Visions
So sometimes, I tend to dream really, really weird stuff. Which then a few times I write down.
I'm not sure /how/ strict SoFurry is with not explicitly furry art, so I'll just hope this is okay? I'll upload other, more furry related poetry too, although I have more non-furry poems/stories/texts. >3>
I've been in a dream,
In a land of floating islands.
The air was filled with dust and colour.
Fire was burning in some of the clouds.
On each of the islands there stood a structure,
No stone left untouched
And half of the buildings lay in ruins.
There were flying creatures roaming about.
Strange plants grew all around,
I myself stood on a tower in a tree
Pieces of vines stood still in the air,
Gravity seemed distorted.
The place had been warm, and I felt serene,
When suddenly a cold wind arose
I looked up above, and there was an eye filling the sky.
A single eye of such size, you could not flee its gaze,
It even looked through plants and stones
It was malicious, no doubt, and as panic gripped my soul
And the wind grew stronger and colder,
I awoke.
