Hello there everyone! This is the fourth chapter of the ongoing series: "City of Morals". I do apologize for being unable to upload this sooner even though it's shorter than the first three chapters. But in my defense, I've been reading a book about writing itself. I felt the need to have some kind of guide on writing, because I can't objectively say whether I'm doing it right or wrong, but then again, there is really NO correct or wrong way to do it--Only better or worse ways, really. So for those that have read this, you might notice a few changes in my style, though I'm not sure whether it's an improvement or not. So it's up to you to tell me if it's become better or worse. So as always, rates, faves and comments are appreciated.

Anyway, on with the show!

Alexander pressed through the halls of Hotel d'Arc. The hotel's rotten floor was laden with a faded carpet and creaked under his weight, barely masking the other cracks of the wooden floor that had been termites' abode for years. His eyes sneaked a peek towards his left and right as he went into an intersection, a cautious and almost hidden movement to see if anyone followed him. The invisible flutters of wind met him, and yet he wasn't convinced that none had followed. Here and there, he stepped on a few scratches on the carpets, the same ones that were present on the scraped pieces on the wall that were supposed to be the wallpapers.

He went to another intersection and came to meet an old and tired looking otter that had white furs under his chin. Alex met his eyes and the otter nodded in a silent approval towards him before passing each other. Taking that as a cue, he stepped into the elevator later. He pressed on the button and it opened in less than a second, signaling that nobody's used it, yet. He went in and it closed behind him then took a look at the floors up to the eighth floor. He ignored them and produced a key from his pocket and jammed it on a slot beside the emergency button. The elevator rumbled in protest before it recognized the command and whirs a distinct sound as it brought the rhino up to the 9th floor.

He tightened his grip on the plastic bag filled with all kinds of fruits, vegetables, meat, and--he dug his hands into the bunch, feeling something metallic, deadly inside. Just in case he needed it. The elevator tinged and the automatic doors opened and revealed a shadowed room, the only light illuminating it coming only from the elevator. Stepping out of the elevator, it closed behind him, along with it, the light, leaving him in the darkness. His body made no reaction in being drenched in the veils of the darkness, no muscle twitches nor tension. Moving forward, his feet fell on the floor until he felt the still sensation of a wall in front of him. He used his vacant hand to slip into his pocket and touched upon the crevices of the familiar key. He snatched it and pushed it into the hidden knob and opened it.

He entered and closed the door behind him, pushing it without much of a force to preserve the silence of the morning. He set the goods by the table beside the door and collapsed on a couch. The poor seat squeaking as it bore down the forceful weight of the rhino.

Alex inhaled and breathed out thick air. His hands drifted towards his temples and pushed against his thickened skull, expert fingers pushing the lumped veins, unclogging the blood and letting them flow free, along with them, the thorny memories of his difficult escape with his difficult captive. A sharp sting on his chest snapped at him and reminded him that he shouldn't be exerting much force today, lest the wounds would open again. He halted his ministrations, and felt the pain on his chest receding. Drenching himself in silence, the many voices of worries on his head stifled before they came to a complete silence. It wouldn't last.

His companion would wake up any minute now, and with the cat's history of undesirable reactions, the rhino was sure that the cat would be very violent. He just wished that Ryleigh wouldn't force him to do anything strenuous. He didn't want his hands bloodied at such an early time.

He scrunched his eyes as a ray of light strayed through the parting between the curtains and he decided that it was time to wake the cat up. He flicked the light switch on, baring the whole room to be seen. Of course, he could've just opened the curtains, but that would leave them exposed. There are eyes lurking everywhere, eyes red with hatred, eyes that are searching specifically for them. And they would search, even in a room on the ninth floor of an unknown hotel that supposedly only had eight floors.

His eyes gazed over the room that he called home for so many times. It was spacious, at least for a big guy that lived alone, and with enough furniture to make the supposed vast space look minute.

A red carpet filled the whole of the floor, soft to the touch and viable to lie down on. Placed on the windows were curtains, a combination of the same red of the carpet and another with a bright orange color draped over each other. A sofa lay near the door that he came from, in front of it was a wide screen TV as well as a CD player over it. He noticed dust clinging on the screen of the TV. He had to clean that up later.

To the other side of the room was a space that was the kitchen, a partition divided it counter to the area that he was on. Above the partition were different kitchen equipments and dining utensils, a stove here, an oven there and a sink as well.

Besides the partition was the bathroom--he definitely needed a bath, maybe later, after the feline's fury surges. In front of him, just behind the couch was a bed, sized enough to accommodate two people of his bulk although that was never necessary.

Atop the bed was the slim figure of the cat, the sheets of the bed pulled down from his body. His figure barely had any of the redness that it had a day before. Alex already cleaned him up before he departed for the grocery this day, although not without fear that the cat would wake up in the middle of it; He even had to restrain himself from injecting another dose of tranquilizer on the cat. Strips of bandages wrapped the cat's torso and it almost looked invisible as it meshed with Ryleigh's fur. Alex wouldn't have been able to do that if the cat was awake.

The rhino would've preferred the cat asleep, if only the little guy didn't seem like he was suffering during his slumber. Even now, through the silence, he could hear the cat whimpering and wrestling against an invisible intruder among the sheets of the bed, the same way that he did when he chained him. Dear god, he chained him. Alex would never forgive himself if he did that again. The cat may as well have had flashbacks of the time he had with the horses, all chained up.

He sat on the bed beside the cat, softly landing despite of his weight. He eyed the cat's face and saw how apparent he was suffering through his sleep. The cat's closed eyes rippled, as if he was awake and was forcing his eyes shut, refusing to see something terrible.

Without warning Ryleigh gasped for air, the cat's breath meshing with the tart smell of his own sweat. Alexander bit his lip, and sat on a chair beside the cat, ready for the cat's rage.

"I'm...not A SLUT!"

Slut!

Ryleigh darted from his bed, he gasped as his lungs begged for licks of air, and yet they can't seem to absorb any inch of it even if he desperately breathed in. His frantic eyes shot rapidly in all directions again and again, looking for the clawed monsters that were about to devour him, for the tenth time. Just when will the nightmares stop? ...Nightmare? When did he sleep?

It was then that he remembered the events that led to his unconsciousness. It felt like the memories just came crashing down and lashed on his head like a whip and he's left there, completely defenseless amidst all the chaos. The swift but vivid memory of being rudely stabbed in the neck by something sharp almost made him wince in pain. And yet, he couldn't remove the face that registered on his head amidst it all.

"You're up" A voice rumbled, it was Alex.

Ryleigh's frantic eyes shot to where the voice came from, it was towards his side. He turned his head and the instant his eyes met Alex's emerald pupils, a mask of pure hatred took over his face.

"What the fuck did you do to me?!" Ryleigh shouted, his claws pushing out from their sheath. His claws dug on a soft cloth by his lap as he snarled on the rhino.

Alex showed neither reaction nor any emotion. He stayed seated on a chair beside Ryleigh, relaxed, staring blankly at the cat, "I got you out," he said.

"You fucking stabbed me!"

The rhino's eyes twitched. Ryleigh could almost see that the rhino was baring his canines but it was gone in an instant, "You wouldn't listen to me"

"Why the fuck would I listen to you? You chained me!"

"I had to do it! You were harming yourself!"

"And what? You think chaining me would help? You have no fucking idea what I was going through, you only made it worse!"

"RYLEIGH!" Alex boomed, his voice filling the expanse of the room. Its volume seemed to slam at Ryleigh's ears and also his body, enough that the cat almost collapsed on the surface he was kneeling in. A ringing whirred through his ears as he swallowed an unexpected lump at his throat, surprised to the sudden outburst of the rhino. Ryleigh's wild eyes gaped at Alex, and he whimpered when he saw how furious the rhino was, his usual gentleness, gone on a fit of rage over Ryleigh's egotistic outburst. He saw the rhino's muzzle clench and heard him take a deep breath, puffing his chest out. He looked like he was about to scream at Ryleigh for the second time, and tried dragging himself away from chesty rhino. The cat clenched his muzzle shut and bit on his lip as he braced himself for what was about to come.

What only came were ragged whispers, "Look...Ryleigh," Alex breathed through each word, "I don't deserve the way you're treating me right now," he breathed again, "I got you out as promised...the least you could do is cooperate"

The cat whimpered again, the rhino's sincere green eyes stared at his own and he felt the rhino's gaze beam at him, flashing him with an emotion that could only have been guilt. He turned away from the rhino as the reality of the situation dawned on him. Alex was right. All he ever wanted was to help the cat--all for his own good because Alex pitied him. And what did Ryleigh do all those time? Act like a spoiled brat? Think only of himself while someone else was trying so hard to get him out of that shithole of a place without asking anything in return? Alex was downright altruistic. Ryleigh was a total bitch.

"I--I'm--"

"Confused, scared" Alex said and sighed, "I can't blame you for that. You've been down there for years. But please...understand that I'm not like those people. I got you out for Christ's sake. Isn't that enough to say that I, for the least, am a good person?"

"Y-you are...It's just..." he sniffled and tried to open his muzzle to speak again, but what came out was an indiscernible crackling sound. He felt a familiar heat rush towards his eyes, and what came with them were his tears. He covered his face in shame as he started to cry, his own silent sobs filling the whole of his awareness.

"Ryleigh" the rhino whispered to his ears, "I'm sorry for shouting at you, I just haven't had any rest is all" Alex stood from his chair and crawled towards the sulking cat. His burly arms gently wrapped around the smaller figure and pulled him into his chest. The sulking cat felt the rhino's gesture, but yet still refused to let his tears out altogether. The rhino's pelt felt warm to the touch, and he felt the rhino's hands rub the small of his back, a determined strength behind it but still full of the pronounced gentleness that spoke the whole of Alex's character_._

For once, Ryleigh tried to unlock the gates of his mind to let someone enter, leave himself vulnerable. To give someone a chance to give him an understanding of how that person really is. Ryleigh didn't expect the rhino's hands to snake down his rump and stretch his anal ring with his fingers, nor did he expect him to force his own paws into his pants to rub his throbbing erection. None of that. This is Alex.

Ryleigh paws receded from his face, resting them on the rhino's chest. He felt himself ease into the cleft in between the rhino's pectorals, his nose digging into it and swathing him full of Alex's scent. Ryleigh inhaled again, and felt the cool tang of the rhino's scent envelop him like a cloak. Alex didn't smell anything like those guys did when they held him like this. He didn't smell of cigarettes, beer, nor musk. Alex smelled of mint. No malice underneath.

Ryleigh had to trust his heart instead of the ever-present fear that gripped at it. The fear that told him of fight or flight. No. He's staying. Alex was a person to be trusted, and Ryleigh could trust him well enough that he knew that Alex wouldn't take advantage of him, he never did.

He sobbed and let his tears flow down on Alex's shirt. Ryleigh's arms snaked from the rhino's chest and crawled towards his back and he pulled him closer into a hug. Alex smiled at Ryleigh's gesture. He leaned down towards the top of the cat's head and gave a kiss and as soon as Ryleigh felt Alex's lips touch his head, it brought a tingling sensation in his spine. Not the kind that he had whenever he feared that someone was going to bed him. This was the new kind of tingling that was so distant, so far-off; A tingling that met him in the form of the rhino's lips; A startling sensation that told him that it was okay and someone cares for him. Alex does. The last of his sobs came and later on he removed his paws from Alex's back and the latter took this as a cue to pull himself away from the cat.

Ryleigh whimpered, "Sorry about that...I've been...fuck", he tightened his fist, "I've just been out of it ever since--I don't even want to think about it"

"Don't," Alex placed his hand on Ryleigh's shoulder

"I can't...I feel like they're still here...haunting me. In my thoughts, in my--"

"In your dreams?"

"How'd you know?" Ryleigh asked,

"I was always watching you," Alex said, scratching his thick neck and giving a sheepish gaze at the cat, "Even when you were asleep, you didn't really look like you were at peace"

"It's the nightmares" Ryleigh said, shifting in the surface he was lying on which he now know was a bed, "They're terrible"

"I know. Look, you even broke my sheets" he said then his muzzle curved into a grin.

Ryleigh whimpered and looked down, seeing the the said sheets, complete with scratch marks from his own paws, "Sorry..."

Alex smiled, "Don't worry about it" he said, "You hungry?"

At the mention of the word, Ryleigh felt his stomach grumble, "I haven't eaten for days,"

Alex chuckled, "I tried," he said, "I'll cook something up, what'll you have?"

Ryleigh looked at him, a baffled expression on his face, "...Food?"

Alex slapped his head, "What do they feed you down there? - No, don't answer that. I'll handle it. Just stay put, okay?"

Ryleigh nodded and Alex left him and went for some other part of the room, the kitchen, probably. Come to think of it, Ryleigh doesn't even know what a kitchen even looks like anymore. Nor does he know what 'Real Food' is. Years of being secluded in the Dungeon voided his brain of any notion of what the outside world looks like. He never thought that it would matter. The way Godric watched him day-by-day through the monitors and through his own personal visits made it seem impossible for escape. An escape, that only became possible because of a certain rhino's help.

I'm out, I'm out, he told himself. So shouldn't he be celebrating? Perhaps his escape--freedom still hasn't sunk in yet. He felt something...a shadowy thought that still stalked him; A thought that refused to leave him, even on the safe confines of where he was right now. But he knows what it was. He just wished that he could lose them on the wild jungle that was his head. But they were predators, born out from his own hell to hunt and haunt him to kill him from the inside. They were his nightmares, a bitter remembrance of his terrible nights at the Dungeon. A remembrance that seemed to take a physical form around his neck.

The cat gripped at it, his paws' furred skin holding on a metallic object that choked him and left him gasping for breath. An object--Chains that connected him into the deepest recesses of the Dungeon. Chains that are held by Godric on the other end.

Ryleigh gasped as he saw the huge rottweiler grin at him and gave a tug on the leash and Ryleigh pulled himself against it, making him blink at the strength of Godric. And when Ryleigh opened his eyes again, the Rottweiler turned into something else, two beings instead of one, beings with the faces of Cedrick and Robbie. He felt his throat tighten and vibrate but his paws migrated to his muzzle in a second, clamping on them to prevent himself from screaming.

I'm here, I'm here I'm here, I'm out! he told himself in a mantra and closed his eyes. He concentrated on the words, pushing the strangling images out. It took a while before the presence was gone. Only then, did he open his eyes and found the figures gone, but not forgotten.

Ryleigh found his paws tightly clenched around his neck and consciously eased them out. He took a huge breath and rubbed his fingers around his temples, in an attempt to mimic how Alex did it to him. It did no good whatsoever as his fingers flexed and his claws slid out and scraped his skin. It was dull, but with the forceful tension that he had in his paws, it hurt him a little. He focused on his breathing instead, trying to calm himself down. He closed his eyes and felt his muscles lighten up rather than its usual reaction of tightening.

He sighed and breathed in. A scent with no aphrodisiac oils present nor any hint of sex. What came instead was the scent of flowers that reminded him of his private tub room. It eased him that the scent he loved could be present in some place other than his tub room which unfortunately was still connected to the Dungeon. It gave him the feeling of sanctuary again, a feeling that wasn't the same but yet, similar. Then it dawned on him like a snake slithering along his ankles and biting him with the venom that was euphoria. He was no longer in the Dungeon! It was true freedom.

A smile crept to his face, and he felt a little crazy for that. But what the hell? He was finally out. Isn't that enough reason to be happy?

He stood and decided to be a good kitty and try to fold the sheets, like the way those maids do it at Dungeon, and with that Ryleigh gave himself a mental smack on the head. Stop thinking about that goddamn place!

He held the sheets on one end and held the opposite end with his other paw. He brought them together and straightened the folded sides carefully. Another smile crept on his face when he saw how easy this was and so he repeated the steps until it was all done in one compact square. He took a seat on the bed's edge, patted the sheets and was left staring on the floor. What now?

He looked around Alex's dwelling, seeing, for the first time where he really was, now that he was calmer, less violent. It was...different. For starters, there wasn't any rutting or moaning, not even the faintest scent of musk, and--he sniffed the air again and absorbed the same floral scent that was in his tub. It made him smile; glad that somebody other than himself liked scents other than sex. His gaze moved around again. The place was much spacier, and definitely there were more furnitures, not just a bed. There was a closet and a dresser beside him. He barely had any need for those down at the Dungeon. Maybe now he might think about getting something to wear.

Suddenly, he became conscious of his nakedness and he almost grabbed for the folded sheets. But he reminded himself that he was alone, or at least, it was only Alex with him. Now that he thought about it. Had the rhino carried him here naked? He wished not.

His paw touched his torso and found himself numbed to the feeling of being touched. When he looked down, he was met with the sight of bandages wrapped around his torso. In the fit of rage when he woke up, he must have forgotten that he hurt himself during his last few days on the Dungeon. Did the rhino do this? He had to thank him for that. He looked further down and was met with the sight of himself, wearing shorts. Out of curiosity, he pulled on the bands of the clothing and peered through.

"Do the briefs fit well?"

Ryleigh reflexively let go of the shorts' waistband and it gave him a snap towards his belly, making him yip in reaction. Through his embarrassment, he heard the rhino give a slight chuckle.

"I thought I might give you something to wear before I drag you out of that place," he said approaching him, "Here."

Ryleigh looked at the rhino's hand, which was holding a plate over it. There were some sliced apples on it and the cat graciously took one of them. He brought it up to his nose and gave them a sniff.

"It's not poisoned," Alex said.

"I know" Ryleigh mumbled. Old habits die hard. Ryleigh bit on it and its juice spread throughout his tongue and its sweetness reminded him of how hungry he was. In a few seconds, the first slice disappeared in his mouth and he spat out the seeds that he didn't swallow over his urgency of eating. He placed the remains on the plate and took another slice and started munching on it.

Alex beamed his teeth at him, placed the plate down on the bed and sat down beside Ryleigh, "Food's, not gonna be ready for another hour, so I hope that's enough for now,"

"It is," Ryleigh said before taking another slice, gobbling it down and stopping for a moment to speak, "Sometimes I don't even have time to eat breakfast," he said and took another slice, "Other mouths to feed"

"That early?" Alex asked, and brought the plate up to the cat's mouth to let him expel the seeds. Ryleigh put them out and rubbed his muzzle with the back of his paw before speaking again, "Yeah," he said and licked his muzzle, "It's disgusting to say, but during those times, their cum is all I have for breakfast--even lunch"

Alex gave him a sympathetic look, "I'm sorry,"

"You didn't do anything wrong," Ryleigh said.

"I could've been there earlier"

"Alex," Ryleigh's face turned grim, "I've been there for years, another few weeks wouldn't hurt."

The rhino stayed silent, and yet, Ryleigh saw the rhino's lip contort, as if wanting to say something but stopping himself from doing so.

Ryleigh sighed, "It's Godric's fault, not yours. You weren't the one who allowed people to rape me," Rape, the word stung, "I don't blame you. I blame Godric"

Alex looked like he pondered over it then gave a smile, although looking a bit forced, "Thank you"

"No. Thank you" Ryleigh said and took Alex's hands on his own, shaking them albeit uneasily, "How would I ever repay you?"

Alex dislodged from Ryleigh and waved his hands in front of him, "No need to thank me"

"I have to!" Ryleigh said, shooting up from the bed. Alex backed, surprised with the cat, "Only a few people have ever been nice and honest to me!" Ryleigh yelled, "I have to pay you back! E-even if--Even if..." Ryleigh's voice shrunk. He held his arm self-consciously, his gaze falling down on the floor, "--Even if I had to let you mount me. I just hope that I'll satisfy you because..." Ryleigh shriveled, "That's the only thing I know"

Ryleigh wished he could look up to see how the rhino's face looked like. To see whether the rhino would take up on his offer or not. He knew that the Alex had a taste for the male flesh like those other guys. Ryleigh already kissed him before, and the rhino returned it. But he knew Alex was different, he didn't force anything on him. This time, he was presenting himself with his own will, as his own fleshy token of gratitude. Even if it would hurt him.

But Alex barely said anything. It unnerved Ryleigh and he pulled himself into a hug, trying to repel the cold muteness in the atmosphere.

"No..." Alex said, and Ryleigh looked up at the rhino. And when he looked up, he met the gray face of the rhino tearing up. Ryleigh felt himself shake into a panic, thinking that he unwittingly put the rhino through a mental torture by offering him his body. Ryleigh's throat went dry and all he could do was give the rhino a hug. Alex returned the gesture and wrapped his shaken warmth around Ryleigh. It was just a few minutes ago that Ryleigh was crying in Alex's arms, and now it was a total reverse.

"You'll...never" Alex rumbled through his sobs, "Have...to do...that...again"

He felt the rhino's chest reverberate, each of his words thrumming against his ears. Ryleigh wished he could say something to comfort the rhino, something to calm him down. But he couldn't respond, finding his throat still dry. He cursed himself for being ill-equipped in dealing with these kinds of situations, cursed himself for being stupid. All he knows to do was that. And that wasn't what Alex wanted. But maybe...this was all he needs. He just wished he was doing it right. Ryleigh let Alex hold him for minutes, surprised at himself for being comfortable under another person's touch. Maybe this isn't so bad after all.

When Alex had stopped through his sobbings, Ryleigh pushed himself off from the rhino, and gave Alex a squeeze on his burly arms, "Are you okay?" the cat asked.

"Yes, I'm sorry for that" Alex replied, teary eyed, "You're a good person Ryleigh, you shouldn't have had to go through all of that"

"Was that why you cried?" Ryleigh asked

Alex moved his teary eyes away from Ryleigh, "Maybe," he said, "I just felt so responsible for you. Life's just not been fair for you as it has been for me"

"Then blame life," Ryleigh said, patting Alex's shoulder, "And maybe blame Godric as well,"

Alex chuckled and Ryleigh smiled as he saw the rhino was lit up. He gave another squeeze on Alex's muscled arms and spoke, "At least let me give you even just a piece of my gratitude"

Alex squinted his eyes on the cat, "What?"

"This..."

Ryleigh brought his heels up and embraced the rhino's neck. He gave a slight peck on the Alex's lip. The rhino seemed to hesitate for a second, but another lick from Ryleigh was all it needed before Alex parted his strong muzzle to give entrance to Ryleigh's tongue. The cat's velvety flesh slithered its way into the rhino's maw and met with Alex's tongue. Ryleigh's fleshy tongue teased the tip of the rhino's before sliding over and under it. Alex returned the cat's advances and started using his greater tongue's strength to push against the cat's smaller tongue. The smaller fur moaned as he felt Alex's tongue give into his advances and took that as a cue to adjust to the rhino's gentle aggressiveness. He relished in the rhino's progress into his own smaller maw, the warmth of Alex's tongue striking him as mysterious...exotic...

Passionate

Ryleigh moaned and pulled away, and Alex let him but not before the cat gave a slight peck on the rhino's lips again. He unfurled his arms around Alex's neck and spoke, "How's my gratitude?"

Alex grinned, "Taste like apples," he chuckled and spoke again, "I can see why nobody could resist you"

Ryleigh giggled, but the sound of his mirth was overwhelmed with the sudden rumbling of his stomach. Alex's chuckle broke into a louder guffaw to which Ryleigh flushed, "I think it's time to eat" Alex said, "Just wait here while I get the food, we'll eat on the couch, you can watch TV if you want"

Ryleigh nodded and Alex strode off into the kitchen. He went for the couch and landed softly on it, noting how different sitting feels like when he was wearing something. The prickly rawness that reminded him of how vulnerable his rump was to insect bites was not there, although he had bigger problems in the Dungeon other than insect bites. The feeling of clothing was so new to him that he felt really appreciative of the simple equipment. He was so used to the feeling of being naked that he always felt like a big, naked baby. It felt so unnatural that he felt the need to get used to it.

Clothes! He giggled to himself, he had to ask Alex to buy him some clothes in the future, or better! He'd go out to buy himself some.

He played with the thought while he took a black rectangular object that he remembered was a remote on his paws. He fondled with it and randomly pushed on some of the buttons before he finally clicked on the big red button and the TV went to life.

"Hey I just met you! And this is craaaaaazy! But here's my number--" He meeped as the image of a singing female fox sprang on the TV. But he had to remind himself that they wouldn't come out of the screen. He sat straight and picked the remote control on the floor before finding the button to change channel and clicked on it.

Different images registered as he switched channels by the second. An unrealistic picture of a cat running around with a little brown mouse, a group of young twinky guys singing on the beach about how a girl doesn't know how beautiful she is, a show about people playing pranks on other people while a little green guy with horns walks on the screen afterwards. He couldn't decide what to watch so he just flipped it channel-to-channel.

He watched in awe of how different 'Entertainment' was in this amazing thing called Television. For all he knew, entertainment came in a realistic, horrid and fleshy package called 'Sex'. He was glad that some people have enough decency to derive amusement other than to the expense of other people. A tear rolled from his eye as he sat in joy watching decent and clean entertainment in the television.

A channel of interest came in and he stopped clicking on the remote. A myriad of messages scrolled on the bottom of the screen while a lion in a suit was talking at the center of the screen, speaking about different matters all at once. The cat's eyes gleamed as he read on the messages on the screen.

'Burnt warehouse workers, evacuated safely, no casualties. Giovanni Wellings saves lives of abused orphan children. Storm arriving at MC's hemisphere tomorrow! Burnt body found dead at MC Square. Rape victim found locked in an apartment, suspect still on the loose'

Then Ryleigh stopped reading as he notice the same message repeat itself again. He switched his attention over at the lion who he now knows was giving the full info about the scrolled messages. The lion seemed to say something of someone reporting live on MC Square about a burnt body before the image on the screen switched to a different fur of the canine species. He tried listening to what the guy was saying but deemed it unimportant. He clicked on the button to change channel but not before he accidentally dropped it. He cursed himself for being clumsy and picked it up before looking back at the TV, only to be met with a familiar ebony face crying while he was being interviewed by the reporter. And as soon as the face registered, he gasped and dropped the remote control again.

It was Robbie.
