Planet Storm: Ch 1

Story by Tempest Wolf on SoFurry

Well, I've all ways wanted to start a story serious, and lately lots of things, people, and friends, have been inspiring. I know I'm good at English, yet I still doubt my skills in it. Anyhow, it took days of consent editing to spot tiny mistakes, and to try to use proper grammar. Not only that I took an extra step, and added some advanced English in it too. I'm not sure if I did this right, but I got a few good bits of commentary from friends. I hope the story is good, not to rushed, or too informative. Other then that I would love comments on it. I tired to make the main character of this serious realistic. Spoiled, arrogant, but most of all oblivious to his surroundings. I really want people to connect to him. I do wanna give shout outs to a friend of mine on FA. His name is Joe, and originally he was to star in this chapter though he seemed busy, so I kinda left him out. I might have him as a guest in future parts. For the moment I won't be expecting guest neither do I want. Anyhow, first chapter is pretty much to get to know the character, and after that I'll start getting to the yummy bits. Other then that go cheek out Joe on FA (http://www.furaffinity.net/user/firestarterwolf/). Ask for a commission and stuff. Not to mention I all so wanna thank him for the designs of Ignis that I commissioned from him. (Commissioned Image http://www.sofurry.com/view/357189) Anyhow, enjoy and comment.

The smell of absolution and grace enveloped the air of the white stained walls with paintings of silver branches and white snow. Rows of waxed benches lined up horizontality as an unknown figure made its way through the middle of the rows. Slowly and vividly did the intruders' footsteps echo over the chapel; carving its existence in to the holy walls imitating a stone falling in water, only through sound. Dressed in robes befitting a dessert journey, and draped in the sweat of labor. Whoever it was, approached the summit of the room and rose their head to speak.  "AD.3012, one of sinful birth shall come to the city of water, and lead a rebellion to war. He shall be used as a tool of war and perish with the others. Ad.2013, war shall ensnare those who would seize glory leading to a sorrowful end. The world will find prosperity..." Spook the figure with a light and featherless voice that befits an angle, rather than a commoner without a voice.  "Revaluated Ad.3012, one other, bond by the strings of friendship shall arrive; in the land of rebellion, and thy shall prevent The Fall while gaining aid." The ear pleasing voice illuminated the halls the slim figure hearing its own loud echoes, but not so loud for one to hear then oneself. Continuing on with the angelic prophecy, he or she had removed a red stone glittered in crimson red from within those tattered robes. Gentle palms peacefully rubbed and carved the stones smooth and warm surface feeling its marble texture while bringing a smile to those barely visible unseen pale lips.  "By strength of heart shall they prevail, but if thou shall not gain trust and strength of heart, then..." A sudden silence would sting the air as it awaited an answer. The unknown intruder sadden by their own words would take a small glimpse of a stone taking in its appearances.  The flames within showing the image of another to those eyes of silver blue, "man of sky enveloped in the scars of yesterday. Forgive me for letting you..." as she or he entered the final phrases of their foretelling, those caring palms dropping the stone from her or his palms and cried out, "...fall."  With that, the stone of ivory flames fell, and scattered its remains over the holy marvel floors of gods' domain.  The flames released and vanishing as if were phantoms. "Friends, children, and countrymen, forgive me for being too weak...grant me thy wish and bring me aid, for a time better then today." The figure would clench its fist, and turn towards the light at the end of the cathedral. The hints of somber from the broken stone created a pleasant atmosphere for relaxation, as well as a scent to guide those who needed guidance. The figure awaited someone, someone willing to give that guidance, and as such the mysteries man or women clapped their palms together. Casting away a prayer to whom it reached. Calling froth the storm with a shield strong enough to repel its daggers of hail, winds of destruction, and monsters of aqua.  "Please...forgive me...I was weak." were the final words that escaped in to this isolated home before the steps of another entered the building.

The stinging rays of the sun's evil rays of heat shined down upon the land of dust; water far gone from these areas as mysteries cloaked figures scurried through the sad. They each wore the same cloaks, shoes, and anything else they might have been caring.  All were evenly around the same height expect one sole figure. He was at least a foot smaller than the others around him, and was clearly ready to burst from the deadly heat. Finally he could no longer continue walking through the grains of orange sands only to find more hills orange sands ahead.  "Damn it, I"M FREAKING HOT! When are we going to get there I'm starving?!" Planet Storm I could no longer contain myself, my balls were rubbing me the wrong way, I smelled of horse butt, and it was orange everywhere!  Sure I loved the heat and all but this was just way too much! I'd not complain about the heat, was I surrounded by lovely women of course, but soldiers were not my thing!  "God, I want out of this desert!" I shouted in frustration and agony throwing my arms up! "Of all the places we had to head to, it had to be a desert! It could not be a forest! I mean com- "  "Shut up!" A voice would shout from the front of the many clocked figures. The dominate voice cutting me off.  It was a strong and as well as being deep feminine voice that still contained its beauty. All most as if it was an uber buff swan. The figure turned removing her hood exposing her long strings of black hair thin as needles, soft as feathers, and beautiful as a swans feathers. The men around me gasped at her sudden outbreak taking the time they had to back away. I tilted my head pulling back my hood too look her eye to eye. My hazel golden eye verses her silver blue once. Unlike her, my hair was black, spiky, and awesome! The heat rays of the sun reflecting of my sweaty black fur with a golden underbelly. "If I don't , what are you going to do about it...?" I responded to her previous order with a very intimidating tone. "So, what you going to do about it, boomzila?" A chuckle escaped my maw as I raised my, wrapped up, arms over the back of my head snickering to myself waiting to see her reaction. Her silver furred figure only physical reaction was moving her right arm up to her waist, and raising her small oval shaped glasses. I won't say she wasn't hot big breasts, good body, she even had a good face, but she was a LOT older than me. Not to mention she was bossy and naggy. The others behind me were whispering about how stupid I was for making such a remark to the instructor of the squad, I was so unlucky enough to be placed. I didn't even ask to be evolved in fathers famous Zero Squadron.  "Well, if you must know young Ignis I'm a C-Cup, and as for punishment I should ask you to become the prostitute of are men. Luckily for you I'm in a good bloom, and have found that other matters would be more productive for that fowl mouth of yours." She replied to my comment only before returning to walking the dusty plains. A growl formed in my maw crying for escape.  "Don't you have the slightest bit of pride!?" I'd shout towards boobzilla, her respond being. "None that would be so weak to bend for pitiful insults like yours." By then, I'd had enough of her, and I stepped forward to start a fight. All though, the men behind me grabbed me by the maw to keep me from provoking her anymore then need be. Only muffled words of anger escaping from me each baring a comment about either her ass or breasts, and it might have been wise to have stopped me from saying them. For one was of how her body was the only reason my father made her an instructor... The rest of the trip went in silence wither I wanted it or not. If I showed even the slightest lip movement the men shut me up with either kicks...or tape.... and not the fur friendly one either. That one was the worse. It was about an hour before night hit the desert. I was ready to call it quits and just set up camp for the night. Although the instructor, who'd I'd been dying to give my come back. Nina was her name .Had ordered all of us to continue without rest. 'Must have been are punishment." I would think to myself sighing sadly. I'd hated being dragged in to this.  Attempting to remember why father had sent me with these people for a mission, yet I wanted to stray from such a thought. The memory was unpleasant, and I feared of what my words must have sounded back then.  Closing my eyes for a moment a deep breath escaped my tired and dusty lungs aiming to warm my shivering paws. It was then when I heard father's voice once again.  "Ignis, do you know who ION is?" I'd remember how ignorant I'd been and feel like an idiot. It wasn't my fault I didn't know who he was. It didn't have anything to do with me. It wasn't my fault!  "The name stands for, International Overseer of Nations; it's his job to make sure peace is sustained." His voice would flood my subconscious only giving me a headache.  A flashback of him sitting on his desk with a warm smile, thinking he understood me. The sunlight breaking through the currents of his study making it difficult to see his face, as if I'd want to, ha! It had pissed me off!  "Arrgghh, shut up all ready!" I'd grunt, placing my palms over my ears trying to block off the flashback. After fighting it, I'd succeed in blocking off the thought, finally giving me the peace I so helplessly wanted.  With the silence in the air, I had time to reflect on what I knew, rather than on my dad. Aquadia, the city we all headed towards, was an overlarge city located in the Ariel continent in my home world, Lavi. It was all so known as the largest continent in are world according to my brother. Lavi; was consisted of 5 major continents, Ariel,   Artaxerxes , Shi, Seaghdha, and finally Leandra. Didn't know much about them, but I guess trying to analyze them at the moment would do me good. Ariel: was nothing more but a wasteland filled with exotic animals and a few cities that normally focus its studies on water. I didn't remember its capitol, yet I knew it was considered extremely beautiful for some reason. I don't think I'll understand unless I saw it for myself.  Artaxerxes: was grassland filled with plains and herbs. It was rarely known to do anything because of all the peace treaties signed with it. After all, they made most of the medical breakthroughs known today. When war would break out they would normally send medical troops to both side, and try to bring the others to a state of peace. Ion, lived there along with my father and mother. I'd only arrived shortly in to Ariel since departing from Artaxerxes. The capitol, Aria; was considered the center of religion business and believes, so cathedrals were just everywhere!  Never did find a nice tree or even a garden to play in as a pup outside or inside. Nearly all belong to those blasted cathedrals. Shi: from what I knew about, was all mountains, inhabited by the proud gryphones ,hawk, and raven, people. It was rare they ever caused problems outside their continent mainly because civil war was just controlling the land. Last I'd heard about it, the continent empire had split in three because of its civil war.  I think I can relate and understand why; it had little land being known as the smallest continent. Meaning food, homes, and even breathing must have been hard. Seaghdha: Now that was a great place, it was known as the resort continent by, just about everyone! Beaches, Casinos, and even amusement parks, they say the government even makes its own casinos to get money for war fair. I'd visited Seaghdha many times already. It was originally believed that the hawks now living in Shi were kicked out from there, but no proof was every really found. Leandra: the last continent I knew about. It was under exploration, and was supposed to be inhabitable for some reason.  No sooner did all four empires call it, The Land of Fire. Why? Well if you were to look outward towards the West, were you on the Artaxerxes, you'd see a bright red light come from Lendra's way. Leading people, like me, too think it was just a large rock of lava. Only Ion and my father would know. After all, they had been allowed to enter...without me... A snarl formed over my maw as I thought about, and it only made me worsen my mood. Everyone had to be agents me, Ion, father, mother, Nina, everyone! No one ever let me do what I wanted, no one ever tried to teach me, and no one ever gave me respect! Unable to hold back such emotion I looked towards the walking group and whispered. "Who needs you anyway..."  Turning away, I sat down thinking first of myself then of others. Lendra's light shined brightly from where I sat, and it was all most painful to look at. As I sat there on that dusty trail I repeated to myself. "I'm as constant as the Northern Star, I am as stiff as Mt.Olympus, I am ever forward like the river." It really didn't matter how long I sat there for the rest of the group had actually finally set down camp and began to make food, drink mead, and even sing. Turning away from Leadra's light I only growled at the sight. "Nina..." I'd grow loudly as I saw the group having fun. She'd done it on purpose. "That loosely two-timing son of a bitch!" "Ignis..." my father's voice echoed through my mind. Making me lose my trail of thought "You should say goodbye to your brother. He will be leaving very soon. He has been chosen for great things other than a general of are Order of Lavi." Those words stung, stung worse than the stringer of a bee, bee's that would no sooner shrivel up and die protecting what they loved.  "General of Special Ops, Ventus Gunner..." my voice spook in hush tone.  Mainly due to the fact I was thirsty, and most of my water had been dappled from the trip. I would turn to look at my surroundings, sand, sand, more sand, all coated in ebony black. It would be my stomach that would finally make me come to my realization. Placing my young and dirty paws over my tummy I sighed. "Damn it all..." Looking down at the sand I'd see a familiar shadow walking towards me. "What do you want, Nina? Here to mock me, or maybe just call me a spoiled brat." I'd say with a bit of pity, and that seemed too had provoked her or something. No sooner did she punch me behind the head. A loud thump echoing from how hard her fist clashed agents my skull. I'd turn to look at her with a bit of tears begging for escape, but she was already on the dusty hill I sat on. "Stop dampening the mode all ready. It does not befit someone of your character." Her voice echoed its cold and bitter tone, but unlike the many times she spoken. It held a shine of warmth and compassion. "I'm not arrogant enough to understand what's bothering you, but don't get down and moody because of what life has thrown at you. I've said it enough times for you to understand, and I say it again as your teacher and your guardian. A solider is one who steals such emotions, and replaces it with a strong will. A will strong enough to repel the chaos, so instead of fearing it we crush it with that will. If you're unwilling to even look at the chaos in front of you, then you will die in this pit of a dessert." Her words were sharp as a knife, and really did cut in to my heart, yet they encouraged me in a strange way. It was odd. Standing up I taking the sight of her, I spook. "Stop ordering me around boobzillia! Jeez, can't you tell I'm just a little home sick. Stopping boobing in to others personal affairs, or are you such a pedophile you want me in bed!?" I'd laugh before running towards the camp to get something to eat. Leaving Nina alone to overlook my grand escape towards camp. Where food and a well-deserved sleep awaited my presence As she sat there she pulled down her hood, and placed her rapier on her laps, a sigh of relief leaving her own lungs. "What an unusual pup, I'd never imaged I'd get the luxury to teach the arrogant brat, but...he is my arrogant brat after all. If no one cares for him...who will?" She smiled taking the pace of the night to her advantage. Understanding the words spoken by him momentarily held their 'thank you'.    *********************************************************************

"Ad.3012, in land of Arial the will of the flames of impatience's dies, and thus leaving forward grains of ash.  This child shall be of black hair and golden eyes." A figure would write in his journal a smile upon his lips. The pen used for the writing infused with an unnatural black ink. "Revaluated Ad.3012, fire shall be put out in lands of water, but no sooner be re-lit by another flame. A flame distance to Lavi, he shall be a man of bounds with fur of orange..." The young man wrote, unlike before this was written down with an unnatural red ink. Ink that shined of crimson and smelled strong and thickly of springs musk. The figure hidden in the darkness of his room would smile looking out from his window, knowing full well what he expected to see. It was dark, pitch black, but there he was. A proud canine, walking in to the  abyss otherwise known as the Arial desert, unaware of where he himself was heading, but guided by faith. The figure that watched the other, would return to his bed, and put his journal on the cheap wooden desk. Returning to the bed he was written in to. Coughing slightly, he'd pull up the sheets and smile again. "Forgive me for being weak everyone...I'm sorry."

********************************************************************** Part 1: "The Mist in One's Worlds." "The Truth is elusive, and can never be written." The night had passed by, and this time...it went by well. I ate happily for the first time in a while. The darken sands seemed active with a great amount of energy to waste. Its energy out matching Lavi's darkening skies. Food and drink reminding me of mothers cooking even her smile and laughter illuminated my ears, but most of all it reminded me of brother. How he was all way's lost in his books, being teased on for being smart, and best of all for his cheesy jokes. I'd never thought I could reminisce   with these memories. At least, as long as I knew the truth I could never. The truth of mothers divorce with father. This in return was only to be followed up with brothers' departure.  Ever since they left, it only hurt to remember. Now, their memory brought warm to my cold shell of a body. "Mama...brother..." I would hear my drooling mouth snore out. It took me awhile to finally regain conscience as I opened my eyes to the dim light inside the enclosed area. Letting out a few grunts I'd turn to stuff my face in to the pillow I'd been sleeping in. Using it to block out the light and try to gain more sleep. After all my hopes to regain sleep failed. I sigh getting up realizing an important fact. I didn't recall ever finding my tent, or even heading to bed. Not only that I'd been undressed and given a pretty decent tent from the looks of it. By decent I meant waking up sweaty, hot, and stinky, while in your boxers. I guessed someone after my whole attitude problem the other day still had enough like to put me to sleep.  My own chuckle broke the winds blowing silently outside the worn fabric of the tent. "Wow, a 16 year old boy like me still needing someone to put me to sleep." Shrugging for a moment I'd fall back on to the semi-hard floor, and slam my head agents the pillow. Placing my arms over behind my head only to clench my face, and put them back down. "Damn...first thing I do when I get to a city is TAKE.A.BATH. I smell worse than when Vens' puberty struck." Shivering a bit I'd again chuckle finally taking the time to analyze my surroundings. Other than a wooden cheap desk with organized papers and a large full body mirror accompanying it. I guessed that was all. It was odd really. I didn't expect for the regular tents to be so, large. I knew it was not right to be noisy, but I wondered what the papers were. It didn't take a moment's notice before curiosity got to me, and I found myself over the desk examining the papers. A few of them were maps of the regions of the world, and bit of the rest was the written orders that all of us were given before leaving. A simple, "Please preform the task of looking in to why the citizens of area have become rebellious." Nothing that Squad Zero could not handle, but it made me wonder why of al Squads, Zero was chosen. This Squad was not like any of the others, and neither was our objectives hidden to the common people. There was a reason we were Zero, it's because of all the possibilities that targets had of escape, fighting, or even hiding from us. The percentage of success was all ways zero. Had I not been a part of the group and well aware of whom was inside it. I would still think that this group was just heartless soldiers. Strict maybe, though heartless was far from it, so far everyone seem to be casual when away from the instructor.  A shiver would go down my spine thinking how dangers they each might be in battle. Then again I was too. Young I might have been, but I found swordplay, if that's what my style was called, quite fun. I continued to search through the pile of organized papers vividly scanning them for any information about what Squad Zero's goals, or even whose tent this could be. A photo of them would be nice. I eventually stumbled in to a paper that had a seal broken it read simple details about what to do once arriving at town. The squad was to report to Aquadia's Order HQ, and meet up with ION's personal guards. The orders would make sense now. From what father told me. The Squad normally aided and protected Ion, and sometimes would even just bring food to him. Apparently lots of people wanted him dead from time to time, so they had to be cautions from time to time. The question that now remained was. Why was Ion's personal guard in Aquadia, and did it have to do something with the rebellion. I finally let out a sigh. Turning away from the papers making sure to place them the way I'd remembered them being. Didn't want to alert the person these belonged to that I'd gone nosing around. It was nice enough they got me in a nice bed without the thick clothing worn throughout my journey here. It was then when something hit me. I turned to the mirror. Taking the opportunity at hand to look myself over a sly smile appeared over my maw as I rubbed my chin. "Hm, I sure am developing in to a damn sexy man!" I'd say to myself chuckling and flexing for the mirror. Showing off my own manliness since no one was watching. I hadn't gotten the chance to look at myself since leaving home, and that was over a week ago. Plus bunking with other men really didn't get me in the mood to look at myself in the mirror. I flexed my arm, and rubbed the semi-hard bulge that appeared. As I admired myself for a good 10 minutes, forgetting that I was not in my own tent. I eventually heard voices outside of the tent, and blushed noticing that they were coming closer. I quickly made a dash for the make-shift bed, and plopped on it pretending to sleep. "So, you've been ordered to take him back to the capitol? I must admit, for someone such as you to come all the way out here. It exposes the position the pope must be in. Heh, quite the tight spot it must be, but on orders of His Grace I shall not allow it." A familiar thick and well trained feminine voice spook as the unknown female entered the tent. For that sort moment I blushed heavily and went back in to my imagination.  "By gods, a woman took me in to her tent, asleep, and I woke up in my boxers! God damn it! I lost my V-Card asleep! I can't believe this!" My thoughts raged on about my epic fail! No comment missing out on the info of me being laid and not even remembering it. "I see, very well, though I am sure if I begged enough you could allow me to at least accompany to Aquadia. You of all people should know these sands are dangerous. I'd hate to get eating by a worm. Not to mention that- Oh, is something the matter with the kid?" A sudden mature and pleasant male voice would speak as I was too occupied with wiggling around in shame. "Ignore the brat; he is most likely having a wet dream." The females voice spook again, and it was then that I realized who it had belonged to. Stopping my wiggling and whining I gulped picturing it. Nina...naked...on top of my sleeping body... It took all I had to remain calm, quiet, and totally in control. This was the instructors' tent, and it belongs to Nina, BOOBLIZIA! My mind could no longer hold back the nasty images of a reality; where I was knocked out and smexying with my officer! EWWW! NOOOO!! "I see, poor kid. Puberty is a killer so it must suck to be his age and in a hot desert." The male would chuckle and laugh full heartily as he spook with Nina. "Well then, shall I be able to accompany you to Aquadia, Mrs. Almedio?" "I told you to quit with that! Its miss you animal! Why do I get stuck with all the perverted freaks! I should castrate you for even bringing up the marriage proposal. I told you, I have no intention of becoming part of the royal family. I can barely deal with the brat as it is." Nina would shout irritated enough as she was. "Aw, come on think about it? You no longer have to dirty your hands, and you can settle down for once. I mean, you're talking about marring in too the royal aristocrats!  The Almedio family is even close to becoming the rulers of The Order." The conversation continued on and on my dirty thoughts finally died as I heard the name, Almedio. Only few had the last name Almedio, and even in other families. There were children with the last name Almedio. The name its self was a birth name like any other, but those who held it never stayed in the domain of their family. Because the family Head would never raise his children, instead; he'd dump them with their mothers and have them take care of them. Unless the child proofed to be of some skill and title, that man would never welcome them home again. "That is enough; I have no reason to marry in to the family. I'd rather stay as an instructor then join the remains of that once great family. Ever since the new Head took over the family, he only cares about which women would bare his offspring, and for what!? To just throw them away! If Kyle Almedio was still alive he would never have let such a thing happen." Nina sighed before dismissing the man away. As well as giving him permission to follow so long as he remained hidden from...me, it confused me, why would she not want me to meet him?  Seemed like my type of guy to hang with. Not much time passed after the man took his leave from the sounds of things. I tried to listen in on Nina. My mind wondering if she was okay or if she might be feeling a bit depressed. My answer was quick to come as I soon felt the weight of another near my make-shift bed. A rough yet soft paw creasing my head as it pleasantly scratched and fondled with my hair and head. It put me at ease as if it were a mother's touch.  Her paw simply rubbing my head as if she tried so desperately to show me compassion I knew nothing about. It was hard to stay eyes closed with heavy breathing. It went on for a while like this, her paw petting me, and myself being lost in the warmth of the moment. All thoughts about missions, location, or even temperature, just vanishing like fog on a sunny day. I expected her to speck, but she never did. Finally, she left the tent judging by the following sounds. I was alone again...

I took that time to inspect my surroundings just to make sure I was alone. After words I found my clothes and got dressed, placing the dusty clothes over my form. A sigh coming from my maw as I took in to consideration about the many things I'd called and thought of Nina. I wanted to apologize now, yet I could not bear to do it. I could not look her in the eyes and say that. Not after how arrogant and mean I'd been. Shaking my head along with those uncertain feelings that were blinded to my warm chest. Giving my cheeks a few slaps. "What am I saying? She knows everything about me." I'd smile, accepting one thing about everything that has happen. Though I might say rude and maybe cruel things from time to time inside those words are a whole different meaning. A meaning of apparition that only she could ever understand just as I now will understand the meaning behind her words. Smiling I overheard people outside the tent speaking about food, and right then and there. My tummy growled. Without a worry in the world I rushed out in to the burning world outside of the tent. Following the scent of food as it guided my hungry tummy to paradise.

After scarfing down on some fruit and packing up the tents, we headed out for Aquadia which, according to the others, was only a few hours away. "Men, as we march on to the city I must give the order to attack and kill if threaten. We march through the square in to Aquadia's Order HQ. " Nina emphasized her voice suddenly speaking to the lot of us. Not even looking at towards the rest of the group. As if it was to be expected. It must have been an average day order judging by everyone's reactions. "Wait, you're saying you're telling us to kill them? Can't we jus-" "Ignis if you're unwilling to kill a man then just huddle up at the center and shut up. I've no need to deal with your sentimental issues at the moment." Were the words that cut me off as the rest of them men followed her orders, and put me at the center without even letting me finish off sentence.  Grunting and unhappily following the orders I did as told. Seeing as I was in a good mood today cause of my great sleep. Just as the others had said, the city appeared before us. All though, it was not what I expected. For a city named after water in Latin. It lacked that prime ingredient, water.  It looked like ruins sinking in to a desert, and a stench far worse than a burning corpse looming over the area. The buildings eroded to such a condition that looking at them made you think they would collapse from a single touch. On Ninas' ordered we marched through the city. As hateful and silent stares penetrated us, never once looking away from are walk towards HQ. Those stares expressed and multiplied their hatred towards us. The feeling going down my spine made me feel evil, yet I never once harmed these people. All I did was look ahead, if all, I could was to avoid their eyes. It sounded like a good plan until I heard it. An ear pricing scream broke the silence as a man from a shop ran, and attempting to stab one of the Squads members. That in return singled for any of the other citizens around to do the same. Creating a large scale commotion that lunched everyone in to battle, yet I was to petrified by fear to continue.   Leaving me alone, to watch as the Squad members slaughter all of those who through their weapons at us. Taking a few steps back I gasped at the horror of it all as these individual people were killed before me. I hadn't realized it then, but my paw had slipped in to my paw. Grasping the hidden knife I kept to myself.  My frightful golden eyes focused on were those people, the blood. Eventually my back thumped in to something hard, and no sooner did my face turn pale from fear as I turned back to look at what I walked in to. "Die Order Scum!" was all I could hear. As I freed my paw of my pocket, suddenly jabbing the steel of my knife in to the kidney area of whoever was aiming to attack me. Eyes closed to avoid seeing the deed done. Once I'd reopen I would see the gasping fur. It was a young white furred feline who was slowly letting go of a kitchen knife. The edge of his own steel gray knife dyed in red once it slipped from his feline grips falling in to puddle of blood gushing from his abdominal.    I found myself buried under a dead man, who no longer breathed like me, me who could breathe from this day forward, forward and onward in to the future. A future where that man no longer existed. I stole his life.  Gasping and shivering under the weight of his bleeding corpse. I tried to scream but only found heavy panting leaving my throat. Tears were rolling down my cheek.  Those clear tears fusing with the cooling crimson blood over my limp body. Before I realized it...everything was becoming black.   Preview : "Know the weight of what it means to kill."
