Immortal Season 2 - Chapter 22 - Immortal

"Are you still holding back?" Andreas roared and blocked two powerful slash blasts from Katashi. Cutting through his chain Andreas held up his hand. "Yansei Stage 2!" He roared and the pendulum head turned and attacked its masters. All of the chains whipped around him sinking into his body. The massive pendulum became absorbed by its master. Darkness rushed from every corner of hell into its master as he took in every drop. Letting out flares of anger Katashi raised his sword to protect himself. Souls of thousands screamed around him drawn to the energy.

Suddenly lifting up behind Andreas from his shadow a great powerful beast emerged. An exact copy of his own body formed on a mammoth scale. Massive wings of smoke stretching out from it as fire poured from his snout. Andreas' horns ignited with fire as his green flames scourged down his tail. His rattle glowed as of it was lantern. The beast let out a horrific roar as its deep red eyes opened. "How...How do I beat that?" Katashi gulped. "Allow me to take control..." A voice echoed inside his head. "Who are you?" He gulped.

"I have no name, you must trust me, this is no longer duel of Watchers, it's a battle of Yoso and masters, say it!" The voice yelled. "Stage 2!" Katashi yelled out and his energy ignited out from his body. His sword lifted around him hovering just above the ground. They became to circle around him as eight other weapons appeared. Each one designed to resemble the commanders.

The white sword turning into a great powerful broad sword. Its brother turning to a completely black shield. Katashi's eyes glowed brightly as the weapons circled their master. "Let us begin!" Andreas stepped forward. Sudden the ice beneath him shattered as the beast lifted it arms. Holding out its arm the great dark storm of lust whipped from its arms. "So all the punishment of hell comes from that beast?" Katashi reached out. Grabbing onto a long trident water suddenly appeared all around him. "Indeed," Andreas smiled.

The storm surged forward full of moans and lustful growls. Lifting the trident and blast of water cut into the storm. The beast roared the storm becoming fiercer as Andreas lifted on hand. A single black point forming on his finger tip. "Yami..." He muttered and suddenly a loud sound let out. Like a pipe organ hitting every key upon its board. From his finger a blast of energy so massive it would entirely overtake a city block. Without reaction Katashi grabbed the broad sword in one hand and slashed the weapon of pure light.

Holding back the blast he pushed his way through. Andreas smiled and the beast roared again and opening its mouth spitting out all the filth and horrid stench of hell. The muck rushing toward Katashi acidic enough to destroy his skin. Switching from trident to battle ax he swung the ax slicing a open path through the filth. Jumping up to avoid Andreas followed firing blast after blast from his finger tips. The beast behind him whipping out spell after spell. The molten gold of greed, the darkness of fraud, even the enormous flames of heresy. Katashi had a weapon to counter every attack.

Switching effortlessly he cut through attacks repeatedly. Andreas began to grow angry knowing he had to push Katashi to his limit. He had to know how much he needed to put onto him in order to kill him. In case he turned out like Jonathan. "I've never had to use a full one hundred percent of my power, only when sparing with Ligeron...but for the chosen I shall make an acceptation," Andreas landed back on the ground tiring of the chase. The beast on his back let out a roar and suddenly like a pillar of blackness his energy burst into the sky. The clouds over hell swirled around the spire of pure unrefined energy.

Andreas smiled as darkness warped around him. The beast sunk into the ground beneath him and around them formed a great black hall. Built like a cathedral the large stain glass windows glowed in the darkness. "Eternal Damnation," He smiled and the darkness formed a large pipe organ behind him. Holding out his arm the keys pressed down and smoke bellowed from the tubes. Hissing the smoke began to take the shape of thousands of dead and decaying solders. All the greatest warriors from across time rising to serve the master of hell. "Raise my minions, give me your strength!" he ordered and they wisped around him arm. The smoke wrapping into a ball in his palm.

Katashi reached out grabbing the white broad sword and breathed out softly. "Andreas, Master of Hell I will defeat you!" He roared and ran forward. The black smoke in his palm condensed down to a single glowing spec. Katashi pushed off the ground to perform a diving stab to increase the power behind his attack. "This will kill you yet you still fight..." Andreas thought to himself. Time seemed to stop as both figures locked onto each other.

"Clever boy..." He smiled and opened his palm letting out a blast of pure darkness so wide and strong it stretched far out into space. Even the people of halo could see the great pillar rising from the dark clouds. "Andreas!" Ligeron yelled out to the pillar. An attack of the magnitude would destroy anything put in front of it. Salamander touched his shoulder and Ligeron put his face into his hands. But then he looked up as if he sensed some small glimmer of hope.

Katashi gasped looking up as his stage two faded. The blast had missed him completely. His long normal sword pierced through Andreas' chest. "Very good boy...very good," He smiled. Andreas fell back off of the sword landing on the ground. Blood pooled around his chest as he lay. Katashi let out sigh and fell to his side suddenly collapsing. "Well now that was some fight," Terra clapped walking up to the two. "Commander its not safe!" Ishi yelled at him from behind a rock.

"Oh hush, these two are out, I think Andreas was actually happy for the first time in a long time," He smiled down at his brother. The others came up behind the commander. "What happened?" Maia asked rushing to Katashi's side. "He won, don't worry he's just exhausted." Terra smiled at her. "He...won," She looked at him and smiled. "What about him," Sayomi weakly looked up from Kanta's shoulder. "He's fine as well, may take him a day or two to heal from the hole though," He assured him.

Suddenly the sky glowed brightly with white light. "As master of heaven I Absolve these souls and release them from hell," Ligeron's voice echoed. The ground beneath them lighted up brightly shinning with pure white light. The entire group flashed back to the Halo docks where they had left. Luna and Yuki stood waiting with the large groups of Healers behind them. Rushing forward they helped Maia onto a table ad began healing her wounds. Yoko returned Cerce to his laboratory so he could begin healing his master. Yuki took Sora and Sayomi personally and helped in their healing.

Luna stepped up to the passed out Commander and Katashi. Looking at them she smiled warmly and looked up at Ligeron. He stood on the steps with a worried look on his face. Covering his mouth he coughed out a small bit of blood. He sighed with relief as everyone injured was taken to the hospital. It took a few days but Katashi awoke from his deep slumber. Staring at the ceiling he looked at his hands making sure he still had them. Lifting up slowly he looked over his body seeing everything was still in its right place. Staring at the white walls of the hospital room he looked down at his nude form.

"Where...who did I?" He looked around and noticed the brown haired girl. "Good to see your up," Yuki smiled. "Oh um...How did I get back here?" He asked and Ligeron stepped forward. "I absolved you from hell, I brought you back here," Ligeron sat at his side. "So did I pass?" He asked. "Indeed you did, you exceeded my mates expectation," He put his hand on his shoulder. "Oh...what happened?" Katashi rubbed his head.

"Well, My mate knew you were going to give everything you could to win, so he made his attack miss and let you strike him, he must show great respect towards you in order to do that," He patted his back. "What about everyone else?" He looked at the Commander. "They're all fine, and you kiddo, you will be put heading home," He put his claw against Katashi's forehead. With a blinding flash of light Katashi awoke on a bus headed towards home. Maia fast asleep against his side. Katashi flexed and stretched readjusting to his normal body.

"You ok?" Katashi looked up at Sayomi who stared back at him. Sayomi smiled from the front seat. "Yeah I'm great I think," He sighed and Sora looked at him from the next seat. "You've been granted a pardon from Halo as well as this," Sora smiled and handed him a black stop watch. "That's the sign of a member of Sector 2, it will allow you to open the portal to Halo whenever you want," Sayomi smiled. "You're an official watcher now," Sora crossed his arms. With a smile Katashi looked at his friend and the device.
