I going to warn you right off, this is NOT your average yiff story. :)

Meet Malla and her husband on their wedding night. She's a little nervous about what is about to transpire, but who can blame her? Let's say she's educated, but inexperienced. If you want to know more you'll just have to read on...

Enjoy!

Malla stood inside the tent and shuddered. It was more than warm enough outside as it always was, but she felt cold and empty inside. She brushed a tear from her eye and got about the task of disrobing. There wasn't much to take off despite the fact that she was in her wedding finest, so she simply swallowed her fear, reached behind her back, and untied the simple leather string that held her top on.

The knot unraveled quickly as it was meant to, and she looked at her top in her paw. Their wasn't much to it in all, and in reality it didn't need to be; there wasn't much for it to cover in the first place. Malla folded it carefully and placed it in the corner of the tent and sighed when she noticed her hands were shaking.

She didn't know why she was so nervous. The pack mothers had told her in great detail what was to happen. Her match would come into the tent and he would enter her sex with his. When he was close to finishing, part of his sex would thicken and he would push it inside of her. Then his seed would fill her and the marriage would be consummated. It was simple, really. All she had to do was be there, but the pack mothers told her that it would be quicker if she made certain noises, and clawed at his back to encourage him to give her his seed. They even warned her that when he thickened it might be painful, and that she should refrain from crying. 'It will get easier,' they told her, after he had taken her a few more times. They even told her she would learn to enjoy and even look forward to it in time, but Malla didn't think so. In fact, she only wanted this whole experience to be over with so that the packs could end their stupid rivalry.

Malla clenched her hands to steady them and quickly untied the bow that held her loin cloth in place. She carefully folded it and placed it next to her top, then stood and turned around. The simple tent had no candles or lanterns in it. In the dim light she could make out the bedding: lavish pillows and sheets laid atop the sand in a simple ceremonial bed. She knew she should be grateful. She had been matched with the rival pack's best warrior and their marriage was ending years of bickering and strife. Both packs had combined their wealth, and they were to have the first tent and bedding woven from real cotton. The whole island had come together to weave the tent and cloth that would lie beneath their consummation, but she still felt hollow inside.

She walked over and stepped on the fancy cloth. She remembered how the oldest pack mother had spent months spinning the threads and how expertly her gaunt fingers had placed each one in the loom. Malla sat down, remembering the smile on the old mother's face as she spoke of the happiness that the cloth would bring, and tried to will some of that joy into her heart.

Malla grabbed her tail for a moment and brushed it out with her fingers, fidgeting like she had always done when faced with tasks she wasn't sure about. When she realized what she was doing she hung her head, thankful that no one had seen her, and lay down on the comfortable pillows. She tried to remember if she should lie with her legs parted or not and she almost snorted a nervous laugh at the thought. The pack mothers had certainly told her many things, but either she had forgotten that part or they neglected to tell her about it.

Malla looked up at the tent flap and was still considering how she should position herself when it began to rustle. 'This is it,' she thought, and took a deep breath as the flap parted and her husband stepped in.

All in all, Malla thought he was a handsome wolf. He was tall and well built like a warrior should be, but his fur was different than most. Rather than the usual off white with gray patches like hers, his was pure white like the sand in the bathing cove. He didn't have the mask like most of their people, and it gave his face a almost plain look. As he stood there in the dim light she could barely make out his pale eyes.

Malla had only really seen him a few times before. It wasn't proper for a match between packs to socialize. The first time she had seen him was when it was announced by the Alphas that they were to be wed. The pack mothers had told her he was a fine warrior. Some of them even hinted that they wished they were in her place.

Of course she had been present when he climbed the ceremonial tree and plucked the orchid from it's highest branches. Malla had been impressed at that. She had witnessed others climb the tree when she was a little girl, and she couldn't remember anyone making the dangerous assent so quickly or with such grace. He hadn't taken an orchid from the lower branches either, choosing instead to climb into the very canopy before retrieving the rare flower. It had been her engagement gift.

She was present when he had shown his prowess as a warrior as well. It was custom for a male to battle other members of his pack to prove he was a worthy husband. It had been an elaborate presentation, but Malla knew it was all for show. No one warrior could defeat ten other strong men.

And then of course there was the wedding itself. A fancy thing, with all the members of both packs attending. It had been held earlier that day on the beach. There were no words to the ceremony. The two had simply walked up to each other and as a helper poured some tea from a pot, they bowed to each other, then drank from the single glass. They bowed again and had a cord draped over their hands as they touched each other for the very first time. And now he stood before her in the small tent about to touch her in the most intimate spot, also for the first time.

He stood there, still for a moment, perhaps to let his eyes adjust to the dark, and then untied the knot that held his loin cloth in place and let it fall to the sand below.

Malla could see he was erect; his manhood stood before him tall and proud glistening in the dim light. She parted her legs a bit, unsure of what exactly to do. The old mothers had told her he would make the first move, so she simply waited and watched as he stood before her before kneeling down on edge of the bedding.

Malla's husband sat there a moment, then descended like an animal onto his hands and knees. He crawled forward toward her slowly, and as his muzzle approached her lower legs she involuntary closed her eyes.

Over and over in her mind she remembered how the pack mothers had told her to react, and she withdrew her arms from her small breasts and placed them awkwardly at her sides. Malla felt his hot breath pause momentary over her sex and she forced her legs to part further as she had been told she should.

His slow, steady breathing continued up her body until she could feel him hovering over her. She waited, barely daring to breathe, and when he didn't react she reached out her arms and wrapped them around his back.

Malla could feel the strong muscles in his back work as he held himself up and reached down. She held her breath as he positioned himself and jumped the tiniest amount when she felt his sex touch hers.

His manhood was much warmer than she had imagined it would be, almost painfully hot, and when he brought his hand up to steady himself she felt her slender lips part with it's strength. His sex was much larger than she had envisioned, and she clamped her eyes tight waiting for the moment when he would enter her.

Instead he only hovered there for a moment, his steady breath washing over her cheek before he lowered himself on top of her, somehow keeping his sex positioned right at her entrance.

She remembered how the pack mothers had told her that some men liked to take their brides suddenly and she clenched her jaw tight, bracing herself for what surely would be the painful thrust as he mounted her, but instead he only lowered himself, letting his sex slide along her.

At first Malla was confused; then she gasped thinking he intended to take her the other way, but when her eyes flew open she found a strong but gentle finger on her lips. By the time she saw his soft grey eyes, his sex had already slid past her womanhood and slipped between her buttocks.

He sat there, looking down at her with the softest of smiles, his finger pressed against her lips for the longest of times. Malla's mind raced, trying to comprehend what he was doing and she searched his eyes for an answer. All she received was that faintest of smiles, until he lowed his head and kissed her gently on the cheek.

How long they lay there Malla did not know. In time his sex grew soft and retreated into it's furry sheath. She made several attempts to ask him what was wrong, but each time he brought his finger to her lips and shook his head, all the while displaying that strange enigmatic smile.

Eventually he rose, tied his loin cloth back on, and retrieved Malla's clothing as well. He helped her dress with out saying a word. When they were presentable, he took her hand and guided her towards the tent flap. Before he parted it, he looked into her eyes and spoke to her for the first time.

"Not if the last wave crests, the last day dawns, or my last breath is gone. Never," he said in a deep whisper, "before my lady is ready."

With those words, Malla and Kalnu parted the tent flap as husband and wife.
