#4 of The Voyage

The Voyage chapter 4 by Shetland and Raven Fox: William is flying for the North in a civil war. The three fem canines landed in the South looking for their missing crewmember and they ended up being guests for the South.

Canines ship, minutes after the events of chapter 3.

Sera looked at the display in front of her as the ship flew thru the atmosphere to the landing. The collie looked at the energy level in the core. She looked behind her at the two vixens behind her shaking her head. "Power level is now at ten percent and dropping."

Riku the artic vixen nodded. "We're almost at the deposit Sera, right near those mountains."

Joan the other vixen looked over Sera's shoulder at the display. "Any ideas of what we're going to do after we land?"

Riku answered putting a hand the shorter vixen's shoulder. "First thing we're going to do is camouflage the ship because the cloaking device uses a lot of energy. Till we replenish the core with minerals we got to conserve what energy we have left." The vixen grins. "After we replenish our energy, we go looking for William and our missing shuttle."

Sera turned back to the vixens. "While we were going thru the upper atmosphere, I studied the data from the shuttle. That lighting strike fried the main conduit and the breakers from the core." She grins and shrugs. "I am glad I trained William how to use the emergency systems. So when we find the shuttle, we'll half to fly it here because I don't know the integrity of the structure."

Riku nodded as she felt the ship land on the planet's surface. "Sera, Joan, shut down all nonessential systems to save power. After that, take the emergency camouflage covering out of storage and cover the ship with it." The vixen grins as her orders are obeyed.

Minutes later, on top of the ship outside.

Sera panted as she and Joan pulled the netting over the curved structure of the ship. She remembered William telling her that the ship looked like a squashed Virginia class submarine. The collie noticed that Joan isn't panting like her, but she remembered the world Joan came from. The feral like vixen came from a world that the inhabitants had to work hard to live. Her friend and occasional partner of play had to hunt and kill for her meals. William told her of when Joan had to hunt for their meals and the events of her rescuing him from a group of rough human males. Sera remembered William shuddering of the details of how one slim vixen killing five large human males with only a bronze knife. "At first I thought Riku was the most dangerous female I meet till Joan rescued me." The collie remembered William telling her one day.

A shout has gotten their attention from the ground revealing Riku on the ground looking up at them. "I am going to get ten pounds of minerals so we can start refining it." The vixen shouted up at them shouldering a pack.

Sera nodded and watched as Riku walked down the trail flipping her black tipped white tail. The collie watched as Joan pulled more on the net covering up the ship.

At the mineral dig, ninety minutes later.

Riku pulled out a large rock examining the mineral. She placed the tester against studying the readings and grinned. "Find one more like this one and I'll have the ship operating all systems in three days." The vixen places the rock in her pack and resumes digging in the ground.

The ship, three hours later.

Riku walked up to ship shouting. "Sera, Joan, I got a good batch, I'll start the refining it. In three days, all systems will be up and running. This site has enough for us to get to the next galaxy." She seem puzzled at the sight of Sera and Joan just standing at the ship entrance staring at her. "What's wrong?"

A male voice with a southern drawl responded with in the ship. "Oh nothing is wrong canine. I just happen to see you land and decided to investigate. So, who are you canines?" As a male jaguar walked out of the ship with a hand gun pointing at Sera keeping Joan at bay. "I did a guess seeing that she's the most dangerous of the both them."

Joan glared at the feline. "Sorry Riku, he just sneaked on board while we were stowing stuff. Our feline friend is named Steele, a member of the S.K. military."

Steele grinned showing his lethal feline teeth. "Come on board Riku, we have to talk. These gals told me of your power difficulties, so start fixing your problem so that we won't be in the dark. While doing your repairs, I'll tell you gals of what's going on here."

Riku growled and walked on board following Steele and her crew mates. "I half to get more minerals to keep the power levels up."

The feline chuckled holding a large box with an antenna. "Aw don't worry my canine friend; I've called some friends of mine to come over to assist me. We're going to have some company joining us soon."

Ten weeks later, an air defense base.

William walked around the sleek light green fighter checking it over. The human looked at the painting on the nose of a reddish brown vixen with long red head hair in a two piece bikini. It looked like Joan with long head hair. He patted the painting wondering where the three female canines are at now. "They must have left to another planet." William thought to himself as he finished his walk around.

The training was hard and physical with lots of class time. The human has a more muscular build and looks way more different than when he first crashed on this planet. William is sporting a shorter hair cut and the rank of first LT.

A black female domestic cat walked up to him returning Williams' salute. "We have a scramble, a flight of Southerners are heading over here. You know what to do LT..." Replied Jane looking at him with her silver colored eyes.

William nodded as a group of felines walked up to the fighter topping off the fuel tanks and feed ammo belts in the wings. He grinned to himself watching as a tan colored feline operated a hand pump on the fuel cart to refuel his fighter.

A Southern fighter flying north, hours later.

Joan squirmed herself in the harness looking out of the bubble canopy. The vixen loved the craft she's flying now. She remembered pictures of old fighter craft on Williams' I pod device. One picture has a fighter having the same lines as this one. "The P-51D Mustang is the closest one in looks of this fighter." Joan thought to herself listening to the deep rumble of the V-twelve engine in front of her.

Riku and Sera are working with Steele in finding the missing shuttle. Joan volunteered to join the fighter corps when she first saw the sleek fighters parked at the base the ship eventually landed at. Right now the ship is parked in a large hanger under guard all the time. The vixen enjoyed the training at the base to learn to fly the fighter she's flying now. She really enjoys flying this wondrous machine, but Riku says it's crude. But Joan loves the fighter, but she has to counteract the torque of the engine on take off by moving the stick aside to keep a wing tip from touching the runway. The vixen growled in her oxygen mask as she saw a bunch of light green shapes flew toward her friends.

Williams' fighter.

The human squirmed in his harness as he saw the silver colored fighters. "P-51D Mustangs or rebel fighters." William thought to himself feeling the odd area at the seat where it was plugged. The seat was designed for a being with tail, but the seat was changed to facilitate a human without a tail.

Shans' voice came on the radio circuit. "All fighters get ready for action. A flight of rebels is heading for us. LT. William, form on me."

William moved his controls and moved close to Shan's fighter. He saw the rebel fighters swarm to his squadron.

Joan's' fighter.

The vixen grinned as the Northern fighters scattered in different directions. She turned to two fighters flying in formation and attacked the lead fighter. Joan did a wild fox yell as one of the fighters caught on fire and dove out of sight. "You're mine Yankee!" The vixen shouted as she maneuvered to draw a bead on the other fighter chuckling at the slur she shouted remembering William telling her of the civil war the United States was involved in over a hundred years ago.

Williams' fighter.

"Dam, that dam rebel." William shouted as he avoided the gun fire from the Southern fighter. For some reason, the other fighter stayed on his tail and he saw Shan's' chute opened. The human breathed a sigh of relief knowing that his squadron leader is safe. He looked in his review mirror seeing the silver colored fighter chasing him firing its guns. No matter what tricks he pulled, he couldn't shake his pursuer. William tried slowing his fighter, but the rebel did the same thing. The human had one trick up his sleeve; he kicked his left rudder pedal and left sticks cutting power to his engine extending the flaps. His fighter did a sharp left pivot giving him a view of the sleek silver fighter giving him a few seconds to fire his guns. The bullets only hit the fighter three times in the rudder area doing only slight damage to the rebel fighter.

The human cussed as the rebel fighter dove to the ground out of sight. He cussed as he noted that the fight was basically over. William saw a few friend lies and flew toward them. "Shit!!" The human yelled as the rebel fighter flew right at him and banked so that it is flying in formation with him.

Joan's fighter.

Joan glared at the Northern fighter flying next to her. The vixen noted that it's an interceptor that the North flies. She looked at its light green coloring and gazed at the nose art and chuckled to herself. "Well, well, it's William, the kit has teeth. I better get out of here and tell Riku about this." Joan said to herself saluting the fighter and flew away fast.

Williams' fighter.

The human gazed at the silver fighter seeing the pilot looking at him. He noted that the oxygen mask seemed larger. William saw the pilot wave at him and did a military salute making the fighter diving away fast. The human shrugged and rejoined his squadron.

Southern fighter base hours later.

Riku watched as a flight of fighters landed on the runway. Her tail twitched as she saw Joan's fighter landed with holes in the rudder. The vixen watched as the short reddish brown vixen exited the fighter examining the damage. "Oh I like to get my hands on the Yankee who did this."

Joan examined the damage to her fighter looking at the holes on the control surface. She saw the young male tiger doing a close examination calculating the materials needed to do the repairs. The vixen heard a yell turning seeing Riku running up to her.

"Who did this to you!?" Riku shouted the question over the loud sounds of the V-12 engines as the other fighters landed and taxing to their hardstands. The vixen noted Joan's' look confusion at her.

The vixen sighed at Riku. "It was William; he is flying for the North. I know it is him because of the nose art on his plane." Joan grins at Rikus' anger changing to confusion. "He has a painting of me in a two piece swimsuit with long red head hair."

Riku remained silent looking at Joan shaking her head. She looked closer at the feral like vixen picturing her with long head hair wearing a bikini. "Ok, if he's over Southern territory, shot him down. I think it's the only way we can get him back, I'll tell Steele about this. He has his spies looking for the shuttle, this world doesn't have the resources to build us a new one and the ship doesn't have enough spares to fabricate one."

Same air base night time.

Joan stepped out of the shower and stood under a heated fan to dry her pelt. The vixen grabbed the bar near her and sighed to herself thinking. She has some strong feelings for William, but she tried to kill him earlier today. "Why, why are you flying for the North my love? According to Steele, they became corrupted by taking away some of the citizens rights. That's why the South succeeded from them, the North started this war. Oh I hope we get our shuttle back and you so we can get off this planet." She thought to herself hearing the door opening.

Sera and Riku walked in the washroom hearing the heated fan running. The collie and artic vixen looked at the layout of the washroom examining the stainless steel fixtures with curiosity. "Crude and antiquated, I rather use the ships' facilities than here. Who knows what you might catch using these fixtures." Riku blurted out seeing Joan appearing from one of the drying booths.

"This place is a lot cleaner than a river bank I normally use." Joan replied tying a dark green towel around her medium size breasts looking at her two friends.

Riku grinned at her subordinate. "I got some good news; Steele has found the shuttle with one of his contacts. His contact is a male lynx who works at a civilian firm that studies extraterrestrial artifacts." The artic vixen chuckles at the pun she just said. "Sera is going with Steele to get our shuttle back hopefully with the other stuff William had with him. From what I've been hearing, I would rather have the South win this time instead of the North. I don't want these Yankees' arming themselves with our sidearms, but that will be impossible with their technology level at this current time." She said looking over to Sera

Joan nodded and sighed. "Let me guess, my orders are still the same regarding William."

Riku nodded stroking Joan's' muzzle. "Yes, my orders still stand regarding him. Just make sure he's over Southern territory when you engage him." She saw Joan's' questioning look. "No, I am not going to use the ship to get him back. That unknown ship stealing power from us and the shuttle crashing in enemy territory has caused this planet some damage that we can't undo. This planets' destined course has been altered because they have been exposed to extraterrestrials and their technology." The artic vixen walked out of the washroom being followed by Sera.

Joan shrugged and put on her clothing. She walked out of the building looking at the fighters parked at spaced far apart. The vixen knew the reason was in case of an aerial attack so it will take multiple strafing runs to destroy all the fighters. Sighing to herself, Joan thought. "What's William is doing at the current moment."

Northern air base.

William stood outside looking at the night sky. He looked hard for a certain object to streak by in the night sky. "They must have left me. Riku must have no choice but to look for another source. Are they going to come back for me or not." The human thought to himself continuing to look in the sky.

The next night, a secret Northern hanger.

Two figures slipped thru a hole in the fence surrounding the hanger. One of the figures looked at the hanger seeing a few guards walking around. The other tapped the one on the shoulder whispering. "Sera, we'll use that side door to get in. My contact has disabled the alarm and left the door unlocked. Your shuttle is parked in the middle of the hanger." Steele said to the collie.

Sera nodded and followed the jaguar to a side door following him inside. She slipped on her night vision glasses following the feline in the dark. The collie remained silent as she followed the jaguar noting that his black colored coat made him almost invisible in the dark.

Steele turned to the canine giving the gesture to stop. He nodded when the canine stopped and remained still. The feline watched as a couple of civilians walked passed the passage they're hiding in.

A few minutes later they approached the hanger bay giving them their first view of the shuttle. Sera examined it seeing that the mechanism that deploys the emergency wings is bent making it impossible to stow. The RAT (ram air turbine) was torn off and is now lying on a bench. "Well, it doesn't look to bad. I hope that these Yankees didn't take the instrument panel apart." The collie said in a whisper shouldering the pack that has all the tools and parts to repair the propulsion systems to the shuttle.

Steele nodded examining the shuttle shouldering his pack that has the necessary refined minerals to refuel the shuttles' depleted power core. "Let's go and check the inside out and start the repairs." He said looking around.

"Grab the RAT, plus any pieces while I fix the propulsion systems." Sera whispered as she entered the shuttle. The collie stopped in the middle and pulled opened a compartment examining the conduits. As she expected they were fried. "That must have been a powerful strike to bring down the shuttle. This design is robust enough to take a very high current charge going thru it." Sera thought to herself as she started the repairs.

Steele walked around the shuttle picking off pieces and placing them in a bag. The feline went to another bench picking up a device that looked like a handgun and a very small walkie talkie. He also put those items in his bag. He did another walk around and entered the shuttle.

Inside the shuttle Sera heard the feline walking in. "Hit that red button near the door. It will lock us from the outside, plus hand me the minerals." The collie said to the feline and accepted the minerals.

"I thought this craft has no power." The feline said in a puzzled tone.

Sera grinned. "I just got some systems working. It will take another five minutes before I get the auxiliary engines going. The ones that would have made us achieved orbit would take another few hours to fix. So, I am just getting it fix enough so we can fly it to your base."

Steele nodded in agreement watching the collie get back inside the compartment to finish the repairs. He walked to the door pressing the red button to close the door locking it. The jaguar sighed sitting on a seat admiring how comfortable it is. The occasional cuss came from the compartment as Sera repaired the systems. Steele looked over to the cockpit area watching as panels lit up. He heard a thrumming noise and the panel shutting.

Sera walked passed him sitting at the pilots seat. The collie activated the cloaking device and flipped a switch on the panel. She grinned as the hanger doors opened due to the shuttle sending a signal making a relay close activating the motor that opens the hanger doors.

Steele chuckled seeing some northern soldiers looking at the opened hanger. He grabbed the arm rest as the shuttle moved pinning him to the seat. The feline heard the collie cuss as she rotated a knob and the force on him lessens.

"Ok, next stop your base. Steele, hand me that other bag please." Sera turned to him and accepted the bag. "You won't be able to copy those devices for another two hundred years."

Steele sighed looking out of the forward window as the shuttle flew to his base.

A couple of days later, the Southern base.

Joan checked her fighter over in a good mood. She grinned as she remembered the conversation with Riku and Sera. The shuttle will be one hundred percent repaired tomorrow and all what is left to get William back and they can resume their voyage back to their galaxy. Right now, Riku is modifying the exterior sensors on the ship so that if another ship attaches itself to them an alarm would go off. A shout has gotten her attention causing her to look down.

Standing near her fighter is her crew chief the young male tiger holding a package. "I just got it LT..." He said holding the package out.

The vixen jumped on to the ground walking up to the feline. She accepted the package opening it. Inside was a red hair mass with a couple pieces of cloth. "Thank you SGT..." Joan replied and grinned at the feline.

The tiger looked at her with a puzzled expression. "What are those for?" He asked.

Joan smiled. "A costume for me to wear when I see a friend of mine. Hopefully, I'll be seeing him soon." The vixen answered looking to the North.

Two days later, Northern fighter flying south.

William seemed drained, but he blamed it on the lack of sleep in the last couple of weeks. The human looked at the other two fighters flying with him in formation. From what he been hearing, the war is not going well for the North. Spare parts and recruitment is scarce. Civilians are sneaking to the South instead of joining the military for the North. Shan hasn't been issued a new fighter yet and his wing commander is not flying this mission. The cougar rebuffed his offer to use his fighter, but he was told in a few days he'll have one. Plus Shan told him this was just a simple scouting mission to see what the South is up to. William just yawned and looked at the other two fighters again.

"Rebels, rebels, at two o'clock." Said one of his wingmen.

The human looked and saw ten fighters heading toward them. Cold fear gripped his stomach as the silver colored fighters dove at them as birds of prey. "They might have speed, but we have maneuverability." William said on the com circuit as he went to arm his guns.

Joan's' fighter.

"Take out those two, the leader is mine." Joan said on the radio as she saw the familiar nose art on one fighter. The vixen grinned in her mask as she armed her guns. She knew that William is really deep in Southern territory and all what she has to do is shoot her lover down. Joan has spent almost three months without sex with a male and at the current moment she has a really bad itch between her legs. Neither Riku nor Sera can't get rid of that itch. She does have feelings for her superiors, but she prefers the real thing going in her vulva instead of plastic which feels so wrong.

Williams' fighter.

The human watched in horror as the two fighters with him were shoot down. He gripped his control and tried to get to the North, but one rebel fighter passed him cutting off his escape. William got on the rebels' tail and his finger hovered over the trigger. A wave of dizziness hit him and the rebel fighter did that pivot trick on him. The human felt bullets hit his fighter causing his engine to catch on fire.

Joan's' fighter.

The vixen knew that William was behind her and she expected bullets impacting her fighter. "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth. I don't know what a house is, but I heard William talking about them." Joan said doing the trick what William did a while back. She saw him looking at his flight instruments and she fired her guns. The vixen watched as Williams' fighter spun out of control in flames. "Get out, bale out." She said to herself and breathed a sigh of relief as a parachute opened. Joan turned a knob on a bracelet. "Riku, I got him. He baled out..." The vixen gave Riku the coordinates of where William baled out.

Minutes later on the ground.

William cussed as he got out of the harness and looked around. He saw the rebel fighter that just shoot him down. The human shrugged and started to walk north.

A familiar female voice with a Southern drawl replied. "Oh no you don't you Yankee. We went thru a lot to get you."

William turned around and saw Riku standing near him. "I thought you left me behind, oh man, I am so glad to see yoooouuuu....." A wave of dizziness struck him causing him to pass out.

Riku caught the human and started to drag him to the shuttle. She noticed that William seemed more grown up and harder in appearance. "What did they do to you?" The vixen asked the unconscious form as she let him down on the deck.

Minutes later, the shuttle still cloaked entered the ship. "Sera, get the gurney, we need to take William to medical, he's ill. I have a feeling if he wasn't ill; Joan would have had a harder time shooting him down." Riku said in her com device.

Unknown time later, medical bay.

William woke up seeing Sera looking at him with her hazel colored eyes. The collie smiled at him replying. "The diet in the North didn't agree with you William. You weren't getting a type of vitamin causing you to get really ill over a period of time. I gave you a few injections and you should be up and around tomorrow."

"Are we in space again, plus how long was I out?" The human asked the collie.

She grinned. "Yes we're in space heading to the next galaxy. You been out for five days, plus you missed the North surrendering. The south won this time and during the celebrations, we took off. As for how our visit affecting this planets destiny, maybe later on we'll see." Sera said to the human running a scanner over him. "Ok, I think you can see your next visitor." She said to William exiting the medical.

William eyes widen as Joan walked in wearing a two piece light blue colored bikini. The vixen somehow is sporting long red colored head hair. "Ok, you must have seen the nose art on my fighter."

Joan grinned climbing on to the bed straddling his hips and sat down on him. She bends over looking at him. "Yes, I did, plus I am the one who shoot you down. I did like the artwork, but I am sorry it has gotten destroyed."

William nodded admiring the vixen sitting on him. He can barely see the eight teats on her abdomen thru the grayish white fur and her vulva bulging thru the bikini bottom. The human saw the vixens' eyes opened wide as his penis grew hard.

The vixen removed her top and bottom. She removed Williams' garments exposing the humans' erect organ. Joan held the erect organ up lowering herself on to it feeling it entering her.

William feeling better kissed Joan on the muzzle stroking her body feeling her muscles twitching under her pelt. The human back his head away looking at her silver gray catlike eyes and hugged her noticing that she's wearing a wig. "Ok, I like the outfit, so you're future plans are wearing this ever time we make love?" He asked her grinning.

The vixen bends to him giving the human a lick. "I think that can be arranged, where did you learn that trick with you flew against me?"

The human grinned. "I went to a movie with a friend a few weeks before I ended up on this ship. The movie was called Red Tails about a fighter squadron in WW2. One of the pilots in the squadron saw a pilot do the same trick and I managed to perfect the maneuver a week before I ran in to you. It took me a few tries to get it right." William answered burying his face between Joan's' breasts smelling her musk scent.

Joan held Williams head looking at him and grinned. "It only took me a couple of tries to master that trick. I think the Southern fighters were pretty responsive." The vixen tightens the muscles in her vulva giving the humans' penis a tug.

William gasped in pleasure enjoying the feeling of sex with Joan. The entire time while being with the felines, the human never had sex with one of the female felines. "Well, maybe someday, we just might do a rematch. Sera told me of a place on their world where civilian and military pilots do a friendly duel in the skies." He said with a grin.

The vixen gently grasped the sides of the humans head looking him in the eye. "Alright, since you were technically ill when we last fought in the skies. I'll put this argument to rest till we arrive at Seras' world. When we arrive there, we'll do a rematch and see who the better pilot is." Joan strokes chin watching the humans' face contort with a yell. She grins feeling Williams' seed splash inside her and she gave him one last kiss watching him go asleep. "We shall see who the better warrior in the air is. I like the muscle mass you gain with the training." Joan said to the sleeping form putting back her outfit and looked William grinning. "I am glad we're back on our Voyage and you're back in my life." She walked out of medical to go back her duties on the ship.

A few days later in the mess decks.

The three canines and the human male talked to each other talking about what happen to them. Riku started the conversation of what happen to them after they landed with the Southern military taking them in custody and Joan volunteers to become a pilot. Sera talked about looking for the shuttle and the salvage mission in reacquiring it from a Northern base. William finished the conversation about what he went thru while in the North. During his tale, the human seem to blank out for a moment and he shook himself.

"Are you alright William?" Sera asked him with concern.

The human grinned. "I am ok; I guess I am still not fully recovered from that diet." He rebuffed Seras' demands in going back to medical.

Riku slammed a hand on the table making the utensils rattle. "You listen here kit; you're going to have Sera do an examination on you after the meal. The last thing I need is to have you suffer another spell while flying the shuttle causing another fiasco for us to straighten out."

William looked over to Joan who giving a warning look and he looked at the artic vixen who's glaring at him. "Alright, I think I might need another treatment. I just hate needles."

Riku grinned and laughed. "Ok, just bear the needles one more time. I think you just need a final treatment and things might be back to normal." She places a black furred hand on his causing the human to relax. "Just go to medical and get this over with."

The human nodded and looked over to Joan who seems more relaxed. He stood up and followed the collie out of the mess deck. "See you later." William said to the vixens.

Joan watched the human left and turned to Riku. "I hope he gets better."

Riku continued staring at the door. "So do I, we're months away from my world and they have more knowledge of human anatomy than Sera. She knows some, but in a worst case, we can put him in stasis."

The feral vixen looked at Riku in shock. But she knew that if it had to be, she would rather have spent time without William than see him possibility dying. "If we half to, I go with your decision." Joan said to the artic vixen seeing her relax a little.

"I hope he recovers because if we put him stasis, it will take a facility on my home world to revive him." Riku sighed looking at the feral vixen with a worried look.
