From Wolfie with love: I would like to thank the above furs for allowing me to use their characters in my humble story, the story will be my version of the 70's hit TV show of the same name, I hope you all enjoy!

We begin our story inside the offices of one Charles Townsend, a Rottweiler billionaire who set up the Townsend Detective Agency; inside the office are the elusive Townsend himself and a Doberman by the name of Bosley, who is the only guy to ever see the Rottweiler.

"Now Bosley, I want you to go out and find three young cadets from the Police Academy, I want you to train them up and become their father figure; I want them to become my Angels"

The Doberman looks at me as though I have just chopped off his beautiful tail with an axe.

"Charlie, I'm not challenging you here, but are you sure that putting three cadets into a Detective Agency is the right thing to do? I mean don't you want to see the cadets that I pick?"

I let out a small giggle as I reply.

"Bosley, sweetheart, I trust you implicitly, that is why I asked you to paw pick the three cadets, you will train, lead and mentor them, I will just remain as the mysterious voice on the end of the speaker phone"

Bosley lets out a resigned sigh.

"Charlie, you really do enjoy it when you're making my life a living hell, must be why I love you so much. Alright, I will do as you ask, I will get you your Angels, and I will look after them, but don't blame me if they want to meet you at some point"

With that said Bosley stands from his seat and leaves the office, he then begins his journey towards the local Police Academy. After an hour's drive Bosley pulls into the parking lot of the Los Angeles Police Academy, he steps out from his car and makes sure that it is locked before he makes his way towards the main office of the Academy.

Having made his way into the main office, Bosley stands at the reception desk with his ID in paw, a middle aged Coyote is sat behind the desk working at a computer, he looks up to see Bosley standing at the desk.

"What can I do for you sir?" The Coyote asks.

"My name is John Bosley, I work for the Townsend Detective Agency, I believe that Mr. Charles Townsend has been in touch with you about allowing me access to your cadets, you see Mr. Townsend is in the market for three such cadets to join the organisation" Bosley replies.

The Coyote scans his computer for any sign of such an appointment being made; he then finds the appointment and replies.

"Ah yes, here we are, ok I will need to see some ID first before I go through the rules"

Bosley hands the Coyote his ID and the Coyote checks it off against the name that appears on the computer screen, satisfied that they are a match, the Coyote hands Bosley his ID back and then begins to outline the rules.

"Ok Mr. Bosley, here is the deal, you have full access to the Academy but purely as an observer, and you will have a member of staff with you at all times, you will not interfere with the day - to - day running of the Academy, you will not approach any of the cadets without first clearing it with either me, or the director of the Academy, Mr. Thomas Dale. When the cadets are on their recreation times, such as meal times, you will not be allowed to observe them"

Bosley nods his head in understanding and then the Coyote continues.

"Any of the cadets that gain your interest you will point them out to the member of staff, and they will fill you in on their background, and make preparations for you to meet the cadet in question. Now Mr. Bosley, these rules are not flexible and neither am I, if you break the rules I will personally boot your ass out, Doberman or no, do I make myself clear?"

Bosley nods his head as the Coyote hands him his pass, the Coyote then makes a call over his radio.

"This is the front desk calling Mike Tolan"

The radio crackles a little and then a voice can be heard.

"This is Tolan, what do ya want?"

The Coyote lets out a sigh and shakes his head, he then makes his reply.

"Mike, I got a John Bosley here at the front desk, he is here to observe the run...I mean the cadets as he wants to recruit three of them"

The gruff voice replies over the radio.

"And you want me to puppy walk him right? Okay, I'm on my way, Tolan out"

Five minutes later and a huge Draft Horse is standing in front of Bosley and looking down on him.

"Are you the JAFO that I'm going to be looking after?"

Bosley looks confused at the Coyote who then fills him in.

"JAFO stands for Just Another Fucking Observer, I'm sorry, you will have to forgive Mike's manners, as tall as he is, the blood never quite reaches his brains"

The Horse turns sharply towards the Coyote and hisses a little, before turning back to Bosley.

"Okay puppy, I take it that the throw rug has explained the rules to you, if not, tough shit, you are with me now, stay close, but don't get any fag ideas about fucking with me"

The Horse begins to walk towards a door which is at the end of the room; Bosley follows at a respectful distance and mumbles under his breath.

"Charlie, what the hell have you gotten me into this time?"

()()()()()()()()()

Bosley and Tolan have been walking amongst the cadets for about an hour when Bosley spots his first possible candidate.

"Mr. Tolan, I'm interested in that guy standing by the wall, the one who looks like a hybrid"

The Horse grumbles slightly.

"Trust me, that guy is trouble, his name is Rion Kagemon, and you're right about him being a hybrid, he's a Husky that has some Tiger blood in him, otherwise known as a Husger, he has a complete disregard for authority, in fact he put one of his trainers in hospital a couple of weeks ago"

A smirk plays across Bosley's muzzle.

"He'll do for my first Angel, I have also just seen another two that I want to know more about, but for now I want to meet with our Mr. Kagemon"

The Horse just shakes his head in disbelief; he then makes a call over the radio.

"Front desk, we have our first drop out for Mr. Bosley, its Kagemon"

The radio hisses back.

"Okay Mike, I'll call Mr. Kagemon into the interview room, take Mr. Bosley there will you please?"

The Horse grunts his reply into the radio and then leads me deeper into the academy. After a ten minute walk Bosley and Tolan arrive at a door that leads into some sort of office, Mike opens the door and walks inside closely followed by the Doberman, inside the office is the Husger that Bosley had picked out just ten minutes ago, Mike is the first to speak.

"Okay Rion, looks like this might be your lucky day, the Dobie behind me is a guy by the name of John Bosley, he works for a detective agency, and he wants to talk to you with a view to giving you a job, though Christ alone knows why, I will wait outside the office so you can talk privately, but I'm warning ya both, no funny business"

With that, the Horse turns and leaves the room, leaving just the Husger and Bosley alone. Bosley motions for the Husger to take a seat which the Husger ignores; Bosley sighs and then speaks to the Husger.

"Look Mr. Kagemon, I don't know what your problem is, but I'm here to offer you the chance to get out from the academy and start doing something constructive with your life, the least you can do is take a seat and hear what I have to say, who knows by the end of the interview, you may even like me, though I'm not holding my breath on that"

Rion looks down to the floor and sighs, and then he takes a seat, Bosley follows suit and sits opposite the Husger and continues to talk.

"As Mike Tolan said my name is Jonathon Bosley, and I work for..."

Before he could finish the Husger speaks up.

"You work for Charles Townsend at the Townsend Detective Agency, yeah don't worry, I have heard of you guys, so you are offering me a job with the agency right, well I'm sure that the shit eating Draft Horse has told you that I have a real problem with authority, so what makes you think that you can tame me?"

Bosley winces at the Husger's gruff tone.

"Mr. Townsend asked me to come to the academy and paw pick three young cadets whom I saw promise in to offer them a job that will push the boundaries of their guile and cunning as well as their physical boundaries, now I'm not going to lie to you my friend, the training that you have been through here will be nothing compared to the blood, sweat and tears you will lose if you accept my offer"

The Husger's ears flick a little as he takes in Bosley's words.

"So Mr. Bosley, you're telling me that everything that I have been through here at the academy will basically be a walk in the park compared to what you have lined up for me?"

Bosley gently nods his head and then replies.

"Mr. Kagemon, the Townsend Detective Agency is not the soft option by any stretch of the imagination; we will be taking on cases that most other Agencies would shy away from"

The Husger's eyes go a little wider.

"But Mr. Bosley, you have seen my complete disregard for anyone in authority, what makes you think giving me a job in this Agency of yours will make me any different?"

Bosley gives a gentle chuckle.

"Mr. Kagemon, actually may I call you Rion, well I'm going to anyway, you see, I too do not conform to regulations, there are but two dogs that control me, and I am the second. The reason that I have put you on my list of hopefuls is because of your shunning of authority, however, if you take this opportunity, you will learn to work as part of a team, you will have respect drilled into you, and in return, you will become respected yourself, plus the salary ain't all that bad either. So what do you say are you signing up here and now or would you like twenty four hours to think it over?"

Rion looks hard at Bosley.

"Have you got anyone else in mind to join this team?"

Bosley nods his head.

"As well as you, I have my eyes on a Fox and an Arctic Wolf. Please don't think that you can take your time with this decision, I am prepared to give you just twenty four hours to think about it, but after that I will have found someone else to take your place"

A small smirk plays across Rion's muzzle.

"Well Bosley, I guess you just found your first recruit, what happens now?"

Bosley stands from his seat and then stands in front of Rion with his paw outstretched.

"Welcome to the Townsend Detective Agency, you are about to become an Angel, Mr Townsend likes to give all of his agents one title, so in effect you will become one of Charlie's Angels, but for the love of god, when you first speak to Mr. Townsend, don't tell him that I said that, he would eat me for lunch"

The Doberman snickers as the image of his mate Charles Townsend fills his mind.

"As for what happens next, well, it's getting late, so you and I will leave here tonight and I will drive you to the place that will be the base of operations, of course, you will be given the opportunity to continue living in your own place and you will even be allowed to carry on your regular life, in fact, we want it that way, you see as an Angel there will be those who will want to hunt you down and kill you, but as Rion Kagemon, they will not be able to find you, tomorrow you will return here with me, but this time as an Angel and not as a Police Cadet, and you will help me to bring the other two guys on board"

Bosley knocks on the door to alert the Draft Horse that the interview is over.

"Now Mr. Tolan, Mr. Kagemon and I will be leaving here tonight, so I would ask that you please get the required paperwork started"

The Horse lets out a large groan.

"I hate paperwork, but if it gets this pain out of my hair I suppose it will be worth it, I take it that you will be back tomorrow?"

Bosley gently nods his head as a confirmation.

With the paperwork complete Bosley leads the Husger from the academy and towards his car, as they arrive at the car Rion's face gains a small blush.

"Is there a problem Rion?"

Rion lets out a deep rooted sigh.

"Well that depends on how the Agency feels about having an Angel who is Bi?"

Both Bosley and Rion get into the car and Bosley gives a hearty belly laugh.

"Rion, trust me, the Agency couldn't give a shit about your sexual preferences, I mean take Charles for instance, the only one that will ever see him as himself will be me, because I am his mate, and no, before you ask I won't show you a picture of him, he prides himself on his anonymity, all he will be to you guys is a voice on the phones speaker box"

Bosley and Rion make the journey back to the base of operations for the Townsend Detective Agency, once inside Bosley motions for Rion to take a seat, with that done, Bosley activates the speaker box and then presses the speed dial for Charlie. Charlie answers the call, knowing full well that it would be Bosley.

"Hello Bosley how is the search for my Angels going?"

Bosley chuckles and then replies.

"Well Charlie, I have one recruit sat in the office with me, his name is Rion Kagemon"

There is the faint sound of rustling papers before Charlie replies.

"Ah yes, Mr. Rion Kagemon, I have your file right in front of me now, and I can see why Bosley chose to give you this opportunity. I hope that Bosley was not too harsh on you, he has a tendency to be a little rough, must be his Doberman blood, anyway guys, I know it's late so I will bid you both a good night... oh and Rion, welcome to the Townsend Detective Agency"

With that the line went dead and Rion gave Bosley a look.

"So that was Charlie huh, he don't sound so bad"

Bosley lets out a deep growl.

"That's Mr. Townsend to you whelp, you have a lot to learn about respect, especially when it comes to someone like Charles Townsend. Now I will lead you to a room which you can use to sleep in for the night, I will then secure the office and head back to my own bed, I urge you to get some sleep, because tomorrow is going to be a long day"

Bosley leads Rion upstairs to the room which will be his home for the night; he then locks the main office and then heads out for his journey home, safe in the knowledge that there is a beautiful Rottweiler waiting for him.
