I lay in my cage and looked around. I was still in this horrible place, a place I wished never to call my home. I saw everyone was sleeping. It must have been late at night or either they must have been really tired. I curled up and tried to get back to sleep, but that same dream started to come back to me the day this all happened.

I woke up and started to get dressed. (Sure I didn't like School much, but I still had to go.) I walked downstairs to have some food then left to School. As I got there I started to wonder where Chris was. He was never late. But I shook it off and went to class. When I got in class we had few kids in there. I started to think there was there a school holiday or I missed something. Suddenly my head started to hurt and my vision started to blur. As I headed to the bathroom, I looked in the mirror and I swear my brown eyes have changed to a blue-like color then my legs started to feel weak and I fell to the floor and passed out.

I don't know how long I was out for, but as I woke up, I was being licked by a vulpix. "Oh Corbyn. I'm glad your alright." he said softly to me. "Huh? A talking vulpix? but vulpix isn't real. And how you know my na..." I stopped as I saw in his eyes and knew who it was. "Chris...is that you?" He nodded and nuzzled me. I saw I was a Pokémon too, an eevee to be exact. "It's alright Corbyn. Take this slowly..." he said, trying to keep me calm, which was doing a good job. "How did this happen?" I asked him. Chris shook his head "I don't know. But best we head to my house, since I got no family to worry about me too much." he said.

We left the school and headed to his house. He turned on the news and we soon found out what has happened. Almost everyone has been turned into Pokémon and the few humans left had made an alliance against the Pokémon, which bugged me very much, I turned off the T.V and went outside for the rest of the day.

Weeks started to pass as I was now getting very used to my new body and so was Chris. We were starting to get comfy with them, even starting to like it as we started having friendly battle with each other, which was really fun and helped us get better in our bodies. Then one day, when we were training, we heard some people fighting. So Chris and I went to check it out. We saw a raichu and a human, which was odd because humans and Pokémon were staying away from each other. "What do you want John? I said I didn't like you before and what do you want with a raichu anyways?" the female Raichu said. "Easy, I still want you Sammy and make sure your mine now with this." he said, pulling out a pokeball which made me and Chris gasp. "You will have to catch me first if you want me!" Sammy said. "tsk tsk... I got one more trick up my sleeve my dear Sammy." he said, as he pulled out a transmitter and turned it on, which started to affect the 3 of us it. It felt like it was hitting my brain started to make lots of pain to me. Then John went to her twitching body and tapped her with the ball as she was sucked inside if it then he turned it off. "See? Now your mine forever Sammy." he said, kissing the ball as walked off.

Me and Chris started to run back home. We were both scared after seeing what happened. "What we going to do, Chris?! Why would they make such a thing to harm us Pokémon?" Then as I was running, I hit a trip line that made a cage pop out from the ground and trap me. I tried to touch the bars I got a shock. "Chris! Help, I'm scared." I said softly. "It's alright Corbyn. I will go find help. I will come back for you, I promise." Chris said then lifts.

After Chris left, I heard the bushes move. "Chris....that you?" I said as two men came out from them and aimed a gun at me. "It seems we got an eevee. This will be great for studying our first eevee." one of them said and shot me with something. It stuck in my leg and I quickly blacked out.

Later, I woke up. I was in a cage with lots of other Pokémon. I was really scared, mainly because Chris wasn't here with me. I started to shake my cage. "Where am I? Can someone tell me?" I said then I heard a voice. "Hey there kid. Keep it down or you might make some trouble for yourself." He said. Then he started to tell me stuff of how to stay alive in this testing building and also told me his name was Cain and how he was in here a half a month before me. We talked for hours until some guards and a scientist came to my cage. "C-230 it is your turn. Will you walk or will we have to force you?" he said and I looked to Cain as he nodded softly. "Yes. I will walk." I said as they released the lock on my cage and I came out of my cage and followed them to a lab. They started to test the fullness of my body function. They tested me until I couldn't move anymore. Then they grabbed me and took me back to my cage and threw me in. I started to sniffle and cry. I wanted to go back home and forget this place. "It's OK kid. But it's only going to get worst from here on, so toughen up. You will be lucky enough if you only get tested once a week in here." Cain said. But I was too sore and tired to even listen to him. I fell asleep.

About half a month later, when I was lying in my cage, it seems they got another Pokémon. But it was nothing new until I heard its voice as they threw him in the cage across from me. "Hey! You better let me go before I roast you and you better tell me where my friend is! I know you were the ones who took him!" he said as he shook his cage. "Chris...that you?" I said as I went to check it out. "Corbyn! Oh thank the goddesses. I'm so glad that you are alright. You look horrible! Your fur all messy and you have bruises! What have they done to you?" Chris asked me. "I don't want to talk about it." I said softly, but Cain knew he was a friend of mine and started to tell Chris everything. Chris' blood boiled and growls. It was his turn to be tested. He put up a fight until they paralyzed his body with a needle. They cuffed his legs and muzzled him as they took him. I waited impatiently in my cage until he came back. They kept the cuffs on him and left him. I whispered to him. "Chris, are you alright?" He said nothing. I let him lay there, knowing just how he feels.

Then a new Pokémon came into the place and was placed right above me. I lost the track of time of how long I've been here. It felt like forever and the tests were not getting better. I looked up and saw he was a riolu and his name was Jacob. But I still didn't say much, but he seemed like a nice person which made me happy.

Few weeks later, Jacob was having a nap. I was called for a test, so I followed them to the lab. They strapped me down. I don't remember much from that test. All I can remember was the pain they made me go though. As the test started, they shot me with something. I felt my tailbone rip apart and split into 3 tails and my fur started to turn blue and white, then I blacked out. When I woke up, I was in my cage again. I looked at myself. They made me into a mutant, a monster. I was so mad at them, but too upset to get mad. I curled up in my cell and cried until they called Jacob and he looked at me. "What the!?" I heard him. I wiped my paws on my eyes and said "I know... I'm." but he cut me off and said. "Corbyn, what have they done to you?" he said. "Please don't look anymore." I said as I cover my face with my tail, because I didn't want Jacob to see me cry.

Then now, I woke up with everyone else since Chris made up a plan to get us out of here. I was willing to help. Jacob used his aura power he has mastered to get the remote and get us out of here and knock out the guard. I came out of my cage and saw a human as Cain said. "Oh no, we've been spotted!" I was scared there. "What do we do now!?" I said trying to think fast. Then he let us go and that got my hopes up, to know that there were still kind humans.

We headed to the next step of the plan, going to the control room. We found a guard and we all jumped him and got him to help us get to the control room. Then we finally got there and Chris started to do his work. I believed in Chris, he was the best hacker I know, Pokémon or not. Then about 10 minutes later, he released all the Pokémon. Then as we tried to escape, the scientist used the elevator and we were trapped up here. Everyone started to lose hope as I was starting to lose hope now. But some little spark in me told me to not give up. I said "What!? That's it! We came all this way, just to give up?" Few minutes later, we heard the elevator beeping as it started to come back up. It must have been the guards and I was scared that this was the end for us. Then the door opened and I saw it the guy from before who let us go. Then we started to head down.

As we got out of the elevator, we saw a guard firing their tranquilizers at anything that is a Pokémon. Then they saw us, but a dragonite did hyper beam and got them and. I sighed, "That was lucky." We started to escape now, and then as we nearly escaped the man told us his name was Luke. (It sounded like a nice name to me) Then the lights turned off and lots of big lights started to shine on us. It was hard to see because it was blinding my eyes. Then I heard the main doctor talking to Luke. Then he shot him and I started shaking my head. {no no no this isn't happening} I said to myself in my head then I saw Jacob's body was surrounded by a blue flame. It looked really pretty. Then he said he could see all the guards. He said about two hundred of them they were playing with us the whole time and we were now trapped rats. Then Jacob and Cain started to run at the lights and I followed with Chris and everyone else as we ran to them. More of us started to go down till about only about 10 of us left. I was running with Chris and he was determined to try his best to free us just as much as Jacob. Then Chris took a shot, and then I did. I knew we failed. As with the little energy left I crawled to Chris and put my paw on his paw. "Thank you brother... for being with me till the end..." I said. "I would never leave... without my brother..." Chris said as his eyes closed. Then I blacked out.
