He has an arsenal of conventional weapons, rune magic charms, and stolen artifacts that rival most private collections. He is a master of blackmail and theft. He has a moderate level of skill with hand to hand combat, and training with guns and blades.

Characteristics: A magical hitman by trade, Laporkra has earned a reputation for brutality. His enemies and associates have good cause to fear him. He is known to generally keep his word when it is given honestly, though he often lies to put targets at ease. Large and well muscled from his rather hard life.

Recently the city has seen a marked decrease in his activity. Rumours of cannibalism and necromancy follow him wherever he goes. He does nothing to correct these assumptions.

Origin: Laporkra was born to a common serving girl from an outlying village to the city he now dwells in. His father was a timber wolf hermit who abused the boy in his youth.

Lappy spent most of his free time as a child running about the foothills in which his father's abode rested. His mother fled and left him to his father's tyrannical rule when he was only ten.

Laporkra was forced to work both as a woodcutter and take over the duties his mother left behind.

Life continued like this for four more years until his father was arrested for sedition to the crown and Laporkra was forced to watch him hang. As his father kicked on the gallows, the wolf pup smiled and mouthed silently, "It was me."

His father tried to scream but the effort cause the noose to tighten and ended his life shortly after. Tongue black and eyes bulging, his father was tossed into a cart and he was burned as a traitor.

His home was seized by the crown, but Laporkra had already hidden everything of value in the surrounding mountains.

He lived off of these for months after travelling to the city, but soon found that his lack of skill and social standing were a death sentence within the city walls.

Lappy had taken to squatting in abandoned houses all over the city between dodging child catchers and stealing what he could.

He managed to find his way into a rather large house near the wealthy Gardens District that he was fond of, this he had decided was where he was going to die.

He sat inside the place alone for many months, living on the food stores and seldom venturing out until one day he was caught by the caretaker of this place, a tiny skunk named Cicero.

Laporkra didn't even bother trying to flee, he just drew the kitchen knife he found when he broke in and locked eyes with the man. To his surprise, the skunk smiled at him and drew a pistol.

He thought the man was going to kill him, and fulfil his wish. Cicero shot the knife from his paw and chambered another cartridge, while he waited for the youth to speak.

Laporkra sat back down on the floor and continued to eat the jar of preserves he had stolen, waiting for the man to finish him. He never did.

In fact, Cicero saw the boy's resolve and thought it a waste to kill him. So he gave the boy money and food, promising not to turn him in if they could talk once a week.

The two became friends, and Cicero's charity ignited a new fire for life in the wolf, causing him to work his way up throughout the criminal underworld of the city.

A few years later, he had established himself as the person to go to when you needed something stolen discreetly, no matter how dangerous the target.

On one such job he was hired by an Adept to steal the research notes of a rival student.

Thinking the job to be simple, Laporkra broke into the adept's quarters, only to find him present.

He attempted to complete his job, but was bested by the young arctic fox, and soon lay on the floor bleeding out.

The wolf's lack of fear piqued the adept's interest and he made Lappy a deal. "Your life can be spared this night if you wish. All I ask is that you serve me when I ask, at half your usual fee. And you tell me what it is you seek here."

Laporkra agreed, and as a token of his appreciation, tortured the man who hired him until he was unconscious and left him to die in a warehouse basement.

The adept he came to discover, was Lord Aikidu of House Ven.

He worked for Aiki off and on over the years, and always profited greatly from their arrangement. So much so, that he was able to buy a manor house and the services of his long time friend Cicero.

So when Laporkra heard of a raid on one of Aiki's business partners, he passed a warning along to the fox.

This warning enabled him to save Kiessu's life. Thus ensuring that they became friends soon afterwards.
