Essentially everything had finally seemed peaceful. It only lasted a minute before everyone realized where they were was no better. There were still so many lives that lived on threads of hope. And there were still those who had the power to manipulate systems to their will. War: now more than ever seemed inevitable. Each creature bridged to their own scenario which made it that much harder to unite anyone under a common goal. I had seen this share of violence which is why it befell to this world. Its rules had changed greatly and so did the creatures that inhabited it. And this all dated back to the day this first began. One pure moment of pleasure was taking out of context due to an experiment gone terribly wrong. The energy and buzz this one moment caused far excelled any other. On the very threshold of this wildfire was Veemon. His name echoed around the world and others were taking actions that they thought would be necessary to insure the safety and peace return to the world. That is why Monodramon stood before Veemon ready to deploy his new plan.

Monodramon deployed, "There is only one way out of this. And it's not going to be pretty."

Veemon asked, "Why should I trust you?"

Monodramon looked at the window of Veemon's house looking at the horizon, "Because it's been my intention to fix everything that has occurred."

Veemon hesitantly accepted, "Fine what do you have in mind."

Monodramon looked back to Veemon, "To reestablish the former relationship between you and Gatomon."

Veemon raised his voice, "I'm with Impmon now. And for once in my life I'm finally happy. I'm not going to throw away what's felt like the first real relation I had away."

Monodramon revealed, "He doesn't love you. His mind had been lost and at daze ever since Renamon was gone. His heart had always belonged to her and due to your other half she is gone. But I've speculated that Reemon might revive her just to crush you into the dust."

Veemon asked, "What?"

Monodramon went on, "He was going to bring you back and allow for Impmon to betray you. With no hope left you wouldn't be able to handle any fight that came you're way."

Veemon with pure content to keep Patamon and Gatomon happy, "I'm not going to ruin what huge relationship they have together..."

Monodramon smirked, "Gatomon already agreed. As a matter of fact as soon as I came up to her she knew just what I was going to ask."

Veemon knelt down, "There has to be another way."

Monodramon picked Veemon up, "I'm afraid we don't have much time."

Veemon asked, "What about Patamon?"

Monodramon said, "He's finally fallen into darkness. He tricked his own son into what could be his demise."

Veemon asked, "What are you on about now?"

Monodramon explained, "Patamon used his son and allowed him to be the one to get with Lady Elecmon. Unaware to both of them Angel has been sent in to take out all were wit Lady Elecmon during that wipeout."

Veemon asked, "Why?"

Monodramon answered, "She is a criminal of the digital world and this world as well. She has always been on the path of darkness; she has wiped out a lot of Digimon. She is an assassin of true intelligence. Her first mission here was to take out Patamon but she did really end up falling in love. After a wakeup call from the wipeout she intends to kill Kade."

Veemon ran for the door, "Than we have to save him first."

Monodramon looked down, "It's most likely too late. Angel works incredible fast. Only thing is Lady Elecmon works just a bit faster."

Once again the bridge of balance had faded. All that remained was war. All this deception and chaos had one source: Reemon. This one creature had managed to maintain a constant state of chaos for years. And no one had ever come close to finally taking him out once and for all. With all this in mind Veemon hesitated but joined Monodramon's scheme and the relationship between Veemon and Gatomon was reborn into this year's twist of relationships. Patamon and Impmon were both left out of the loop to keep a constant lid on the truth. On top of that Monodramon was correct Lady Elecmon was able to strike able to take out Kade. Her fate would soon be sealed by Angel who finally caught her. Everything was begging to tie into each other as Veemon continued to seep back into his life events. Impmon had come across him in the hall.

Impmon asked, "Hey where have you been? It's been like a month or something?"

Patamon asked, "What were they doing here?"

Gatomon yelled, "Does that matter? They were here and not off elsewhere."

Patamon looked down, "Our son is gone."

Gatomon said, "I know."

Patamon looked right back up, "How do you know."

Gatomon said, "It was Elecmon of course. Ever since the first time I met her I knew she was trouble. She was going to kill you and she should have. And if I recall you were the one who tricked him into being with her. You've fallen into darkness for the first time and just as I predicted you've fallen so far you don't even know what to do. I was born into that world and I kept on warning you but you couldn't stop digging deeper."

Patamon knelt down, "It...was...I can...wait."

Gatomon said, "There's no need for your tears or wasteful explanations. I gave you one last chance and you blew it. You and I have nothing left to hold on to. As far I'm concerned Veemon is her father. Were done forever, I feel nothing for you now."

Patamon begged, "Please, just one more chance."

Gatomon said, "Look inside yourself is there really even any there left for me. You have to learn to grow up and move on. With each thing you had you managed to find a way to screw it up."

Pat looked down, "Does that mean that I should just give up...?"

Gatomon said, "No. You can't just give up either. You choice the path of darkness for the first time and you're probably thinking at this point that it was too much to handle. But thus far you've had a pretty easy life considering all the factors. You have no even scratched the surface of how much you can lose. When I grew up I always believed that I had nothing. I was tortured by a vicious and relentless lord. I was dragged into hellish battlefields with no hope or belief that I would make it. But there was one creature that retained his fate in me: Wizardmon. For each time I got down he was there to pick me up. When he dead everything that I thought I gained was flushed away. Then you and Vince came along. And for a long time you both gave me plenty of hope. But I was forced to keep making the difficult decisions. Even when I had something to attach to I still felt truly alone. Then our first kid came along and I thought we could finally settle down but once again I was the one buried in pain. But I kept on going and I here I stand with a new found hope still. But you all your life he was spent fixated on me. And you got to me and you even had me but you blew off our son. And you had the chance to redeem such a letdown you do it again. You followed me into the darkness but then you fell further than I did and now you're in there fully."

Patamon said, "I screwed up. And I have no one to guide me. I'm lost."

Gatomon said, "When I was in full darkness I had to escape on my own without anyone's help. You have to find a new path and take it."

Patamon said, "I don't know where to begin."

Gatomon said, "You can start by leaving this place. And don't come back...ever. Take a long walk and see the world with open eyes. You can find a new way but it's up to you. But if you stay here much longer I'll have to consider you an official threat. Then I will have no choice but to kill you myself.

Patamon left stricken with all the actions he took. His world was consumed by darkness. He could even see it all around him. It took a life a form of its own. He was as low as Dorumon had come before breaking into this new found domination plan. St had been here for a long time but had long been rescued by Spike which since then they've been together as a couple. But Patamon sailed alone feeling like an empty vessel. The world thought it was done with him but the original still stood in a physical presence.

Reemon slithered around, "I have long been trapped in a place I loathe. There was no one to cling from the darkness. They all escaped from me. I was left and trapped here for so long but know there is you."

Patamon said, "No, no, I couldn't have come this far!"

Reemon said, "I am the darkness. When creatures speak of it they speak of me. Why do you suppose no one ever goes in all the way? It is because they fear bringing me back into the world. And now you've hit that point."

Patamon said, "This is all your fault. You're the reason I'm here. If it wasn't for you I would have never lost my son. I would still be with Gatamon."

Reemon said, "You brought that on yourself. I was brought into this world and was tricked into soaking my sorrows and oddly enough was satisfied by that blue alien. It was because back then I shared all my qualities with Veemon. But with different creatures entering and leaving the darkness the more I changed. With ever creature I was with I felt different. I realized that I've become my own creature. But the world has fated me with no one. I still linger to the curse that I was born with. I can't stay with one creature for too long. But everyone seems to be with somebody, everyone but you and Dorumon."

Patamon said, "I'll never be with you."

Reemon said, "I knew you'd say that. Its ok I have no interest with you at the moment. My eyes are Dorumon right now anyway. But that doesn't mean we won't get a chance."

Patamon said, "You're sick."

Reemon said, "I cannot fight the way I was born. We all have all downfalls. But I don't mind it at all. I could use some company it's been a while. But before I go there is something I'd like to ask."

Patamon asked, "What?"

Reemon said, "I have truly accepted my fate for a while now. But for a while you've been fighting your fate how is it that you do that?"

Patamon said, "I have no idea what you're talking about."

Reemon said, "You weren't meant to fall into darkness. But you kept going for it just to be with Cat. And your own fate has been thrown away."

Patamon said, "That doesn't matter. I can always start over. Even if I do have to walk out of here by myself, I'll find a way."

Reemon said, "So Cat uplifted you after all."

Patamon asked, "How do you know about that."

Reemon said, "I've kept my on her. She's always almost comes to me but never truly does. But still I have no room in my plan for her now. After all I plan on saving the world."

Patamon said, "What kind of bullshit is that. All you've done is destroy everything."

Reemon said, "I never absorbed any of them. I teleported them back to the other world."

Patamon said, "How come you've never said that before."

Reemon said, "I was stuck here were no one else has been for years. And I didn't want Veemon finding out. He's the trouble of this world."

Patamon said, "Yeah ok, I'll agree there."

Reemon said, "He came back just to get me out of the way. Now he has the support of Gatomon and Impmon. He's getting real close to finishing his plan. Soon this world will fall before him and I can't let that happen. So will you join me?"

Patamon asked, "Join you?"

Reemon said, "In the upcoming war. We have to defend this world before there is nothing left. Veemon will swallow the world whole."

Patamon said, "I want to see my son."

Reemon asked, "What?"

Patamon repeated, "I want to see my son."

Reemon said, "I can't do that. Going there is a one way trip. They all have to find their way back which I image is what there all doing now."

Patamon asked, "How can I even trust anything you say?"

Reemon said, "I suppose you can't. But... What the hell Dorumon got all the evil clones out."

Patamon asked, "Evil clones?"

Reemon said, "I thought Dorumon was on my side but I couldn't have been more wrong. He's out for his own glory and he's using my clones to get his way."

Patamon asked, "And why is it that your clones are evil."

Reemon said, "Because they follow my original program. The one I slipped out of while being here. But they have no sense to change they are just there to kill."

Patamon said, "And what are you planning to do about it."

Reemon said, "I will stop them."

Patamon, "I'm going to help. But don't think I'm not going to be keeping an eye out on you. If you even think about playing me for some bigger scheme than you're dead wrong. I still don't trust you."

Reemon came closer to Patamon, "Sometimes in this world you have to have fate. Understand that it is the very thing you lost in coming here. This could be you're very chance to start over. But you should at least try to believe in something else for once."

Patamon said, "How can I? Every step I take I'm noted that you're the evil one. And you keep trying to spin the blame to your other half. Maybe I'm not the only one who should think about starting over."

Relic said, "You think I was going to stop him by killing him. You are so blind. If I could just get him alone and talk that would be enough. I believe he along with Dorumon can change. Now follow me and note how I handle this. The only things that don't belong in this world are those clones; that's the only thing I plan on taking out."

Patamon said, "Ok fine. Then let's go."

When Reemon stopped Patamon asked, "What was that for?"

Reemon said, "The nature of my being trying to satisfy itself. You've done this with my other half. And since I share his memories I felt that too. It was like we almost had something."

Patamon said, "We don't have time for relationships."

Reemon said, "That is where you're wrong. As your well aware when Veemon sleeps with another creature he can manipulate the to his side. I also inherit the gene. I can turn all that hate into love. But this also requires that I take on the hate they all feel for leaving them. That is the burden I've bared since my existence. I am a dark knight of love. When this is over I'll be right back where I started."

Patamon looked off to the side, "I wouldn't hate you for leaving me. I've faced enough rejection to not carry off such hateful emotion. I'd understand that if you really went through with this that it would have been for the wellbeing of our world."

Reemon got closer, "If only the rest of the world could see it that way."

Reemon planted another kiss this time Patamon giving some back completely succumbed to Reemon's sexual desire.

They had finished. Reemon had now cleared his alliance with Patamon. Together they set off to search for Dorumon and his army. Scourge was on a tall building seating at the ledge with B.G.

B.G. asked, "Wait didn't you for Wiz...?"

Scourge said, "Oh no I drugged Son and painted him green. You dominated me and the whole time I thought it was really cat but then I knew you painted yourself for a favor. We had Kiff to rise and all this time I couldn't stop but think that ever since then we haven't done anything serious."

B.G. asked, "And you came to the conclusion that you want to get married."

Scourge said, "Yeah, I also wanted to have another go, this time without any tricks on either end. I've been yearning to be with you in such a more true way. It's always felt like we've just been hanging out together for a years but I want more than that."

B.G. said, "I've always wanted to be in a real relationship. And you have been there even through strange ties. But we still exist and I couldn't think of anything better than marrying you and getting another go."

Scourge said, "I'm guessing that is you way of saying yes."

B.G. said, "No this is."

(Agumon's Dream)

Agumon had been entered inside a dreaming capsule ever since he had returned to the Digital world. In this dream Agumon and Veemon had been long time friends. School was just another day and Impmon was his old mean self that had long bullied against most others. As far as the dream Agumon and Veemon went to the same school and shared most hobbies. One day Veemon suggested that they go to the club to try to get female partners. Agumon accepted confident in his abilities to impress the ladies. They went and when the music started they started off somewhat close together. Neither of them could spot someone that was single. The entire night seemed to be a waste. It was just them dancing alone. Agumon had felt weird that night and couldn't stop thinking about his solo dancing. His dream carried him to the thoughts of dancing with some lady he didn't know. When he woke up he was displeased to find that it was just a dream. Everything about it seemed real. Still Agumon had faith that one day something would spark. He would always have Veemon to back him up. After school they both tried again this time without really realizing it they danced a bit closer together. It was as if they were trying to fend themselves off from all the couples around them. Once again they were shot out in the dark with no prize. Once again Agumon's dream would revolve around the club. The face of the dancer he was with became clearer. She had dazzling green eyes and a perfectly smooth body. This time he could also see Veemon there not dancing but somewhat discouraged that he couldn't get someone. He woke up again he looked under his sheet to see that he had been turned on by this woman. He was still wondering if this was only some strange temporary feeling. Agumon woke from his almost woozy trance and looked down to see that just thinking about it was once again turning him on. Agumon turned his head again and saw that Veemon was leaning in closer and then even kissed Agumon. Once again Agumon woke and once again he body could barely handle it. This time it became clear. The only thing Agumon could think of now was Veemon. Even on his way to school he thought about everything they had been through. The entered inside and the music selection was different. Both of them were pretty much fans of almost all music that could be danced to. This time when Veemon began dancing Agumon faced with him side to side. At one point Veemon hoped and spun to face the other way while doing a rather displayed lower swish with his lower body. It was fear that kept the bullies away all this time but if they found out that there were a couple now they would be the subject of bullying every day. Veemon said, "Yeah were going to have to keep our love on the low for during school. But that doesn't mean we can't be together here." Agumon said, "If we push our urges more here than it will be harder to do so in school as well. We got pretty wild last time and I don't want that slipping into our school life." It was none other than imp. He was the worst of them. He too was very skilled but; he constantly sharked around everyone trying to exploit them. He went up to Veemon and said, "Heard you two like to go clubbing." Agumon panicked but Veemon kept his composer, "yeah we got and try to impress the single ladies." Impmon said, "I'm down for a good clubbing cause then I get to tear some chicks up."

They both knew they'd reject his offer would imply something was going on. Veemon said, "Sure you can tag along if you can keep up."

After school the three of them went down to the second club where Veemon and Agumon became somewhat popular. Veemon quickly spotted out Gat and rushed over and took her to the dance floor. Impmon said, "Damn he works quickly."

Agumon looked to see a nice flower girl he also went out trying not to stay attached to imp for long. Impmon just watched on as the four of them seemed to group pair off. Once again the caught the attention of the audience, once again Veemon and Agumon captured the dance floor with their new and as equally talented ladies. The night went off without a hitch or a worry. Imp was trying to get them and was again thrown off by their amazing talent. Imp went home. Veemon and Agumon dropped of the ladies they had got with and give them a quick kiss each. They went home and they both got in the same bed. Veemon looked down someone bummed that this charade would have to last two more years. Even though it was Agumon that implied that they stayed being separate was having more difficulty dealing with it. Agumon closed his eyes trying to force himself to sleep. Veemon just tuckered in and started sleeping. Agumon opened his eyes and looked at Veemon semi snoring. Agumon blushed and he could feel that reaction coming back. Agumon came in closer and pressed his lips against Veemon's. Veemon was a very light sleeper and woke and saw Agumon perched on his lips. Veemon gave Agumon a little push up and out and leaned back up. Veemon opened his mouth to speak but Agumon eyes looked right into Veemon lost in him. Agumon forced his way into another kiss. It was already too late. Both Veemon and Agumon were totally exposed for the whole school to see. Too meet them at headway point was the one they feared would. It was Impmon with a disgusted look on his face; he extended his hand and asked, "What do we have here. You two the most too popular guys are together like this. Clearly you both have to be punished."

He had one of his goons take one of them and he took the other. He grabbed a blindfold and tied it around Veemon's eyes. Impmon picked him up and tossed him in his car. Impmon drove him off to his house. Impmon took him to the basement which had plenty of torture devices around. Impmon cuffed Veemon to the bed. Impmon easily assumed that Veemon was rather enjoying this to some degree even if he was crying out. Those sounds felt like they were some far off dream. Impmon placed his hands against his Veemon's chest and from beyond the gloves he heated up his hand. The short cry became a ghastly painful yelp. Impmon knew Veemon had withstood terrible torture before. Impmon could see it and Veemon knew had been punished before because of his choice. It was long made up and Veemon took too kindly to too many hearts. Veemon toyed with them made them feel loved. But in the end they all ended in pain. Veemon had caused this pain by leaving. Veemon could never be satisfied with any other creature. This pain here wasn't for vengeance the truth was that Impmon knew Veemon was going to give into sooner or later. The truth also was that Impmon had always felt that curiosity beating him down since he had never felt such pleasure. Impmon wanted Veemon just like this. Impmon could care less even if Veemon fell in love all over again afterward. Impmon wouldn't be hurt. All Impmon wanted was the passion. Impmon knew Veemon creature before him could deliver and probably give even more than expected. Impmon pressed harder letting Veemon not let up. Impmon only moved his hands down slightly before Veemon began to react. It was only a brief short tingle but it would be enough to start getting Veemon in the mood. The heat by nature started to feel like normal temperature. With the pain subsided Veemon was able to feel and know why this pressure was being applied. Impmon couldn't help it Veemon let out a ghastly moan. Impmon lifted the Veemon's shirt and pressed his heated glove against Veemon's stomach. Thoughts of before came back. There was this moment and the one who stood above him he found adorable in too many ways to count. Veemon was fully stiff to the brink. Veemon let out more moans as the kisses worked down. Impmon said, "Let's see what you're hiding down there."

When Agumon awoke and quickly realized he was in the digital world he knew he had to get back. He looked to see Kade with him also awoken from a dream he had as well. The two of them partnered up. Agumon had one last chance to change it and he did. Agumon was able to find a long lost soul that had roamed here. Gaomon had long awaited the day were he could be a part of something like that and he was give it to him with his love. Kade would make his way back and transform her former love back to the way she used to be. But first they needed a gate home. They also encountered Renamon who had taken the pleasures of being with Guilmon. All was painting out rather nicely as far as everyone finding their special someone sure it took some trial and era but it was starting to puzzle together quite nicely. For once Veemon would be able to stay with the one he was with for quite some time being Impmon. She knew the time would come when everything would return and that would bring peace and her love back to her. However nothing was ever so simple. There was still evil and it had overwhelmed this world for far too long. As such one couple that had remained together for the longest period was finally going to unify their eternal sanction in marriage. Every other creature had respect weather good or evil to them because there were able to make it together from the very start.

In the real world Veemon and Impmon and developed there new relationship status as being Impmon was always dominate over Veemon. Veemon looked into Impmon's eyes and said, "I just can't stop loving you. Not know. I know what you said before but I don't give a fuck. I want you to be all over me whenever you must be. I've never had a relationship that's lasted this long. My heart and soul belong to you know. I want to cradle in you're arms for however long I can. I love everything about you. I want to feel you beating heart press against my ear. No matter how far a part we go I always want to return back to you and only you. I've never felt so about anything in my life."

Impmon tried not to cry, "You can't do this to me. I'm the bad boy god dammit Veemon. I'm a free rider. My heart as much a roller costar as it is yours. I can't stay with you..."

Veemon came closer, "You know you want to. Neither of us can resist is anyway but that is irrelevant this is about love that can last."

Impmon tears came down a bit, "Veemon, it won't last. Something will come and tare us a part."

Veemon came right up to Impmon, "Than let the time we have together mean something."

Veemon kissed Impmon and Impmon couldn't resist such a passionate kiss. Impmon blurted out while sort of tonguing Veemon, "I love you, you asshole."

Rain started to shower them but they could care less. There kiss was pure and of true conviction. They kept going until Dorumon his army started marching their way toward them."

Veemon turned to see them as soon as they came close on the other side came the real Reemon with Patamon.

Impmon said, "Well shit, that didn't last long at all."

Veemon looked at Patamon, "Why are you with Reemon."

Patamon said, "Because I finally see that my problem is you. If you didn't exist than I would have never lost anything."

Veemon said, "Reemon was the one who ruined your life. I was happy that you were with Gatomon but you were the one that let it slip away."

Patamon said, "You were the one who sent my son away. I will kill you and there isn't anything you can do about it."

From above the rooftops Scourge said, "I might just turn the tables."

Scourge leaped down joining Veemon and Impmon.

Dorumon said, "Do you really think you can take on my army. You will all perish before me. I will dominate this world."

Scourge said, "I've ruled this world twice. I'm not about to let my record be cut off by a Digimon that needs all this."

Dorumon said, "This is just insurance that I will win. I can handle you by myself."

Scourge said, "Oh no, if you want to come at me than you better bring you're entire army with you. I'm taking you all down at once."

Dorumon said, "Very well...Charge"

Scourge pointed one finger up creating a small energy that tipped his glove.

Dorumon laughed, "Ha is that all you're going to do. That little blast will even scratch my army."

Scourge shot it out. The blast expanded the force wiping out a large number of the army. As soon as he finished Gatomon and her sister came down and did quick ninja like strikes swiping in and out and weaving and clawing at the enemies. Gatomon came face to face with Patamon.

Patamon said, "We don't have to fight. We can share our love and take out the real threat and have this all be over."

Gatomon said, "Remember when I said when day that I'd be the hero. Well today is the day and if you are going to get in my way I won't stop until your dead. Reemon is the one that needs to die. He's brought you to an evil darkness that not even I have ever entered. You've become corrupted from making love to him."

Patamon said, "He knows how to share his feelings. He does go running off like how you always do."

Gatomon said, "You bashing at me for running off. Why don't you look in the mirror? You left our son and our daughter. You are always running. It's time to realize what you've become and wake up."

Patamon said, "I've become free."

Gatomon said, "If that is how you feel than I have no choice but to send you to hell."

Gatomon extended her claw piercing right into Patamon.

Patamon fell to his knees, "You really did it. But I loved you."

Gatomon said, "You loved the darkness. And now one day you might return reborn and fixed."

Reemon was about to take his powers but Gatomon didn't allow it. Dorumon was left alone with Scourge.

Reemon slithered around Gatomon rushing to Veemon. Veemon got ready but it was Gatomon that also cut down Reemon. Dorumon said, "You won this round but next time I'll be more prepared."

Scourge said, "You're not going anywhere."

Scourge used his speed to knee Dorumon right in the face then come around and snap his neck. The final threat was final eliminated. A short time had passed before they made the decision to make Scourge the president of the western states. He married Blackgatomon shortly after. Veemon continued to get his pounding from Impmon who was more than obligated to do so. Gatomon was a free agent and a hero of the world. She would wait for Patamon to be reborn into this world without the evil that took over. Agumon, Gaomon, Renamon, Flamedramon and Guilmon were the first to return back to this world shortly after came the others that were lost to the power of Reemon.

Epilogue

Impmon eventually just married Veemon. The city was in good shape with Scourge running it his way and his first lady and son joined him and their new office. All the tiny threads seemed to be disconnected. Over the eastern side was Angel who had traveled there some time ago to avoid all contact with most others. Angel went over and she picked up a phone.

Angel said, "Everything worked according to the plan sir. They took out Dorumon for us just as you planned sir. The Reemon project has finally been wiped out. This will make room for our new little project. Yes sir all the couples are aligned as you predicted that they would. Yes sir, I will join you shortly sir. Don't forget, I love you..."
