The gray spotted hyena took a seat at one of the corner booths. Before he even scooted the chair back closer to the table another body joined him. His amber eyes looked up to see the large equidae that sat down across from him. The zebra wasn't looking at him. Instead finding one of the pictures on the wall far more fascinating as if he had come over here to look at that rather than join the hyena.

"Sorry." Isaac spoke softly. Calm and collected. Back to his old original self again. "I've been kind of stupid...these past couple of days. I'm not sure what got into me really. What you saw the other day was just me on one of my worst days. Heh," he forced a smile as he recalled it. Closing his eyes and shaking his head. "I bottomed for someone. That should tell you in itself how messed up things were going for me."

Ralph looked at him blankly not even seeming to have heard him. Isaac waited but as the zebra didn't say anything he went on. "I've just been really stressed out with classes. I think I'm failing one of them and struggling with the other two. Let alone working part time and all. It was just a lot and then the whole fiasco with Colin and all just left me in a dark place. And that's where you came in after getting pretty damn wasted, heh." Again he forced a laugh trying to keep it easy and light between them.

The zebra looked at him. Really looked at him before sagging his shoulders and probing himself on the table. "I know what you mean. I actually ended up buying flowers and chocolates. For what? Some one night stand?" His words held a venomious tone to them but Isaac had a feeling he was more talking to himself at the end. "I haven't gone out with anyone in quite some time. I've been busy working here at night and school all day. I don't got some fancy grant or rich parents. I got to pay for everything myself. And I just hoped on the first guy that came along. And for that in itself I'm sorry about that."

He shifted his weight scooting up to the table before kicking back, resting a leg on the table. Isaac rested back a bit with a bit of a smug grin clearly seeing the outline of the zebra's package in his tight jeans. "I haven't had a guy in the past couple of...months. So I kind of was at fault too. With this whole thing." Ralph broke into a smile. "Then again I still got laid so why the hell am I complaining?"

Isaac snickered resting against the table. "i know what you mean. Then again I wasn't exactly expecting it the way it was. Heh, being a bottom sucks. And not in the good way."

"You were so good at it, though." Ralph stretched with a loud yawn. The muscles under the tight shirt he wore didn't do him justice as the fabric protested at the movements. "You took the lead the whole time even while I was on you," he chuckled a bit. "I maybe versitile but I wasn't expecting you to take the lead - in that way." Isaac shook his head laying his paws on the table. "What do you mean I took the bottom willingly? I figured we just kind of rolled around and you slipped in first." The comment got a smile from the zebra.

"That's not exactly how I remember it. But that would've been interesting too. If you had asked I would've bottomed...possible," Ralph mumbled the last part looking away. Under that white fur there was the faint signs of a blush.

The hyena whined resting his chin on the table and looking up at him. "I don't know what happening to me these days. I'm whiney and needy...and...submissive," wincing as the word came out, rolling out of his muzzle on that red carpet of a tongue.

"Is that such a bad thing. I mean you seem to enjoy it." Ralph offered with a shrug.

"My dad would kill me if he could see me now." The hyena closed his eyes grumbling. "Be a man. Men don't bottom for some steer he picked up at prom." Isaac quoted remember one of his father who caught him with a saddle on with a large bull ontop of him.

"So you just let us hoof guys top you, huh?" Ralph grinned wiggling his toes his leg still propped up on the table. His large tail swayed behind him clearly enjoying himself.

It was nice to see him in such good spirits. Not fawning over him like a love sick fool, Isaac was one to talk though. His recent track record hadn't been any better. The thought alone made his ears droop back as he grumble a bit with closed eyes. A paw ruffled up his hair.

"You'll be fine." Ralph said moving his leg off the table. Though he didn't seem to mind having that the hyena's snout was only a few inches from his crotch. "So how are you and Colin doing?" His voice was light, friendly but it was obvious to even himself he was fishing.

"It goes." The hyena mumbled not even really seeming to have heard him. "We got some things to work out for sure. But it's nice to be with a guy like that."

The zebra ruffled his hair again. "And what kind of 'guy' would that be?"

Isaac stopped with the words on his lips. He was about to say a lion. Before catching himself. Why was it that he was interesting in the fact of what he was rather than whom. The thought of being with a lion excited him. An attractive dominant male made him giddy and that only seemed to make him more gloomy. One can't help who they were attracted too. So why did it have to be with such a dominant guy like that. Yet as his eyes opened up and he looked into that face staring down at him, the striped mug with a soft smile. He couldn't help but feel the same attration as he had for Colin.

Ralph was a nice guy. They had bumped into each other a few times and had a few friendly chats while he served them. A wink here a brush of a paw there. But it had never led to anything and Isaac had figured he was just being friendly to get more tips. And what a tip he got out of it.

A paw brushed his chin lifting his chin a bit making Isaac flush. He pulled back, sitting up a bit more and waved it off. It wasn't everyday a guy could ruffle his fur like this. "You going to be ok, hun? Seem rather blue."

"Oh ha, funny. Haven't heard that before." Isaac stuck his tongue out. The hyena's fur was a light gray with flecks of blue all throughout it. Giving it a blue tint in the right light. "I'm fine. Just a bit shacken up with this ground breaking news."

"And what news, pray tell, is that?" Ralph inquired leaning on his elbow again and look at him a bit amused again. The hyena's ears twitch and he pulled back subconsciously bringing a paw up to scratch the side of it. The slight gesture, Ralph had to admit, was cute.

"I'm a bottom." He whimpered his bottom lip quivering.

"Oh that's not so bad. I was a bottom once." Ralph waved it off, though he scooted closer. Nudging a paw against his leg a bit playfully. "I'm a top now though. Well kind of vers but-," he mumbled a bit unsure why he was trying to explain it to him. Fumbling with his words he went on wanting nothing more than to just put a foot in his mouth to shut himself up. "Like when we did it. Not to say you knew back then. Or that I made you a bottom. But you did find out you were with me. So it's like...I'm not sure where I'm going with this."

Isaac smirked. "Yeah, yeah. I get it. Your not going to let me live that one down." He rolled his eyes but couldn't help but smile.

"Not any time soon." Ralph agreed nodding a bit with his smirk. "Just my own little form of payback."

"The fact I walked with a limp for the rest of the day wasn't enough, huh?" Isaac stuck his tongue out glad to see they could talk so lightly about it again. He was truly glad that the zebra didn't hold any animosity for him. He'd hate to not be able to come here again and having him as a friend was turning out to be better than he had thought.

Ralph bent forward a bit, placing a paw ontop of his. The hyena didn't seem to notice as a leg bumped against his. Rubbing up and down against it as they continued to talk. That loud giggiling laugh of his could be heard as Ralph went on about. To see the hyena light up again, smiling from ear to ear as they joked and laughed was nice. It had been such a long time since he went out with anyone but his close nit group of friends. And he had a feeling the hyena felt the same way.

To get out not having to worry about classes or work. To just kick back with a good friend and chat the night away. The look on his face was enough to make him have that warm tingling feeling inside as he began to truly enjoy himself. Laughing as the hyena recalled another anecdote about his father and the strick rules he tried to place on him. Where he caught him wearing his mothers high heels as a child or that he got his nails done during middle school.

"And the look on his," Isaac shook his head with a laugh. "Priceless."

"Haha, yeah. I could imagine. My parents weren't thrilled with it either. At least I'm a top." Ralph teased getting that face again from the hyena as he pulled back a bit looking off with a bowed muzzle. Such a submissive look it made his toes curl. "So. How are you and that lion going? I mean he's not here now."

Isaac missed the undertone that would have slapped anyone else in the face with the bluntness of it, where as the hyena just looked at him with that silly grin innocent and naive. "It goes," he said again fiddling his thumbs and looking down at the table. "He's a great guy. It's just things are a bit...well he's strong willed and like things done his way and stuff."

"It's been only a few days." Ralph stated bluntly. Picking at the wound that was already there. "Think of how things will be in a couple of weeks then? Months. I mean do you see this guy being someone you want to stay with?"

"It's not like he's a bad guy. He's really sweet. It's just - he's a lion." Isaac tried to defend his boyfriend. "It's just in his nature to be lack that. It's not like I'm not flexible or anything. I mean that's one of the qualities I like about him. But after a long day of work before classes I would like to be able to settle down and take it easy. Is that too much to ask?"

"Well," Ralph put his paws together looking at him. "I don't know about how things are with Colin but with me, with my guy. I'd be more than happy to give him a nice long paw rub. Let him laze out on the coach and rub his back. Make dinner and just cuddle up watching a movie the rest of the night. But that's just me."

"Yeah," Isaac mumbled staring off a bit. "That would be nice. But Colin always wants to go out and do something with his friends or see a restaurant. I haven't seen my roommate since we've been together. Not like he's keeping me from him, mind you. It just...we've been busy, and I'm lazy. I want to laze about sometimes. Naked on the coach with a tub of fried chicken! So sue me," he joked with a barkingly laugh.

Ralph grinned at the comment. "I'm not really big on the whole chicken thing. But I still am a meet lover." He stuck his tongue out making the hyena grin.

"True a nice warm muzzle in ones groin while eating fried chicken is the best." He joked not feeling the tension from the zebra as his paw bumped against his playfully. "Colin's not really into giving bj's though. And I happen to love sixty-nine!" He said proudly. "I want to bury my muzzle in a groin and have the same done for me and hell if i want I'll sleep like that!"

Ralph was taken aback by the comment, blushing under his white fure and unable to meet the hyena's eyes. Again Isaac was just talking with him as if he were just another friend. Not as if there were still some lingering feelings for the equidae. "Don't get me started on sixty-nine." Ralph joked holding back the disgust in his voice. He wasn't really one for giving another guy a blow either. "It's my favorite past time."

"I know right?" Isaac smiled. "I got a few kinks sure. I'm still a man after all."

"Oh? Do tell." The zebra pressed leaning over the table a bit. "Well-," Isaac began but the buzzing in his pocket drew his attention. Pulling out his phone he flipped it over. "Sheet. Jack needs a lift. That dog needs to get his bearings. Or get a car already." Isaac cursed again rubbing his head. "I left my car at the apartment and I've had a few drinks."

"I'll give you a lift." A deep growl said from behind. The subtle grace of the cat caught both of them off guard. Maybe it wasn't the best idea to tell Colin where he would be that night. "I came by to give you some left overs," the cat said putting the doggy bag on the table. Glaring at the zebra the whole time.

"Colin. You've met Ralph." Isaac offered about to get up. Instead Colin took a seat at the table, pulling up a chair from the table next to theirs without even bothering to ask those at it if it was ok. Turning it around so the back was facing the table he took a seat.

"We're acquainted." Ralph grumbling look at the cat. The two hadn't taken their eyes off each other.

"Hun," Colin spoke softly turning to face the hyena. "I thought you said you coming to see a few friends. You mentioned introducing me to them this weekened and thought I'd surprise you. I hope that I'm not being pushy," his ears lowered as a soft purr escaped his chest. Before turning towards the zebra disgruntled with a growl.

"I did. Was. And it's fine. I would've said something if it wasn't." Isaac laid a paw on the cat's. "Ralph is a friend. He helped me get over you - before we got together I mean." He chuckled uneasily at the tension pouring off of the too. Ralph had stood up a bit more in his chair shoulders back. "We were just getting a few drinks, tieing up some loose ends. He's my friend. Please Colin."

"No, it's fine. If you say so." The lion spoke heavily before turning to face him. "I'm not going to have you stop seeing your friend. We've been over it. I don't feel comfortable with you guys hanging out but I'm not going to stop you or anything, silly." His words were soft and he plae his other paw on the hyena's looking at him with those golden spheres. All too aware of the zebra watching.

Reaching over he caressed his cheek with his paw before leaning over and giving him a large kiss. It was a simple peck for Isaac before Colin turned it into a tongue war before Colin won slipped his scratchy tongue into his muzzle and giving him a long slurping kiss. Ralph tightened his fist unable to look away.

"Go ahead and use my card to pay for you and your friend," he looked over at the zebra with a smug grin. "Drinks. Then I'll take you to pick up your roommate. We'll swing by and drop him off before heading back to my place. I rented 21 jump street, bought some pizza and a tub of icecream. I can't eat it by myself." He cooed giving him another soft kiss his eyes lingering on the zebra watching them.

Isaac got up waved goodbye to Ralph, "We'll do this again sometime." And the zebra nodded once as he headed over to the center counter to pay.

"Look," Colin put both paws on the table scooting back a bit. "He's mine. It's clear who he wants. So back the fuck off." His voice was low and he kept it flat and even. "I don't give a shit if he comes here and hangs out but look at you. Trying to win him over when he already has someone?" Colin got up slowly. "That's sad. And pathetic. Grow up."

Ralph kept his muzzle shut unable to trust himself if he dared to open it. The words coming to mind wasn't as pleasant as the ones the lion's spoke. "And when I'm topping him," he leaned a bit closer his muzzle only a few inches away from the zebra's. Baring his teeth, "he calls my name. Not yours."

And with that he pulled back in time for the hyena to join them. Wrapping an arm around Isaac, Colin nuzzled against his head. Licking his cheek. "Ready hun,"

"I'll talk to you later Ralph. It was fun, we'll do it again sometime!" Isaac stopped as Colin began to lead him away. Looking over his shoulder, "We're having a Summer Time New Year's party this weekened. You should come! I'm sure Jack would love to meet you. If you know what I mean," he smiled innocently. Meaning what he said. Innocent, naive and as the lion led him away submissive.

"Lucky bastard," Ralph grumbled. Even if he didn't want Isaac for himself. He rather see him with anyone else than that prick. He'd talk to this roommate of his about it. See if they couldn't work something out...
