My guardian demon
Amy rose was walking down the road with a handful of groceries, she hummed to herself happily thinking about all the wonderful things she would going to cook for sonic, she kept thinking to herself that this was going to be the night that he would finally admit his love to her. She stopped and hailed a taxi cab and got into the first one that stopped it was very dark out around 1:00 in the morning, she had been so excited to finally get enough money to make her future hubby a diner he will never forget. The taxi stopped at her house, it was a nice little place that her chaise's father helped pay for.
She would give the taxi driver his pay as she would close the door and wave goodbye with a smile on her face. The taxi drove off leaving a cloud of water behind him as she would attempt to open the door, the door clicked as she opened it up and closed it behind her, she flipped the light switch nearby to find it wouldn't turn on she stumbled around in the dark for a bit and found the table in which she sat the groceries on.
She heard something all of a sudden moving from behind her, her eyes tried to adjust to the darkness but to no avail. She tried to tell how many there were, but what she could hear maybe four. Her heart races from complete fear as all of sudden she saw several hands lunge at her, she pushes the table out of the way making a loud crash as she reaches for her Piko hammer, he grabs the handle and raises it high into the air ready to swing when there was loud bang it sounded like a broom being snapped in two.
At first she couldn't figure out what it was until her piko hammer dropped to the floor, a horrible pain shot up through her arm that caused her to scream out in pain. She held her arm and fell to the floor as it turned out she was bleeding horribly, her fears had been confirmed she had been shot, she cries and wails when a hand covers her mouth and several others grebe ahold of her arms and legs and lifts Amy into the air. Carrying Amy to her room, unable to scream all she could think was where was sonic!! Kept hoping that he would jump through the window and save her like a knight in shining armor.
They tossed her onto the bed; she cried and hid under the covers. She manage to get a look at her attackers the blood staining the sheets, the moonlight shined through the window as it revealed the faces of four men one of them was a heavy set and the other were skinny. Their clothes were the usually jugular gear black pants and shirt, but she wasn't focused on their clothes it was there face that caused her to cringe, no love in their eyes only rage and hate.
She lets out one more scream, and what a scream it was the sound prices the walls and rings out like a siren that shook the eardrums of the four men, one stuffed a sock into her mouth to silence her. The one who shot her pointed the gun in-between her eyes ready to pull the trigger, whispering quietly". Make one more noise and I'll blow your fucking brains out" he said his voice sending chills down her spine.
She focused her eyes on the four faces, but something caught her attention it wasn't the four men no it was something much more terrifying, two red orbs lit up behind the four. Unable to scream due to the sock she just looked in terror as a smile appeared in the dark revealing and neat row of razor sharp teeth that reached from ear to ear, speaking of ears the creatures was pointed like a motions ears. The four saw the fear in her eyes and where she was looking, they turn around and for about a brief five seconds of silence the one who held the gun to her head turned around in an attempt to point the gun. Nowhere near fast enough as there was a sickening sound of what sounded like metal hitting meat, blood spurted everywhere as the gunmen's arm fell clean from his body and dropped to the ground. Blood squirted and some of the it splattered on her face as the other three were not far from behind.
They made a struggle to fight as they were dragged into the darkness blood curdling screams were heard as blood showed the walls and it was soon just silence.
The demon now in better lighting is a fox with long horns curving to the back of his head, his fur is a blood red except for his white chest and muzzle, his eyes were red as well and shined like rubies in the darkness. The demon was massive hovering over her he had to be at least nine feet tall his fur was shaggy and unkempt.
His large hand moved towards her slowly, she cringed and attempted to swing at him to her surprise she hit him not that it did anything. It felt like she hit a concrete wall as his hand continued to come closer to her face, Amy closed her eyes ready for her apparent fate as the demon was sure to take her life like the jugulars.
She felt a gentle tug as what he grabbed wasn't her but the sock that she was to terrified to take out. She was speechless as the demon actually sat down onto the bed with her and actually became wrapped in a gentle hug in which the demon started stroking her head as if trying to calm her down. And to her surprise it did being in the arms of the powerful creature knowing that it did not seek her arm was comforting, she suddenly became dizzy realizing that she was still bleed her vision fades as she passes out.
Amy's vision slowly comes back as she can hear the sound a beeping sound, she opens her eyes more as she sees her friends all gathered around her, they all had a look of worry as she saw a very familiar blue figure standing right beside her".....sonic....is that you..."she said softly he looked at her a look of sadness and grief.
"O Amy thank goodness you're all right" Tails had spoken to break the silence
"....How did I end up here "she said looking at their arm and that she was attached to a machine pumping blood into her?
"Someone at your house called an ambulance and we found out you were in the hospital shortly afterwards, they said if someone hadn't of made the call you would of died of bloodless."
Suddenly she was hugged by something small and delicate it was cream the rabbit, she was crying clinging to her"...Oxo Amy me and cheese thought you were going to go to sleep forever!!..."she said as her and cheese sobbed, Amy gave them both a hug before the question forced its self into her head"...Oboe... do you know who called, my memories a bit foggy "she said her memory in a haze and in shock. The others looked at her and then looked at each other before Sonic said something that shocked her.
"...We don't know the ambulance said that when they found you yam were covered in blood, and the person who called was gone....Amy we need to know what happened to the four ...or at least what the police can guess what are remains of four males".
"....What do you mean the attackers!!!...I was shot in the arm!!!"She said actually feeling a new found rage and confidence bubbling up to the surface. She looked at Sonic not being able to even comprehend what he had just asked her.
"...AMY ROSE...I could give two shits about the men who did this to you, but what the police found said it looked like the four men had been shoved into a meat shredder head first. They are still picking body parts up off the ground "he said snapping at her, the others remained silent as they looked at her waiting for a response.
"....I don't remember I blacked out from the blood loss" she lied how could she forget what had taken place that night, how the demon that saved her held her in its arms and strokes her hair before she passed out. But it's not like they would believe her if she told them. She rubs her head look at them.
"...well what ever happened we are glad you're safe and alive Amy" Cream said as she smiled.
"the doctor said you would be out by tomorrow" Tail said giving Amy a gentle smile.
"....." Amy didn't say anything, what replaced joy now was a sense of anger, where was Sonic she needed him!! With a gun pointed to her head and her knight in shining armor being a no show. Her heart was breaking as the one person she all ways knew would save her didn't even make an appearance.
It had been a day now they said her arm was healing up just fine and that she could leave the hospital, Sonic had done the kindness of taking her home himself. I guess for not being there when she needed it, he stopped at her house which was now a crime scene for what ever happened to the attackers, the place was getting a lot of unwanted attention whispering voices some claiming that she killed them, others saying that it was kind of monster and that they had seen it fly away.
Amy wanted to giggle an tell them just how write they were, but it wasn't very funny after all"...home sweet home "she said looking at sonic, she attempted to enter her house but was stopped by police saying that she wasn't allowed near the crime scene.
Amy felt that same sensation of rage and confidence again bubbling up"...WHAT DO YOU MEAN I CAN"T GO IN MY HOUSE "she said snapping at the cop"....WHO CARES ABOUT THE PUNKS WHO BROKE INTO MY HOUSE AND SHOT ME UP "she said the rage clouding her thoughts.
The cop just looked at her blankly while Sonic did his best to hold her back from going to jail for killing a comp, her anger finally came to stop as she just looked at Sonic, something was different though that he noticed right away. There was no love in her eyes, only eyes that held a kind of calm rage cold and calculating.
"Amy is you all right??" Sonic said, only to get a response that would change his world forever.
"...I'm perfectly fine...." she said smiling a little.
"...Amy" Sonic said almost backing up.
"...I wonder if his watching me right now" she said smirking a little.
"...who...who are you talking about" Sonic said fear in his voice; this wasn't Amy not the one he knew.
"...my guardian demon" she said before walking off and vanishing from his sight.
She walked into a nearby ally way and waited until she was out of sight"....so...what took you so long" she said as the demon appeared from the shadows and hovered over her place its hand on her shoulder".....I'm just going to keep. My little secret"
The demon just smiled a toothy grin as well did Amy giving her own somewhat evil smile back.
