Nostalgia of a Dragon

Andlat hummed merrily as he hiked through the Saawdajeje mountains, but his merriment would not last long. Dark clouds on the horizon predicted that rain would soon spoil his hike.

"They don't look all that dark." He mused to himself. "Probably just a short shower and then the sun will come back." All the same, he resolved to look for shelter.

It was not long before the fox came across a large, albeit shallow cave. He was not sure why, but the cave felt like the perfect shelter from the approaching storm.

"I'll take any port in a storm." He walked into the cave and not a moment too soon. The wind picked up and rain began to fall in buckets. "Guess I underestimated it." He shrugged and walked farther into the cave, figuring that some spelunking would be entertaining while he waited out the rain. The cave was deeper than it had appeared from the outside and he soon had lost sight of the entrance. Oddly, the cave had only one path and it seemed to lead far into the heart of the mountain. Both stalactites and stalagmites appeared around the vulpine explorer as he headed farther in.

The sudden sound of approaching footsteps made the fox's ears perk up. He gasped as he saw who was making the footsteps. It was a bipedal, hominid figure about six feet tall made entirely out of gold and precious jewels! Its face had no features, so Andlat could not be sure if it could see or hear him. He followed it at a short distance, however, just to be safe. Where was this curious figure heading? Andlat had to know.

The figure led Andlat into a large chamber. He looked around in awe at the large pile of gold, silver, rubies, and myriad other precious items. What was this wondrous place that the fox had discovered? He yelped as suddenly, a hand grabbed the scruff of his neck and pulled him back. He turned and discovered that he had been grabbed by another gold figure. The figure grabbed him by both arms and carried him down to the heap.

"Where are you taking me?" Andlat asked, squirming as best as he could. The figure held him tightly, but not in a way that would hurt him.

"Do not struggle." The voice had an accent that the fox could not place and it clearly did not come from the figure that held him. He looked around and spied an enormous lizard sitting atop the pile, his tongue slithering in and out of his mouth as he watched the fox's approach.

"A dragon?" Andlat asked with wide eyes. The dragon nodded.

"I am Najeesukash." The dragon replied. "And your name?"

"Andlat." The fox replied, still struggling against the gold figure's grasp. The dragon smiled as he studied the fox. A second figure emerged from the heap of treasure and came over to the fox. With ease, the figure stripped the fox of his jeans and t-shirt, leaving him before the dragon in just his white briefs. The dragon's head came forward on its slender neck and inspected the fox.

"Strange." Najeesukash said softly.

"What is strange?" Andlat asked.

"As you may be aware, dragons used to be a bit more public." The dragon chuckled, a deep, rumbling sound. "We would fly around the countryside, burning villages and stealing what we wanted." He gestured to the pile of treasure he was lying on. "We were regarded as monsters, stealing princesses and eating brave knights." He chuckled again from nostalgia. "I assume you are also aware of the fact that dragons use magic?"

"Yeah." Andlat replied simply, his tail wrapping around his waist to hide his underwear and shame from the enormous dragon. To be honest, he did not think magic was real, but he had thought the same about dragons until today.

"The point that I am trying to make, Andlat, is that I was feeling nostalgic for the days of yore, if you will." Najeesukash paused again. "I cast a simple spell, a spell that I have cast countless and many times before." He gazed down at the fox, who had stopped struggling for the time being. "A spell of summons."

"So you called me here?" Andlat asked in confusion. The dragon grinned.

"You're a credit to your species, master fox." The dragon said. "But no, I did not purposefully call you here. My spell of summons was to summon, well, a princess." He chuckled. "I am sure you can see the hilarity here."

"So, you're going to let me go, right?"

"Well, no. You see, I cannot conceive of my spell going awry, so you must be a princess."

"I'm a guy." Andlat said dryly. The dragon chuckled again and turned to leave as his figures carried the fox away from the pile of treasure and over to a large wooden table that Andlat had not noticed amidst all of the glorious riches. The legs of the table had ornate gold scrollwork, justifying its presence in this enormous treasure chamber. The golden figures set him down on the table and leather straps, adorned with silver leaf, slithered their way over his wrists and ankles, holding him flat to the table's surface.

One of the figure's hands morphed into a small blade and it gingerly cut off Andlat's underwear, leaving the fox naked from the tip of his ears to the tips of his toes. Out of thin air, one of the figures produced a large white diaper.

"Hey!" Andlat growled, trying to sit up, but the figures disregarded him, slipping the unfolded diaper under his butt. He stared in horror as the figures taped the diaper around his waist. The diaper was unbelievably thick, but fit the curves of his body perfectly, emphasizing the curves of his feminine rump to make him seem more girly. His eyes widened with horror as the figures next slipped a pair of white tights over his legs, rows of pink ruffles and lace on the rump. The tights fit perfectly over his diaper, much to the fox's growing dismay.

The figures lifted the fox up onto his footpaws, one holding him steady as the other produced a pink chiffon baby dress. The dress seemed to be drowning in lace, ribbons, and bows. It floated down over the fox, resting delicately on his body and making no efforts to hide his frilly rump. He whined loudly as the figures set to work slipping large pink mittens over his paws and a matching bonnet onto his head. They picked him up and carried him back over to the pile, where Najeesukash waited. The dragon grinned widely as he studied the fox from his bonnet to the feet of his tights. Even as he studied the fox, one of the figures tied a large pink ribbon into a bow on his tail where the white fluff gave way to red fur.

"Who is this pretty little flower?"

"My name is Princess Emma Rose Lilly." Andlat felt his mouth move to say the words, but he had no control over it, his body dipping into a shallow curtsey. Najeesukash chuckled with delight.

"Isn't that better?" The dragon's head slithered in. "Oh! Is someone still a baby princess in puffy vixen panties?" This proved to be more than the fox could take and he began to cry loudly. "Uh-oh! The baby princess is a little grouchy!" Andlat eeped as a large pink and white pacifier found its way into his muzzle, muffling his cries. "Better put her down for her nap." Andlat could do nothing as the golden figure carried him to a lacy bassinet and set him down in it. He tried to sit up, but he could not with the thick diapers throwing off his sense of balance.

Najeesukash smiled down at him. One of the golden figures gently adjusted the bonnet on his head as Najeesukash made soothing sounds.

"Sweet dreams, your majesty." He whispered without a touch of mockery. "I think it won't be long before you behave like a perfect little princess."
