The Last Human Part 23
The humans gathered around at a building as Raito and Scrooge were being driven there by the limo that Duckworth was driving.
"Uncle Scrooge, I'm a bit nervous, I'll admt it." said Raito.
"I'm sure you'll do fine, you got the brains for it." said Scrooge feeling optimistic. "I won't let them take away."
"That's good to hear." said Raito.
They were almost there and Raito felt like he wanted to say something before he got to the building.
"Uncle Scrooge, I've been dating a woman and I think you should know who she is." said Raito with a breath.
"You and Bentina Beakley, am I right?" said Scrooge with a grin.
"How'd you know?" asked Raito.
"Well, for one, when you and Mrs. Beakley were in that closet, I kind of over heard the kissing and moaning and that night when Mantis passed, I over heard the two of doing the hot ride because I was walking by to check on you but when I heard you two, you know, I knew that I should give you two your privacy." explained Scrooge. "I know you've become a man but I know your still a kid somewhat, I'd like for you to enjoy the life you have with us since we're proud to have you as a part of the family."
"I will." said Raito proudly.
They hugged each other as they made it to the building. They knew that it was time for Raito to prove to the world that he has the rights to stay in Duckberg and become a part of the United States.
Two Hours Later
Scrooge and the others were waiting for Raito as he was taking the standardized test, he wasn't the only one who was doing that.
"I hope Raito doesn't have to go back to Japan, I don't want him to go." said Louie.
"Hopefully, he won't have to, we've been in many crazy situations and we've all came out on top before." Launchpad feeling hopeful.
They knew that Launchpad was right but they knew that they can't lose Raito and they won't give up on him. They heard foot steps coming and they saw Raito coming out of there.
"How did it go?" asked Huey.
"Only time will tell." said Raito.
Bentina walked over to him and hugged Raito. he hugged her back and both of them felt their love for each other spread like two lovers who will save each other from the Titanic.
Two Weeks Later
Raito was getting the mail at Scrooge's mansion and he was going through the mail till he found a letter with his name on it. Everyone was outside and he walked over to them.
"What you got there?" asked Gyro.
"Looks like the letter that will tell me if I passed or not." said Raito as he opened up the letter. "Now for the moment of truth."
He looked at the letter and read it, at first, he was looking nervous but within an instant, a smile was on his face. Raito was pleased.
"I passed." said Raito. "I did it."
Everyone there was thrilled. Scrooge and Flintheart danced the Irish Tap Dance, Magica and Poe cheered. The kids danced and jumped up and down for joy and everyone else did the same. Bentina and Raito kissed each other passionately.
"I know a way to celebrate." said Scrooge happily.
As Bentina and Raito pulled their lips away to breathe, they were happy to know that they'll be together.
"How?" asked Bentina.
"Well, for one, I pulled some strings and if Raito passed, than he can perform on stage in front of Duckberg. After that, we'll be getting ready for a family reunion. That is if Raito would liek that?" said Scrooge.
Raito was thinking for a moment and he knew that he's never gotten the chance to perform on stage and it excited him.
"I'd love to do that." said Raito proudly.
"Than it's settled. In about three days, you'll perform." said Scrooge with a smile.
They all were thrilled and Raito and Bentina kissed each other again. Raito knew that when he was going to perform, he knew a song or two he was going to perform as if he was ready for this his whole life.
