Man its 7:30 pm and were still here chatting we all laugh talking about jakes path after school and Tyler got excited when he heard about Leonard being his boyfriend he was so excited for it and I didn't know what to do I just sat there smiling looking at Jacob and he smiled back at me then we both kissed. Then I heard the phone rang. RING RING RING RING. "I'll get it" I said getting up and walking to the back door and open it. Walking to the kitchen and there were 3 phones in the house one in the kitchen one in the living room and one in me and Jacobs room. I grabbed the one in the kitchen. "Hello"
"Hello is Jake there?"
"May I ask who am I speaking to?"
"This is Maria Macintyre.......Jakes mother." I was shocked to hear that but then remembered what she did to him so I squeezed the phone and told here straight out. "What do you want? You not going to talk to Jake and he's not going to want to talk to you after what you and you fucking husband did to your son." Then I heard crying, and then she spoke. " I knew it I thought he wouldn't guess I do deserve this but I want to say to I'm sorry I wasn't me when that happen..." interrupted " What do you mean hold on I'm going to talk to yah in my phone in my bedroom." I hurried to my room and looked out the window and they were still out talking. I grabbed the phone and spoke "I'm back what do you mean you weren't you when it happen." "When Jake used to live with us I was a not just an alcoholic I was also I druggie I smoked dope I was on so many drugs Hennery my husband got them for me and I only got them only he can do whatever he wanted with Jake I didn't know what he was really doing till I finally got cured form my drug use and I wanted to tell Jake ..." she started to cry "I'm sorry I'm so ..So....so sorry I love him with all my heart ...Sniff "so she really cares for him after all I had an idea in my head so I calmed her down. "Hey calm down me not going to let you talk him but I have an idea..."
Jake 10 am
Sound asleep the best one ever especially dreaming about Leonard. But then I was being shook to wake up then I heard Tyler's voice "Hey wake up sleepy head you have a game at noon it's 10 am get your lazy ass up and you have a visitor here." He shut the door allowing me to get dress. I put my soccer uniform which it a white t-shirt with a red number my number was 21 so were my shorts white with the number 21 on the side I put on my white soccer socks and went down stairs to be hugged by my tiger. "Hey Jake missed me?" I gave a small kiss on the cheek "of course I did why would I"
"Just making sure and you never told me you had a brother?!" he said giggling.
"We only started dating for like what a few days and you expect me to tell you everyone in my family?" I said teasing him. Then Louis and Jacob came to the living room Louis in his officer uniform and Jacob in his white plain t-shirt and plaid jeans giving me a morning hug. "Morning pup."
"Morning daddy. Dad where are you going?" I asked a little sad as I know exactly where he was going. "I got to cover someone's shift today I'm not sure if I can make it sweetheart I'm really sorry I got to go love you all." He came up to me and gave me a tight hug and he went out the door and he was gone I started to swell up tears in my eyes Jacob came to me and explained to me. "Jake I can't explain how badly he wanted to go to your game this morning he started to cry like what your about to do cause he had to go cover someone's shift but he loves you very much and he really wanted to come to your final game today. We know we were supposed to be there for you graduation thing but at least you still have me and Tyler and George to join you" he gave comforting lick on the ear like he did at the hospital. "Now let us get going to your game and get a good parking spot." With that we all got in two cars Jacob's car and Tyler's, George rode with Tyler while Leo and I rode with Jacob and they drove off.
The ride there was short and my other teammates were already there dressed and ready. Brandon came up to Leo and asked "So did it work?" Leo gave him wink and wrapped his arm around me. Then the whole team cheered apparently they all new about us and was shocked. Then the speakers spoke, "Good morning New York it is now 11:45 the game will start in 15 minutes all player head toward your coaches and sign in." after the speakers came I saw a police car parking next to Jacobs car I was able to see through the window and I saw a black feline which I knew right then it was Louis. I smile so happily but the got scared, not just Louis got out of the car but Louis opened the back door to let my mother in some decant pair of jeans and a black shirt to wear but in hand cuff Tyler did his big brother instincts and came in front of me and George joined in. my mom was whispering to Louis ears about something I do not know but she looked a lot different from the last time I seen her she looks more clean. But he came up to me but Louis came to Tyler and George. "Easy you guys she not going to hurt him but she would like to talk to Jake." They eased off and allowed my mom to see me once she saw me she teared up and started to speak. "omg...look how handsome you are. All grown up and graduating I know I have done things to you that scared you for life but I haven't been truthful to you..." interrupted by me. "When were you?" then she spoke again, " I was not just drinking baby I was a drug attic I was so high that night that I didn't realize what was going on till I finally stop and now I want to change I want you to be happy for the rest of your life and sweetheart I don't care if your gay I love you and if don't love me I understand but what I mainly here is to tell you that......I'm......I'm sorry." She tears up again and I did too my mom really does care for me I came up to her and hugged her very tightly and started to repeat myself. "I forgive you mom I love you!!" Tyler beginning to cry and so did everyone else. even the team began to swell up tears which was embarrassing. Then the speaker came. The game will start in a few minute all player line up at the side lines." I went to the side lines and saw my mom was also going to see my game she sat with Louis Jacob right next then Tyler sat next to mom and she was also talking to him which lead to him crying and hugging here like I did and George sitting next to Tyler. Then the Speaker spoke. "good after noon New York today is last game of soccer for the season. today we have Fort Osage Indians" then a whole crowd started to cheer, "Vs. Park Hill South Panthers" there was also a crowd of cheer but not as big as ours. " let the game begin!" everyone headed toward their positions and so did it we started off with the ball and Leo and I were the two forwards then one of their best players a white cheetah was also a forward but yelled at me. "Yo!!! FAG!! YOUR ASS IS MINE!!" I ignored him as I usually do in games and the whistle blow and the game began.
It was half time and boy it was a rough the first halve it was 8-8 the score was tied our defenders were running out of breath trying to catch up with the white cheetah. But one thing I love about this team was not there strengths but their ability to not give up. The coaches told the seniors to gather there guardians and line up. I went to my mom and asked her but then she told me. " I'm not your guardian anymore your dads are go walk with them and Jake I'm very proud of you." I was smiling to hear that and I grabbed Jacob and Louis to the side lines and the other seniors lined up too there was only three of us that were seniors which was Leo, Brandon and me then the speaker spoke. "Hello Fort Osage you know what time it is to congrats our seniors and this year we have three the first one up is Brandon Johnston he is 18 years with his mother and father and after High School he plans to go to college to be a computer technician everyone give a hand to Brandon." Everyone clapped as Brandon walking across the field and one of the cheerleaders gave him a few roses. "Next one up is Leonard Simons he is 18 years old and with him are his mother and father after high school he plans to go to Kansas university and become a landscaper. Everyone give Leonard a hand." Everyone clapped for him especially the girls and Leo got twice as much of roses from the girls. "Last but not least is Jake Macintyre he is 17 years old with him are his two fathers after high school he plans to go to college and become a professional soccer player everyone give Jake a hand." Once that was over I lock my arm around my dads and we started to walk we walked slowly but the crowd went wild the cheers were twice as loud than Leos and the three girls each holding a dozen of roses handing them to me. I tear up again then my dads hugged me in front of the crowd which they were still cheering on then it was time to finish the second halve of the gave I gave the roses to my dads than they sat down back to their seats. And the game began.
There 3 minutes to the game and once again it was tied with 9-9 Leo was on the left side of the field and I was in the middle Leo had the ball passing through many furs till he found an opening for him to pass the ball to me. He did and it was all up to me to make the winning shot I started to dribble my way through the defenders and I was able to make the shot. I ran as fast as I could then I was open the only one between me and the goal was the goalie I ran and ran but then the white cheetah stood his foot out and stopped the ball but then tripped me letting me fall and land wrong on my ankle the white cheetah ran all the way across the field and shot the goal and won the game all of his team mates ran to him cheering him on while my teammates didn't care about the game they came to me and help me walk off the field. I put pressure on it and yelled in pain Louis and Jacob came to me followed by my mom and the rest of the group the school nurse came up to with crouches so I can walk on my own she told me to stay off of it for a while so it will heal right. Half way across the field a group of men came up to me shaking my hand they began to speak all at once. "het Missouri University can really use someone with your talent."
"blue Hills College is the best college in new York."
"what we are all trying to say to you is we would like to allow you to become pro. You have a great gift boy and for me I don't want to waste that gift I'm from the Kansas University and I would like for you to come join us and allow us to let you become pro." Then everyone of those me started to give my dads there business cards to contact them. I could believe this my whole life was turning right side up and now I have a future I can work up to.
