Going back a bit to the day before, in class...

"Listen, I heard that something happened at your house last Monday" he whispered.

I nodded again, "My house was broken into and a chest stolen"

"A chest?" Jakk's gold eyes shone, "What was in it?"

"Dunno" I shrugged, "Never could open it, lost the key.. Shit, now I'm gonna be sticky all day.."

"Check this out" came a voice from across the room. Usually this wouldn't catch my attention, but what he said piqued my intrest.

"Lizard Twins Find chest in Local Park"

I tiried to contain myself , but Jakk spoke my thoughts.

"Doesn't that sound like what you're after?"

"The Lizards don't just 'find' things" I growled

The Lizard Twins were, as suggested, lizard brothers that lived together for most of their lives. They stole what they could get away with then marketed it online. I'd have no chance getting it back either.. No-one who's ever gone in there has returned with what they came for.

I caught his hint and shook my head, "No, we can't"

His grin didn't fade as he nodded, "We're going"

Now I'm not the sort of guy that argues much, I like keeping the peace, so when Jakk says we're doing something, it usually ends up with us doing it...

"Fine" I sighed, "But when we get in trouble, YOU take the blame"

"Yeh, Whatever.." he brushed it off and I sighed as the final bell rang releasing me from school.

The next four hours I spent searching for the key to the missing chest, because, if I got it, I didn't want to have to break into it..

There was a creaking from downstairs, making me freeze.. It was exactly like when the last thief came..

I crept down, seeing a suspicious character, dressed in black, creeping..

"HAHA! GOTCHA!" I shouted

"Oi! Felix! Get off me!"

"Jakk?" I blinked, getting up, "What ARE you wearing??"

"Well, if you don't wanna be recognised..."

He shrugged, "Your loss, not my fault if they recognise you"

I pulled him towards the door, "Let's just get it before I lose my nerve"

It was only a short walk to the Lizard Estate, but it was already dark and, in just a t-shirt and jeans, I was shivering beyond all hell..

"There it is" Jakk hissed and I looked up, seeing only a single light on in the two story building, up the top..

The building was night-black surrounded with a nine foot fence surrounding the premises, tipped with barbed wire.

"No problem" he hissed and beat his wings lifting him up and over the fence, "C'mon ya scaredy lizard"

"Alright, I'm coming, keep ya pants on.." I growled, and leapt up.. soaring over the fence

"FELIX! WATCH OUT FOR.." that's as far as he got before I slammed into a large black object, an oversized clothesline, I realised..

No way that was possible! I told myself, as I lay, tangled between the lines

"What wasss that..?" came a hiss

"It seemsss we have visitorsss.."came a second..

I froze as I realised I couldn't get out AND both the twins had realised I was there, and.. helpless..

"A tresssspasser.." the other hissed, so close I felt it on the back of my neck..

Shivering, I turn to see.. nothing..

I whimper and turn back, stiffling a scream as two pairs red eyes peered out at me, followed by two scaled muzzles.. veiled by the dark..

"Sorry Felix, I'm outta here" I heard Jakk yell

There was a frantic flapping and I realised Jakk had fled..

"BASTARD!" I yelled after him as the two reptillian figures closed in, "I'M GONNA F.."

I was cut off promply as something crashed into my head and I sank into unconciousness.......

I yawned and went to rub my eyes..

Frowning, I looked up and then, realising I couldn't move my hands, did the first thing anyone that can't move does... I panicked..

Metal rings lashed my hands above my head and my ankles to the floor, a metre apart.. why? I don't even want to imagine..

Breaking into the Lizard Estate..
