Asylum (Poem)

Story by JadedDoomsday on SoFurry

, ,

Locked up and not even caring But my thoughts of you are so daring Wrapped in a fabric of undying affection Hooked in place by your attention.

You can say I've gone a little crazy For you baby But my life keeps me in this room Hoping I get out and wrap my arms around you soon

My cell is padded with temptation To keep you from the world's obsession That will be my plan To only touch you, If I can

These strange voices tell me to break free So I can have you next to me In a institution of utter destruction Please help set me free from inner reduction

This place is full of the disturbed Keeping me in, being curbed I'm shaking, feeling the chills crawling down my spine. Why won't you be mine?

I guess I know why they call this place-

Asylum...
