Dreams of a fearfull night
Question Left Answered
I enter this room, so known but yet so unexplored
I enter by her hand, like a kite being blown about effortlessly by a breeze
I am filled with questions, questions of love, and questions of fear
Why has she chosen me what do I have to offer?
I am not a man of great talent; my words do not hang in the air like sweet golden nectar
My once great self has collapsed into fear, why has she chosen me?
She leads me towards the bed as thoughts rush through my head
Is this love, does she feel for me as I do her?
Fear over whelms me as she gently pushes me onto the bed
What if it's not love, what if she is not by my side when I wake?
These thoughts flood me like a wave flooding a levee
She leans in towards me, what am I do to?
She stares me in the eyes, what am I to say?
She kisses me and all thought is lost
As I return her kiss my fears are replaced with joy
She will be here when I wake
She does not care what I say because to her, my words sound of sweet bird song
She has chosen me because she loves me
When our lips connected I knew that I loved her to and for this night we will be together
