It was Friday at last. The halls of the school flooded with students in a rush to get home. Roger was just as happy to get home but what he wanted more than anything was to see James. Nothing made the deaf saber tooth tiger happier than his otter friend James. It had come as a surprise when his friend had just kissed him out of the blue. Not that he would ever complain. He had had feelings for the basketball player for some time. He just never knew that James had felt the same way until that fateful day. Although Roger kept to himself it was no secret anymore about their romance. The whole school found out and the majority of them thought it was cool. The basketball team didn't even reject James when they found it. Some of them were quoted as saying "So, what else is new?".

James was very well liked by everyone and went out of his way to be friends with everyone. There was only one group that really hated the turn of events for both the basketball star and his new boyfriend. The religious crowd was notorious for voicing how they felt about anything they thought went against the bible. After they caught wind of the couple word spread to the families many started to protest the school saying they should kick them out. The school so no harm in it and fended off the families as best they could. What would make things worse was the Homecoming Dance was that weekend. They weren't the only gay couple under constant fire from the religious fanatics but they've had their fair share of death threats.

Roger opened his locker and haphazardly shoved his books in before shutting it. He was tired from the days work but he perked up when he saw James coming his way. His smile widened when the otter pulled a rose from behind his back.

"You're so sweet." Roger signed to his lover. James handed him the rose and kissed his cheek before signing back.

"I also got us tickets to the Homecoming dance tonight. Kyler is going to be there and he told me he was going to ask Tyris out."

"They would make a cute couple." Roger said then sniffed the rose. It wasn't a red rose, though it was one of his favorites, it was a pure white rose. He looked back at James with his heart pounding.

"So, are you wearing the dress tomorrow or am I?" James joked. Roger slumped his shoulders and tried to give the otter an evil eye but he couldn't help but chuckle and hold the sports stars hand. James tok the Tigers hand in both his and gazed longingly into his amber eyes. There was a sparkle he had never seen before and it made him feel better. With as many people as he'd tried being with none seemed to have that sparkle when they were with him. Then again the majority of them were cheerleaders just looking to make the best sports player their arms candy. Usually it worked the same in reverse but not for James.

The otters attention was drawn to the other end of the hall where the principle, a brown bear with a ferocious demeanor, was in a heated debate with one of the other faculty members.

"What these kids need is support. I wont deny them from going to the Homecoming with whomever they want."

"But sir if you'll just listen to reason. We can't allow this for the sake of the children. Parents are in an uproar and will cause nothing but problems for us and the kids."

"I've already gotten the police involved. They will keep any mob that comes to protest away from the school."

"If you do this I will have no choice but to go to the superintendent of the school district and inform him of your reckless choice."

"Go ahead. You'll be surprised to find out something from the superintendent. He is after all a good friend of mine. Ah gentlemen." The principle said stopping in front of James and Roger. "I hope you two are doing well."

"As well as can be expected." James said with a half smile. "Though I'm a little confused about what's going on."

"It really nothing to worry about. You just let us take care of it." Roger noticed his lovers sad expression and nudged him wondering what had him so upset. James turned around and tried to smile again. He knew all too well what was going on and it didn't look like things were going to end well.

"Are you OK?" Roger signed to the otter. James just nodded and signed back to him.

"Everything will be alright. The principle is under fire from both sides of what we represent." Roger dropped his smile and hugged James tight not wanting to let go. James ran his hand through the Tigers fur trying to reassure him that everything would be alright but there was still a glimmer of doubt playing at the back of his mind. Still he felt determined not to let anything happen to either of them.

James looked back down the hall to see another one of his new friends come strolling by. It was a cheetah by the name of Marshal. No one ever made fun of him despite being a flaming gay. He was very well liked by everyone that wasn't in the religious crowd.

"Hi, James." He said flamboyantly. James nodded holding his lover tighter. "What's the matter?"

"Mr. Dragitch just came by. It seems our weekend is not going to be a very good one with the protesters standing at the gates."

"Oh, don't worry about that. We're all going to go and have a great time, won't we?" He looked at Roger who had been reading his lips the whole time. Roger produced a small smile and nodded. He and Marshal had become close friends and if he said things would be alright then they defiantly would be more than fine. Marshal smiled and stole a playful kiss from the tiger making James a little jealous but he knew they both were just playing. As mush as Roger liked Marshal he didn't love him they way he loved James. Marshal was too outspoken for his own good and Roger didn't want that. Besides James was too adorable when they got into the right situation. The thought made Rogers pants seem to shrink and James felt it too.

"Heh, I feel a little sugar coming. You'll have to save that till tomorrow night, my love. For now lets get you home. I have some things to pick up and I'm sure you'll want to get some sleep." Roger nodded then placed his arm around the otters waist as they walked down the hall and out the main pat of the building.

It was luck that Roger lived next door to James. Though James just dropped Roger off in front of his house and waved as he turned the corner back into town. Roger let out a satisfying sigh then went into his house throwing his backpack on the closest piece of furniture he could find. The house itself was clean and seemed to be dust free. Though I wouldn't hold a white glove inspection to it since no one really ever seemed to dust the shelves. At least not properly. No one in the house had allergies so they never realized they still had dust anywhere unless someone from outside came in and started sneezing.

Roger's mother came out of the kitchen holding a ladle in her right hand and an exhausted looked on her tired features. She looked at him with surprise then looked at the clock. There seemed to be something odd and she looked back at him to sign.

"What time is it? Did you get out of school early?" Roger looked at the clock and rolled his eyes before signing back.

"The clocks battery dies weeks ago. I though you were going to replace it." A look of shock fell on her face then a realization hit. She was going to replace the battery at some point but got lost in everything else she was doing.

"Alright get your stuff up to your room dinner will be ready shortly." Roger took a deep breath and grabbed his backpack before going to his room on the other end of the house away from the over heated kitchen. He really didn't like her cooking but it was still edible none the less. Most of the time they would end up eating out since she usually killed dinner by cooking it at a higher temperature than she should or she would forget to stir something and it stuck to the bottom of the pan leaving a burnt taste in the food.

Dinner was the last thing on Rogers mind, however. He hung his backpack on the back of his computer chair and fell onto the bed closing his eyes. He forgot to shut the door so his little sister snuck in and pounced on him. She wasn't more than eight years old so at least she was light enough not to hurt him too badly. He hadn't been expecting any company so it came as a total shock when she landed on his lap. He sat up quickly and grabbed her making sure she didn't hit anything vital. He was definitely going to need those for tomorrow night. There had been some occasions where she had really hurt him there and he couldn't breath but he soon learned to keep them covered.

He latched himself around her and started tickling her uncontrollably. He squealed and tried to get away but he held her pretty tight.

"No, stop." she cried desperately. Since he couldn't hear her she tapped his arm three times in signal that she gave up.

"You should know better than to try and get a jump on me." He signed to her playfully. She signed back to him sloppily since she was still learning. He had only been deaf for three years ever since the virus he had caught went untreated for so long.

"Moms trying to cook meatloaf again." she said making sure to form her words carefully so that he could understand her. He nodded and laid back again. The smoke alarm when off causing the little girl to cover her ears. Roger just had to look out in the hall and see the flashing light on the smoke detector and he sighed again.

"Shit, my meatloaf!" Cried his mother from the kitchen. Roger looked up at his ceiling knowing what the outcome of tonight was going to be but what he didn't expect was someone to show up on his front doorstep a few minutes later. Roger was the one to answer the door. Standing before him was the lithe cheetah Marshal having just come from his track meet.

"Hey, Roger." He said with a bright smile. Roger smiled back unable to contain his joy that at least something tonight would going right. He needed a good friend to cheer him up after another disaster hit the kitchen. His mother nearly caught the whole house on fire by placing the kitchen towel on one of the electric burners which was still on.

"Please, come in." Roger signed quickly then led Marshal to his room. He shooed his little sister out of the room and shut the door behind her hitting her rear end on the way out.

"Sounds like you need a hug." Marshal signed before reaching out and grabbing the tiger in both arms. Roger hugged him back and laid his head on his shoulder. The both broke apart and sat down on either ends of the bed before Marshal signed excitedly. He was so overtly excited that Roger had to watch his lips to make sure he caught everything.

"I just saw James in town just a few moments ago and he was at the tux store trying on his suit. He looks so hot in it. Just wait till you see it."

"Don't spoil it for me I really want to see him in it tomorrow when he comes to pick me up." Roger was blushing nd turned to look away to embarrassed at what he was thinking about. He didn't care what he looked like in the tux since he wouldn't be wearing it all night. He planned to show his lover a good time. He planned to take him behind the school and show him how ferocious he could be.

"My, aren't we embarrassed. I wonder could I stay for dinner. My parents won't be home till late tonight. They had a business meeting, like they always do." Marshal spent most of his time at his friends houses staying constantly for dinner since his parents were the mayors help aids. They helped him make all kinds of decisions that would affect the whole town. Having been the average working class citizen for some time they knew what directions to take to make sure the city flourished in both jobs and liberty. After finding out about their son they spoke with the mayor about the possibility of abolishing certain outdated lays that left many of the city population without a job due to discrimination in the workplace. Those laws were easily abolished under protest from certain members of the city council. They were out numbered however five to one. Each of the twelve council members had a chance to voice their honest opinion and two of them, being the proud Christians they were, shared their insight as to the possible outcome of their actions as being reckless and harmful to the community at large. Though one council member pulled out the us constitution and read verbatim what it said. "No state shall deny any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws." The matter was then put to rest and a lot of people were able to have jobs again and the economy bloomed overnight.

Marshal had been proud of his parents but it still left him at a slight disadvantage at night when there was no one there to ask him how his day went. Roger knew what he was going through and went a little further than allowing him to stay for dinner.

"How about you stay the night." He signed slowly. "I think it would be better for you than to have to go home to an empty house."

"Thank you, I would greatly appreciate it." Marshal took rogers hands in his and pulled him into his arms into another hug then kissed him deeply. It felt good to Roger but mostly only when it was James doing the kissing. Still Marshal was a very good friend and the kiss still meant a lot to him.

Dinner was carry-out Chinese food from the Happy Garden on the west side of town. Rogers mom made his dad pick it up on the way home. He wasn't to thrilled about it and sure as hell wasn't happy that she nearly set the kitchen on fire. Still he picked up the food and brought it home to a starving group. He was happy to see a new face in the house. He knew all about his son, Roger, and his lover, James, but he had never met Marshal in person before.

"It's nice to have you over. I just wish I could meet your parents. It's nice to know they have good family values given your nature."

"It's nice to be here with you. I just wish my parents spent as much time at home as they do at the office. I hear they're working on a bright new project that would bring equality to the town. Any idea what its about?"

"You as much informed as we are. Though I say it's going to stir up a lot of controversy with the religious group here in town." Roger just ate in peace watching everyone's lips as they talked. What they were discussing was nothing new to him. Marshal talked about it some of the time when he voiced his concerns about his home life. Not long after dinner everyone retired to their rooms. Roger laid on his bed snuggling his friend close to him. He slid his hand through his soft fur and comforted as he slowly fell asleep. Roger sometimes wondered what it would be like to have parents that were never home. It was a sad feeling he didn't want to feel but the idea seemed to follow him into his dreams and gave him an uneasy nights sleep.

It was late into the evening when James came to the door holding a bouquet or long stem white and red roses. Roger understood the meaning behind them and felt a flutter in his stomach. They had been together for some time even over the summer they had enjoyed each others company. Now as they entered their last year perhaps it would be the last chance to keep their romance. James got down on one knee in front of everyone and pulled a small box from inside pocket of his jacket.

"Roger, I have never felt so alive than when I'm with you. I hope that we can stay together even after school has let out. I want nothing more than to keep you in my heart and in my life. Please, will you marry me?" Rogers mother burst into happy tears at getting to see such a wonderful moment. She pulled out her camera and snapped a few pictures of James placing the engagement ring on Rogers finger. Roger was in tears looking at the ring on his finger and jumped into James waiting arms unable to restrain his joy. The otter held him tight not wanting to let go wishing the moment could last forever but Rogers mother was shooing them out the door reminding them they didn't want to be late for the dance. James after all had been nominated to be homecoming king. Who wouldn't want the captain of the football team, who had lead them to many victories over the last three years, as the Homecoming king. He had been nominated a few times before but he was never the captain back then. This year he gained the honor and was very well liked by almost everyone.

James drove carefully through the parking lot trying to avoid the protestors being held at bay by the county sheriffs. It seemed the local city cops wanted no part in what was going on at the school. A good majority of them were church goers and didn't like what the school was doing anymore than the fanatics trying to storm the gates.

Before they could be set upon by the angry mob they made their way up to the school and ran into the superintendent.

"Hey, fella's." He said waving to them. "Glad you guys could make it. I'm happy to support you guys in this event and I heard a rumor floating around saying you guys are engaged now. Is that correct?"

"Yes, sir." james said showing the ring to the superintendent.

"That's fabulous. Oh, just to let you know." Lowered his voice so only James could hear. Roger was able to catch his lips but just barely. "I'm also gay. Though if the school council found out I would be out of a job."

"Not with the new laws Marshal's parents have enacted."

"They don't apply to the school though. I have to be voted out and a good majority of the board members are religious nut jobs."

"I see your point. Have a good night sir."

"You two and have fun. Don't let these hate mongers ruin your evening." James led roger to the door but roger held him back then nodded for him to follow. James looked around confused then followed his lover around the side of the school. Roger didn't stop until they were hidden in the shadows behind the school and before James could ask anything roger got down on his knees and pulled the otters pants off.

"Oh my." James cried as the saber toothed tiger groped his balls and licked up this now exposed shaft. It was soft at first but being as the tiger looked so appetizing he couldn't how hard he got. It was so full it was pulsing with every beat of his heart. The feeling of the tigers rough tongue drove him into peaceful bliss with every pass. Roger licked up over the tip one last time before taking the hard member deep in his muzzle to the back of his throat. He didn't have much in the way of gag reflexes so it didn't bother him. It did drive the otter wild though feeling the warmth of his eager muzzle. James went weak in the knees and sank down to the ground. Roger stopped for a moment then made his lover lay on his back. James didn't argue or resist he tore off his jacket and cummerbund making sure he didn't have a single piece of clothing on. Roger took a moment to do the same stopping halfway through to lick or suck on the otter before he was completely naked. James placed his hands on the back of Rogers head and tried really hard not to force him down on his engorged penis. Roger bobbed up and down slowly on James shaft growling hungrily for the cream filling like it was a Twinkie. The otter moaned out in pleasure with each pass and even took to bucking his hips upwards with the same rhythm of the tiger. Before long James was crying out trying to get the tiger to stop before he could release but Roger had no intention of stopping. James cried out and gasped as his load shot into the tigers maw. He swallowed as much of it as he could before trying to get up for air letting the rest of it cover his muzzle. Roger sat back and licked as much of it off as he could. James smiled and leaned up to him drawing him close.

"Looks like you got some out of reach of your tongue." He said panting. He pulled his lover closer and licked the remaining cum off his face. Roger smiled and laid his head on the otters chest smacking his lips trying to savor the sweet salty taste of otter. James was quite content with where they were but really wanted to get back to the dance before they announced the Homecoming king and queen. He taped his lover on the shoulder and made sure he could see what he was saying.

"I think we should get back before they send a search party after us. I'm sure you don't them to find us like this."

"They won't find us like this. They may find us like this though." Roger grabbed James legs and slid them around his waist. He didn't want to waste anymore time. He hadn't pawed off in two weeks and was really itching to fill the otter to the point he felt it would impregnate him. James had no time to protest before roger slammed his barbed shaft deep into the tight hole. James whimpered at first having not been given the chance to adjust to the intruding tiger cock. It was not something he had expected from his usually submissive lover. He loved the tiger more and more wondering what he would pull next to show how much he loved him. Roger closed his eyes taking a moment to enjoy the warmth surrounding his thickness. His own shaft pulsed so hard that James felt every beat. The otter tightened his hole around the tigers shaft and made him slide out of him trying to milk what pre he had. When roger pushed back in it felt better being slicker from the massive amounts of pre he produced. He slid himself out again into the cool night air pulling even the tip out before slamming it in without restraint making sure to savor every little feeling he could. It didn't help that he was already close having not pawed in so long and desperately wanting to plaster the otters insides. He waited in between thrusts to make sure he wasn't going to cum too soon. That would be disastrous considering he wanted to give his lover as much pleasure as he could before letting the flood gates go. James gasped and tried to fight back the moans hoping no one heard him the first time. If he did it a second time someone would find them for sure. Just to hurry it along James maneuvered his tail into a position where he could easily shove it in the tigers hole unexpectedly. It took him a moment but at last he found the tigers tightness and shoved in with a swift motion filling the tight hole with his thick tail and hitting the back of the cavity to the sweet spot. Roger growled and came hard in James making the pressure build up so much that James cried out again as his own seed coated their fur. Roger shivered and fell over on top of his lover panting then looked at him and tried to say something.

"That wasn't fair." James held roger close to him wincing from all the pressure built up in his tail hole. All seemed to end well for now until they could get back to the dance before someone noticed they weren't inside. James tapped roger on the shoulder making sure he could see his lips in the dim light.

"Lets clean up and see if we can sneak in without being noticed." Roger nodded in agreement. As they pulled apart there was a loud bang that came from the front side of the school followed by two more. James knew what that sound was. It was gun fire. They hurried up and dressed then ran around the front of the building to see the sheriffs department piling on one of the protestors with a gun laying just feet away. James was scared as to who had been shot. Before he could ask anyone Kyler and Tyris extracted themselves from the crowd looming over a cop yelling for everyone to get back. Tyris was crying and couldn't walk.

"What happened?" James asked desperately. "Who was it?" Tyris was too shaken to form any coherent words.

"It's Marshal." Kyler cried trying to stem the flow of tears. "He was shot in the head."
