The Auction
#1 of Age of the Raptors
It was a chilly as a few other humans and I were pulled around; chains bound our necks. All of us looked pretty dirty, dressed in rags, as we were lead by a large Raptor, coated very well to keep warm. I wished I had one of those coats, or anything to get the cold off my skin. They kept me in a cell for weeks after my village was ransacked. I knew I was being taken to an auction to be sold to any who would buy me, and as humans, we all knew that our chances for survival dropped like a rock. I had the shakes as I tried to keep from bumping into the passing reptiles that walked down the crowded street; many of them giving me looks as if I was going to be their next meal.
The Raptor leading us turned into a building and pulled us in. He stopped and started to talk to another that was there, so I took this chance to get warm by rubbing my hands. It seemed that the remaining humans do everything to avoid being caught, but when the inevitable happens, we accept it for what it is and move on. The Raptors, being our masters, knew humans could learn things as they saw fit, so the few of us remaining were being sold for top dollar.
The Raptors looked a lot like us, in a way. They stand upright just like we do and the females have breasts. I remember hearing a rumor ago about how a long time ago, Raptors used to look a lot different, but now they look just like us. I looked around and noticed a couple Raptors talking in a corner, and I wondered why Raptors displayed themselves in this manner. Their skins came in so many different colors and shades that it was impossible to mix up one for another. One of the Raptors was a light tan on his front, and a crazy brilliant light green with strips of darker green on the back, while the other looked like someone threw yellow dye all over him, then finished with purple dye.
My mind was drifting when the chain was yanked and we were dragged into another room. The one who was leading us around took off our chains and pushed us into a steady stream of running water as another Raptor scrubbed us down.
I didn't mind since the water was semi-warm, and I didn't like being this dirty. As soon as I started to enjoy the warmth, I was pushed out as they cleaned the next one. After a collar was placed on me, I was escorted out by a Raptor that was dressed very well from what I had seen so far, and as he pushed me down a hall, I heard a lot of noise and yelling emanating from the end. When we got to the opening, I covered my eyes from the sudden bright light, then looked around to see a large crowd around the stage that I just walked out on. I was escorted to the middle were I saw a female that was up just a second ago being brought to the side so her new masters could pick her up. She looked understandably terrified. Just then the raptor let go of my shoulder and stepped on an elevated part of the stage.
"We have here a young freshly caught 19 year old male. He has been well cared for and has no missing teeth." the Raptor said to the crowd. All I could do was look out and hope that I would get a master who would not use me for some rare food in a restaurant.
"He's a quiet one and is not aggressive at all. A very loyal a pet! Now, let's start the bidding at 500000 Credits..." the Raptor yelled out, clasping his clawed hands together. Instantly, hands shot up, and the price jumped with each one. I noticed that there was something many of the Raptors liked about me, but I was unsure as to what it was. After about a minute it got down to three Raptors. Now, I did not know a lot about how much money I was worth, but judging from the looks it was quite a bit, which oddly enough made me feel a little safer. Maybe if someone spent a lot of money on me, they would be less inclined to kill and or eat me later. The Auctioneer was now trying to sell me between two Raptors, and I looked on helplessly as I waited to see who would it be, but after the price went up some more one of the Raptors just shook her head and walked away.
"SOLD!" The Auctioneer yelled out
He pushed me to the side of the stage, where I was held by two Raptors. They took off my collar as I looked into the crowd, waiting to see who held my fate. I saw another well dressed raptor walk up to me.
"Have it delivered by tomorrow, and make sure it stays quiet." the Raptor said.
"Yes Alp-Zren" One of the raptors said.
Zren, I would remember that name.... I felt something stick into my arm and I looked over to see one Raptor injecting me with something. My eyelids became heavy as I saw Zren walking back into the crowd, then it all went black...
I awoke with dizziness when I heard a rocking sound nearby. I was lying on the ground in a large room. The light was dim as I noticed a bowl of fruit and a container of water a few feet away. I crawled over to it and started stuffing my face with as much food as possible. It wasn't often chances like this presented themselves. I picked up the water and washed down the food when I heard the rocking sound again, accompanied with a light growl. I was curious as to what was that was making the noise, so I crawled to the adjacent wall. Feeling along the wall, I soon found a crack in it, and it seemed to be where the noise was coming from. Through the crack, I peaked into the room and was surprised at what I saw..
In the room were two Raptors on a bed, and they were obviously having passionate sex. I watched with earnest as I saw the male on top of the female; she was lying on her chest on the bed with the male taking her from behind. The Female was a dark red with what looked like dark green tribal mark on her back. The male had an orange skin color and what looked like stripes going down his back to his tail. I knew I should've looked away, but I wasn't one to pass up a free porno. I saw the male lower his head some and what looked like him biting her on the back of her neck. The sweat that beaded off their skin as the light above them shone made them look almost shiny. I was just getting into it when I heard someone coming into the room I was in. I quickly looked at the door, and when I glanced back at the couple in the room I saw both the male and female looking dead into my eyes.
I backed away quickly to the center of the room right when the door opened. I looked up from my crouched position and saw a female Raptor about six feet tall come in. When she saw me, her face seemed to light up with joy, but when she ran to me I got scared. I got up to run, but was caught and raised to my feet with her arms wrapped around me. She... she was hugging me.
"Oh thank you, thank you, thank you! I've always wanted a human pet!" She said while crushing me in her bear-hug. Zren walked to her side while looking at me, and judging from the face I had on he knew I was running low on air.
"I knew you would like him," Zren said as the female released me. I fell a few inches to the ground and took in a lung full of air, then I turned to see the two hugging, and then kissing. After the long kiss, they both looked back at me with her arm wrapped around Zren's waist.
"So what should we call him?" the female asked.
"Ask him. He's one of those smart humans that can do certain things on their own," Zren
answered. The female walked up to me and then held her hand to her chest.
"Shyla, I'm Shyla," She said as if she was speaking to a dumb breed of human. Some of us knew how to speak well, but never let the Raptors know. We just acted like they assumed. Shyla then put her hand to my chest; that was my cue.
"MMMike" I said softly, making sure I didn't let them know that I could speak better than most humans. Shyla looked at me and Zren.
"Well Mike, welcome to the pack" She said, hugging me again. I just stood there and took the hug. Shyla then let me go and looked back at Zren.
"Oh! Let s go by some toys for him!" Shyla said, the excitement in her voice raising rapidly.
"I was afraid of that..." Zren said playfully to her. She then laughed and grabbed his hand and pulled him out the door. It shut and I heard it being locked. I then went back to the tray of food and started to eat again, and a smile slowly painted itself on my face as I realized how lucky I was. Once the food had disappeared, I laid on the ground and thought about my new masters and what they had in store for me.
