The Last Human Part 22
It had been a day since Raito defeated his own biological father and Raito was resting at the hospital in a room. He was awake and luckily for him, he had no injuries, no illness, nothing at all but he had a little case of exhaustion. Scrooge and the others were headed for his room as they opened the door to it.
"Try and be gentle with him, Raito is still resting." said Scrooge.
Scrooge, Duckworth, Bentina, Huey, Dewey, Louie, Webby, Bubba, Doofus, Launchpad, Tootsie, Gyro, Fenton, Flintheart and Magica were there to visit him. They all walked inside and saw Raito sitting up.
"I'd figure you guys be here." said Raito with a look of hope.
They all walked over to him as they knew he was still resting. Raito was looking better than ever.
"You look like your doing better than me after recovering from a stressful event." said Scrooge.
"Well, after that battle with my evil birth father, it was a bit intense. When my kind fight like that, we tend to get very tired after it's over." said Raito.
Raito remembered he had something to confess to Scrooge and the others and he knew he had to say it or he'll never get it off his chest.
"Uncle Scrooge, I have something or two to confess." said Raito with a sigh.
"We're all ears." said Scrooge.
Raito explained to them all that he was really older than he looks. They all were thinking he was a year older than the kids but he revealed to them that he was really at the age of eighteen which explained why he was so big for a man.
"Why did you try to make yourself seem younger?" asked Duckworth curiously.
"I knew that no one would help me if they knew my real age and I knew they'd help me out if I looked younger." said Raito blushing. "I really don't want to go back to Japan."
"Maybe I can find a way to prevent that." came a female voice.
They all saw Webra walk inside the room and she heard everything they all said. Webra knew that helping out a young man is something she wanted to do, other than get a good story.
"If it's that standardized test than I'm probably going to have to try that, I know there isn't any other way." said Raito as he was feeling a bit of hope spread through his heart and mind.
"Well, I can set it up for you but they'll probably know who you are since your all over the news when you saved Duckberg and everyone in it." said Webra as she was telling the truth. "But don't worry, we can make sure that we don't get crowded by others."
"Okay, that's a plan." said Raito.
They all knew that there was one more thing that they almost forgotten about as it popped into their heads. Raito was the first to speak.
"But where are the other humans, what if Mantis lied?" asked Raito as he was feeling his hope sink.
"Look outside and you tell us." said Webby with a grin.
Raito got out from his bed and went over to the window, he opened it up and saw something that gave him the hope he's been wanting. Out there was a massive crowd of humans in Duckberg, everyone in Duckberg and the humans were all there, all of them cheering, waving and smiling at Raito. Some of the humans were black, white and hispanic and more of them different colored skin from the cultures of the world.
"To our savior." all of them cheered.
Raito smiled and knew that Mantis didn't lie to them. The humans from his home planet were on Earth and he knew that this is the hope he's been waiting for. As a doctor came in the room, he informed them that they can go home and that Raito is free to go with him. Raito knew that now, he has a chance.
