The Dragon Halfling

Jason was an ordinary guy living an ordinary life. He went to his high school everyday, came home everyday. He had just turned 18 and was 6 foot and was of an average body build. He was white, blonde hair, and wore glasses, on the choice of not wanting contacts. He always wanted his life to be different, to be special. He always dreamed he had a bigger place in this world than just schoolwork... little did he know that he was about to get this bigger role. Spring break...while everyone was out partying he decided to go fishing. Walking into the woods behind his house with a backpack full of supplies and his pole and tackle box, he started the 2 mile hike. Everyone in the house knew where he was going when he left without a word, wishing him the best of luck with the fishing.

As Jason climbed over a fallen log he thought "It's so quiet out here...so serene." He looked around taking in the beauty of the woods, listening to the birds. All of a sudden he heard a yip and saw the flurry of fur behind a tree. Running forward he immediately was taken aback. Caught in a bear trap was a wolf. Sorrow and anger began to build up in Jason's chest at the sight. Blood streaming down its leg and paw of its back left leg it caught sight of Jason. "Who could ever do such a thing" Jason thought as he set down his tackle box and equipment. As he approached the injured wolf carefully, it began to growl at him. "Whoa there. I'm not gonna hurt you... i promise" he said with a small smile. The wolf stopped growling and cocked its head at him out of curiosity. It then looked back at its leg and began to whimper. Releasing his held breath he approached closer. Animals seemed to understand him... maybe it was because they sensed his good intentions. Other people who saw him talking to animals told him that he wasn't even speaking English. Just some weird words. He brushed them off under the assumption that they were mocking him. As he got within touching distance of the wolf, it once again stiffened up but didn't growl. "Lemme help you... ok?" He asked the wolf, more out of his kind habits than the idea that the wolf understood him.

The anger built up even more as he saw that the bear trap wasn't even an old one. It was shiny stainless steel. A new trap. Placing a hand on either side of the trap's jaws he pried them apart freeing the wolf. Limping away the wolf looked back at him and took off. Jason then went to work disassembling the trap screw by screw. Eventually he was just looking at a pile of steel. Feeling satisfied with the state of the trap he picked up his stuff and went back to hiking to the lake. He grinned at the image of a hunter walking upon the trap and finding the steel scraps. As it got dark he realized he spent quite a few hours on the trap disassembly. Reaching into his backpack he pulled out a tent. This time he didn't make the mistake of taking the tent that could hold 4 people and only took the single man tent thus saving him space. As he set it up he listened to the music of the woods this time grasshoppers chirping. With the last stake in place he went to work gathering wood and tinder for a fire. Drawing his knife he struck the flint a few times until he got some sparks onto the tinder and blew on the embers until it burst into flames. Piling on logs until he was satisfied that it would last the night, he crawled into the tent... as his eyes slowly closed he thought he saw eyes in the distance and then fell into the darkness of sleep.

Waking up at the sound of howling very close he halfway unzipped the tent, peering outside. The injured wolf was within 5 feet of him, sitting by the fire but not so close as to burn it. Smiling he realized that he eyes he thought he saw earlier must've been the wolfs, following him. Reaching into his backpack he opened a pack of jerky hoping that he it would eat a few pieces. The odor of beef and pepper filling his nostrils he tossed a few of the biggest pieces towards the wolf. Sniffing it carefully, it looked at Jason for a second, then snapped up the jerky hungrily. Feeling pangs of hunger himself he put a piece into his mouth and chewed feeling the spices cover his tongue. "Mmmm" he mumbled as he finally swallowed. Jerky was something he had always eaten all his life... for as far back as he could remember. (You will see why in a few) He suddenly realized it was dawn as he peered back outside. Looking at the wolf he saw that it was asleep and smiled.

Climbing out of the tent he went to work on the task of disassembling it. After it was put away back into the backpack he carefully extinguished the fire and went back to hiking on the trail. Dew gathering on his shoes he walked through some ankle high grass as memories flooded his mind. Of family, of camping trips... Tossing his head up and looking at the sky he sighed. He missed those days. But he got a bit excited at the area... this meant he was close to the lake. He set off at a slightly faster pace eager to set upon his favorite pastime. "Wooooo!" He exclaimed as he set eyes upon the glassy reflection of the water. But something troubled him... the area didn't feel like it did before... it felt bad, evil... hostile, almost. He carefully approached the bank of the lake. Looking around he noticed a man cloaked in black staring at him. "Hello sir! Nice day isn't it?" Jason said waving. The cloaked figure said nothing. Jason's skin was crawling... the guy made him uneasy. As he set down his backpack he noticed the cloaked man move towards him.

Faster than the blink of an eye the man had Jason held up in the air by his throat. Fumbling at his belt, he drew the hunting knife he always carried and stabbed it at the figures head. The knife bounced off and instead tore off the hood. As Jason's vision went black and blue he saw the figure was wearing a helmet. Suddenly the fear for his life spiked and he kicked at the guy's chest knocking him down and releasing the death grip he had on Jason's neck. Gasping for air he attempted to sit up but the figure was already up and put its foot on Jason's chest forcing him back to the ground. The cloaked man produced a dagger and finally spoke. "Tonight... the Halfling dies...and so will the rest..." it whispered and swung the dagger downwards. Jason gasped at the extreme pain of the blade as it slid into his chest. Immediately he lost all ability to resist and slumped back to the ground, body limp. He couldn't breath and had one thought..."I'm gonna die." All of a sudden he saw a flash of red as something tackled the cloaked man. Barely managing to move his head he saw a scaled red figure, and resigned himself to death... the red thing was surely gonna finish the job the other one started he thought. As blood pooled around the black cloak the scaled red thing stood up and turned around. Jason saw a tail and had he been able to breath he might've laughed. "Looks like a dragon" he thought. The red thing walked over to Jason and picked him up off the ground with extreme tenderness. As he looked at the creature before he passed out he realized "It is a dragon" and sunk into the warm recesses of unconsciousness.

"GRAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!" Jason screamed as pain racked his body and he writhed on the ground. He could hear other voices talking "My god" a female voice said. A male voice said "He is the Halfling" And another male voice said with a strange coldness "Now we see if he is worthy of our blood". Another wave of pain coursed through his body and he this time yelled out loud "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!"(Not said in English. This was said in the Ancient Language. In fact everything after this point unless said otherwise is Ancient Language.) "Can't we do anything? He even speaks the language!" The 2nd colder voice said "No...His body will either reject the catalyst or it wont... nothing we can do" Jason suddenly felt strength profuse his body and he stood up. Looking down at his chest he tore out the dagger from his chest with a roar of pain. "I REFUSE TO DIE I REFUSE I REFUSE I REFUSE I REFUSE" he yelled.

With each repetition he slowly sunk into sobs until he sunk to his knees and stared at his chest tears pouring down his face as the wound began to heal instantly. Putting his hands on the rocky ground to support himself as he slumped over and suddenly stopped the tears. Blue scales covered his forearms and claws were where his fingernails were. He ripped off his shirt to see lines of scales rippling up his chest but they didn't completely cover it. Touching his face he felt his right cheek halfway covered with scales but not the other side. He looked around frantically, hoping to discover what did this to him. He saw the Red Dragon from before approaching him. "YOU! YOU DID THIS TO ME!" Jason roared and charged it. The Red Dragon easily caught the punch that Jason threw... Jason stared at it as it forced his arm down... then the Dragon hugged him. The action caught Jason off guard. "Glad to see you are alive... my brother"

Chapter 2

"Brother? No...You cant be!" Jason exclaimed. "Why cant i be? I am your brother... Aaron" "Aaron...what are you? What am I? What is going the hell on?" The Red Dragon released the hug, backed up...and right before Jason's eyes the red scales and tail began to recede from Aaron. Jason began sobbing again... his brother that he thought was long dead was alive...and right in front of him. Aaron placed a hand on Jason's shoulder and said " Calm down...relax...let your heart rate slow..." Taking deep breaths Jason felt his skin crawl as the scales recede back into his flesh. His back felt strange as the wings he failed to notice began to sink into his back. The claws remained however. Jason wrapped Aaron in a huge hug and squeezed. "Brother...stop... in my humanoid form i am weak." Jason stopped the crushing but kept the hug going. Releasing the hug after a minute he noticed that he was in a cave, and 2 dragons were standing in the back of the cave.

One was a Blue Scaled female...(hard to not see it was a female due to the fact of no clothes and big breasts) the other was a Purple Scaled male, who scowled at Jason. "Tell me...what the hell is going on please" Jason whispered. "Yes i owe you an explanation...but not here where we are vulnerable to attack. Sorry brother... but could you take a deep smell of this plant?" "Ummm why?" Jason asked suspicious. "You need... to accelerate your heart rate again... you are more vulnerable in this state...although not as much as me or any other..." Aaron said handing Jason a plant. "I swear if this hurts me in any way..." Jason said and took a deep sniff of the flower. Immediately he felt his heart start to race. The scales reappeared and the wings grew out of his back... this time however the scales seemed to appear more... uniformly across his torso... this time his entire chest was covered and small amounts of scales popped up on his neck but his face was left normal. For the first time he realized he had control over the wings...(impossible to explain) and moved them about. His muscle mass increased and his feet turned more Dragon-like. Aaron immediately transformed back into his Dragon Form but his transformation was a complete one. All the way to his hair which promptly fell out which made Jason want to laugh. Soon Aaron was covered head to toe in scales. "Lets fly" he said to the 2 Dragons behind him and also to Jason. "Ummm i don't know how to" Jason said "Yes you do...let your new instincts guide you" Aaron said with a grin which seemed weird with Dragon teeth.

As Jason continued to move his wings about stretching them and getting familiar with them, he had a sudden memory pop into his head. Laughing out loud he charged forward and jumped off the edge of the cave. The memory included this cave... which means he knew that it was situated off of a cliff. "WOOOO HOOOOO" Jason yelled into the air. Spreading his wings as the memory recalled he caught the air and started into a glide. Soon enough the other 2 plus Aaron caught up to him. Sheer elation filled Jason as the thrill of flying pulsed through his body. The others seemed to be feeling the same. Even the Purple Scaled Dragon seemed to have a look of happiness on his face. Jason looked at each of them in turn with a big grin, feeling a small thrill as he looked at the Blue Scaled female Dragon. As Aaron changed course and gained elevation Jason and the others followed suit.

"Are you enjoying this?" Aaron said...but didn't quite say... It was more of a thought thus catching Jason off guard. "What the hell?" Jason thought "I heard that" Aaron said "Speaking with our minds is a trait unique to the Dragon race. Good for flying when the winds are loud" "Ah i see... wait Dragon race?" "Oh come on...don't tell me you didn't see the semblance?" Aaron said skeptical "Yes i did but i didn't know for sure" "Well. There are more of us for one... for two you are not a full blooded Dragon. A Halfling...in fact the only Halfling that survived. The rest of us are pure Dragons. As you are a Halfling...you are actually stronger than the rest of us... the blood that DOES run through you are the genes of the strongest warrior of us all." Aaron then said with bitterness "Sadly he was slaughtered by that otherworldly cult that you were also attacked by... Want to know something?" "I need to know as much as i can before we get to where 'we' are all are so yes i do" "You should have died...even with the catalyst we injected into you to force the Dragon Blood to surface. Not even a pureblooded Dragon for one can heal that fast. Two... that dagger that you got stabbed by, killed Vrael. (The greatest Dragon Warrior)." Jason could 'hear' the pain in that thought... "Aaron must've witnessed it" Jason thought privately then asked "What should i expect of the Dragon Sanctuary" "Expect the guys to either want to challenge you to prove their worth, or them to want to follow you everywhere.....and the Dragon Women to swoon over you... you are a Dragon of legend after all." "Hahaha... so who are the other two?" "Ask them yourself hahaha you arnt a totally helpless hatchling"

Extending his thoughts towards the Purple Scaled male Dragon Jason asked "May i ask your name?" In a slightly gravelly thought voice he said "My name is Gage, Halfling" Jason was confused as to if that was a honorific or if Halfling was used in spite but said "Just call me Jason please" then extending his thoughts towards the Blue Scaled female Dragon he asked "May i ask your name?" "Of course! My name is Aphero." (a-FEAR-o) "Nice to meat you Aphero. Can i ask another question?" "Sure! But first what is your name?" "My name is Jason" "Good name" "Thank you...what did you mean by 'he knows the language' "What we are speaking right now...isn't English as you 'hear' it. I hear it as the Ancient Language as does the rest of our kind" "...so my friends weren't lying when they said i wasn't speaking English when i talked to animals..." "The Ancient Language can be understood by any race... if you would like. i could give you a memory of how i hear all the words of the Ancient Language." "I would be honored...if you would" Jason said. Aphero captivated him. Her poise, her voice... her figure...they attracted him... Aphero put a single hand on Jason's forehead and all of a sudden the true sounding of the words popped in his head, making him no longer hear English but the Ancient Language too. "Oh my god. The language is so beautiful yet complicated." Jason said to her. "Indeed it is...yet we can speak it and understand it without effort."

As they continued to fly Jason let the words flow out of his tongue enjoying how right they felt...the Ancient word for grass seemed to click perfectly like a key to a lock. "Aphero" "Yes Jason?" he heard her say with a bit of excitement in her voice "Why does the word 'Irüphéil' seem to fit...well for you?" Both a look of recognition and troubledness came across Aphero's face. Immediately Aaron said to Jason "Be careful with that word... you accidently came across Aphero's true name...and a true name has complete power over the person... never say that name to another soul. Even i don't know it. All i know is that she told me you figured it out already... guard it well." "i will" then to Aphero "Oh... that's rather strange...isn't it" Laughing almost she said "Yes it is... ask Aaron what else that means" "Aaron?" "Normally in Dragon Pairing one tells the other person their true name as a sign of commitment... basically... Dragon Pairing is the Dragon equivalent to getting married." "Oh...now i can see why this might be bad" "It would be best not to tell others that you know the name or they will ask if she is your Mate. Bad idea if that starts about... unless it actually leads to her being your Mate...but all that would happen in time...as you can probably feel yourself us Dragons have patience and can wait a long time.... cause we have been flying for hours if you haven't noticed yet." "Yeah I kinda noticed that a few minutes ago since the sun started going down in the sky." Jason stated. "But to be honest we are almost there. We will have to descend before too long..." "Aaron..." "Yes brother?" "Aphero ummm transferred a memory to me...how is that even possible?" Jason asked curiously.

"The Dragon Blood that flows within our veins is a bit strange... only the Dragons of ancient times would be able to tell us what exactly it is and as far as we know there are no more left alive... But something I do know. Maybe you've felt it too. Memories that are not exactly yours but are still yet a part of you?" "Yeah... one of those flashed back to me and basically told me how to fly." Jason admitted with wonder. "Yeah that sounds about right. It seems the dormant memories only surface when there is something in a situation that is relevant to the memory occurs. Does a name perhaps strike you when you think on this memory?" "Yes actually but every time I try to speak it, it sticks to the tip of my tongue and I cant seem to say it." "Hmm I wonder then..." Aaron said and returned to himself apparently in deep thought. All of a sudden Gage said "Time to descend." to the three of them startling Jason and had Jason been on the ground he would have jumped.

As they touched down on the ground he looked around. "Doesnt look like much." Jason admitted. The 4 of them were standing in a shortgrass'd meadow. Aaron looked at him and stated "As strange as it is for you to understand, the rest of those clothes have to go. You already stand out enough... dont want people to think badly of you. And cant you feel it in the air?" He could feel something in the air, the tingling of energy. Realizing that this place wasnt what it seemed he turned his attention to his tattered remains of his clothes. Stripping them completely off he was astounded to feel the itchiness on his hip scales disappear. Nodding his head at Gage, Aaron backed up letting Gage in front of him. Holding a clawed hand in front of him he began to speak in the Ancient Language. The air began to shimmer in front of him and he gasped in shock as an entire city appeared in front of him, with hundreds of dragons facing the 4 of them.

Chapter 3.

As they walked into the city Jason could feel the tension in the air. Speaking in the Ancient Language he asked Aaron "Mind telling me where we are going?" "We...well basically you, are going to see the current leader of our people...over 1000 years old he is and very wise. I would recommend you think about what you say carefully." Approaching the door of a very large building the 4 of them stopped and stood in front of it. "Enter, sacred halfling" A voice boomed from behind the door. Slowly pushing it open he couldnt help but gasp. A huge dragon sat on a throne made of stone. Immediantly he could feel the mind of the dragon too. So large and powerful that it made him want to shrink backwards. Extending a tendril of thought to Jason the being spoke to his mind saying "Well met halfling. It would appear you are already accepting the circumstances of which you were thrown into." Nodding his head Jason replied "That is true... but then again I wasnt almost killed in my old life." Rage could be felt through thier link as he asked "You were attacked? By whom?" Shaking his head Jason continued "I am not sure... all i am sure is that he used this." He said and reveiled the dagger he had carried with him this whole time, taking painstaking care to keep it hidden. Hissing the dragon replied " That is Ündbitir. A dagger meant to kill dragons. Put it over there, I cannot bear to look at it." Carefully laying it on the table the dragon pointed it at, Jason said "It makes the scales i have crawl." Nodding the dragon suddenly asked curiously "Did the person land a hit on you with that?" Pointing at the scar on his chest Jason said "More than landed a hit...stabbed me" Feelings of amazement could be felt through thier psychic link. "Incredible. The power of the Halfling is stronger than we thought. My name is Tamerlein. You need a dragons name...Jason would not simply do..." Tamerlein trailed off. "How does Ilumëo sound?" A feeling of recognition hit Jason and said "Ilumëo sounds perfect." Nodding his head Tamerlein continued "You need to learn the ways of the dragons. So for now you are to live with us and learn the skills you will need for survival... you may go." As he left the building, Aaron asked him "So whats the new name?" "Ilumëo" "....Truth... that is your name. Truth." Rearing his head back and laughing he continued "Well you are an interesting one" Aphero behind him nodded.

"Why is that?" (Jason shall be referenced as Ilumëo from now on) Ilumëo asked. "He believes you are the true one to replace Vrael as warrior and potentially Tamerlein himself as leader of the Dragon Race." "Now hold on a second. What exactly did i get tossed into here." A hand touched his shoulder and he whipped around, finding that it was Aphero who touched him. Nodding at Aaron (current dragon name is in the works. once i come up with a decent name ill proceed to call him as such) she said to Ilumëo "I'll explain it." Aaron replied with a quick "Ok" and Aphero simply said to Ilumëo , "Follow me" and flew off. As he followed close behind her, he couldnt help but notice her flying was more...elegant than himself or the others. As they reached a pillar of obsidian sticking up straight out of the ground, they touched down. "This pillar contains on it writings of the Ancients,...this is also a "mating grounds" of sort so you dont have to worry about being overheard here." Sitting down on an incredibly large tree stump she motioned towards the free spot left on the stump saying "Come sit down" Sitting down next to her, she began to explain the long bloody battle between an unknown race and the dragons. Her tale was so vivid, so detailed, that he lost himself in her words. Then she dropped the bombshell "And this whole battle...was over you Ilumëo. They wanted to kill you, we wanted to keep you safe from them. And we almost failed. You probably cannot remember this but you once lived here, looking exactly as you do now, but we put you in a deep sleep. The war had begun and we knew that you were our last hope had we all been wiped out." Although she couldnt cry, he could hear the slight sobbing in her voice as she said the last sentence. "Why are you crying "Aphero?" A look of anguish appeared across her face. Then springing forward faster than he could react she put her palm on his forehead, and transfered a single memory. All of a sudden realization clicked in his memory. "Aphero....my mate..."

He sat there stunned as waves and waves of memories crashed over him as the spell holding them sealed met its requirements for its release. He wrapped his arms around her and exclaimed "My Aphero! Mai frecai! (My lover) " She stopped crying as she stated "Ive been waiting 136 years for you to say that to me again" They let thier minds mingle once again in true passion and love, feeling consolation in their proximity. He also felt something in her mind that was foreign but was unmistakable. Lust. She kissed him and continued "136 years i have waited to feel you fill me up again." The human side speaking up for him he asked, "Are you sure? So soon and here of all places? You know that this place makes female hormones go wild." Smiling dreamily she said "Im sure" and wrapped her hand around his shaft.

As he was shocked at the sudden approach she made, she wrapped her wings around the both of them enveloping them both in blue tinted shade. He arched his head and gave her a sensual kiss, thier tongues exploring each others mouth once again. His shaft began to grow in her hand, and soon all of his 13 and a half inches were erect. Her mouth broke off the kiss and she whispered in his ear. He shivered as he heard his true name. She said his true name to make sure he understood how much she lusted for him...and to stimulate him as well. She straddled him and ground her folds against his cock...

A light growl appeared in his throat as sensations he hadnt felt in over a century thrilled his body. Breaking off the kiss, she asked "Are you enjoying yourself?" His only response was to growl slightly louder as his Dragon Blood heated up. He, with one hand, pulled her closer for a deep kiss, and with the other, he fondled one of her breasts. The hidden lust within was released. Slightly shocked by his willingness, she embrassed him, grinding a bit harder. Then lifting her hips she slid the tip of his cock into her folds...

As she slid down inch by inch onto his throbbing member, he let out a roar, (the dragon change had changed his vocal chords although not his head). Her tight warm wetness surrounded him. Gasping at his size her claws dragged across his scaly back as he stretched her immensely filling her up. Moaning as she began to slide up and down his length, he stood up catching her off guard and thrusting himself deeper inside her. Inbetween breaths she said "You've gotten stronger. In the beginning you wouldnt have been able to pick me up" With a growl in his voice he stated quickly, "Had more time to bond with the dragon blood...now lets enjoy this"...

"mmmm lets. Mai frecai" she murmered and wrapped her arms around his neck. Using her wings to make it easier she started bouncing on him. He likewise started thrusting keeping in beat with her bouncing. His sheer massive size for her tight tunnel made her cum quickly, making her muscles contract around his cock. Her contractions were so powerful it instantly caused him to explode inside her. As he filled her, they both let out roars of sheer pleasure. As his orgasm came to a calming down his scales began to receed. She wasnt shocked because this happened in the past. She removed himself from his cock and watched as his body returned to human form, tattoos now on his body...something that wasnt there before. As he examined his body's new markings he said to Aphero "These .... are Vraels markings. Why are Vraels magic boosters on my flesh?" Realizing as he looked down he would need some sort of coverings... he tapping into the magic stores in his mind, crafted beige cargos from thin air. As he did so his whole torso glowed like a lightbulb. Putting them on he began to run with dragon speed feeling ecstatic as the boosters augmented his flesh as well as his magic. Yelling back he said " Kviea ei yor cere! Catch me if you can!"

As Ilumëo and Aphero entered the dragon village everyone's attention was immediantly drawn to Ilumëo and the markings on his flesh. All had expressions of wonder but some with more of a shade of awe, or a shade of fear. One of the older dragons called out "Vrael's spell bindings!" A shiver went through all of the dragons except for Ilumëo as Tamerlein's mind touched them all to confirm this was true. As memories after memories authenticated this Tamerlein paused and said "...I need to see this for myself." As the large building door opened Ilumëo had to blink as sunlight reflected off of Tamerlein's brillant green scales. Tamerlein's massive figure crouched to get a good look at the markings. Ilumëo shuddered as recognition pulsed through his being. Tamerlein them whispered to him... "Ono threya mai frek... Are you there my friend" Before he knew it his body wasnt under his own control but rather in the control of something else much more powerful and older than him. " I am ...my friend" A new voice thundered using Ilumëo's mouth. Wonder pulsed through Tamerlein. "I missed you, Vrael."

Chapter 4

Cries of "Vrael" began to pop up through the crowd and Tamerlein quelled them with a light growl. "So this is why you disappeared in the ritual" he observed. Using Ilumëo's head to nod he explained. "My body was failing. I decided to bestow my greatest power to him...and accidently bound myself to Jason's soul." Then talking inwardly to Jason he said to him "I apologize for taking over... Tamerlein woke me up from within you. You dont have to worry about this becoming a permanent thing. My time has passed...my power is yours to do what you please, as is my knowledge." Then speaking to the massive green dragon before him he said, "I will not assume control of Jason...or Ilumëo as you have named him. This is his time not mine....make of it what you will..." with a final florish he said "This has been the last of the Dragon Warrior Vrael...dont weep for me for i live on in Ilumëo... good bye" "Wait." Tamerlein said piquing Vrael's interest. Then continuing using his thoughts, Tamerlein asked "Should we just tell them?" "Yes..." Ilumëo said startling Vrael and Tamerlein. "I think we should. The secrets been kept for long enough." With a bit of satisfaction Ilumëo stated "You may be a part of me Vrael but my mind is my own. Not to mention that i share your mental fortitude since we have bonded. I was caught off guard was all." Slightly amused Vrael replied to him saying , "You have a point...Tamerlein go ahead and start it off. We will fill in the gaps." Tamerlein let out a deep sigh, preparing himself for the reaction of the Dragons. Lies were something that was not frequently told amongst Dragons, thus making revelations of lies breed distrust. "Vrael...was not slain in combat as i told you...i kept this from you all at the request of Vrael." "You mind?" Vrael asked Ilumëo. "Lets do this." Ilumëo replied allowing his heart to speed up, stimulating the Dragon transformation. As the now familiar crawling sensation made its way up his body, he put a bit of energy into it making it a complete transformation, scales proceeded to cover even his head now. Vrael used Ilumëo's tongue to tell the story. "On this childs 18th birthday he stumbled across a battle between me and one of those beings." Vrael's (or rather Ilumëo's) voice cracked at this point as he said "As much as it as pains me to tell you, i was blindsided and nearly killed. This human intervened and gave the necessary distraction i needed to end the life of the entity. But in doing so Ilumëo was critically wounded...as was I... i decided to offer my life for his...as i owed him." Shaking his head he admitted, "I went too far and ended up binding my soul to him." My turn. Ilumëo said. Taking up control of his body he continued where Vrael left off "So he is a part of me... Precia de mai soika... Part of my being...my soul." Then with Ilumëo stating using his mind to project the thought and Vrael using his tongue, they simulatiously said "Please forgive us for the deception we have brought amongst you all"

The air was quiet. Nothing was said, nor was any hostileness detected by Vrael, Ilumëo, or Tamerlein. All was silent...save for the birds flying by and the insects in the grass. Finally... after a few minutes one dragon spoke up. "I cannot speak for the others...but Im personally glad you are ok...Vrael" Then simultaniously the rest of the dragons started cheering, many of them yelling "We understand! You live along with us inside him!" Then Ilumëo asked "Vrael... do you want to leave these people... thats what will happen if you decide to submerge yourself into my soul never to appear again." The silence of Vrael was enough to convince him "Vrael, the Dragon Warrior.... i would like to humbly request that you stick with me, to offer guidence and advice."

Thats all i have for now.
