Immortal Chapter 6: Nameless

After a few days of recuperation young Katashi holds out his hand as he lies in bed. Forcing all his energy into his palm, he grunted softly. A spark lets out of his palm and quickly dies as he laid back with a sigh. "How did I do that," He breathed deeply. He remember running at Andreas with his full might. Then suddenly he had a sword. Like his body knew what he wanted to win and gave him the tool to do so.

Again, he tried to summon the sword only to have the spark let out a soft pop. He was wearing himself out trying to force its creation. "If your trying to touch the ceiling you'll never do it like that," Sayomi smirked from the doorway. "Oh, Sayomi? What are you doing here?" He asked. Sayomi helped him out of bed. He handed him a white shirt, dress pants, and nice shoes. Katashi raised an eyebrow at the cloths.

"Ligeron took you into his care, you're officially part of Sector 1," Sayomi explained. "So how did you get my sizes?" Katashi peeked up at him." "Well these aren't one size fits all, it was hard getting measurements with you layin down," He laughed. Katashi's face went bright red knowing that this boy had seen his exposed body. Sayomi stepped out with a goofy smirk letting Katashi dress. Standing up Katashi lifted up the shirt and buttoned it. A small patch on the shoulder. It a symbol of a lions paw surrounded by angelic wings. He shrugged it off and finished dressing stepping outside. "Well now don't you clean up nice," Sayomi looked at him.

He blushed and suddenly a boy stepped in through the main entrance. Bowing softly he wore the same color shirt as Katashi. "My name is Sora, Corporal of Sector 1. Commander Ligeron has ordered me to escort you to the temple," He spoke. The pink hair draped down to his shoulders. It messed for the most part leaving his face exposed. Katashi looked at Sayomi a little unsure. "Go on kid don't leave the big house cat waiten," Sayomi walked past Sora and out of sight. Bowing softly Katashi followed the pink haired man.

After reaching the temple Katashi huffed and puffed after the thousands of steps. "Haven't you all heard of elevators?" He leaned over his hands on his knees. "Are all living mortals as whiney as you are?" Sora smiled and opened the great door leading him inside. Walking down the halls, he looked at all the great statues. He soon noticed a familiar brown jackal walking towards them. "Hey Anubis right?" He waved.

"Yes child?" He stopped looking at them. Sora kneeled before him and Katashi stood. "I never got to thank you for not getting me banished to hell," He smiled and Sora looked up at him. "You fool he is the most powerful immortal judge, show some respect!" Sora yelled at him and Anubis chuckled in his throat. "Your welcome child, I believe you're wanted in the main meeting chamber," Anubis continued on his way. Katashi smirked and Sora smacked the back of his head. "What the hell was that for!" He snapped holding his head. "Don't ever embarrass me like that again," He scoffed and the continued on.

Soon they came to the great doors of the meeting hall. Pushing them open, Katashi stepped into the circle. All the commanders sitting at their balconies looked him over. "Um...is there a reason I'm here?" He asked gulping. He could sense the power in the room alone was greater than anything on halo.

"Yes Katashi, The reason you're here is because you are to start training," Ligeron smiled. "But you can't train with any specific team due to your special circumstances," Titan rumbled the walls. "So who's going to train me then?" He questioned. "All of us are," Artemis sat forward in her chair. "If you pass, we will allow you back to earth without questions, then you may move between worlds when called upon," Cerce's eyes gleamed behind his mask. "Summon your weapon child," Terra spoke gently. Holding out his hand Katashi took in a deep breath. Trying to move his energy to his hands his hands shook. A few small sparks let out. He began to swear as a few more sparks let out his face turning red. "Come on...come on," He begged his body. Suddenly he let out a gasp and feels to his knee exhausted. Breathing heavily he could hear all the people whispering around him. "I guess we'll have to teach you that as well," Ligeron smiled and looked at his aquatic brother. Ligeron looked at Neptune who stood and jumped down next to the boy. "Come boy let us begin," He lead the boy out of the room.

Katashi followed and looked down the steps sighing. He hated having to walk all the way down them but Neptune had another idea. He led him to a large pipe leading from the temple down under the floating rings. "Come on boy," He pushed him into the pipe opening suddenly. Katashi let out a loud yell as the water pushed him. The dark twists and turns soon lit up as the ending came into sight. Katashi yelled as he exited falling into a large pool of a fountain. He was suddenly surrounded by water and his lungs begged for air. Surfacing from the fountain he let out a loud gasp. "That son of a bitch pushed me," Katashi pulled himself from the fountain. "Where is he?" He looked up. Out of nowhere, a small boy sat in front of him. He let out a loud gasp and pulled away suddenly falling back into the water. "Wow your silly," The boy smiled and looked up. His master forming up from the water. The great shark stepping up onto the waters surface walking atop it. Katashi surfaced again and let out a loud again. "You little brat!" He yelled and Neptune held out his hand. Katashi grabbed it and lifted himself up out of the water.

The small green haired boy jumped up sitting on Neptune's shoulder. "I'm going to teach you how to control your power child," Neptune's tail swished softly. Katashi looked up the fountain at the foot of the great courtyard. "What do you mean?" He spoke softly. "Watch," he lifted his arm softly. "By thundering of waves and turning of tides crash! Nami Matsuta!" He roared spinning his wrist. Suddenly a long trail of water spilled form his wrist. Spinning faster it suddenly went rigged and a great white trident formed in his palm.

"This is called a Yoso, A blade or weapon formed of the very energy that runs through your body," Neptune raised it under his chin. The point just inches from his throat, even a swallow would cause it to be pierced. "You can only summon it by giving it an order or calling its name," He explained. "But by doing both you bind it in its primary form which is what you see," He pulled it back and twirled it slowly over his head. He continued to explain that the weapon was a perfect incarnation of all the power its owner possessed. The Yoso also cannot be forcefully summoned. The Yoso must feel its master is in need of aid. Like pets they can be tamed slightly but still have an animalistic nature. They can disobey their masters and not come forth or disown their masters.

"So every time I tried to summon it that's why it wouldn't appear?" He looked at his hand. "Yes you must name it then ask for its aid," He nodded. "But you must also be very careful, the weapons feral form is called a Yansei no Yoso, it is the true form taken life and its power is double your own. In this state the Yoso may destroy its owner," Neptune spun his trident at his side using one hand.

Katashi sat down holding out his hand again and closing his eyes. "Let's see wonder what kind of name I should I give you?" he asked and breathed out slowly. In his mind, he could see the sword. The blade four feet long glimmering with bright white light. A single long strand of energy wrapping up around it. The hilt being an intense black with a guard shaped like an angels and demons wing. He growled and sighed not having any idea of what to call his sword. "Katashi..." Neptune spoke making him open his eyes. In his hand sat his sword brightly shinning.

"You can't be...you didn't do anything," Neptune narrowed his eyes. Katashi gasped and the blade vanished suddenly. "How did I..." He looked at his empty palm. "You gave way to reason, your instinct took over," Neptune turned and walked away. "What do you...?" He spoke and Neptune looked at him. "To summon your sword you must let your instinct take over, that's how you summon your Yoso. I've seen this one other time...a man with a nameless Yoso," Neptune looked at the small boy on his shoulder. The boy nodded and kicked off his shoulder running off. Neptune escorted Katashi deep into the Support sectors barracks stopping at a large fountain. He peered down into the pool as his tail swished. He went onto explain the last man who had a nameless Yoso was called Jonathan A. Churchmill. The man who was so proudly able to do this skill. He Is now the head General of all the Hunters. Katashi gasped and looked at Neptune who held his hand over the pool. "It happened a long time ago," He sighed.

Suddenly the pool showed a man with pure silver hair holding a great powerful broad sword. It extremely powerful and glowing black unlike Katashi's. Suddenly it changed to the man attacking Halo. The great city in flames and Andreas stood over the man much younger. "Jonathan! Look what you've done Halo is burning because of you!" Andreas yelled to the man. "Scream Shishinote!" He roared and suddenly a great shield appeared on his arm. A central circle with four massive scythe blades turned sideways out in an "X". Green glass like energy cracked towards the center of the shield. "My shield will stop your every attack!" He screamed and the man ran forward with blade meeting metal. Each of them pushed back from this a black chain marking appearing on Jonathans arm.

"You were supposed to destroy the hunters, to protect us all!" He continued and swiped his shield slamming into the man knocking him away. Another black marking appearing on his leg. Their onslaughts continued slamming into each other and by the end of it both were unhurt. Jonathan's entire body covered in the black chains. Suddenly Andreas stood down and looked at him. "You were my friend, and the next time I see you I will tear you apart," He turned with his eternally dark gaze. "Scream Shishinote," He whispered and a fang-toothed mouth in the center of his shield opened. Jonathan glanced at his body before the wails and screams of billions of people let out. Every soul in hell slamming into him at once, all their pain and torture filling the chains. "Andreas..." The boy spoke before the chains ignited and bound him back to the mortal plane. Never able to return to the underworld. Doomed to live forever and watch everything he could ever love die.

Neptune removed his hand and watched Katashi's expression. "Ever since that day Andreas was as dark and cold as he is today," He spoke. Katashi understood how cold he was to him. Why he fought against him and why he wants to fight him. Katashi stood and walked thirty steps away before turning. He held his hands forward and dropped his reason letting his sword suddenly form before him. "Train me...If Andreas kills me, I can never stop the hunters, and if I can't stop them I will be banished to a worse fate than death," He spoke. Neptune smirked and raised his trident kicking off the ground. Suddenly their blades met.

Meanwhile Andreas appeared on a great frozen lake. The cold air hastened by the soft whimpers of the damned. Men frozen in the ice surrounding. "In this pit I am lord, In a world of punishment I must be the one constantly being punished..." He spoke A chain larger than any skyscraper hanging to it from an endless sky. "Soon...if I have to use you I will," He narrowed his eyes.
