My life as a furry
(Answers and Field trips Part 1)
{On the ways to the dorm lobby with Ian (3:20PM)}
Ian ran passed all of his friends so he could get to the lobby before his family left. Many people were amazed at how fast he could run. Ian finally made it to the dorm lobby and found his family waiting. Ian gave his little brother a hug and then his mother.
"Sorry I'm late how are you guys!?" Asked Ian
"Its ok, iv been good hun." Said Ms.Russo
"Iv been really good!" Taioyoh exclaimed
"I'm going to head to the restroom ill be right back" Ms. Russo interrupted
"Anyways guess what, I got a boyfriend!" Taioyoh cheered
"Really what's his name?" Ian asked in a joyful tone
"Tyler" Taioyoh replied
Unknown to the two brothers at the time Ray walked in to the dorm lobby and overheard the last couple of sentences. Ray walked over to Taioyoh and pushed him against the wall and punched him in the stomach. Seeing this got Ian really mad, he felt a rush of adrenalin flow though him. Ian ran over to Ray grabbed both his hands and kneed him in the stomach as hard as he could repeatedly until he fell to the floor in pain. Then when Ray was on the ground he gave him a good kick in the head knocking him out cold.
"Are you ok Taioyoh?" Ian panted
"Yea just in a lot of pain." Taioyoh answered
"Holy shit did you do that?" Ethan said as he and the rest of the group walked in the lobby
"Um maybe." Ian said uncomfortably
"Wow." Max uttered in amazement
"Nice work!" Luan yelled
Luan then walked over to him and gave him a hug to congratulate him. This action made Ian's cheeks turn red as a tomato but Luan did not see this.
"What is going on here!" Yelled Virgil
"That wackjob attacked me!" Taioyoh yelled (getting off the floor)
"And why would he do that?" Asked Virgil
"Because he is a huge homophobe." Said Ian
The look on Virgil's face changed from angry to sympathetic and warm in a blink of an eye.
"That's horrible lets see if I can help you out. Did anyone else see this?!" asked Virgil
"We did." Said a group of girls in the corner
"So did I." said a Mouse boy in a shy tone
"What's your name anyways?" Virgil asked
"Danny." The mouse boy answered almost inaudibly
*Virgil sighs in relief*
"Ok you are off the hook and ill make sure he is grounded for the night. Please excuse me while I call the school nurse for this idiot." Virgil smirked
"Thanks Virgil." Ian thanked
"What happened?" Asked Ms. Russo
"What did happen?" Ethan repeated
"Ill tell you later" Said Ian
"How about over a meal? Your friends can come too." Ms. Russo questioned
"Ok, is that ok with you guys?" Asked Ian
"Yep" The rest of the group
"Hey Virgil want to come with us?" Ian asked
"I don't want to burden you." Virgil said Politely
"You wont plus I kind of owe you for vouching my innocence" Ian assured him
"Ok if you insist." Virgil agreed
They all walked to the Japanese restaurant not far from the school. Ian felt uncomfortable knowing that he knocked someone out even if it was Ray and he hurt his little brother.
[At the restaurant]
Everyone was sitting at the table, chopsticks in paw, locked in conversation.
"What happened with you and Ray?" Asked Ethan
"My brother was telling me about his boyfriend and-" Ian said before he was inerupted
"Wait he is gay too?" Asked Tony
"No I'm bi." Corrected Taioyoh
"Did not see that one coming." Said Ethan
"And Ray heard him so he attacked Taioyoh." Ian continued
"And Ian got really angry at him and knocked him out." Taioyoh finished
"Seeing him do that to my brother really got my adrenalin pumping. Guess he crossed the line that time." Ian added while picking up a piece of sushi with his chopsticks
"That's great, I'm so happy for you! You finally gave him a taste of his own medicine!" Luan shouted in joy as he hugged Ian in way where his cheek was almost pressed against his own which made him blush
"So Virgil do you have any brothers or sisters?" Asked Ms. Russo
"Yes I have I younger sister and an older brother." Replied Virgil
"What are they like?" Ms. Russo asked
"Well my sister had her first birthday a week ago and well my brother he is well a like you Ian" Virgil answered
"In what ways?" Asked Ian
"Well in personality, kind and he is gay also." Virgil said
"And he was bullied a lot because of it, it was hard for him" Virgil continued starting to sound depressed
"Poor thing" Said Ian knowing exactly how it feels to be in that situation
"I can't stand those kinds of people." Virgil spat
"Don't we all." Max joined in
After Max said that everyone at the table nodded in agreement and continued eating. It was dark before everyone left the restaurant and headed back to the campus. Once back it was late and Ian's family had to leave.
Ian said his goodbyes and gave his mom and brother a hug and watched them walk out the front gate of the school. He let out a yawn and walked to his dorm room. As soon as Ian walked in his room he found Ethan laying in his bed still wearing the same clothes snoring loudly.
Ian was to tired to wake him up and go though an argument with him so he left him be. He went over to his dresser and pulled out his sleepwear and put it on, and got in his own bed. He laid there for an hour unable to sleep until he decided to take a walk.
So he got up put his shoes on and walked to a vending machine, He put a dollar coin in the vending machine pressed a few buttons and a foam cup dropped from it and was then filled with coffee.
As Ian was about to take a sip of his coffee he felt a hand on his shoulder when he looked to see who it was he found himself looking at his gabumon crush Luan.
"Why do you have coffee? Its late." Luan asked
"My roommate is snoring is keeping me up so I'm going to drink this and find something to do" Ian replied like he was ok with it (which he was)
Luan gently took the cup of coffee out of Ian's hand and gave Ian a kind smile.
"Why don't you stay in my room instead? I don't want you to get sick from lack of sleep." Luan pleaded
"Awww your sweet but I don't want to be a burden on you." Ian said politely
"You're my friend you could never be a burden on me" Luan said genuinely with a smile
Ian chuckled and said "How did I ever get such a good friend like you?
Luan blushed at this praise. When Ian saw this he started blushing and thought 'He's even cuter when he blushes!' Ian was snapped out of his thoughts when Luan asked a question
"Why are you blushing?" Asked Luan
"Huh oh that's because..." Ian stuttered
"Your really cute when you blush." Ian Blurted out (not wanting to lie to him)
"Thank you, anyways lets go inside its cold out." Said Luan
Ian and Luan walked back to the dorms. Ian was still blushing this time at the fact he just said what he did. He felt so awkward but he didn't let it show. In no time they were out side Luan's door. Luan pulled out his key and unlocked his door and opened it up.
"After you." Luan motioned
"Thank you kind sir." Ian said politely
Ian walked in the room to find a neat room with a king size bed next to the window.
"I did not know you had one of the signal dorm rooms." Ian said
"Yea you don't mind sharing the king size bed do you?" Luan asked
"No I don't mind." Ian said
They both got in the bed and fell asleep. When Ian awoke he felt well rested. He could not remember a time he slept better. When Ian tried to get up he realized he was trapped by Luan's arm around his stomach, he could also feel him cuddled up behind him.
Ian let the red disappear from his face before moving his hand in back of him and shake the gabumon awake. When Luan awoke he realized how close he was and that his arm was around Ian and retracted it, backing away.
"Sorry Ian." Apologized Luan (while blushing faintly)
"Its fine, you kept me warmer than the blankets did." Ian said
"Did I Now?" Luan chuckled
"Uh huh, anyways we better get ready for school." Ian suggested
They both got out of bed and got their school uniforms and headed to the showers. Once they got to the showers everyone was already there, and like always they saved some showers for them. They got undressed and went into the shower area and turned the showers that were saved for them on.
"Where did you go last night Ian?" Ethan asked while washing his hair
"Your snoring kept me awake so I bunked with Luan." Ian answered while washing his chest
"Sorry bro, my bad" Ethan mummerd
"Its fine I know you cant help it" Responded Ian
*Intercom beeps*
"All students who take biology one and four with Mrs. Willson and Mr. Menzer meet in the auditorium after breakfast thank you." Said the secretary over the intercom
*The sound of a phone being put back on its stand is heard over the intercom signaling the end of the announcement*
"I wonder what that's all about." Ian wondered out loud
"Guess we will find out." Said Luan
{In the auditorium with Luan, Ian, Ethan}
Every one sat in there seats waiting for the announcement. After two minutes of waiting Mrs. Willson (a white tiger) walked on the stage and over to the podium. She cleared her throat before speaking into the microphone attached to the podium.
"Today we will be going on a three day field trip to Cedar lake campgrounds ( the place we really went was not called that but its to much of a hassle to get permission to use the real name) to study nature and some of the unique plants they have. Every one will be paired it groups of two, not only will this person be your tent mate for the remainder of this trip but your buddy slash biology partner also." Said Mrs. Willson
"Now I know this is short notice but they only had the next three days free, otherwise its booked solid for the rest of the year. Now to decide who is with who your teacher has matched you up with someone with the closest grade point average as you and is the same gender as you of course. There will be two boxes out side, one marked with my name and one marked with Mr. Menzer's, take a piece of paper out of the one with your teachers name on it on the way out. That paper will have who your tent mate will be." Mrs. Willson continued
"Ok here are the rules, one never leave your buddy alone that means if you or your buddy needs to use the restroom you have to go with. Two you are responsible for your buddy. Three no food in the tents, the campsite we are going to is not fenced off from the rest of the forest to provide a up close and personal with nature vibe. The food could attract deer, bears, some rodents, and more. Four do not go to far from camp. And five behave your self's. Ok when you leave here you get your paper from the box, find your buddy and get your things. The bus leaves at 9:07am which should give you an hour to get ready. You are dismissed." Mrs. Willson finished
Everyone piled out of the auditorium leaving Ian and his friends as the last ones to leave. As they walk out they each took a piece of paper from the box. Ian thought to him self 'Please don't be Luan with my luck things will get awkward at some point.' Ian then looked at the paper, he searched for his name and once he found it he looked next to it to find the name: Luan 'my luck indeed.' Ian thought
"Looks like we are roomies." Luan cheered
"Looks like it." Ian smiled trying to hide the hint of worry he felt
"Hey Ethan who did you get?" Asked Ian
"Lets see I got someone named Da-." Ethan said before he was interrupted
"Um excuse me are any of you Ethan Wilson?" he asked in a shy quiet tone
He was a mouse about 4,10 some might call him scrawny he wore a blue hoody and well fitting jeans.
"I am. You're my buddy?" answered Ethan with a question
"Yes" he replied frightened
"Don't worry he is a gentle giant." Ian assured
"Don't I know you from some where?" asked Ethan
"He does look fim- wait weren't you one of the witnesses that helped Virgil justify grounding Ray?" Ian quizzed
"You mean that jerk who always picks on you? Yea." Said Danny
"Thanks a lot! It was brave of you to do that, most people would not have the courage to speak out." Ian smiled
The little mouse's cheek's turned red from the praise he just received.
"We better get are stuff ready before we get left behind" Ethan suggested after checking the time on his cellphone
"Yea we have the whole trip to talk we better get ready." Ian agreed
Every one went to there rooms and got their stuff and headed to the front gate where the bus is parked. By the time they got on the bus they realized that they were a little early. So they found seats next to each other in the back of the bus and talked to pass the time.
[At the camp]
All the campers were assembling their tents, having a fun time. Once the tents were put up they all went to the dinning cabin for dinner, went on a hike and then before you knew it the first day was over and it was time for sleep. (sorry nothing interesting happened until it was dark sorry for skimming through like this)
{In the tent with Luan and Ian}
"That was some day huh?" Luan exclaimed
"It sure was," Ian agreed
"You know I could get used to this." Luan stated
"Camping?" Asked Ian
"Having a you as a roommate." Luan corrected
"W-what do you mean?" Asked Ian
"Well it gets kinda lonely when you have a dorm alone, its comforting to know a friend is there like if something's on your mind at the end of the day, you know someone will be there to listen. Plus you are not the bad kind of roommate that would borrow my stuff without asking or take my stuff in the middle of the night. And your very easy to get along with." Luan clarified
"I must say you are a pretty good roommate your self." Ian commented
{In Ethan and Danny's tent}
Ethan was drifting to sleep in his sleeping bag while Danny was trying to be quiet and carful not to wake him while he changed into his thick clothed sleepwear. He took of his pants and then his hoody to reveal a T-shirt underneath. (among other things) but when he put the hoody down the zipper tapped Ethan's leg waking him up.
When Danny noticed this he grabbed his hoody, but instead of using it to cover his groin area he covered he upper arms. Ethan found this strange so he tried to get to the bottom of what was going on.
"What's wrong with your arms?" Ethan asked
But he did not answer, so Ethan and his hot headed ways took a different approach. He yanked the hoody away from Danny's arms to discover he had scars going from his elbow to his shoulder. After seeing this Ethan thought 'Those scars look kind of like Ian's scars. Was he cut up too?'
"Dude what happened to you?" Ethan said in shock and sympathy
{Back with Ian and Luan in their tent}
Ian was shivering for the cold and Luan was asleep (at least Ian thought he was) next thing he knew Luan's arms rapped around Ian and pulled him closer. Everything was silent for a few minutes. Ian thought Luan did it in his sleep again but that was proven wrong when he heard his voice.
"Better?" Asked Luan
"W-what?" Stuttered Ian
"Are you warming up now?" Clarified Luan
"Yes thanks." Ian thanked
"Well if it worked I the dorms it should work here right?" Luan Chuckled
"Yea." Ian laughed happy he was facing the other way so he could not see him blushing
