The Last Human Part 24

Three days later, it was happening. Raito was getting ready to perform on stage thanks to Scrooge, all the humans in Duckberg and everyone else in Duckberg were all there to see him perform. Raito was in the back stage, he had his hair all down, he wore a black T-shirt with a japanese idiogram of Peace on the front, blue jean pants and a pair of steel toed, leather boots.
"You ready Raito?" asked Scrooge.
Raito came out of the room he was in with a guitar and he knew he was more than ready.
"I am now." said Raito with a smile.
As they made their way towards the stage, a man come up to them. He was a middle-aged fox that was an inch or two taller than Raito, he wore a black suit and silver tie.
"Raito, I am Haji Katana. Ambassador of Japan." said the man in a low yet soft voice. "I realize that everyone in Japan has done you wrong and you suffered for that. But I have good news."
The man paused and smiled.
"Everyone in Japan has seen the heroic deed you've done for Duckberg, they were all wrong about you. They're willing to welcome you back in open arms if you want to come back." said Haji.
Raito knew he was telling the truth after he read his mind but he knew that he couldn't leave Duckberg, now that he's got a family, a home and a woman.
"Nothing would make me happier sir. But I want to stay here." said Raito with honor. "In Duckberg, I've found a home, a family and the love of my life and I can't leave them. I hope you understand?"
"I understand." said Haji as they hugged. "Give it your best out there."
"I will. said Raito.
Raito started to walk towards the stage and Haji joined the audience. As Raito made it out to the stage, he saw everyone there. The humans, the non humans of Duckberg, his non human family and friends, even a lot of people he didn't know, even Flintheart and Magica were there too. As the applause died down, Raito made his way towards the microphone.
"Hello Duckberg." said Raito into the microphone. "I'm Raito Iwamatsu, I've realized I've made a big change in this world when I came to Duckberg, at first, I was thinking I was the last human to ever live. But when I found out my kind was still alive, I clung on to that bit of hope like grabbing the handle to a door. I remember thirteen years ago, there was a little boy who always wanted friends, a family and a home. But this boy is eighteen now and it looks like he's got everything he could every want. I was that little boy, I've been in Duckberg for six months now and this song makes me think of how my life has gone from a boy who had nothing, to a boy who has something."
Raito's words were very inspirational to everyone there and the music started to play, on the jumboscreen, it was showing Raito as a little boy who was heading for the road and came across to the city of Duckberg. The song's tune was soft yet gentle, like soft rock as Raito began to sing and play the guitar.

Raito was a good singer and the song's tune started to get louder and more inspirational to the sound of it.

The song was getting to the good part as the tune got louder and the sound of soft rock sounded like it got louder too. On the jumboscreen, it showed Raito waking up in a bed and meeting the family that took him. He looked like he was feeling better and that he has found hope.

On the jumboscreen, it showed Raito and the family he was with having fun at an amusement park, riding on rides, seeing a comedy act on stage, eating some good food at a restuarant and laughing at some of the silliness going on.

As the music continued to play and Raito continued to sing, on the jumboscreen, it showed Raito and Bentina Beakley hugging each other and blushing.
"Have no fear for givin' in"
The jumboscreen than showed Raito taking off into the air and flying with wings on his back, rescueing a woman whose falling from a high height and taking her to a safe place on the ground, making a safe landing.
"Have no fear for givin' over"
The jumboscreen than showed Raito, Scrooge, Duckworth and Gyro going sky diving and jumping out of the plane, all of them hanging onto each others hands till they pulled the cords and out came their parachutes.
"You better know that in the end"

The music started to get softer and sounded calmer. On the jumboscreen, it showed Raito had succeeded in saving the world and Duckberg while he was in Bentina's arms and the two of them have kissed on the lips.
"Even if your hands are shakin'"

On the jumboscreen, it showed Raito, Scrooge and his family and friends visiting him at the hospital. Both Raito and Scrooge hugging each other.
"Even as the eyes are closin'"
The jumboscreen showed Raito looking outside the window and all of the humans outside were cheering for him for saving their kind from exstinction, all of the humans from their home planet were there. Raito smiled.
"Do it with a heart wide open"

The music was getting louder again and Raito was singing louder. The jumboscreen showed Raito finally convincing a crying Magica and Flintheart to join the side of good as he hugged them, comforting their pain.

The jumboscreen showed Raito bringing people the hope they need when they're going through a tough time and al lof them are at a church.

The jumboscreen showed Raito helping a lot of the teachers at the local school Huey, Dewey, Louie, Webby and Bubba go to, using his powers to make things interesting by making the chalk on the chalkboard move on it's own like magic. The song was starting to get softer and softer just as Raito's singing was.

The jumboscreen showed Raito at his first family reunion and he's meeting the entire family for the first time and they love him, even if he's a human.

Raito's singing stopped as the song started to stop. On the jumboscreen, it showed a final scene with Raito, all of his friends, family and everyone he knows and loves in a group picture and all of them are smiling.
As the song ended, everyone there had cheered and clapped as it was the best performance they've ever seen. Raito knew that this was a day he'll never forget.
