I was a little on the edge of making it adult here.(which I probaly will in the series) The island was something I drew on my take-everywhere idea pad. I was really bored so I took twenty minutes and drew a simple drawing. As I said I would make this one longer, so I did. Hopefully this is more quality then the last two, which I left the snakes out on accident. Luckily, I managed to get them in. I almost called the fireplaces furnaces(-_-) for some reason. That would of been odd. I wouldn't exactly want to sleep by a furnace more then a fireplace.

"That wasn't the best idea." Cynder thought to herself. She had used the crystal and was headed back to her room. "It's nice to know he cared enough to stop, I think I'll get him back later. Of course not in a painful way." Then she heard a voice in a room nearby and decided to check it out. She went over to the door and tried to hear the words being said. She couldn't tell who it was and all the words weren't clear.

"You may have noticed...snakes that bound...convexity can remove them if..." The first voice was saying.

"Couldn't that...why are the snakes gone now..."

"Use of convexity...temporarily removed...need to stay within range...could hurt severly..."

"Also leave the..."

She heard the sound of the two dragons start walking towards the door. She almost didn't move, trying to comprehend the little she heard. She regained her senses quick enough to get out of sight, noticing they weren't coming her way. She sat down where she was and thought on the subject. She couldn't make sense of anything so she continued to her room, hoping to be informed on the matter. Again, before getting to her room she was interrupted again, this time by Spyro. He seemed to be a bit anxious about something.

"So, Cynder, sorry about the arena incident."

"It's okay, but did you...nevermind." She thought better of asking him about the snakes that used to bind them.

"What? Is something wrong."

"No, I'm fine. You know, there really is nothing to do here anymore. Maybe we could go out and do something."

"Sounds great, maybe we could try one of the floating islands, I saw a pretty cool one close to the land. We just use the same technique as we did for the temple."

"Okay, let's just hope we don't use all our energy doing this, I'd prefer to actually do something on this island."

They were soon out of the temple, looking for the island that Spyro had found. It took them longer then they expected, though it was worth the time. The island being relatively small, had four slightly curved spikes of land jutting out of the bottom from being seperated from the planet. Along with this a river emptied out off the side from a lake on a much larger island above it. There was a small hill with a cave in the side, although seemingly large for a hill. They prepared to do their updraft technique except this time they would both have to do it for one another, making it more challenging for the second to go. Cynder volunteered to go second because she was more experienced with this, having used it carry spyro from the center of the planet. She quickly made a bubble of wind around spyro in which he barely had to fly. He sped across the space between the the planet and the island. Once he got to the island he made a circle of fire beneath Cynder. Though a little bit tired she took off and went across the distance, making it to the island.

"Maybe we should of thought of something easier to do." Spyro said

"Like anything else would be fun." Cynder was ready to get back at spyro who decided to sit close to the river. She walked over to him and, before he could even notice, shoved him into the river. He, anything but gracefully, tumbled with the current until washing up on the side sputtering salty water from his mouth.

"Did you have to do that?"

"Payback." She laughed and stuck her tongue out at him.

Soaking wet, he walked over to her and tried to knock her in. She knowing him was ready and pushed him again.

"Now I'm the one who needs to get some payback." Spyro coughed out along with more water."

"We'll see about that." She splashed water in his face and ran into a bush.

"Really, do I really have to do this?"

She waited for him to get closer, as it wasn't long because there weren't very many bushes. Once he got to her bush she jumped out before he could check in it and shoved him into the water again.

"I give up." Spyro just sat down and spat the water out of his mouth for the third time.

"The sun is going down. Looks like your going second this time." Cynder grinned at him.

"Why? I thought you were better at it then me."

"Exactly, thats why I get to choose who goes first."

"Sometimes I don't know why I stick with these things."

"Thats because I stuck with you all the time, so you have to do the same thing for me."

Spyro sighed and lit a circle of fire beneath Cynder again. She flew over and helped Spyro across.

They headed inside the temple except Spyro stayed with Cynder even though they were supposed to be headed seperate ways.

"Spyro, why are you not going to your room?"

Spyro sighed, "Come on, you need to talk to Volteer."

They went to Volteer's study, where he was studying a crystal. He looked up and invited them in.

"I'm guessing your here so I can tell Cynder of the snakes around both of your necks." Volteer said

"Yes, Volteer could you explain the details to her."

"Okay, Cynder, you may or may not of noticed the snakes disappeared after you defeated Malefor. Well, they didn't exactly, the snakes are just temporarily disable by the extremely overpowering use of convexity. The snakes are gone now but they will return very soon. If you two are far from each other the snakes could kill you both instantly, or at the very least severly injure you. You two must stay within range or...you know what will happen."

Cynder was shocked, she thought that they were gone along with Malefor. This could mean many things for her future. "If convexity disabled them then can't it destroy them?"

"The only reason they were disabled was because of Malefor. When he tried to kill you at the core his proximity to the snakes when he attacked disabled them. To do it again you two both would need to make your's twenty or thirty times stronger to even disable it for a minute. So from now on everything you do must been done together, whether or not you enjoy it though will be all you. In other words you must sleep, eat, fly, and so on together, or at least be really close.

This brought up some dirty thoughts in Cynder's head which she immediatly shook off. "Well then, let's get going Spyro. Will it be your room or mine?"

Spyro although silent through the exchange said, "Your room is bigger then mine, I think." He had other reasons which he would enjoy later.

After about ten minute they got to Cynder's room. Which was, in fact, bigger then Spyro's.

Spyro could smell Cynder's scent everywhere in the room, he loved it. "So Cynder, where are you going to sleep?

"I guess over there." She lifter her claw and pointed towards a corner of the room which had an unlit fireplace.

Spyro looked around but all he saw was either the fireplace, Cynder, or cold-looking areas near open windows. "Can I sleep by the fireplace to?"

Cynder wanted to be close to him so she said, "Yes."

Spyro went over and lit the fireplace and laid down close to it. He thought to himslef, "Now I have more freetime to focus on Cynder. Maybe peace won't be as boring as Cynder thinks. He looked over to the spot where she laid down and noticed, though she was relatively close, that her back was to him. He turned back around and dozed off thinking of her.

Cynder waited until he fell asleep before turning around. She admired him for a moment before, like him, falling asleep thinking about him.
