Ok so it started like this. I generated a new world to test out some features of the 1.9 pre release 2 and I play normally for a few hours and then I saw that there was new discs added and I thought oh one of them is broken let's play that one. Soon after playing it an endermen appeared right next to my house (they appear much less often in 1.9 pre 2 from what I've read compared to 1.8. I tried to kill the endermen to test out its new fighting style (since notch tweaked it) and to get an ender pearl (to try the teleport thing) as I try and fight it keeps rapidly warping around me avoiding my sword and arrows. Might I mention it didn't even try to attack me. And then it started warping away in one direction through a desert biome.
I was like "Get back here dammnit! :I" so I followed it. For a good 10 mins I was following it through this desert seeing no mob except the endermen constantly warping away from me. At this point I had a thought cross my mind. "Is this thing leading me some were?!?" I quickly dismissed that silly notion and continued to follow it. 3 mins later the endermen and I come across an ENORMUS hole in the ground. Conveniently the endermen warps into the hole. At this point as it's leading me through the cave I was legitly starting to worry a bit.
And then we made it to the destination. The endermen stopped warping at a dead end in an almost perfect sphere of a room except that it had a leveled floor that was able to easily e walked on. The endermen stopped in this room, looked at me jaw a gape warped away. (I should probably mention that this room was near bed rock and that when it did its final warp I checked around behind me to see if it was there. there was also no way out of the dead end room either.) I thought to myself "wow that was a HUGE waste of time... -_-" as I was about to leave I noticed something in the dead end room.
3 rows of cobble one block apart each and 2 blocks in length vertically lying in the floor. And at the cobble blocks farthest away from me was one stone block before it in each row. It looked like player sized graves... I then shut down my comp due to me needing to run some errands. and btw this was sp. O.O did notch make changes to endermen we don't know about?!?!?!?!?
