#1 of Moutain Trip

There I was, looking up the large mountain my class and I were going on a trip to. The bus ride was just about over, though I couldn't complain about it. Those grey hound buses were very nice, and I was sitting next to the guy I had been in love with for years, a nice grey husky, his name Koda. He, nor anyone, had any idea I was gay. But the class had rented the two summit cabins, one held ten people the other only four. Our class had twelve people going and my secret love and I were the two with the highest grades in the class, mainly because he cheated off me half the time, so we got the cabin to ourselves.

Five days, during the day we would be out exploring the wilderness around and on the mountain, at night we had an amazingly breath taking view of the stars and the arm of the Milky Way Galaxy. And at night I would have him all to myself, just us two till morning. My daydreams had started to turn dirty as we got closer to the mountain, and I had to cover my lap with my jacket to hide myself. It was hard to hide though, a large dragon like myself. But finally the bus stopped, and the doors opened. I turned to say something to Koda, but he was still asleep, his resting on his shoulder. I shook him gently.

"Huh?" He stammered, his green eyes opening.

"Wake up sleepy head, we're here," I said pointing to the mountain.

"Oh, wow feels like I just fell asleep," He said.

"Just get up silly," I said with a smile, pushing his shoulder some

"Yeah, yeah," He said standing, his back popping quietly from not moving the whole ride.

I stood next to him and slipped my jacket on, I hardly needed one but It was supposed to be really cold here, it being winter and all. He slipped on his light hoodie and followed the rest of the kids off of the bus. I followed behind him, my tail swaying some behind me. I'm glad no one was on the bus behind me, not much makes my tail wag and everyone knew it.

"Ok kids, I'll go get the keys and we can start the hike to the top," Mr. Savage, a red fox, said.

"I bet I can beat you all up there," I said with a grin.

"Of course you can John, you have wings," Blake, a black wolf, said.

"You just wish you had wings like me," I said and spread open my wings, almost hitting Sam with them.

"Whoa!" Koda said taking a step back, "John, watch it."

"Oops, sorry Koda," I said folding my wings back up, a small blush on my face.

"Get a room you two," Jake, a bulldog, said, "Oh wait, you have a whole cabin,"

Jake was our classes bully, he normally didn't pick on the class but being forced to come here he had no one else to pick on. I let out a small growl from my throat looking at him. He grinned and clenched his hands into fists.

"Cool it, both of you," Koda said tugging at my arm.

"Sorry," I said, my ears dropping.

"Yeah, better listen to your boyfriend," Jake said.

"Hey, douche, shut up before I make you," Kato said, "Come on John."

I followed him over to the building Mr. Savage had went in. We stood next to it away from the rest of the people, Jake moved on to some other kid in the class. I was still breathing kind of heavily the way I did when I got bad.

"Calm down, don't need you killing anyone," Koda said with a laugh.

"Huh? Oh, right," I said with a blush.

"You think you can go five days without killing him?" he asked.

"Y-yeah," I said looking up at the mountain, "So do you know whats the plan for today?"

"A three hour hike, lunch, a five hour hike, with rests of course, and then relaxing in the cabins until the first journey into the wilderness tomorrow," Mr. Savage said walking out of the building.

"What a eight hour hike isn't enough?" Koda said with a chuckle.

"Nope, not for you Koda, you need more time outside," Mr. Savage said, "You too John, now lets get going,"

We followed him back over to the rest of the class, they were all standing around in small groups, a few friends in each, and then there was Jake was seemed to have been going from one to the other.

"Ok Class, who's ready to go?" Savage asked, a few of the furs mumbled a little but most said nothing, "Fine, come on, grab your packs and lets head up."

I picked up my bag, and Koda's bag. I walked back over to him and handed it to him. We started the hike. About an hour in a couple of the girls started to complain about being tired, so we took a rest at a small clearing next to a creek. Koda and I stepped through some brush away from the rest of the class but still in ears reach, and stood next to the creek, watching the water run through it.

"I already love it up here," I said watching the water.

"Yeah, me too, it looks great," Koda said, I turned my head to look at him, and I couldn't tell but it looked like he had just moved his head from looking at me, seemed like a small blush had gone over his cheeks.

"It'll be even better tonight," I said with a smile.

"Yeah, I bet it will," Koda said and looked over at me returning the smile, I loved his smile.

I looked back into the stream and watched the water run more. Koda crouched down and dipped his paw into the water, and it shot right back out.

"Holy crap that's cold!" He almost yelled.

"What would you expect?" I asked with a giggle, "it's winter."

"Right," Kota said shaking his paw, "now it's all cold."

"You learned something didn't you?" I said coving my mouth to hide another giggle.

"You know what," Koda said and slapped his paw across the water, splashing some onto me.

"Eep!" I jumped back and fell onto the ground as the water splashed over my scales.

"And now you learned something," Koda said with a big goofy grin.

"I'll get you for that," I said getting up slowly.

"You'll have to wait till later, Savage just called," Koda said with a wink and ran off back towards the class.

I got up and followed him back. For the next several hours we walked and talked up the mountain, we finally got to the first cabin. It was pretty large, five rooms each with a bunk bed and its own changing room. A large living room and kitchen as well. We took the tour along with the rest of the class, everyone getting a bunk as designated by Savage. Then after that Savage pulled Koda and I outside.

"Ok, your cabin is another hour hike along the trail; food has already been placed up there so fix yourselves something when you get there. There's only one bed so I'll let you two fight over it. Now we are not going out again tonight so you don't have to come back down here, but be here at noon tomorrow, that's when we are heading out," Savage told us.

"Yes sir, will gladly do," I said with a big smile.

"Have fun you two," Savage said and went back into the cabin.

"Lets go," I said looking at Koda

"You seem happy," He said smiling.

"Well I get to spend the night on the most amazing place in the world with my favorite person in the world," I said smiling back.

A small blush spread across his face and we began to walk. The mountain trail got steeper and steeper. After thirty minutes we were both already out of breath and sitting down. But we already had a great view, we were sitting on a rock that hung over the edge of a large cliff overlooking a snow covered valley.

"Wow, I hope the view at the cabin is as good as this," I said looking around.

"I bet it will be better," Koda said and patted me on the shoulder a couple of times.

I smiled at him, and we watched the valley for a while, then moved on. Another twenty minutes and we were there, it was a small cabin, three rooms. A bed room kitchen slash living room, and a bathroom. I also discovered it had a balcony, it hung out over the same valley as where Kato and I had stopped. The sun was setting slowly and the sky was turning a brilliant shade of red, not much longer and the stars would be out.

"Koda, you're going to miss everything," I called back into the cabin.

"Come back in here, it wont get dark for another ten or twenty minutes," Koda said.

"Fine," I said and walked back inside, Koda was sitting on the back of the couch.

"So, who gets what?" He asked looking at me.

"Uh, I don't care, which would you like?" I asked.

"Hm, you know what, I'll take the couch, you can have the bed," He said.

"You sure?"

"Yeah, the bed is too hard for me anyways, go and see for yourself," He said smiling as he fell over onto the couch and laid out. "I'll be here,"

"Fine," I said and walked into the bedroom

It was small, but not too small, a nice queen sized beg was snug in the middle of the room. Nothing but gas lamps, no electric lights. All natural, just like Savage had told us. I walked around and laid down on the bed, I heard Koda moving around some, then saw him at the door way.

"See way too hard for me," He said with a grin.

"Its not hard at all," I said looking at him.

"Maybe, but I want you to have it," He said, "You rest for a bit I'll get a fire going to get it warm in here."

"Ok...t-thanks," I said smiling.

He walked out of the room, I curled up on the bed. I thought about him, walking back into the room, lying next to me, and wrapping me up in his arms. I let out a small sigh and closed my eyes, and slowly fell asleep.
