news; it meant that he would have to spend his senior year, his final year in high school, in a place where he had no friends. All that aside he also had to adjust to the dramatic temperature change. Usually this time of year in Ohio, the mid fall, the temperature was in the low 50's, not the high 80's! He did, however, find that his new schools outdoor campus did look very beautiful and had wonderful cross breezes blowing through it. Looking down and his schedule he noticed that his first period class was electronics in room 416. Not wanting to be late on the first day he quickly rushed to his classroom, that was not to easy to find. He found a seat near the back and sat down. In his rush he had arrived almost five minutes before the bell would ring. The teacher wasn't there, but there were several other furs already in the classroom as well.
Everyone was talking to each other like they were old friends, probably because they were; they asked each other about events that had transpired over the summer break. This made Lloyd begin to feel lonely again; he missed all of his friends that he had left behind. He was thinking so much that he didn't even notice that more furs were starting to file into the class room. The sound of the bell snapped him out of his ponderous state. His teacher then came in and introduced himself as Mr. Salvador. After going over the basics of what the class would be like and the rules to follow, Mr. Salvador gave the class the rest of the period to talk amongst themselves. When the class began to go back to the conversations that they were having before the bell, Lloyd felt a tap on his shoulder. Turning around he saw that who had taped his shoulder was a large lion.
"Hey, I'm Sean." said the lion "So are you new this year?" "Um, oh yes I am, I just moved down here from Ohio." Lloyd replied "My names Lloyd by the way." Sean extended his hand so that he and Lloyd could shake, and after they did Sean asked one more question. "So, can I see your schedule, so I can see if we have anymore classes together?" Lloyd diged the folded piece of paper out of his pocket and handed it to Sean. "It looks like we have business and government class together." Sean exclaimed. "Cool." replied Lloyd. The two of them talked to each other for the rest of the period until the bell rang to begin the move to second period.
On his walk to second period he was stopped by a vixen "Excuse me," she said "were you talking to Sean Leonheart last period?" "Yeah, I guess" Lloyd replied "Why do you ask?" "Well" she said "I've been going to school with him for almost four years now and that was the longest he has ever talked to any one. Usually he just grunts and gives one word answers." "Really?" Lloyd said quizzically. "Yeah, so are you two good friends or something?" The vixen asked. Lloyd thought about this for a moment and then said "Yeah, I guess we are friends now, but to be honest that was the first time I met him." "Weird," she replied "but I've got to run or I'll be late. See you later guy." This was an odd turn of events for Lloyd. He had already made a friend which is what he wanted most of all less than an hour ago, but now he was starting to wonder what kind of fur Sean really was.
Lloyds' day progressed quickly until it was time for his business class. Lloyd once again arrived early to his class. He found an empty computer that was in the corner almost hidden from the teachers' desk by the thirty other monitors filling the room. A few seconds later he saw Sean walk in and look around, noticing Lloyd he made straight for him. Watching Sean get closer Lloyd noticed something about Sean that he hadn't in first period. He saw that the lion was of a muscular build, about 6"4', and had dark brown eyes even darker than his sandy brown fur. He didn't know why but he got a strange feeling when looking at him. He kind of thought that Sean looked kind of handsome. "Hey" Sean said as he took the seat next to Lloyd. "Hi" Lloyd replied. Lloyd began to think back to what the vixen had told him earlier. Something about his thoughts must have shown on his face because Sean then asked "Are you okay?" "What, oh yeah sorry I'm just tired." Lloyd lied "I'm not used to getting up so early for school is all." "I hear ya" Sean replied "I wish it were later in the day." They continued to talk until class started, and after class was over it was lunch time.
They both bought food from the vending machines rather than wait in line for food for ten minutes. Sean then told Lloyd to follow him and they reached the spot where Sean ate lunch every day. The area was behind a large concrete pole, and although other students were all around, it was hard to notice them sitting behind the pole. "This is where I usually eat." said Sean as the both sat with their backs to the pole "Usually I just eat then do homework, read, or listen to music." This again reminded Lloyd of the vixens' words; he decided to ask Sean about it. "So, Sean eh... I talked to this girl today and she said that you don't usually talk to other people that much. So I was kind o wondering..." "Why I decided to talk to you." Sean finished the question for Lloyd "Well I can't say really but I thought you looked lonely, like I usually feel, and I guess I thought that you could use some company is all." "Sorry for bringing it up" Lloyd said "I was just curious." "It's okay." Sean said. They then ate their lunch and then said goodbye to each other and parted ways, to their individual fifth periods.
Later that day in sixth period, their government class and the last period of the day, they meet up again. Lloyd, once again, arrived a little early and watched Sean walk towards him again; as he had during business class. Lloyd got the same feeling that he had during the business class. "Finally the last period." Sean commented. "Yeah, but school did seem to go a little quicker than it usually does, for me anyway" Lloyd replied. "It was really slow for me." said Sean. Just then the bell rang to begin class. The teacher walked in and the class began.
***After class***
Lloyd and Sean walked out to the senior parking lot towards their cars. They talked to each other about their new classes and teachers, like which class was the most fun, and which teacher was the biggest prick. They both couldn't agree on the worst teacher, but they did both agree that Mr. Salvadors' electronics class was the best. They both stopped right by the same parking space, pointed at their cars, and said simultaneously "Well this is by car." They had parking spaces that were right next to each other. "How cool," Lloyd said "we park next to each other." "Well that's a pretty amazing coincidence." Sean replied. "I need to get going." Lloyd said "I promised my parents I'd help unpack when I got home." "Okay," Sean said "I'll see you tomorrow then" "See ya" Lloyd replied. Then they both got in their cars and headed for home.
At home Lloyd told his parents about his day and the new friend that he had made. The rest of the week went on in the same manner as the first day had Sean and Lloyd would meet every morning by their cars and spend the day together. Nothing really special happened, until Friday during lunch that is.
"Hey, Lloyd what kinds of movies do you like?" Sean asked. "Uh well..., I'd say I probably like comedy movies the best, but I very rarely go to theaters any more. So the last one I say was around a year ago." "Well then would you like to go see a movie Saturday?" Sean asked "There's a new one that's supposed to come out that's the funniest movie ever made, I highly doubt that though." "Well, sure I guess." Lloyd replied "I just don't know where this towns' theater is yet." "That's no problem" Sean replied "Just give me your address and I'll pick you up at your house. I'll even show you around the town afterwards. Okay?" With that Lloyd gave Sean his phone number and address. "Great," Sean said "I'll call you, tonight so we can decide when to go." "Alright" Lloyd agreed.
The rest of the day went quickly, and soon it was time to go home. Before they left Sean said "I'll call you around six, Okay?" "Alright" Lloyd said "Talk to you later then." with that they pulled out of the parking lot again and headed home.
That night Sean called Lloyd. They agreed to go to see the four o'clock show, and go see the town afterwards. Lloyd couldn't wait for the following day. He even went to bed a little earlier than normal. During the night Lloyd had an abnormal dream. He was standing with Sean in an open field, and they were talking to each other. Lloyd didn't really pick-up on what Sean was saying, until he heard him say "I love you Lloyd." And then he hugged Lloyd close to him pressing Lloyds' head to his chest with one of his hands. Lloyd then replied something that he hadn't even been thinking, lifting his head to look at Sean he said "I love you too Sean." Sean then lowered his muzzle to Lloyds. They were centimeters away... BEEP!! BEEP!! BEEP!!
Lloyd sat bolt upright in his bed. "What was that dream about." he thought to himself "That's not how I really feel, is it?"
