Forgiven, Chapter 2

so here is chapter 2 of the story and i will also add chapter three in the morning since i won't be able to be posting any during the weekend. cause i'm goin campin! *Does the Carameldansen Dance* any who, yea i'm excited cause its a place where i used to go as a kid with my father and now i can go with the family as an adult so i can't wait to hear the trickle of the stream in the night as the crickets chirp, the owls who, the bats chirp and the cyotoes yip. ahhh the forest lullaby... any ways. i'll see ya'll on monday with chapter 4.
Forgiven, Chapter 2
i groaned as i held my head "what the hell." i thought. i shook my head and quickly looked up to see the guards running to me. i tried to sit up when i was stopped by a body ontop of me. "she fell ontop of me!" i thought angrily. i turned around to see the dragon, my target jump infront of us, blocking the path of the guards. "Lady move, we need to get that criminal." one guard shouted at her. "and what has she done that is so horrible hmmm?" she asked them. "she stole food for our lord out of our caravan." another guard replied as the others began to surround the small group. "oh, really? and why do you think she was stealing the food, hmmm?" the dragon asked the guards. "we don't care, she still stole it and she is either going to the dungeon or paying the fine." a rabbit guard stated. "you really think she can pay that? look at her. if she is just stealing food do you really think she has any money?" the dragon asked them.
"well... no, but still." a feline guard replied. "oh, so i am supposed to just hand her over so she can starve in a dungeon. ha. yea right." the dragon said crossing her arms with a frustrated look. "lady please, we are just doing our job." the rabbit pleaded. the dragon now drew a sword that was hanging on her side. "I said no!" she yelled at them, firmly stating that she wasn't going to give hime up. "Lady, there is no way we are going back empty handed." the leader said making a circular motion with his hand. the other guards reacted by surrounding us in a big circle. "five versus three. well, two if i can get out of here first." i thought. i shoved the fox off of me and jumped up to my feet. i was about to run when an avian guard jumped out infront of me. "where do you think your going." the guard said pointing his sword at me. i drew my long daggers from theyre sheaths, getting in my defensive stance. "fine, five versus three. maybe i can kill her in all the panic after it starts and then run." i thought trying to form a plan. since my original plan was no longer valid for what was going on.
the foxen groaned and sat up, looking around. "ooooh shit." i heard her say when she saw the guards around us. she looked at me and the dragon ready to fight. "wait!" i heard her shout. "please, don't fight for me. i don't want innocent people hurt." we both gave no answer to her and i only tightened my grip on my daggers, preparing for the upcomming fight. "see, you don't even have to fight, she wants to come with us." the avian guard said. the dragon acted first, attacking the two guards infront of her. which caused the guards infront of me to attack me. they swung theyre swords so i quickly rolled to the right to dodge the attack. i then stood up and saw two guards go over my head into one guard infront of me, the standing guard's sword went into one of the flying guards chest, causing his blood to spill as he fell limp to the ground. the other guards pushed his body to the side and stood up ready to fight me.
they both lunged at me, me reacting with raising my daggers ahead and deflected the attack. one did a low cut so i jumped up at him as he was in mid swing and drove a dagger into his neck, using my body wieght to force him down to the ground. after quickly twisting the blade and ripping his artery apart, i rolled off to the side to dodge his partners attack. i jumped up and began blocking his attacks one by one as he swung his sword. as soon as i had a clearing i pushed my leg out and kicked his chest back, causing him to stumble backwards. as he was trying to get his footing i aimed and shot a throwing knife at him. the knife went wide by mearly inches and whizzed past his head, sticking into a tree behind him. i watched as his eyes went wide, turning his head to see the knife next to him. i took this chance and threw another, this time hitting its target sqaure in the face. i watched as he reached for the knife in his face, but it was too late. his body fell down to a heap on the ground. i turned and saw a magnificant sight and my jaw dropped in awe.
the dragon was holding a guard in the air by his neck in her large talons and slashed at the other with her sword. the sword cut the guard cleanly in half and she turned to look at the very frightened guard in her hand. "listen you, go back and tell your lord to stop being so greedy, and maybe he won't get his dinner taken." the avian guard nodded his head quickly as he tried pulling her hand down so he could breath. the dragon then dropped the avian and pointed away like a master telling off his pet. the avian guard coward his head low as he began to walk back toward where he came from behind me.
i watched him walk by me and i turned my head to look at the dragon and the fox. the dragon had some scratches on her arms, but they would heal up quickly. i sheathed my daggers away when i saw her eyes go wide in a frightened way, i was curious about why she was staring at me like that when a sword jutted out from my chest. "Nooo!" i heard the dragon and the fox yell together as my eyes went wide too while pain quickly filled the void, blood spilling out of me. i fell to my knee's, holding the wound on my chest, trying to keep the blood from escaping my body. i heard the dragon roar and a loud spine chilling scream behind me. i was about to collapse to the ground when i felt furry arms catch me
i looked up to see the fox holding me, yelling something at me. i couldn't hear her, my hearing went out as my sight began to blacken. "this is it." i thought to myself. i then felt rough scales embrace my body and i felt weightless. i tried to shake my head to clear my vision but i only felt more pain. my head began to bob untill my sight was completley gone. i could just hear muffled and inunderstable voices. then all the sudden, everything went out. i was gone.
