#5 of Evens and Dante's Adventure in Unova
I don't own Pokémon in any way shape or form, excluding purchase of the video games. Sorry this chapter took so long college is unforgiving to procrastinators.
With Friends Like These
Evens was walking on the path to Nacrene Town when Zorua nudged his face, "you know we are being followed right?" without looking back Evens rubbed Zorua's head, "he saw the gym match, think you have enough strength to put up a simple illusion?" giggling Zorua's eyes glowed, "what kind do you want?" "Just make it of us walking down this path still." Frowning slightly Zorua nodded, "not much of an illusion but ok." After five steps Zorua nods stating that she had enough to work with. Evens hid in the bushes by the road and waited for the stalker to get past him before he jumped him. A few minutes pass and Evens didn't see who was following him until Zorua yelped and jumped off his shoulder. Whoever was following him was leaning against the tree behind him, "the illusion of yours would have worked if she wasn't with me." The guy placed his hand on a Gothorita; she smiled brightly holding onto his fingers. Zorua placed herself in front of Evens growling with her fur raised along her spine. The guy held up his hands in a defensive position (just look up the meme, we got a badass over here but without the face and you got his stance) "relax I didn't come here to fight." Gothorita stood in front of her trainer staring down Zorua, "Gothorita calm down remember we didn't come to fight we just wanted to talk to them."
Sitting down on a fallen tree Evens holds Zorua in his arms so she doesn't try to leap at Gothorita. "My name is Dante, you've meet Gothorita, here's Galvantula, and Sawsbuck." Dante holds out two Pokéballs, both Pokémon appear from each ball stretching, "man traveling in that ball for long periods of time really takes its toll on the body." Both Pokémon stretch and take their places behind their trainer. Oshawott and Golett sit beside Evens, "so why were you following me?"
"I followed you because we are from the same place." Evens was a little confused at Dante's statement, "what do you mean same place?" "I mean that the both of us are from earth not native to this planet." "And how do you know I'm from whatever planet you just said?" "Because you can talk to Pokémon, I heard you talking to Zorua when you tried to put that illusion up." "And how did you hear me?" "Gothorita read Zorua's mind and heard you talking to her." "Besides you have yet to call me crazy and laugh away."
Evens looks down at Zorua, "what do you think?" "I don't know if we can trust him just yet." Dante sitting patiently across from them chimes in one little detail, "I know Ramon and where he is heading." The conversation between Evens and Zorua doesn't stop or change until Dante adds one more thing, "he's traveling with a Zoroark, a Bisharp, and a Gigalith." When Dante mentioned Zoroark, Zorua froze mid word and slowly turned her head to Dante, "what did you," "the Zoroark was not in the best shape when I last saw her he had probably raped her the night before and tried to make her have a gym battle, but the gym leader saw that condition that she was in and refused to battle saying that if he wanted a battle he had better rest up his team first, after the gym leader left he took the Zoroark in to the nearby woods and beat her till she went unconscious." As Dante described the way Ramon treated his Pokémon Evens clenched his fists so tight that his palms started to bleed from the cuts his nails were digging. Dante saw this and left out the part where Ramon dumped a bucket of water on Zoroark to wake her up only to viciously rape her again. Evens slowly wiped his hand on his jeans to clean the blood from his palms, "and how do you know Ramon?" Dante sighs, "Him and I grew up on the same block in Boston so I have an idea of what he is like." Dante took off the coat he had on while standing up. Dante was an African standing at 6 foot 6, he was built like a running back (sorry I am use this comparison to state that he has muscle but is not completely ripped). He had short brown hair, and hazel green eyes. Dante had on a pair of basketball shorts that were black with white strips down the side, running shoes, and a dark green t-shirt.
When Dante got comfortable, Gothorita sat down in his lap, "so where are you from?" Evens still holding Zorua replied, "I used to live in Indiana with my grandmother." "Used to?" "Well I can't very well get back can I?" Dante chuckles, "yeah you're right about that." Golett tugs on Evens shirt, "Master it is getting dark now, we should set up camp here."
With camp set up the two unlikely companions share dinner and some old stories from back home. The two call it a night and enter their tents. About two hours after everyone was supposed to sleep Zorua had to pee and exited the tent. After finishing she heard strange slurping noises coming from Dante's tent. She moved closer, seeing that the tent was not completely closed she peeked inside. What she saw was Gothorita kneeling in between Dante's thighs bobbing her head. She thought, "What is she doing and why is she making that noise?" heading back to even's tent she curled up underneath his arm and slept wondering what Gothorita was doing with her master.
In the morning Zorua woke up before Evens sitting almost impatiently on his chest. When he felt the extra weight he opened his eyes to see Zorua about to slap him, "can I ask what do you think your about to do with that paw?" Zorua hopped off his chest, "I having something to talk to you about privately," "ok you have my attention, what's going on?" "Last night when I went to the bathroom I heard noises coming from the other trainer's tent, when I peeked inside I saw Gothorita in between his legs making weird noises." Sighing Evens petted her head, "let's just say that they were doing something that adult's occasionally do at night." "So they were mating?" "No well yes, what they did leads up to mating but I don't think it went further than what you saw." Nodding her head Zorua and Evens exit the tent to greet Dante and his Pokémon.
Back on the road Dante comes up with an idea, "what if I travel with you?" Evens a little taken back by Dante's sudden question replies, "What like in Pokémon where ash travels around with brock or whoever else it is?" chuckling Dante laughs back, "yeah just like that except I'm not a gym leader who never gets laid and your clearly not an annoying little 10 year old who refuses to grow up." Both of them laugh and Evens replies, "sure why not I could use the company and in case anything happens we can back each other up." "Yup that's exactly what I was thinking." The two shake hands and head toward Nacrene Town.
"If I remember right the only thing in this town is the museum that doubles as a gym." Evens holding the digital map nods, "yup, but it seems like the town is preparing for some kind of party." The entire town was alive with people constantly moving placing streamers and balloons. In front of the museum is a large moving truck with several workers unloading many crates and putting them inside the building. They saw a man directing the workers on where to put the crates. As they get closer the man notices them, "if you are here for a gym battle I am going to have to apologize, we are in the middle of a very important move and cannot have any one participate in any battles for the moment, but please be patient as we are trying are best to have the gym opened as soon as possible."
There is a field near by that has many trainers battling and relaxing. A few even challenged Dante to a battle. Evens was watching the battles from the bench he was lounging on, this was interrupted as Zorua hopped up and down in his lap, "there she is!" looking to where Zorua was looking he saw a Zoroark kneeling next to a trainer, "how do you now it's her?" Zorua almost pawed Evens in the face, "I think I would know the scent of my own mother." Evens called out to Dante and when Dante look at Evens he pointed toward the Zoroark and trainer, Dante nodded giving Evens all the confirmation he needed. The two trainers made their way to the trainer thought to be Ramon.
With his head leaned back the trainer sitting down greets Evens and Dante as they approach him. "If you are looking for a battle you are going to have to wait, Zoroark here has not finish with her training." Zorua jumps in front of Evens "GIVE MY MOM BACK NOW!" the trainer chuckles, "my, my your Pokémon seems to have forgotten her manners." Dante steps forward, "that's enough Ramon, you've taken this too far, give up now and I promise not to completely break your neck." Ramon bursts into a fit of laughter leaning up to see who threatened him, "ha ha were this Boston I might comply with your request, but we're a long ways from the block so you have no power over me." Gigalith and Bisharp step around from behind Ramon, "besides I found so very interesting people whom I can relate to." A few of the other trainers in the park see the spectacle and decide not to approach. Zoroark still kneeling has a blank look in her eyes, almost soulless.
There is silence as no one makes a move until Zoroark starts beeping, "oh good it seems the reprograming is complete." Evens sees the bead at the end of Zoroark's hair faintly flashing, thinking to himself, 'he was stalling for time while that bead did something to Zoroark.' Zoroark slowly stands, "what is your command master," her voice is monotone, eyes blank, and her stance is completely slumped forward. Still sitting on the bench Ramon looks in to the sky thoughtfully, "I wish to end this quickly; I have grown board of the scenery." Zoroark nods, "yes master." She starts swaying like a cobra does when entertaining a snake charmer. With every sway her movements slow to an unreal speed, a faint after image can be seen at the end of each movement. Evens is completely entrance by her movements, it's not until Golett pushes him that's he snaps out of it fast enough to see Zoroark using shadow claw on Golett. Golett is sent flying; Dante orders Gothorita to use psybeam but is hit before she can charge the attack. Zorua crying screams out, "stop mom please, you have to snap out of it!" Zoroark slowly turns her head toward Zorua. Zoroark moves with almost infeasible speed, shadow claw ready toward Zorua. Evens steps in front of Zorua, Zoroark is in his face in seconds with shadow claw mere inches from his face. A blinding bright light obscures Evens vision.
I apologize for the long wait on this chapter. I had to write two other stories for school and could not give this series the attention that I wanted to give it. But that is no longer an issue, the class is over and I have enough free time to continue this series. Also if anyone can tell me how I can link stories together so people know which is the first story that would be helpful.
