The Soren of White Wings by Lucian Canad

The fox was lying in the middle of a devastated field, panting heavily. His body was entirely covered in bruises and cuts and his muzzle had a severe cut that by the god's miracle left some muscle to keep his jaw connected to his skull. After forcing himself into a kneeling position, he gasped for breath and coughed a puddle of blood that trickled down his chest. His long blond hair was soaked due to an enormous cut on the back of his head.

He lifted his head and tried to make his one good eye focus on the scene before him. The terrains that came back to his memories were totally different from the ones his eyes told him. The evergreen mountains were now black and burnt; from the trees, always big and healthy, remained nothing but withered carcasses; the grassy ground was like coal, black and still burning, which made a perfect contrast with the sky, red and demoniac.

When, once again, energy left him, his body fell down and whacked in the ground. What the vulpine's darkening vision could make out next was his right forearm. His fur was flattened in a patch of about eight inches, he knew something was missing but his memory was getting faint. The only thing that his mind persisted in telling him was a name.

"Mule" His hoarse voice made out that name once again, that name that had no meaning for him.

Yet somehow, his mind told him to keep repeating that name. However, he was pulled out of his thoughts by something cold wrapping itself around his neck and lifting him off ground. Such strength made his breathing even more difficult; looking straight ahead, he saw the source of the cylindrical stone tentacles that held him. As the strange tentacle lifted him, his broken bones moved inside him, puncturing his muscles and making his pain even worse.

Those tentacles looked quite familiar, but, due to his very hurt condition, he couldn't remember anything. The tentacle's controller was merely a shadow in the soren's vision because of the various flame points behind him. A sudden movement drew his dim attention, the figure was drawing back one of the four tentacles and it was coming towards him...

Eros sat upright on his bed, gathering all his nerves to not scream in utter panic.

"Again that dream" he thought, gasping and feeling the beads of sweat run across his orange-red fur. The fox remained seated for a few minutes.

"Mule, are you there?" He asked to the empty room.

Soon, a calm and apparently sleepy voice answered in his mind.

"Yes, what's up?" the water Ra-Seru said, his tone slightly grumpy for the sudden awakening.

"I had that dream again" Eros responded looking to his right forearm where Mule was attached.

In his sight, he was an eight inches blue coral-like rock, with a white pearl attached to the middle.

"That one which I disappear, you look like you've had a one-on-one battle with Juggernaut and the world seems post-apocalyptical?"

"Yep, that's the one"

"Well, that's one week straight now" Mule said in a thoughtful voice. "I think Rem does want you to know something"

Eros sighed. The only known way for a mortal to know the words of Rem, god of time, was through Hari, and he supposedly died almost twenty years ago, when the underground shelter of Octam collapsed.

An idea crossed the half-working mind of the vulpine.

"Maybe after school I'll talk to Sashia"

Sashia, his sister, was a priestess of Rem who lived in the Town of Gizam, on the center of the Sebucus Islands.

"That's a good idea. Who better to tell you about Rem, than a priestess of his?" Mule agreed in his mind.

The fox decided to shake those thoughts from his head and focus on the day ahead.

Eros walked to his window and opened it, staring at the halo of light that began to appear on the horizon.

"Wow, it's almost dawning. I must change"

The fox turned around and reached for the doorknob of his bathroom and went inside. He turned on the shower and, while waiting for the water to warm, he relieved himself at the toilet. Two minutes later, he let the water cascade in his paw and nodded at the temperature. He undressed and stepped in.

After scrubbing his fur, his head and everything else, he stepped out and took a towel from the hanger. While drying all of his orange furcoat, Eros found himself wondering who the strange warrior from his dream was. Dry and ready, he walked out of the bathroom and took the set of robes from the chair near his bed. Dressing quickly, he stopped briefly to brush his hair at the mirror. While he was at it, he opened a small ivory box near the mirror and took two chains, one made of gold and the other of silver. He put them around his neck; these two chains were his most prized possessions: a Target and a Defender Chain. Two very expensive battle accessories who earned him the title of best fighter at school.

Eros looked at himself in the full size mirror. His school's uniform was normally just tan pants and a white shirt, both emblazoned with the Rikuroa Battle Academy crest, but, as the fox was member of the Ra-Council, his uniform was all that plus an full light blue robe that represented his element - Water. Each member of the council of the Academy wore Ra-Seru, which proved their strength, wisdom and power.

He walked out of his room and followed the corridor full of doors. Eros loved his house, an ancient castle said to have belonged to the kings of Karisto, long before they founded Conkram. His family found it and, with the fortune they owned, rebuilt it to call it home. Arriving in the dinner room, his father was reading the newspaper as usual.

"Hey Eros, good morning" His father, a pitch-black wolf, looked over the big banquet table.

"Morning, dad" Eros replied and took a chair next to him.

Some minutes after the fox started eating, his mom appeared from the corridor.

The vixen greeted the two males and kissed her husband on the lips and her son in the cheek. Eros looked to the sun clock in the wall and almost choked on a grape.

"I have to be on my way" He arose from the table and hugged his dad and mom. Eros then raced to the entrance hall and grabbed his Seru wings, hanging from the hooks near the main door.

After opening the heavy front door, Eros looked to the courtyard. It was made mostly of stone, but had a few gardens and fountains. Ahead of him, a strange mist-like cloud took the entire horizon. That didn't bothered the soren and he sped forward and plunged off the edge when the courtyard ended.

The young lad let himself fall freely for a few instants.

"After almost five years, I still enjoy doing this" He thought with a smirk on his face. Soon enough, he activated his wings, which extended to almost three feet each side, and caught a current to start flying away from his family's castle, that was floating around 2000 feet high in the sky. Eros smirked again, the anti-gravity magnetic field, made from complicated crystal reactions, was his invention.

After flying out of the permanent cloud formation that covered his home, which also his doing with some help from Mule, he saw the green fields below and had a quick flashback of his dream. This sent a shiver down his spine, but he shook the thought out of his head and concentrated on the flying. Ten minutes of pleasant soaring later, he saw his school on the horizon: the place was once a castle from some guy named Dohati, probably one of the "antagonists", because the place was dark and gloomy before the Academy was founded. From the simple design with only three towers, they had reformed a lot. Now, it had two buildings connected to the two secondary towers, behind it, a giant rock arena made by Kina and her Ra-Seru Palma.

Eros had two classes only during his period, but each one had two hours and a half. Strategies Theory was the first one, taught by Mr. Vahn and Combat Practice by Mr. Gala. Meta and Ozma, their Ra-Seru, along with Terra, owned by the Headmistress, were the most powerful Ra-Seru to exist in the land of Legaia. The fox landed in the narrow bridge that connected the island of the castle to the land and headed for class.

Entering the huge classroom that comprehended basically the entire east wing of the school, the soren found it half full, with his colleagues sitting and chattering about. He quickly located Kina and made his way to her. Kina was a beautiful blue-haired lemur, who Eros had the luck to be boyfriend of. She dressed exactly like Eros himself, but her robe was brown. When he neared her, she turned her head and smiled at him, Eros smiled back, he loved that smile.

"How are we feeling today? Dimensional?" He sat by her side and kissed her cheek.

Kina giggled at the feeble joke. Her normal Seru was an Iota, a Seru that could travel the wearer across dimensions, the only Seru transportation faster than Eros's wings.

"Everybody sit down" A voice echoed through the stadium-like classroom as Mr. Vahn entered. He was a handsome seven feet muscular beige stallion and was most girls's idea of a perfect date. On his left arm was the ruby-and-sapphire Meta, the Ra-Seru of Fire, making a very good match with his red robes. A funny fact was that he had short blue hair, just like Kina, so everybody playfully called her Mr. Vahn's daughter. They did so in the most friendly manner, though, because everybody knew better than to disrespect a counselor.

"Today we'll finish last class's combo strategy so please, open your notebooks and copy the rest of the list" His booming voice sounded again. He started to write on the blackboard a list of battle move combination they had started to copy on the previous class. After an hour or so, he began explaining the moves and their possible results and effects.

Even through almost three hours, the classes didn't ever get tiring and they were fully appreciated by everyone. The bell rang just in time he finished his explanation, everybody left and headed for the arena where the second class always took place. Gala, the grizzly bear that was wearing a marine blue sleeveless fighting suit, and Ozma covering his entire left forearm and fist was already waiting for them, and just when Eros and Kina were to greet him, an eagle descended from the skies and landed on the lemur's arm, raised it's leg and revealed a small piece of paper. Kina took it and sent the eagle away.

"Ra-Council, now. Cort says it's important" Eros nodded and they turned back and headed for the central tower.

They climbed the various sets of rolling stairs and reached the main chamber. The room where the Ra-Council always took place was made of circular amphitheater rows made in wood, with comfortable seats for every counselor, with a glass dome for a ceiling. Eros and Kina took their seats just in time the supreme chancellor, Cort, younger brother of the headmistress began to talk.

"Illustrious members of the Ra-Council, my brothers and sisters" the wolf began, raising the arm that supported his horned amethyst Ra-Seru "Jedo has felt a source of great danger around the school's immediate vicinity, so..."

Eros felt the Defender Chain tugging on his neck, telling him of the truth in the young wolf's words.

Cort was cut off his explanations by the sudden sound of shattered glass echoing through the room. Everybody ducked with the surprise and, when heads started to pop out of the wooden counters, the scene was amazing. Four enormous tentacles made of what seemed to be stone made four distinctive holes through the glass dome and latched themselves on the walls. Seconds after the tentacles' apparition, their owner burst through the remains of the dome. He wore a hood over his head and heavy black robes that made impossible to tell who it was. The stranger turned to the soren and tackled on one of the tentacles. Eros created an icy glow on his hand and grabbed it with ease. A thin layer of ice formed along the tentacle, till it disappeared into the attacker's back, making him arch his back and fall down on the floor, unconscious.

"Tetran Seru, controlled by the spine" He said to Kina, who was locking the figure in a crystal cage.

"A disabling pulse along the tentacles has direct access to the nervous system, I see" The lemur nodded.

After everybody settled down again, Cort, whose normal Seru was a Viguro, that gave him the appearance to be wearing a large dark purple leather jacket, gave a small pat on the back of the figure and the electric impulse made him awake. He tried to break free, but his arms and legs were covered in crystal and his Seru had been removed. Having him immobilized in the middle of the room, they all started to talk, trying to decide what should be done. After a few minutes, Eros raised his hand and everybody quieted down.

"The word to the counselor of Water, Eros Verial" Cort announced.

"Thanks. As it seems, this vandal was after me, so, humbly, I ask to the council to let me decide the sentence"

Everybody began whispering again, but the chancellor silenced them.

"Anybody against the decision? No?" Cort waited for someone's answer to break the graveyardly silence "Very well, Eros, you may decide"

The fox thought for a bit and declared:

"The sentence for invasion of private property, damage to the said property and direct unprovoked attack to a member of the Ra-Council can only be one. Death"

The atmosphere tensed up and everyone in the room looked awed to Eros.

"Yet, I must believe our prisoner had a good reason for his act, so to settle things down in a just way..." He stopped for a minute.

"Hmm, what is your name?" the fox asked the tied one. He shook back his hood and let his face to be seen, he was a rabbit of eastern lineage with short, black hair.

"My name is Satiel, Satiel von Theeder" His voice was deep and penetrating. His surname sort of rang a bell in Eros's mind, but he hadn't time to remember. He cleared his throat and stared at the lapin with eyes frostier than his magic abilities.

"So therefore, I challenge you, Satiel, to a combat for life and death"

After he finished, everybody gasped, this dark and cold side of the vulpine's personality was new to everyone, even and perhaps especially to Kina.

"You will have two hours to ready yourself, then send him down to the arena."

Eros, then, left the room, followed by the wide eyes of his fellow councilmen. While he was descending the tower, Mule spoke to his mind.

"Eros, have you imagined this can be the element from your dream?"

"I don't imagine. I know it. That is why I will fight him, cut the evil by the root"

"I don't quite agree to your judgment, but I'm always with with you"

"Thanks my friend"

Given the two hours, Eros stepped on the arena and the crowd cheered him. Instants later, Satiel also entered, with his Seru back on. As the contestants took their places on opposite sides of the arena, Gala, who was the official judge of the Academy, announced:

"Now begins the fight that shall decide the sentence of a prisoner. On one side, our own counselor of water and the challenger. Eros Verial!"

The crowd erupted in cheers again. The bear continued.

"And on the other side, the said prisoner, a black horse of unknown potential. Satiel von Theeder!"

A few cheers echoed from a particular corner of the stands. Few dared to stand against a counselor, but they still existed.

The fighters walked towards the center of the arena, where the judge met them.

"Now, as challenger, Eros, you have the right of choosing the arena. What will it be?"

"A grassy field, on a night of full moon" He replied, already with a battle strategy in mind.

"Alright, field on a full moon" the grizzly bear bellowed. Kina, sitting on the stands, was waiting for this. She stood up and concentrated. The purple rock with a small red gem covering her whole right arm glowed, making an enormous dome materialize over the school arena. Those inside of it had their vision obscured for a minute then found themselves on a large grassy plain, with the moon glowing above them.

"At the sign, you may start." Gala said to the two and then drew back, sitting on a chair lifesaver-styled. Eros flexed his muscles and calmed his mind. He had the feeling he would need it. A sudden lightning crossed the night sky, that was the sign. The rabbit didn't waste any time, he extended his Seru tentacles fully then tried to sweep Eros out of his feet. It sort of worked, the soren was now plaining eight feet above.

Satiel launched another tentacle, but Eros avoided it and lunged forward attempting to hit his opponent, but the lapin blocked it with his hands. The fox retreated and paused high on the sky. With a quick concentration of energy, he created an ice sword and quickly cut the tentacle that tried to hit him.

Below, Satiel winced in pain as the feeling of one of his extra "arms" died out . But, as he opened his eyes, Eros was in free fall with the sword ready to take his life. Using his lower tentacles as propulsion, he thrusted himself to avoid the attack, turned around in mid-air and sent the upper ones hammering down to the fox, who was trying to remove his sword that was got stuck in the ground. Sensing the danger, Eros abandoned his attempt and avoided the fatal smash. His sword, however, didn't have the same luck, and was smashed to hoar. The fox backpedaled a foot or so above the ground and landed when he was a little away from his opponent, feeling a little tired. He created two balls of ice from his hands and cracked them to pieces, throwing the resulting shards towards the rabbit; Satiel began to run forward, breaking the ice barrage with his tentacles and, as he reached Eros, beginning a lightning sequence of punches, which the vulpine defended with the same speed. It was a fight of equals, each one was defending perfectly the other's punches, that is, until Eros let his guard down in a said moment, only to receive a smack from a tentacle squarely in his left cheek, what sent him spinning away a good thirty feet before hitting the ground.

The fox stood up, a trickle of blood running from the corner of his mouth.

"That's it. This fight is becoming way too long" He thought, feeling the stinging of his cheek.

Eros flew up in the sky and positioned himself so that the moon was behind him.

"Lunar Comet!" He bellowed and extended his wings to full span. Absorbing the energy from the moon, his wings turned from electric blue to pure white, his irises disappeared, leaving just the white and his body was enveloped in a glowing aura.

He pointed the feathers of his wings down, making them some sort of propeller that caused him to fall like a true comet towards his frightened opponent. As a desperate response, Satiel sent his three remaining tentacles at his encounter, but the aura was so intense that they were all deatomized without even making Eros lose speed.

The impact occurred in the thousandth of a second, and a giant cloud of dust formed around the exact place were Satiel were standing. When the winds cleared the cloud, the scene was breathtaking. An enormous crater had formed in the place Eros collided with the ground, and soon he soared out of the hole, landing on its edge. The crowd took a few minutes to realize what happened, but soon enough, they cheered deafeningly to Eros's victory. He started to walk away from the crater as, again, his Defender Chain tugged his neck. This time, however, his eyes went wide in surprise.

"How...?"

The soren's shock didn't ease when a badly injured lapin appeared from the crater and tried to attack him from behind. Eros's reaction was again instinctive, but he didn't had time to think twice this time. He turned around and an ice blade formed from his fingertips. Gravity made its job, Satiel landed straight on the tip of the blade. He let out a pained grunt as the cold sword sliced through his stomach. Holding to the fox's body with the little strength his dying body had, he looked to his neck and saw the silver chain hanging there.

"Should...have...known". His eyes closed into a serene face and he stopped moving.

Eros melted the sword and respectfully laid the body of the lapin on the ground. The audience was frozen, only Kina jumped from the stands and approached her boyfriend. Eros lowered his head and closed his eyes, paying the required respect. Kina snapped her fingers and the dimension dome disappeared, making the sun shine again. She hugged Eros to comfort and congratulate him at the same time. When the vulpine lifted his head, he turned to kiss Kina deeply in the lips, feeling as he hadn't kissed her in ages. His arms wrapped themselves on her chest, pulling her deeper into the kiss. They stood like that, kissing with fiery passion, for a good five minutes.

When they finally separated, Eros turned to the crowd and raised his right fist, his left one around his girlfriend's shoulder for support. The spectators immediately began to cheer the winner, as he hung weakly on the lemur's shoulder. Cort appeared out of nowhere and helped to hold him, whispering quietly in his ear.

"My sister wants to see you."

The fox nodded and started walking back to the school. On the second floor of the west wing of the school, everybody knew but almost no one noticed the round depression on the wall of one the corridors, which was the key to reaching the Headmistress's office. The reason nobody cared about it was because that for the path to be opened, one must unload a charge of elemental energy through the hole, hence the reason that just teachers, Ra-Counselors and the Headmistress herself were allowed to pass. Should any student wished to speak to the Head, he or she would need to ask for the key generally from a counselor. Eros walked up to the hole, put his right hand inside and let go a small charge of water energy, which made the wall open up and reveal an enormous arched door. The door immediately opened and Eros saw a face with a proud smile.

Headmistress Noa Snowdrift was a tall, slender and, overall, sexy wolfess, she wore bright green robes, in contrast with the emerald-looking Terra, that covered the back of her right hand. Although he had a girlfriend, Eros always had a sort of a crush on her. She shook her blood red hair out of her vivid green eyes, a gentle smile on her face.

"First of all, Eros, I want to thank you for what you did"

"No need to thank me, Headmistress. Only did what I was supposed to do" He tried to lighten up the atmosphere "Any Ra-Counselor faced with a resentful rabbit with homicidal tendencies would have done the same."

"Yes, we all know that, but still you deserve a reward" Noa said, laughing.

She hummed to herself, trying to decide what could be given to someone as high-ranked as Eros.

"We could make you supreme chancellor...No, Cort wouldn't leave his post without a good fight, and we have enough headaches without an internal fight for power. Not to mention I would like to keep my brother in one piece" She added, chuckling.

Eros smiled back and they spent a few more minutes discussing possible rewards for him.

Finally, she looked up and snapped her fingers.

"Aha, I know. Follow me, please"

Noa led her guest to one of the numerous bookshelves that comprehended her private library, took a book labeled "Special and Supernatural Jewels" and searched something on it. When she stopped, the headmistress showed the soren a page on the book. In it was illustrated the picture of a small diamond.

"Touch it with your right hand" The wolf asked.

Eros did as he was told and touched the jewel with the hand where Mule was. As his fingertips touched the image, both Mule and the jewel began to glow. The fox tried to remove his hand, but it was like they were fused together. When the glow faded, the gem had disappeared and left just a blank page.

"Now open your hand"

Eros opened his hand and got quite surprised to see the same diamond lying on the palm of his hand.

The headmistress took it from his hand and laid the gem on the pearl in the middle of Eros's bracelet, applying some pressure and whispering rapidly in a strange language. Again a strange glowing began, the soren felt a jolt of energy going through his body and suddenly all his wounds disappeared and he felt like he had just drank a Healing Berry and Magic Fruit cocktail and three glasses of Miracle Water. As the light dissipated, the gem disappeared and Eros noticed Mule had grown till he formed a glove of sorts over his hand. Right on the center of his backhand was a three-bladed helix, with a diameter of four inches. Noa was still smiling.

"Say hello to the Vortex Helix"

"Wow!" Eros replied, turning his arm to see it from all the angles.

"This is your newest weapon, you may throw it as a boomerang or use it on hand-to-hand combat. The rock glove Mule formed also slightly raises your physical strength. It is quite efficient, and of course, it raises your elemental power by helping you create and manipulate water"

The fox was wide-eyed, indeed he could feel the power of all the seas under his control.

"Will my hand stay like this, ma'am?"

"No, no. Surely not. Just concentrate a bit and Mule will regress to his normal form" Noa explained "To summon it back, just do the same thing"

"I see" Eros nodded. He tested it a few times, making Mule grow and regress, to get the hang.

"Hmm, I think this is still not enough"

"I'm sorry?"

When he raised his head, he gasped by seeing Noa's face inches from his own.

"Tell me Eros, what would you want?"

He wouldn't respond even if he could, his breath was running out, being replaced by the aroma of the wolf's perfume, and the aphrodisiac smell was making his sheath come to life.

She, unfortunately or fortunately, noticed this and looked down to see a huge tent on Eros's robe. He flushed furiously, but soon felt lighter as an electric impulse ran through his body at the feeling of the wolf's claw scratching his hard maleness. From this on, the fox didn't know what happened, but when he came to his senses, his pants were on his ankles and all nine inches of his foxhood were inside Noa's mouth, and he could feel her tongue roaming his red flesh. The pleasure was so intense he couldn't make her stop, the wrongest this situation could ever be. Eros decided to give in, so he put his hand around the headmistress's bright red hair and made her go on. At this sign, she started to bob her head up and down, not missing a single drop of the oozing precum. Also, she started massaging and playing with the fox's firm orbs, as if trying to coax them to overload sooner.

Her wish wasn't far from becoming true, as Eros was starting to lose control, he began pumping against Noa's head, almost gagging her. With one final push, the seed started to flow from the tip of his head into the wolfess's throat. After the flow stopped, he was panting very heavily and could only make out some words.

"I...think...I'm...more than... rewarded ma'am."

Noa stood up and licked clean her paw and muzzle and replied.

"Yes, but..."

"But?"

She took out her robes and bent down in her table, letting Eros gaze at the underwear covering her nicely shaped rump.

"But now, I want a reward too." She lowered her panties and gifted him with a perfect view of her soaked lips. The soren, who had already tossed ethics out the window, didn't even complain, only asked what she wanted him to do.

"Mmm, you decide that" She grinned at him.

"Alright" He smirked mischievously, a plan forming on his mind.

He kneeled with a step forward and dug his muzzle on her glistening cunt, lapping crazily at the sweet clear nectar.

At the feeling of Eros's cold nose on her innards, only the gods know what kept Noa from coming on the spot. She started moaning like crazy, squeezing the fox's tongue with her trained muscles, what only motivated Eros to go faster, but not too fast, teasing her with the fact of knowing he could go faster, but he wouldn't. When he saw she was panting heavily, he decided to take his plan to the next level: he withdrawed his tongue from the swollen labia and crammed his fox dick to the hilt on her love tunnel.

When he retired his muzzle from her cunny, Noa hadn't even time to draw her breath and protest before she felt the nine inches of his flesh filling her up. Her peak became to rise again, along with the fox's, as their hot mating went on and on. The wolf was cannonballed to heaven every time her new mate pumped his manhood into her waiting vulva.

Finally, although Eros was drowning in an ocean of lust, he pushed forward one last time, making his knot part her folds, tying them together as his cum flooded her womb. Suddenly losing his strength, he fell down on top of Noa's back, too tired to do anything except feeling the sweet afterglow. Noa turned her head around and locked lips with the young soren.

Around half an hour later, Eros's knot finally shrank and they were just able to get themselves decent as Kina entered the room.

"Are you done, already?"

Eros and Noa exchanged looks.

"Sure, let's go." He replied and joined Kina in leaving, but not before sending a discrete wink to the wolfess, getting a blown kiss in return.

"So how it was?" The lemur asked once they were out of the room.

"Pleasurable" he replied, grinning hugely to himself.

Kina raised an eyebrow, but said nothing.

"Want me to teleport you home or you can go by yourself?"

"No, it's fine, I think can go by myself"

"Alright, take care" She kissed him on the lips, noticing a bit of a strangely familiar taste.

Eros took a running start, and took off with a hard flap of his wings. Kina watched as the vision of her beloved faded into a silhouette against the setting sun.
