"Are you sure, Damien?"

I narrowed my eyes, tightening my hold on the staff. "I'm sure."

"It's three against one. And you used to be a scientist."

I shook my head, focusing my mind. It was time to forget the old Damien. I'm the new Damien. "I have never been more sure."

Simon shrugged, and motioned up to Veronica. The lights all circled around, before focusing in on our area. I looked over to my opponents.

It was Simon, a crocodile, and a bull. Against a wolf with a staff.

Simon snapped his fingers, and a siren went off.

Suddenly, the bull charge forwards. I crouched down, and ran towards him. His eyes narrowed, and he threw his fist. I spun around it, and dealt a sickening crack to his temple. My staff quickly flew down, and took him off his feet.

I dodged a punch from the crocodile, forgetting about the bull. I grabbed his fist, and yanked it down sharply, feeling him flip onto the floor. I slammed the staff between his eyes, and jumped over him.

My staff immediately slammed into the recovering bull's side. He cringed, so I took the opportunity. I stuck the staff between his legs, and yanked them apart. He plummeted, and felt my staff sharply fly into his crotch. I yanked it back, and then, holding the staff like a bat, slammed him straight over.

"Hey, puppy! Over here." I chuckled, slowly turning around. Simon was walking up with the crocodile right beside him. My ears perked, as the bull got to his feet. "You're doing pretty good, puppy President. But how about a triple team?"

A smile graced my lips, and with a flourish of my staff, they had my answer.

*Do you ever have a moment, where you have no idea what you're doing? Where you're unsure of what is real, or what isn't?*

I jabbed Simon in the throat, smacked the crocodile across the face, and knocked the bull off his feet with a swipe. Then, I did a backflip, and landed with my knees around Simon's head. I fell back, and slammed him to the ground.

I jumped up, placing the staff in my mouth. I leaped forwards, curling into a ball, and cannonballing into the croc's chest. As I bounced off of him, uncurling, I noticed the bull running up. I landed, and extended the staff. He ran around it, falling in my trap. I slammed my wrist into his ankle, throwing him off balance. As he fell, I spun, and kicked him across the room.

*Do you feel like sometimes who you are isn't enough to do what you really need to do? So, you have to change yourself? For the better?*

I gave an uppercut to Simon's jaw, and then slammed it across his cheek. Then, I lashed towards his chest. I was quite surprised when he caught it, and snapped it in half, throwing a piece to the side.

I looked at the half I had, and spun the blunt edge towards my opponents. He laughed, and ran forwards. I span around a punch, and jumped over a kick. The force of the blow to his temple was so great the staff broke in half again.

*And sometimes people will cut you down. They'll spit on your pride, and destroy what you are. They'll do anything to ruin you.*

I tossed aside the small piece, and ran at the croc. He quickly grabbed my punch, and slammed his own in my face, throwing me to the ground.

*And sometimes they'll succeed.*

His foot slammed onto my chest, knocking the air from my lungs. I grabbed his foot, trying to get it off of me. Suddenly, his fist crunched against my jaw.

*You'll lay there broken, and wonder about how powerful you were not too long ago. You'll be angry. And sad. And hurt. But mostly angry. Very, angry.*

My feet curled up, and then shot upwards, using all my force into his crotch.

*And that anger will come out with the force of a god.*

I pushed him up, and leapt to my feet. Suddenly, I grabbed onto the horns of the charging bull. My entire body tensed, trying to control his ferocity. He growled, pushing harder.

So, I relieved him.

I slid out of the way, and kept hold of his horns. At this moment, he realized how close to the wall we had gotten. I rammed them in, pulled back an arm, and slammed my elbow straight into the back of the head.

I turned, and saw Simon stumbling to his feet, along with the croc. It was time to finish this crap.

*Then anger turns to determination.*

I sprinted towards them, heart pulsing strongly. They both stood ready.

I knocked the croc's fist aside, and kicked away Simon's. I used the momentum of the kick to fuel another one straight into the croc's neck. Keeping going with the speed, I slammed my foot down, pivoted off it, and uppercutted his jaw.

I turned back to the croc, and grabbed his tail. I yanked it towards me, and reared back my fist. For a second our eyes locked, and he saw the fire in them, and I saw fear. Then my fist rocketed into his jaw, and blasted him across the room, obviously unconscious.

*And that determination fuels every thought. Every thought creates a new movement. Every movement is strong. Powerful. Filled with purpose.*

"You and me, Simon!" I watched him lock eyes with me, and our movements immediately mirrored the others.

We ran towards each other, full force. I threw my fist forwards, and met his.

A sickening crunch erupted. I watched his fist crumple, and pain shoot through his expression. I spun around, and swung my foot, slamming across his face.

*And you are invincible.*

"Training Sequence Completed."
