Well...Mudpaws and i are shapeshifters...he an organic one and myself a magical....anyway,one day he and i were discussing all the cool and crazy stuff we would do if we had all the abilities of our fursonas...i told him id create a massive floating island in the sky for us to live on in harmony with nature....he stated he would like to have a buncha contests with me involving our shapeshifting abilities...that set the gears in my head turning on story ideas.

So when http://www.furaffinity.net/user/nicenough/ offerd a free request story to watchers i jumped on it.

The rising sun shot brilliant spears of gold under a ceiling of magenta cloud and through the crisp morning fog. The colours of the verdant island hillside were somehow heightened; enhanced by the kiss of the new dawn. Amongst the brilliant emerald and umber hues, dipping their way slowly into the warm light of the morning sun, a golden fleck sparked its way along a forest path, then stopped for pause in a clearing. Mudpaws, breaking through the shade of the forest, looked out at the transformation taking place. The sun crept down the surrounding trees and he felt its touch, saw how it glinted off his golden scales and warmed his dark fur. He felt perfectly at ease on this island; this refuge and sanctuary. The dawn ignited the cloud bank to fiery reds and yellows. The view from the clearing was spectacular, especially at this altitude, he thought. The ocean--thousands of feet below--appeared as a serene reflecting pool, mirroring the spectacle in a shimmering parallel world. He stood pensively, feeling the slow steady movement of the island, drifting silently through the air, the wind perfectly calm. It seemed as though the moment could last forever. They could have been across the ocean in an instant, but--if nothing else--the inhabitants of the island had time to spare. He spotted his love, a way down the hill, sitting in a comfortable though very out of place looking loveseat. He remained still, looking out over endless oil painting horizon--an infinite span of sky. Mudpaws moved closer, breathing in the familiar smell; his love's sweet perfume preceded him. A unique and intoxicating scent; familiar and comforting, it seemed to always emanate from Moonshadow. The wolf-dragon came up behind the slight mouse, lounged over one armrest of the seat, his bright white fur stained amber by the dawn, covered only minimally by his favourite tie-die garb. Floating weightlessly behind him, his lustrous pot leaf wings swayed softly. "You're sure up early," the golden wolf-dragon yawned, stretching animatedly as he walked over to sit with Moonshadow, "Personally, I can't see any reason to be up and out of bed this early. I wouldn't be, after last night, but you sneaked out early." The mouse smiled as he sat. "Oh, good morning babe," he said, breaking from his trancelike state, "Can you blame me? Just look at this, man!" He swept a slender arm over the scene. Mudpaws scooped the mouse into his lap as he slid into an embrace and they kissed, tenderly. "I'm glad you came though. I was missing you." Moonshadow blushed, idly toying with the brass clasp on the ancient leather-bound tome, always kept tethered to his thigh. "You're right about that sunrise. I can't help but think you're spoiling me every day here! But, you know, I like to sleep at least once every couple days!" "I'd say at least twice a day!" laughed a voice from between the pages of the hefty volume, "And hey, while I'm at it, might I suggest a few more glorious dawns? I'll fly you to the moon but I'll ask you first to take a deep breath!" "Well now we're all up," Moonshadow's eyes lit up, ignoring the interruption, "We might as well get a start on the day." The sun breached the cloud bank, and the surreal dawn was lost to blue skies. He gave Mudpaws a final squeeze and lithely hopped to his feet, wings flourishing behind him like a green cape. "What did you have in mind?" Mudpaws was suddenly feeling quite awake, despite his usual habit of being asleep at this time of day. "Come back to bed, and you'll find out, love!" Moonshadow smiled slyly and slipped into the woods. Mudpaws watched as--wings swaying and tail beckoning--he disappeared into the darkness. "See what I mean? You two are in bed at least twice a day! Haha!" was the last sound Mudpaws heard, aside from those of nature and calm. The Necronomicon Requiro Cupido Votum, for all his usefulness really is a bit of a smart-ass, he thought. He guessed the demon couldn't really help it, if that was indeed his innate nature. Mudpaws took a final look over the horizon filled with endless sky and water, then decided he'd better follow his lover. Rising, the seat immediately evaporated in a cloud of oily, sweet smelling smoke. He was curious to see what Moonshadow had in mind for that day. They had been on the floating island long enough to lose count of the days, but it seemed every day they found something new to explore--both within and beyond the bedroom of their cabin. In his eagerness, Mudpaws decided to make haste his return. He started to run, and immediately began to change to suit the task--his limbs lengthened subtly and his muscles swelled, a lower profile gaining him increased potential for speed. As he darted through pools of light and shadow, he knew it was pointless to try and beat Moonshadow back to the cabin. Though he may have disembarked the clearing at no more than a saunter, the mouse had a way of moving deceptively fast, especially on his island. Mudpaws didn't fully understand him, and wasn't sure he ever would, entirely. Reaching the cabin, an unassuming earthy structure--partially overtaken by colourful gardens of exotic flowers and herbs--that honestly appeared bigger on the inside, Mudpaws wasn't in the least surprised to see Moonshadow already within. He returned to his usual wolf-dragon proportions and entered. The mouse was lying expectantly on the bed, trying to hold back a smug grin. "So what did you have in mind for today, love?" Mudpaws joined him on the cool white sheet. "Well, I knew you just wanted to get back to bed," he smiled playfully, giving his lover a soft kiss on the lips. "I really can't argue with that," the wolf-dragon kissed him back and they began to roll about, laughing and kissing playfully.

It was only after nearly half an hour of laughter and tangled sheets that they broke their embrace to lie side by side, staring up at the ceiling and catching their breath. They lay like this listening to the distant chirp of birds and chitter of squirrels for a minute. "Say Muds," Moonshadow said, shooting him a quizzical look, "What's the scariest thing you could possibly think of?" "Where did that come from?" Mudpaws returned the look, "I don't know, what about you?" "Yeah!" chimed in the book of desires, "I agree, he's pretty damn scary! A fright! And you don't even have to deal with his sweaty book-leg!" "Hey give me a break, man!" remarked Moonshadow, shifting the book, conscious of the fur beneath, "You know, I'm not really sure what I'm afraid of anymore... But I think I know how we can find out!" "Oh really? Continue, good sir." "Well, I was thinking of a bit of a contest," the hippiemouse continued enthusiastically, "First person to get scared, grossed out, or whatever, loses." "What would we be doing?" "Oh, just kissing." "Just? So what's to fear?" "Well, you try to transform into whatever you think would scare the daylights out of me, and I'll do the same for you." "Alright, I'm in. Are you sure yo don't want to conjure us a haunted house to set the mood?" Mudpaws chuckled. "No, I'll just get the lights." An invisible hand firmly shut the door and closed the drapes, enveloping the room in sticky darkness, thick as molasses. A few candles flared to life on the night stand, casting their dim, flickering glow about the room. "That takes care of the atmosphere! Do you want to go first, or shall I?" "You go first, dude. I need time to think; what would scare you?" "Suit yourself," Moonshadow closed his eyes, and his black crescent moon face marking began to glow with brilliant mauve-tinted white light, illuminating the darkened room momentarily, before he was enrobed in swirls of thick, oily smoke, the light shining through like a nautical beacon under dense fog. Mudpaws sat back and watched. The swirling smoke began to dissipate and a deep, other-worldly voice came from within the cloud. "Welcome to your final nightmare, kid," a demonic undertone reverberated off the dark walls of the small room. Mudpaws was impatient for the great reveal; he ran his hands slowly up the concealed figure's length, clearing the smoke as he did. He felt soft wool, cold with a coat of grime. Brown slacks, a dirty red and green sweater, oh gods- Suddenly a pair of arms shot out, grabbed Mudpaws around the back of the head and pulled the two face to face in an iron grip. From the smoke emerged a hideous sight--beneath a tortured brown brim, burned and distorted, his face, mere inches away, made the wolf-dragon jump. A shot of adrenaline pierced him from toes to tail to nose as he remained, paralyzed, staring into the blood-red eyes of that demonic mug. Sharpened claws of steel combed through his hair and pricked his scalp. He didn't move. They were frozen, Mudpaws and Freddy Krueger, eyes locked. "Oh, come to Freddy," he smirked, chuckling. He brought the stunned Mudpaws closer, and gave him a slow, deep kiss. With it, Mudpaws melted and began to kiss back. As he did, Freddy retained his firm hold and, keeping their faces together, forced his gruesome tongue into his lover's mouth. As it began extending down his throat, Mudpaws gagged and pulled out of the hold, coughing and tumbling off the bed. "Too... Hot for you?" Freddymouse smoothed back his non-existent hair comically, looking quite pleased with himself. Mudpaws popped up from the foot of the bed. "No! You just startled me, that's all." "Then come back to bed, baby," he almost growled. "Just... keep the tongue in check." Freddy stuck out his tongue (over a foot) then reeled it in. Mudpaws climbed back on top, and they kissed again, now as lovers. Freddy smelled of smoke, but nothing like Moonshadow. This smoke smelled of tar, steel and pine. It was a new experience, but certainly not frightening. Freddy's claws dug into his back, but he didn't mind--he liked it! He felt the rubbery, calloused texture of his face, and it wasn't entirely pleasant, but not gross in the strictest sense of the term, not when its lips were moving in time so perfectly with his. Pulling away once more, he saw Freddy shared Moonshadow's black crescent-moon marking, and had to laugh. "Alright, I've got something I think might get you." "Lay it on me, babe!" Freddymouse sat reclined as Mudpaws moved away. He thought for a moment, then began to change. His skin took on a metallic reflectivity, shimmering like mercury. From his original form rippled strange ridges and protrusions. His silvery arms thinned and lengthened, his hands forming hard, slender, three-fingered talons. His tail doubled in length, scales growing into a stunted vertebra exoskeleton, ending in a razor-like scimitar tip. His entire head became featureless and extruded, save for a gaping, grimacing mouth. As he flowed organically into a crouch, his legs extended, wiry and resting on tips of toes. His entire frame seemed now to be stunted, a horrifying exoskeleton over its spindly length. As colour returned to him, definition was given to the new, disgusting form. Deep green, glistening, and dripping with viscous secretions, the featureless face seemed to peer into Freddymouse's charred soul, and he began to get a faint sense of foreboding. The canine xenomorph sniffed around with hidden olfactory organs, salivating. "This thing looks really pissed off." For once the book of desires sounded sincere. "You're telling me." Freddymouse's eyes were wide as he cautiously donned his Fedora, never taking his eye off the creature. It snarled and turned to face him head-on. Hissing, it sprung, pinning him to the bed where he lay. Dripping alkaline saliva all over, the xenomorph stared its eyeless stare, growling. It smiled--or perhaps it was a grimace--revealing metallic teeth under slimy green lips. "You want me to kiss that?" The xenomorph shook its head, "Guess again," the implication as the rows of teeth parted and a secondary set of jaws shot out, sputtering fluid. "This is for slipping you the tongue, isn't it?" A nod. You bet your ass. "You are so gross." Freddymouse wiped his face of the slime already building up and leaned in hesitantly, to give the jaws a swift peck. They snapped shut, catching his lip. "Hey man, that was uncalled for! Now suck that thing back in, unless you want some more tongue." The jaws clashed an invitation, then retracted. He kissed the xenomorph once more, this time on the lips. Its skin was just as cold and slimy as it looked, leaving trailing tendrils of saliva suspended when he pulled away. Very disgusted, but determined not to lose his own contest, Moonshadow decided to make his next move. Still pinned beneath the alien, his crescent moon marking once more began to shine daylight into the room, and clouds of smoke rolled in, concealing him entirely from view. The canine xenomorph hissed. The smoke cleared and the alien suddenly recoiled, trying to escape. From the bed rose a massive bulbous purple head, glassy, lifeless eyes, that same black crescent and a toothy, plastic smile. A massive purple dinosaur now sat, smiling, bobbing on the bed. It slowly came to stand over the alien. Large and spindly as the xenomorph was, it was dwarfed by the behemoth that now stood before it. It cowered at the feet of none other than Barney the Purple Dinosaur. "I love you," it laughed and sang with a cartoon-like tenor, "You love me," it picked the alien up by the shoulders, unguligrade feet now suspended, scimitar tail scraping the floor, flailing about feebly. It looked up, whimpering, defeated and submissive. "We're a happy family, with a great big hug and a kiss from me to you..." The dead, glassy eyes closed as the cavernous mouth puckered, going in for the kill. Mudpaws thought fast. The alien features became fluid, condensing into a more compact, humanoid form. In the instant before their lips touched, colour and texture flashed across his body. Grey hair, pallid, wrinkled skin and an ill-fitting navy suit. "Aww, c'mere sugar," the unmistakable voice of George Bush Jr. made Barney's eyes flash wide in terror. His heart beat only once, a single tympanic thud, before he launched himself away, with a cry of panic. The purple giant flew through the air as though suspended, making an awkward half back-flip before hitting his head hard on the wall and falling to the bed like a stone, unconscious. In a swirl of smoke he reverted to his original mouse form, unmoving and silent, breathing shallowly. "Good lord man, you've scared the daylights out of him!" exclaimed the book of desires. "Oh man," Bush came to sit beside the unconscious mouse, "I've really done it," he choked, "I... win?" "Don't act so choked up, he'll be fine. In fact he'll probably come around any minute now. If I were you, I'd give him a pleasant surprise to wake up to!" "You know I should probably just get some ice or something-" "Come on! Get creative. You know he'd appreciate it." The book of desires made a compelling argument. Mudpaws considered this as he took on a metallic sheen, a mischievous grin on his face.

Moonshadow stirred. His head was killing him and he had lost the last few minutes from memory. He tried to get up, but the room spun and he had to give up the effort. It was then that he noticed something peculiar--he wasn't exactly lying on the bed, but rather suspended above it. Warm, pink tentacles slithered across him, both supporting and gently restraining him, curling slowly around his arms and legs. "Muds?" The slender mouse looked around drowsily for his lover, "Is that you, or should I start worrying?" "Don't worry babe," came a familiar voice from beneath, "I've got you." Metallic feelers extended from under the bed, flashing fluorescent pink before finding the Hippiemouse. They explored his body, caressing every inch, gently pulling off his clothes. Moonshadow was suspended, nude, and helpless, but in caring hands. The feelers found all the right places, stimulating, caressing, exploring, as two larger tendrils made their silent ascent. Moonshadow's legs were enticed apart, and the exploratory appendages found their targets. One curled up to stroke his thighs, whilst the other poked around for an entrance. Finding one, it massaged back and forth for a moment, before nudging its way inside; this sent electric shocks of pleasure through the mouse and he squeaked his enthusiastic agreement. The smaller feelers never ceased their exploration, finding every sensitive spot. Within moments, the second large appendage found its target; the Hippiemouse's erect penis throbbed before it, in time with the thrusts from below. The tentacle felt its way up and down, yielding loud moans of pleasure. A firm thrust pushed deeper inside, and the tentacle was poised; a warm cavity formed, pushing its way down, over the length of the mouse's shaft. "Ahh,gods yes!" was all he could manage. At that moment he was too stimulated, too hopelessly aroused to fight it, or even to speak. A warm feeling was building inside him, telling him he couldn't last much longer. The penetrating tentacle lengthened and widened, pulsing pleasure through the mouse. He felt like he might explode, the feeling was so intense. Combined with the stimulation of the sucking appendage, creating the most amazing feeling over his shaft, every breath, every heartbeat, every thrust was an ecstasy greater than the last. "I don't think- I can't-" Moonshadow panted, feeling the buildup start to overflow, every nerve in his body catching fire in one of the most monumental orgasms he had ever experienced. His crescent moon and wings glowed with amazing intensity. the tentacles continued their work, pushing him over the edge as he cried out in pleasure, writhing and arching, in a seemingly unending unloading of pure erotic bliss. The tentacles began to retract as he came, splashing across the ceiling and hitting him in the face. They laid him back on the bed, and he lay there, dazed, panting, in an absolute stupor from the experience. He had forgotten entirely about his throbbing head. He couldn't even move, basking in the afterglow. Mudpaws materialized next to him in wolf-dragon form, panting as well. "I win, love," he pecked the mouse on the cheek, and noted the sticky mess, "Looks like you made a bit of a mess!" He proceeded to lick his face clean. "Uhhhhn" was all Moonshadow could manage, too stunned to come back to reality quite yet. Mudpaws didn't mind. He just snuggled up close to his love, and they began to drift off to sleep. He knew there would be innumerably more experiences, new and exciting. He sighed, listening to the sounds of nature as a breeze brushed the trees outside. The island continued its lonely course through the salty skies, bound for new adventures.
