Visions 2
After the first dream, I had a second one the night thereafter. And because it struck me odd, I wrote down that one too, in art form as good as I could.
...And amidst the desert, there was a pyramid.
It was of truly great proportions,
Nothing was I but a bit of dust in its shadow.
It was a pyramid worthy of gods.
And it was beautiful,
Each brick was made of a gem
Only the top was made of gold.
And through the gems, there shone the light of the desert sun
And it made rainbow light as if through coloured glass.
Here I stood, basking in the glory of this structure,
All thoughts blown away in the beauty of what lay before me
And only the wind stood by my side.
It was then, in my greatest moment of happiness,
That the sun suddenly darkened, and the skies went gray.
And while the sun was still visible at the horizon,
It turned into an eye.
Once more I was faced with it - This sky filling monster
The iris a terrible swirl of darkness and white,
As I gazed into it, it gazed into me,
And I awoke.
