Velo and Friends Velo 2: Beach Mission

I steped out of the car onto the sand and waved the driver away. It had been way too long since I had last felt the sand upon my feet. I looked around for any sign of civilisation, even though I was told it was deserted, then took off my shirt and layed down on my back on the warm golden sand.

I layed there for a moment before I sat up and squinted my eyes from the bright sun. I looked aroung for my shirt, grabed it, and put it back on after standing up. It had been a long time since I'd seen enough sunlight that actually warmed me up. I grabed my laptop and proceded along the beach enjoying the sand upon the pads of my feet.

I wandered a good distance around the beach with no success of finding the boat so I morphed into an oversized house cat. Holding the laptop with my left arm I ran down the beach on my three legs searching for the boat. After running what was probably half way afound the island I spoted the boat. After morphing back into an anthro still carrying my laptop I leaped up into the boat. I looked at my watch which of course no longer displayed a time since there wasn't a nearby power orb. I sat down in the driver seat of the boat and placed my hand upon the screen and pulled it back when it started, taking off into the middle of nowhere. I looked around for shelter from the blazing sun, but all I could find was a tarpaulin in the back.

"Bastards! Cheap fucking bastards! Can't even aford proper sun protection."

As much as I enjoy the pleasure that the sun provides, my body isn't used to it and I burn easily. I don't really have much need for a tan, but the tans I do get are insant tans. I grabed the tarp and hung my head out the edge of the boat watching the blue-green waves run from the boat. A time or two I saw a fish junp in the water, but that was pretty much it. I sat there for several minutes then reached my hand out the boat and touched the water. When it contacted the liquid it startled me and I jerked my hand back. I thought about it for a second and enjoyed the cool water on my fingers. I smiled and put my fingers back in the water still being cautious. My fingers skimed the surface of the water as I delighted in the flow.

I was still covered up in the tarp and had lost track of time playing with the water when I saw aproaching land. The ride seemed much shorter than it could have been so I didn't complain given my current situation. When the boat finally slowed to a stop and killed it's motor I looked around for any signs of civilisation. I couldn't see any. It had started to get a little dark so if there was going to be any one here they probably wouldn't show up till tomorrow's sunrise.

I pulled off my shirt and allowed my jeans to slip down after unbuckling the belt and jumped as deep into the water as I could after taking off my panties and throwing them on the small pile of clothes near the back edge of the boat. I was planning on going swimming on my vacation time before it was so rudly interupted anyway. It was almost worth it actually being able to experience it first hand rather than a simulation. I strugled a bit to swim at first trying to swim while my body adjusted to the cold of the water and the difference from the simulation. I swam deep underneath the boat and back up again for a breath of air. Diving again I thought to myself that there was no way anything could simulate this feeling.

I swam clear to the bottom and rubbed the slick mosy rocks with my paws. After swimming around in circles a bit, playing with the corals by making waves, I headed back up to the shore. As I headed up I could see the boat off to the right, but right infront of me was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen....It was the full moon. The moon shone brightly and lit up the entire underwater bay with a soft blue glow. It danced with the waves of the water and greeted me as I broke the surface. It was huge, bigger than I had imagined when I was a little child.

After gazeing at the moon for several seconds I looked around and relocated my boat. I jumped on and threw my clothes on the tarp and wraped it up. I reentered the water and lowered the tarp onto the water making sure not to get any of my clothes in the tarp wet. I swam to the shore, taking the tarp next to me. I walked up onto the beach with the tarp and once again delighted in the sand between my feline toes.

I opened up the tarp putting on my clothes and sat down on the tarp with my feet hanging over onto the sand. I layed down on the tarp and went to sleep for a good while before I was awoken by the sound of children playing in the water. I sat up and watched the children play in the water. There were two little boys and a little girl. One boy was maybe a year older than the other two who were about the same age. They chased each other around for a bit before the younger boy sat down and started digging in the sand with a bucket and spade.

I got up leaving the tarp and the boat where they were and carried the laptop under my arm. When I had finally gotten to the beach where the childern were I saw several older people and many other children playing. I didn't see a single fur in sight and many of the people were staring at me. When I got to the end of the beach I realised that I had no idea where I was going. It wasn't too long before I saw an old fashioned fuel pump station. When I entered a bell on the door rang allerting the desk keeper of my presence. When he got a glimpse of me his eyes shot open and he straightned his back. I saw a rack carrying several folded paper maps. After brousing one of them I asked the desk keeper what map could help me locate the nearest photo developing center.

"I. Uhm. ... Err. That one!" His hand shot up from the desk and pointed at a red blue and red map. I could see that he was shakeing something aweful.

"How much do I owe you?" I asked. He stood there shakeing for a bit and quickly answered "No charge uhhh mam." I shruged my shoulders and steped outside of the glass door and opened the map. I quickly searched the map for the photo developer and had gotten about half way down the map before I heard a small pop and the glass door behind me shattered showering me with glass. I quickly ducked and hid behind the brick wall around the corner dropping my laptop infront of the door.

I stood there gasping for breath to get a grasp of what had just happened. I poked my head back around the corner and got a glimpse of the desk keeper holding a small 22 hand gun before the window shattered. I shook off the glass from my nose and face and drew my desert eagle and my fully automatic P-90. These were old, but powerful guuns and I'm glad I chose them now since any of my other guns wouldn't work here without a power signal. I looked the two guns up and down real quick before resheathing the desert eagle and holding the handle of the P-90 in both my hands. I jumped out and fired at the desk keeper. He ducked behind the desk and I did the same behind the wall. I took a quick breath and jumped out firing again as I did a side flip putting my arm on the groung gramming the laptop and continued flipping to the brick wall on the other side some how managing to spare a full sheet of glass on the left side of the door.

Now that I had my laptop I took off morphing into a nonanthro carrying the laptop in my left arm and running with the P-90 in my right hand. I could hear many sirens in the distance. More than what I thought there should be for a pump shoot up. I continued running as I heard sirens from all over. Suddenly a craft shot out of an inter section just as I got to it. It stoped right infront of me. There was a pilot and two gunners. One was focused right on me with a sniper rifle, the other with some hand gun. Out of instinct I jumped up, extending my legs to anthro legs as I jumped, to provide more push. I then realised the masive spinning blades above it. I threw my P-90 through the two open side doors of the helecopter and pulled out my desert eagle and fired at the center of the blades before I even knew I was doing it. Unfortunatally it didn't stop the rotating blades. I continued to fly upward towards the spinning blades. In a desperate atempt I threw my laptop at the spinning razors, but hadn't managed to let go of the laptop before it connected with the blades. The rotors sentthe shattered laptop and myself into a wall and onto a trash pile. I shook myself awake just in time to see the pilot losing control from the gunshot at the blades. He quick pulled the stick towards him, sending the craft upwards and back. He then over corrected and the craft went foward for anout thirty feet before the nose of it crashed into the asphault, fliping the craft onto its back as it exploded, sending a couple of shattered pieces of the rotor blades and street debris flying back across the intersection. I looked at my smashed laptop and grabed it along with my Desert Eagle and my P-90 from the street before continuing down along it.

I could see some lights aproaching from behind me so I picked up the pace. I then saw a moving baracade of police cars that were door to door coming straight towards me. I fired at one of their tires forcing it to side swipe the car next to it. As they jerked their wheels from each other they created an opening for me, exposing another row. I charged at the charging row and jumped onto the hood of one of them and extended my legs again to get enough height to lump over a small building. When I landed I slammed my left elbow on the roof. I winced as I felt a sharp pain shoot up my my arm that was carrying the laptop to my neck. I quickly searched out for a vehicle, finding a truck heading in my direction I jumped into its open container feeling the same pain my arm as I landed in the hay filled silo.

I dropped the two guns and the mutilated laptop on top of the guns as I held back a scream from the pain. As I examined my arm I felt for the pain. I got half way up my nonanthro upper arm before I felt the same sting once again. I moved my elbow out useing my right hand. My arm was broken. I closed my eyes as a trear driped from my eye from the pain. I took a deep breath and layed down in the hay useing the hay to painfully suport my arm.
