[Tribute Poem] In a Sympathetic World
This is a poem I wrote as tribute to the short-story that i highly recommend reading from [RomanAlexander Blackpaw] "In a Sympathetic World". If you read the poem, you must read the story and then read the poem again, because It's extremely touching, and you may very well love literature forever afterwards! When you kiss me,
You kiss the heart of me,
And kiss the parts of me,
I'd never let anyone see.
When you lay with me,
You lay with the child in me,
And lay with the vulnerability,
Of the raped child you see.
When you hold me,
You hold me lovingly,
And hold me endlessly,
Like the perfect lover-to-be.
When you wake up with me,
You wake a flame in me,
And wake the glaciers in me,
Those have slept for an eternity.
When you open up to me,
You show me everything,
And to ask for anything,
You only ask for me.
When you leave me entity,
You leave the door open,
And the cold air seeps in...
When I try to follow,
The door shuts closed,
And the pipe organs begin...
I kiss away your memories,
I lay down your favorite bouquet,
I hold back the growing tears,
I wake from our Lovers'-dream-stare,
I open your tomb's doors,
I leave the pearl and ivory grave,
I try to wait for you on the other side,
And wait patiently, until I've died.
