Chapter 2: A talk with dad.

Greg just watched amused at the interaction between Ian and the fox boy. It seemed that Ian was already quite smitten, but it was harder to tell about the Kit though. he kept his emotions remarkably well hidden but he did seem to be enjoying the conversation as well.

"So you're from around here?" he asked.

"Yes I am. Born and raised here in Bayfield." Lucas replied, "And where are you from? Obviously you aren't Canadian judging by your accent. I'd say. England?" Ian just smiled at that.

"Close but no cigar. I'm Scottish, born in Perth."

"That's neat. my father's from Ireland. Dublin I think. and my mom is from Toronto." he muttered looking down.

"Really? Do you have any cousins? What about your grandparents?" Ian asked intrigued.

Greg could tell he wanted to learn as much about this boy as he could. Greg just hoped he didn't get too touchy feely. It was hard enough to hide the fact that Ian was gay from his parents, but keeping him from outing himself was always a challenge when he developed an infatuation. He noticed Lucas shaking his head somewhat before responding.

"I never met anyone from my father's side of the family. From what he said he was raised by a foster family most of his life. never talked about his parents that much and he said he didn't like the foster family much. and my mom. her parents disowned her when she married my father. They didn't like him because they didn't want their eldest daughter to marry a foreign man. I've never met them either."

Ian frowned some. "Well that sucks. I'm pretty close to my family. We lived with my granddad all my life until we moved here, and I have a lot of cousins," he told the other boy and Greg gave him a sharp look shutting him up.

"Oh really, so why'd you move here of all places?" Lucas asked.

Ian just shrugged and went to change the subject, "So you're Irish-Canadian? Neat! Have you ever seen Ireland?"

Lucas just shook his head, "Nope. the farthest away I've been away from here is Seattle. My dad used to take us there all the time when we were little." He muttered looking down, "That stopped when he got a promotion and he began to spend so much time away from home," Greg frowned.

"You're dad travels often?" he asked and Lucas nodded.

"Yeah, he works at some financial firm in Vancouver. Gold Standard Financial Corp. He's one of their top salesmen. He's in Bangkok right now."

"What about your mum?" Ian asked, "What does she do?"

"She's a model so she's always traveling. She just left for Cairo this morning."

"You guys are staying home alone?" Greg asked curious as Lucas nodded.

"Yes mostly for a week or so at the longest. They try and plan their trips so we won't be left alone for long but I don't mind we can both cook so no worries about us starving."

Ian just looked at the fox with even more interest, "How old are you? Just curious you know?"

"I'm sixteen. I'll be seventeen in December. why?" Lucas asked confused.

"Nothing, you just look a lot younger really. I'd have guessed maybe fourteen or so. your birthday is in December when?"

"The 15th, why do you ask? And do I really look that young?"

"My brother's is on the 17th funnily enough. And yeah you kinda do. err. no offense," Ian said with a sheepish smile.

Lucas looked towards Greg in curiosity. "So what about you?" he asked, "Since you have the same accent I guess you're from Scotland to? Your parents moved here as well?"

Greg just flinched a bit at that and Ian frowned but shrugged it off. It wasn't the Kit's fault he didn't know about Greg's parents. "Greg's parents died when he was two. He's been living with us for years."

Lucas looked shocked before he quickly brought it under control and looked towards Greg with an apologetic look. "I'm sorry, I had no idea." Lucas said his voice also apologetic but Greg just shrugged him off with no worry.

"Samasy?, you had no clue. It would be pointless to get angry about it. So don't worry about it," he quickly stated. "It was a long time ago and I don't remember them much." Lucas still looked sorry and he sighed, "I'm serious no harm done."

"If you say so. you speak Hindi?" Lucas asked fascinated. Guess he had never heard anybody speak the language before. Greg thought in a bemused manner.

"Yes, quite fluently actually, I'm half Indian so Ian's dad made sure I learned it." He stated in a polite manner. Eventually Greg decided to look around and saw Richard sitting near a white furred vixen. They seemed to be talking about something, "Hey, is that the sister you told Ian about Lucas?" he asked pointing towards the girl.

"Yeah, that's Erin. and I guess that's Ian's brother?" He asked and they both nodded. "Guess they do have classes with each other then." Lucas said with a shrug. He had finished his sandwich and was now munching on some chips. In between chewing and drinking his soda he continued his conversation with Ian.

Eventually Greg felt the fur on the back of his neck stand up and he turned around feeling somebody was staring at them. He noticed a girl. a coyote girl. She was a tiny thing even smaller then Lucas. But the energy he felt from her unnerved him somewhat. As did those green eyes. Aware of his looking the girl gave him a tiny smile and winked which confused him more. did she know.?"

"What are you looking at Greg?" Ian asked him breaking his concentration. Looking away from the coyote he focused back on Ian his own green eyes confused. "That girl is a bit young for your taste isn't she?" he asked noticing who Greg was looking at.

Lucas followed their gaze and shrugged. "That's Allison; she's one of Erin's classmates," he told them, "She's even more anti-social then me believe it or not." He stated with a breath, then he felt like his bladder was about to burst. "Well um. I guess I'll see you guys in class. I gotta take a piss," he said as he gathered up his mess and went to throw it away and walk out of sight.

Ian looked after him and Greg just shrugged. Ian quickly smiled at him before getting up to follow the fox.

~~~~
Ian followed the scent of the fox and found himself outside the bathroom. Closing his eyes and touching the door he tried to sense if anyone else was in the room. Thankfully he only felt Lucas in there and he walked in. He saw him standing in front of the urinal pissing. Ian pretty much went up next to the urinal next to him and took a piss himself. He felt the other boy briefly checking him out before he realized what he was doing and blushed. Ian could smell his arousal and it really turned him on. He wanted to lean in and kiss him to see if he tasted as good as he smelled.
"Um. you okay Ian?" Lucas asked in an uncomfortable tone.
Ian shook his head just realizing he was staring at the boy and his dick was starting to reach out of its sheath. Lucas had already zipped his pants up and was looking at Ian with a nervous expression his arousal fading away. "Oh um. yeah I'm good." he said quickly zipping up his pants embarrassed he was caught checking the little guy out. He also noticed Lucas blush a bit the redness shining through his white fur.
"Gre-great! I. uh better go get my stuff for class. see you later," he managed before running out at top-speed.
'Well that went well.' Ian thought to himself sarcastically. 'Yeah Ian, just come on to the kit. It's not like you just met anyway! Or he might not even be gay!' He should really apologize for coming on so strong to the kid.
Once he washed his hands he noticed Greg standing outside the door with a grave expression on his face. "What did you do? Lucas just came running out a few minutes ago. I doubt I've ever seen somebody's face go so red."
Ian just looked down in embarrassment.
"I um. he kinda caught me checking him out." he blurted out causing Greg to sigh with exasperation.
"I'm glad you trusted me enough to come out. But honestly trying to keep you in the closet is becoming more trouble than it's worth. Are you even sure that the Kit even swings that way?" Ian just shook his head. He really wasn't sure. The boy did smell aroused when he was around Ian but he might've been bi. "Just remember the Kit is a Mundane and the council really looks down on us Mages dating them. not to mention since you a Light Mage you're expected to father a lot of pups. You being gay make this situation tricky enough as it is."
He had a point as much as Ian hated to admit it. Him being gay would cause a lot of problems. Him getting serious with a mundane would only make things worse. but he really did like the Kit.
"I understand. but what do I do? Avoid him? I promised I'd be his friend and I don't break promises. and I really like Lucas." he said looking at Greg to gauge his reaction.
"It's an infatuation Ian. We've talked about it before. As cute as you find him you should know better than to force yourself on him. He might not feel the same way. but yeah cutting contact with him would be cruel. it might even make him even more distant. But just be careful." He stated as they began walking to class.
The rest of the day passed by quickly enough and Ian was kinda sad he didn't seem to have any more classes with Lucas. But just as he was about to grab his bike he smelled the boy and an unfamiliar scent coming behind him. Turning around he saw Lucas and a vixen. his sister if he remembered correctly. 'What was her name again?'
_ _
"Ha-hi Ian." he stated meekly looking away still somewhat uncomfortable. His sister was looking between the two a mischievous gleam in her eye. She stayed like that for a little but longer before she started to speak.
"So you are Ian? Luc just told me all about you! I'm Erin!" she said grabbing his hand and shaking it.
"Really?" he asked blushing somewhat wondering what exactly he told the girl. he then remembered he owed the Kit an apology. "Oh sorry Kit, um...Lucas.I'm sorry about earlier." he stated.
He noticed Lucas' blush and Erin's curious look.
"It's um. no problem Ian. Err. well see you tomorrow I guess," he said unlocking his bike and pedalling off with his sister following behind. Ian just took it as an excuse to look at the Kit's cute ass some more until he was out of sight.
"You are really hard for that kid aren't you?" He heard Richard's voice say behind him. Turning around he frowned at the other wolf. "What? It was obvious you were checking him out... You know bro, make sure the kid actually swings that way before crushing on him." he said grabbing his bike. He noticed Ian was ignoring him looking off towards were Lucas had pedalled off to.
Greg also seemed to notice this. "Come-on Ian let's head home." He muttered grabbing his own bike and getting on. Once he was sure the brothers where ready he pedalled off letting them go ahead of him.
Ian just let himself pedal, enjoying the sensation of the wind blowing across his face. He could still smell Lucas' scent it looked like they took the same path as they did to get home. He pedalled faster, not bothering to let the others keep up until Lucas' scent trail ended. He quickly stopped and looked at the house. It was pretty nice, a bit bigger than theirs. It was painted white and was three stories maybe, plus what looked like an attic. He could also vaguely make out a swimming pool a little back.
"Okay, so this is where the Kit lives. pretty nice. but then again his parents would have to be loaded to get them into that school. " Richard said as he parked beside his brother. Greg was last to catch up and he didn't look happy.
"Dammit Ian! I told you not to pedal out of my sight! Who knows what could happen if I lose track of you?" He managed once he caught his breathe. He sounded exasperated and then noticed what they were doing. "Why are we stopping here?" he asked.
"Ian's crush lives here I guess," was Richards reply and Ian just nodded. This was indeed where Lucas lived. His scent was everywhere and it was starting to make him hard. He wanted to knock on the door and say hi. maybe he could get invited in?
Richard noticed this and sighed, "Ian, I know you really like this Kit but."
"I know he's a mundane." Ian grumbled. He got it the first time but he had a feeling about the boy. He sighed and started pedalling again not stopping until he was outside his own home. It was a nice house near the woods. It was only two stories and not big as home was back in Scotland but it was home. He went through the door as he undid his tie and unbuttoned his jacket. He went to say hi to his father before he headed downstairs. They had made the basement a gym/living-room/training area so the boys could not only sleep down here but train as well.
"Hey Ian want to spar?" He heard Richard ask but he shook his head. He had other things on his mind than sparring with his brother. Light Magic wasn't much good for combat anyway, though he was pretty good with fire magic but his brother was a Water-Mage so he would be at a disadvantage.
"Nah, I'm going to lay down for a sec the day tired me out some." Ian muttered as he went to his room.
Richard just shrugged, "Suit yourself, hey Greg what about you? You haven't sparred in a while.don't want to get rusty do you?" he asked Greg as he walked in.
He had already taken off his shirt and showed off his 8-pack abs. He was a very good looking tiger and for the longest time Ian had feelings for him. He had worked up the nerve to tell the other boy. He told Ian he didn't feel the same way but he would keep Ian's secret. it just happened that Richard was listening in and ruined the bonding moment.
"Sure, I hope you're up to it Water-boy," he stated as he went to his room to change fully out of his uniform.
"I can take anything you throw at me Rock head!" Richard taunted back. Greg himself was an Earth-Mage.
Ian just rolled his eyes and went into his room and turned on the lights. It was pretty well lit and the walls were painted a light blue. He laid down on the sheets for a moment and thought of the day. It was pretty interesting, the teachers were all very good and the faculties were clean. but the highlight of the day was seeing Lucas in the bathroom, his arousal intoxicating to Ian. As he thought of the sent some more he felt his penis grow hard again. He felt restless. anxious. He really needed to get off. He quickly cast a locking spell on his door so nobody would interrupt him and undressed. He was a well-built wolf with broad shoulders. Rugby and basketball had done wonders for him. He lay down on bed enjoying himself as his dick came fully out of his sheath.
He touched himself and felt his back arch in pleasure. yes he really did need this. It had been awhile since he got the chance to blow one out. His thoughts then returned to Lucas. His pretty eyes and cute little smile and his intoxicating scent. Ian wondered what he looked like under that uniform. He looked so thin slender bordering on feminine. He then went with his imagination and thought of the boy panting underneath him. His arousal filling Ian's senses, he never remembered cumming as hard as he did. Once he came down from his orgasm he noticed his fur was covered in his semen. He would really need a shower. He cleaned up his mess as much as he could and put on a pair of shorts.
Once he was sure his penis was fully sheathed he went out and saw his brother and Greg standing in the ring they were going to use for magic training. It had several stone blocks for Greg to use and many jars of water for Richard. Earth Mages could only use the earth around and Water Mages were limited to the surrounding water. Strong enough mages could pull water from the air itself but Richard wasn't quite there yet. He stood there watching them quietly for a few minutes but he didn't notice Greg dodging a particularly large jet of water until he got splashed by said jet.
"Glub-blub!" he managed as he got knocked back a few feet soaked to the bone.
"Oh! Sorry bro. we didn't have a clue you were there!" Richard said running up to him.
Ian just turned him away with annoyance, "It's no problem, I was just going to take a shower anyway." he said walking to the bathroom
"So, what happened between you and this Ian boy that he to apologize?" Erin asked as he was looking at the book their father had gotten him for his birthday. It was an interesting book. It was filled with so many strange runes that he had never seen before. On a hunch he looked online and couldn't even find any runes resembling the ones in the book. Erin had once joked about the book being magic but he doubted it. magic didn't exist after all.
He calmly looked up from it before stating, "Nothing happened." before he looked back down at the book.
Erin just shook her head before trying again. "Okay I know something happened! The way you were blushing around him was adorable. you like him don't you?" she asked gleefully.
"I wouldn't want to be his friend if I didn't like him Erin," he managed trying to keep his blush from spreading across his muzzle.
"No you idiot! I meant you like him like him. you know in a romantic way!" she teased and he rolled his eyes.
"When did we get into Hey Arnold? No I don't like him like him. he's just a friend." he said.
Erin didn't believe him for a second, "Liar! You so do like him. you never let anybody sit with you but you let him. and that cute Tiger boy," she added with a giggle.
Lucas could only roll his eyes. His sister could be such a child about things.
"But really. what happened? I'll keep on bugging you until you tell me!"
He sighed knowing he wasn't going to be able to get out of this one. "He uh. was checking me out in the bathrooms."
Erin gave him a huge smile, "Oh! You got a boyfriend!" she teased giggling. "Lucas and Ian sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G!" She managed before he got her to shut up.
He loved his sister but god sometimes he wanted to just strangle her. His evil thoughts were cut off when he heard the phone ring. their Mom had called earlier today when they got home so Lucas was curious to see who was calling the house so late. Seeing it was his father he quickly answered the phone.
"Hello?" He answered before hearing that rough Irish brogue that was his father's voice.
"Hello? Is that you Luc?" he asked. After confirming it was indeed him the man sighed, "The deal didn't go down. I won't be coming back next week and I don't know when I will be sorry Kit."
Lucas felt his ears droop somewhat, "You'll be back for my birthday won't you? You promised." He hated how hurt he sounded like a little kid who was told Santa wasn't real. Why did he care so much? Not like his dad was there for the last three.
"I don't know. I'm sorry bud but my hands are tied. But I will make sure to take you and Erin out when I get back. you still like to snowboard don't you?" he asked and Lucas just said yes. "Very well then. I'll see you both when I get home. I am sorry Luc," he said before hanging up.
"Sure you are, you're always sorry," Lucas muttered bitterly as he hung the phone up.
"He isn't coming home next week is he?" Erin asked sadly.
He felt his anger bubble up again. Screw him for feeling bad, but seeing Erin so down made him so angry. with a few breaths he managed to calm down. "No he isn't."
"He'll be back for your birthday won't he?" She then asked and he just shrugged wishing he could've had a father who was around more.
