#1 of story of an outcast

'Well here goes nothing,' I thought to myself as I walked in the door of the high school. I am a dark Renomon (no typo there is a difference: Renamon-female, Renomon-male) but unlike other virus types (basic good vs. evil scale with digimon: Vaccine-usually good, Data-neutral, Virus-usually evil) I wasn't evil. I had learned in my time in the digital world (FYI for ya, I'm only 14 human years, spent 10 of those in the digital world, I don't know about digimon years, you do the math I'm lazy...) that you should only hurt someone on purpose if they have harmed you. I am roughly 6 feet tall and surprisingly lightweight. I have black fur, but where a normal dark renomon would have red fur, mine is only a dark grey. My gloves are black with a green and black ying-yang symbol on them. My eyes are green too. (Bet your thinking enough with the descriptions and on with the story, well okay, I'm tired of typing the descriptions to.)

I volunteered to help with a program that was trying to integrate digimon into schools so digimon could have the same education as most humans. I decided to volunteer because I wanted to show that I wasn't evil, and because I grew up an orphan, I had no type of education whatsoever. I knew a lot about survival, but I didn't know a thing about anything past a grade 8 level of learning.

I walked in the door and immediately got some stares. I was unusual to see a digimon on his/her own, and it was even rarer to see a dark type. So when I walk in many people start to worry because of the stereotype that all darks are evil. I walked straight to the office and told the secretary that I had an appointment with the principal.

"And your name is?" she asked when I said this.

"Cipher Razgriz" I replied and she visibly relaxed.

"Right this way then." She said and led me down a hallway.

After talking to the principal, I went to my first class. I got a lot of stares, even from the other digimon. The students had been told about me, but some were still afraid. Apparently the school had a small arena for digimon to battle in over the lunch break so I decided to watch one of the matches. It was between a Gatomon and a Terriormon. Both were not that strong so the battle was over quick with the Terriormon winning. Then I noticed a trainer bragging about his digimon's strength. I recognized him because he was in my science class and apparently was the top trainer in the school. I walked over to the Gatomon and her trainer. Then I noticed that the Gatomon had a large gash on her arm

"Hi, need a hand with that?" I asked when I saw the trainer trying to fix the wound.

"Sure, but you wouldn't happen to have a spare healing card on you, mine was stolen yesterday..." the trainer said as she stood up and noticed who I was. "Oh it's you, I meant to ask earlier but what is your name, mine's Jennifer, or Jen for short, and this is Gabriel or as my mom likes to call her, Gabby." She said as she held out her hand.

"My names Cipher, pleasure to meet you, and here is that card." I said as I shook her hand. I gave her the card and Gabriel was healed in no time.

"Can't even take out a measly little Terriormon, pathetic Jen," I heard from behind me.

"Shut up Jake, at least I have some brains in my head. You probably couldn't tell up from down if your feet weren't on the ground. No offence Michelle, but your trainer is an idiot." Jen replied. Jake didn't see but Michelle nodded.

"Ya talk tough but I could obliterate you in the arena. Ugh I don't get why they let scum like a dark type into schools they should be locked away for good." Jeff said.

"Speaking of just talking tough, why don't you back that statement up? If your digimon wins against me in the arena I'll leave the school. If I win you hand over your title as best trainer to Jen." I said, as a crowd started to gather.

"Whatever. Tomorrow at lunch then?" Jake said.

"If we were in the digital world right now, you would be nothing but a pile of dust. You're on." I replied.

"Why did you do that for me, he is normally all talk?" Jen asked.

"I hate people who are like that, his ego is over inflated. Someone has to take him down a peg."

"Hear hear!" Gabriel exclaimed.

"I have an idea that might free his digimon too, I can read minds and he lets his friend's digimon have their way with her when she disobeys him or loses. All I need you to do is get his D-arc." I told Jen and Gabriel.

"Ok, that should be easy it is always clipped on his backpack. Gabby should be able to borrow it. What are you planning?"

"If I can destroy his D-arc his digimon will be free of him, and she can either choose a different trainer or return to the digital world. Just so you know, if she chooses a different trainer it might be you. Michelle likes you.

The next day...

"Showtime" I thought as I walked into the arena. I didn't want to hurt Michelle, but if everything went according to plan, I wouldn't have to.

"Digimon take you places, 3, 2, 1, Go." The announcer shouted.

I immediately rushed at Michelle and, as I predicted, she jumped out of the way. Few people know it, but renomon can communicate telepathically, and I did just that with Michelle.

'Michelle, it's me Cipher, I have a plan to free you from Jake, but we need to make this fight last.' I told her.

'Ok, just tell me where to dodge and I will do the same. Do you mind taking a couple of hits, I don't, makes the fight more realistic?' She asked.

'Sure, dodge right, 3, 2, 1, NOW!' I told her as I launched a chaos needle at her. I should tell you about my attacks. My weakest attack is basically diamond storm, but the shards are black. My second weakest attack is throwing basically a needle made of chaos at the enemy. This one detonates on impact, the equivalent of a hand grenade. My second strongest attack is when I gather small amounts of chaos on my claws; this one can cut almost anything. My strongest, controlled, attack is throwing a ball of chaos the size of a football, which is the equivalent of a small nuclear bomb. It only has a range of 1/2 a mile, but you're as good as dead in that range. I can also throw multiple chaos needles at once, but that drains my energy.

'Was that chaos?'

'Yes, but I won't hit you with that, only a dark diamond storm.'

'Oh in that case hit me... NOW!' she told me as she changed direction. I hit her, not hard, but she made it look like I put enough force behind my attack to blow her across the arena.

'Good acting, now hit me as hard as you can, with any attack.' I told her.

'If I did I'd actually hurt you!'

'Exactly. I want him to think he doesn't need to use cards for you to win.'

'Ah, I get it. Diamond storm 10 feet in front of you, 3, 2, 1, now.' She said as she launched a powerful diamond storm at me. It impacted and did some damage, but to me it was nothing serious.

'Hey Gabby, how are you doing?' I asked Gabriel.

'Good, I have the D-arc. Finish the fight quick.' She replied.

'Ok. Hey Michelle, you mind losing now, we have the D-arc.'

'Good, fire a chaos needle so it impacts beside me. I'll do the rest.' Michelle replied. I did that and she pretended that she had been badly hurt. I pretended to help Michelle up and we both headed for the arena exit where I saw gabby waiting.

'Gabby throw the D-arc to me. I'll destroy it now.' I told Gabriel.

'Ok, catch.' She said as she threw the d-arc. I let go of Michelle and caught the D-arc.

"Hey Jake, this look familiar? I believe it's yours." I said as I held up the D-arc. Michelle moved closer to me, she was clearly scared.

"Michelle grab that D-arc like a good little bitch and bring it to me."

"No." Michelle stated. The whole crowd was suddenly quiet. They all knew what was going to happen next.

Jake stormed into the arena. As he did so I dropped the D-arc, and summoned a ball of chaos the size of a marble. "Jake, we all know what you have done to Michelle, and in a few seconds you won't be her trainer anymore. Michelle back up, this is going to be big." I told her as the shields for the arena went back up. I dropped the chaos bomb and there was a deafening explosion. When the smoke cleared everyone saw the sizable crater from the bomb. I was unharmed by the blast, and no one else besides Jake was hurt. A small rock had hit his right arm and had gone through it. Nothing was left of the D-arc.

"You son of a bitch, you'll pay for that. TRY TO DOGE THIS" Jake yelled as he pulled out a gun.
