The Voyage Chapter 3 by Shetland and Raven Fox: One month has passed since the events of Chapter 2. William is sent to another inhabited planet to get more minerals by himself. The young human crashes on the planet and is drafted to fight a civil war. (Authors' note: Member SP wrote the three way female yiff scene in the middle of this chapter. RAVEN FOX J )
Workout room on the canines' ship.
William flies to the floor letting out an "OOFF" as he landed on his back. The young human looks at the white artic vixen wearing a leotard showing her nice female curves. He accepted the outstretched black furred hand of Riku.
"You're improving human." The vixen said pulling the human on his feet. She looked over to another vixen shorter than her with a reddish brown pelt. Riku felt chills when she looked at Joan wondering if she upset the other vixen by throwing William around. "I am not worried; Joan said that I shouldn't be gentle with him." The vixen thought to herself being glad that William is getting some muscle back on his body. She didn't like how thin and emaciated he was.
Joan walked up to Riku looking at William as she passed the human. Right now she's wearing a pair of gray colored sweat pants and a white colored T-shirt. "You're right Riku, he's improving, William has potential and in time he'll be good as you." The vixen smiles at the young human.
William grabbed a towel wiping the sweat beading on his forehead looking at the two vixens. So far, he only had sexual intercourse with Joan and the collie Sera. The collie came into his room one night when Joan was standing the bridge watch. Joan did show up and he did his first threesome. William chuckled watching the three female canines talking to each other. Gays and bisexual people didn't bother him. His real dad taught him to tolerate people being different. Rodger, his stepfather was a gay bashing racist bigot costing him a few of his friends. "Oh, I made up my mind. I am giving Riku the directions to my home when we get back to the Milky Way galaxy. All what you half to do is give Rodger a white hood and pajamas and you'll have a member of the KKK." The young human thought to himself following the three female canines to the control room.
In the control room, the three female canines looked at a screen while William walked in the small compartment. He looked over Joan's vulpine head seeing a red flashing area on the screen saying LOW POWER IN CORE. The young human listened to Riku, Joan and Sera talk among themselves.
Riku touched an area on the screen and a planet image expanded. The artic vixen studied the readout and grinned looking at William. "It looks like you're going planet side again. That planet has what we need to refuel the ship." She said to the young human.
"I am going with him. He has a tendency in getting in trouble when he's by himself." Joan said to Riku putting a protective hand on Williams' shoulder.
Riku looked at the vixen that looks way different from her with her lack of long head hair with digit-grade feet. She looked at the shorter vixen saying. "This time he's going planet side armed. We're going to keep a continuous com with him and we're going to program the shuttle to land near a deposit. So he'll just be planet side for fifteen hours, just long enough to get three times the amount of the mineral we need." The vixen looked at the readout with a puzzled expression. "That last batch we got should have lasted another two months instead of depleting in one month. Sera, Joan, when we achieved orbit, do a check on the core to see where we are losing power and do any repairs."
The vixen and the collie nodded looking at the planet on the screen. "It looks like Earth." Sera said looking at William.
The young human nodded looking at the planet. He twisted a control allowing looking at the surface. On the ground, William saw familiar style buildings with people walking on the ground with large cars driving down the streets. "Wow, they're cats."
"I don't trust felines, they're sneaky." Riku muttered to him.
William thought to himself. "People on Earth say the same thing about foxes my vulpine friend."
"Alright, let's start prepping the shuttle. We should arrive at that planet in three hours." She looks at William. "We're going to issue you with a pistol set on stun."
William nodded and walked out of the control room.
Hours later, entering the planets atmosphere.
William held the control wheel resting his hands on the airplane like control. Right now, the autopilot is flying the shuttle. The young human gazes outside of the window examining the land masses. "It's just like Earth, but there are anthro felines. A few furrys I know will love to visit this planet because they love felines." He muttered to himself as the shuttle started to glow a reddish orange.
Minutes later, the shuttle is at one hundred thousand feet doing a series of S-turns to slow it down. When it was at fifty thousand feet, William engaged the cloaking device. The young human took his hands off the control yoke and flexed his fingers. He switched on his com device. "Mother vixen, this is kit. Com check, how do you read me?" He asked doing a chuckle.
"Loud and clear." Replied Riku with an annoyed tone in her voice. "How's the Weather?"
William looked out seeing that the clouds are black in color and swirling. He shuddered when one cloud lit up in a violet color and large rain drops started to shower the shuttle. "I am in a thunderstorm that's getting really bad. Can you do a course change on the autopilot; I don't like the looks of that storm." The young human replied noticing that the storm is getting really bad.

Riku looked at the display showing an image from a camera mounted an above the co-pilots seat. Sera looked at seeing the black swirling clouds. The collie went to her station bringing up a weather radar image from the shuttle. She looked at the image and typed on the keyboard sending numbers to Rikus' station.
The artic vixen looked at the readout and typed the numbers to the autopilot to the shuttle. "Kit, this is mother vixen. I just reprogrammed the autopilot to make the shuttle to fly around the storm. Check in after six hours, good luck."
Shuttle descending to the planet.
William did a sigh of relief when he felt the shuttle change course. Then the view to the outside went violet as the shuttle suffered a lighting strike. The young human watched as all the flight instruments go dark and the sound of the engines went dead. All what he heard was the sound of the storm and the wind rushing along the sides of the shuttle. "Oh shit!" William said grabbing the control yoke.
Canines' ship.
Riku nodded as the indicator of the shuttle changed direction and started to go in a different direction. The vixen saw the data stop for a few seconds and the data resumed showing normal operating parameters.
Sera watched the live image from the camera showing a violet flash and her screen went blue. "Riku, I lost the signal from the camera."
Riku saw that she's still getting a signal and data from the shuttle. "Try raising him, I think that storm is messing stuff up." The vixen heard Sera try calling William on the com unit with no luck. "I think the weather is messing things up, try after he lands." She saw Sera shrug at her and the collie brought up a view of the area the shuttle should be at, all what she saw was that awful storm raging.
Inside the shuttle.
William reached under the instrument panel pulling a lever. He heard something open as the R.A.T. deployed. (Ram air turbine) A few readouts came back on and the young human gripped the control wheel. A few seconds later, feed back was felt on the control wheel. William now knew that he better keep the shuttle above 150 knots or the R.A.T. will stop spinning. A second later, he felt the emergency wings deploy giving the shuttle a surface to generate lift. "But this thing has the aerodynamics of a brick just like the space shuttle NASA use to fly." The young human thought to himself as the shuttle dropped out of the sky. He knew that the landing is not going to be pretty. The shuttle, the young human knew is going to crash on the ground at 150 knots. William tightens his harness and gripped the control wheel tighter.
Minutes later, the shuttle crashed in a field taking out a bunch of corn and tomato plants. The young human grabbed his pistol and com device and ran into the woods nearby. "Dam, I forgot to activate the distress beacon!" William yelled and started to head back to the shuttle. But the he stopped when he saw a male tiger running up to the shuttle brandishing a type of rife. William was about to stun the feline, but stopped when he saw a younger tiger running behind the larger one. The young human holstered his weapon and ran back in the woods. "I don't harm kids regardless of race." He thought to himself and ran in to the woods.
Crash site, minutes later.
The male cougar looked at the shuttle sitting in the middle of the field. Sighing in disbelief, the feline scratched his chin while the rest of the group stared at the craft. "Shan, the farmer saw a hairless, tailless bi-pedal life form ran into the woods." Said a male cat based of a Siamese feline.
Shan nodded looking in the woods baring his large feline canine teeth. "Alright Ki, send a group trackers to find our mysterious guest." He turned to the smaller feline gazing at the felines' blue eyes with his amber gold stare. "I want this life form alive and unharmed brought to me. If this life form is badly injured or dead, the ones responsible will be severely punished." The cougar let the threat sink in causing other feline tremble.
Ki gulped and nodded. "Alright sir, I'll look for the life form myself." The cat shouted a few names and walked in the woods.
The cougar nodded and returned his gaze to the shuttle while a few large vehicles put the shuttle on a large flatbed truck.
From his hiding place, William watched as his ride is loaded on a large truck. He looked at the trucks' classic lines. "I have seen this model of truck in an automotive museum. Let's see, the first planet was in the 1600's. This planet looks like early twentieth century." The young human mused to himself as he tried an away to get to the truck.
"Turn around alien and come with me." Said a male voice with a strange accent.
William turned and gasps. Standing near him is a large cat standing on his hind legs, is a Siamese cat with brown markings staring at him with blue eyes. The young human went to draw his pistol to stun the feline, but a heavy blow struck him knocking him out.
Ki grinned at the unconscious form and looked at the other male Siamese cat with lilac coloring. "Good job Skee, pick up this alien and take it to Shan. Tell our cougar leader that the alien slipped and fell causing his current unconscious."
Skee nodded and walked to the crash site. Ki licked his nose and followed his friend.
Canines' ship orbiting the planet a couple of hours later.
The three femmes were going about their jobs on the ship while William was away.
Riku was performing maintenance on the navigation system, her artic vixen fur shining under the artificial lights.
Sera the sable colored collie was going over the sensor records for the last 48 hours.
She missed William and found it was best to keep herself busy when he wasn't around.
Meanwhile Joan was checking the ship's inventory and cataloguing their supplies.
The red vixen hadn't been on the crew too long, and in a few hours time she would not only solidify her position on the crew but her place in their little pack.
She knew from the second she saw her that Riku was the alpha or head of the pack.
Sera was clearly the beta or second in charge leaving her as pack omega or the low bitch.

Hours passed and Joan had completed checking the ship's supplies and had just walked into the mess hall to get a bite to eat.

As she entered the room she saw Riku was already sat at the table half way through her meal, Joan lowered her head in respect for the artic vixen, the nod she gave the red vixen back showed the gesture was acknowledged.

"Meet us in my quarters when you're finished." Riku said as she cleared her plate.

"Just let me finish this up and we can get started." Riku said as she continued typing on the handheld pad.

The feline looked at the human with her silver colored eyes brushing a strand of dark gray head hair pinned under a military cap. "I am Captain Jane of the D.K. air corps." She said sitting down on a chair threading her long tail in the back and gazed at him. "What are you and where did you come from?"
The human studied the feline shivering at her silver gaze. He cleared his throat and told her his story of what happened to him since his real father died and the accidental trip across the universe. William studied the felines' reaction as she walked to the window and looked up as if she can see the canines' ship.
Jane walked back to the chair and sat down. The feline gazed at him and studied the human. "Interesting story William, you've just been drafted by the air corps. Since your ship only has one shuttle, it will either land on this planet or leave you behind." She replied again walking to the door. "Lt., escort the human to the training base. We just recruited him and we do need pilots."
William shivered as a familiar male cougar walked in the room undoing his restraints. The male feline grinned at him showing his lethal teeth. "Hello recruit, my name is Shan. I'll be one of your instructors in training you to fly fighter craft." Said the feline.
The young human sighed following Shan. "I am seventeen and still considered a minor."
Shan chuckled. "That's the age a kitten is eligible for military service. Address me as sir and you give Captain Jane the same courtesy by addressing her as maam."
William calmed himself and changed his mentality the way his real father taught him military courtesy. "Yes sir." He said in a crisp tone.
"That's better recruit, follow orders and we'll get along just fine." Shan said as the cougar, cat and a skinny human following them walked down the hall.
"My real father will be upset about me becoming an officer." William thought to himself as he walked down the hall.
Canines ship twelve hours later.
Riku sucked her breath thru teeth making a strange hissing noise. The artic vixen looked at the screen in front of her looking for the missing shuttle. She did an adjustment on the camera to filter the cloaking device. "I can't find the shuttle, its missing!" Riku yelled.
"Are we still getting the data stream from it?" Asked Joan looking at the screen.
"No the data stopped transmitting when the shuttle landed. I looked at the area when we lost the data signal, but there's sign of the shuttle. It's like it vanished from this planet." Riku pounded on the console. "William hasn't answered our calls on the com device we issued him. The device is active, butt..." She looked at Joan expression of concern.
Sera walked up stroking Joan between her ears and looked at her. The collie typed on the keyboard reading the data from the shuttle. "That's it, there was a power surge a tenth of a second before we lost the data stream. Then this signal appeared three seconds later showing normal parameters. We better look for any signs of where a crash site might be getting cleaned up. I think the shuttle crashed because that power surge would have shut everything down. If I was you, I'll be looking for felines doing a cleanup somewhere." She said looking at the landscape.
Riku did another adjustment and resumed scanning. A minute later, she exclaimed. "That's it, found our crash site." The vixen saw a group of twenty felines using farm equipment at a gouged area. Riku zoomed in the area watching the felines walked around. Then one of the cats picked up something making the vixen zoom in on the piece. "That's part of one of the emergency wings," She said and looked at the two canines with a worried look. "One last thing to answer is...Where is William?"
Joan and Sera looked at each other and back at Riku. "This ship had only one shuttle, so, what are we going to do?" Asked Joan with a puzzled look.
Riku drummed her fingers making her claws click on the console. She sighed to herself making her decision. "Standby to land the ship at an isolated area. I am kind of responsible for this situation, but it's my duty for his safety till we get back home. So we're going to land and find him. Our stay on this planet has just been extended to a search and rescue." The vixen noted Joans' canine grin and the vixen stroking her bronze knife sheathe.
Sera nodded getting at her pilots' station flipping switches. "Better program a landing site. We only have enough energy to go from orbit to a landing site. I got to find the reason we lost so much energy." The collie said to Riku.
The artic vixen nodded. "We'll do an outside inspection of the hull after we land. I am putting us down a mile from a deposit. It will sustain us for three months till we find another planet." Riku glanced at Joan. "I hope we get our shuttle back, because it's impossible to build another one."
Joan nodded and looked at the screen showing the outside of the ship "What is that?"
Outside the ship, a smaller one detached itself and streaked away. Riku watched as the mysterious ship engaged it jump engine and vanished. "I don't recognize that design, we just solved why our last load of minerals only lasted one month. They just cost us a shuttle and a crew member."
The ship entered the atmosphere to land on the planet to refuel and look for its missing crew member.
Outside a building on a military base.
William stepped out of the large car that looked like a 1940 Packard. The human adjusted the uniform he's wearing. He sighed knowing that his com unit and pistol has been taken from him. "Where is my ride?" William whispered to himself.
Shan patted his back. "Right there recruit, that's if you pass training which consists of eight weeks of training." Pointing at an airplane flying overhead.
The human looked up seeing a single engine airplane flying overhead. It looked like a submarine spitfire made for the Royal Air force back in World War 2. William bit his lower lip feeling fear and excitement at the same time. "Are you guys in a war at the moment sir?"
Shan nodded. "That's right recruit; this country is currently in a civil war. It's been going on in the last couple of years. If you landed in the South, they would have enslaved you, so you're lucky that you landed in the North."
William nodded and followed Shan into the building examining the deactivated weapons decorating the outside of the entrance. He remembered being with his real father going to different Army bases with the same decorations. "I guess it's encoded in warriors' gene to decorate a military building with weapons." The human thought to himself feeling a growing feeling as he went inside the building to become a fighter pilot. "My real father is looking down on me with a grin from where warriors go when they die." William thought to himself feeling the feeling growing inside him as the doors closed behind him.
