#6 of An average day

Yes, I am still alive! Sorry for the (very) late update but my free time is all going to uni, my job AND my girlfriend so I have little time left to write but I'm doing my best. I'm also working on the second chapter of 'A Twist of Fate' but that will take a while before it's ready to be uploaded. I'll try to update as soon as possible and thanks for sticking around. Enjoy part 6 of 'An Average Day'

Characters belong to me, Isa and Connor based on Roamin and Gary from Unforgotten Realms show.

An Average Day part 6

Tom was in the kitchen making breakfast while Abby was still sleeping, he was making her favorite meal, bacon. He had no idea what time it was since the apartment had no clock what so ever but the sun was rising so he figured it was morning.

As he was baking the bacon he heard soft footsteps becoming from behind him and he didn't need to look to know it was Abby who smelled the bacon all the way from the bed. She walked next to Tom and looked with a hungry gaze at the sizzling bacon, he thought she was one moment away from drooling. The mental image of her devouring the bacon on the spot made him smile.

"Good morning Abby"

She shifted her gaze from the bacon to Tom and said "Good morning Tom"

"Slept well?" asked Tom while putting the bacon on a plate and Abby sitting down at the small table.

Abby couldn't count how many times her fur saved her from Tom spotting her blushing as she recalled the soft skin cushion also known as Tom.

"Yeah, but I'll have to get used to it." And she added mentally "And I hope we'll stay here a while too!"

"I got what you mean, a new place to live for now and don't forget our babysitters next door."

Tom placed the plate of bacon in front of Abby who was too busy in her mental process to notice the plate of meat in front of her while Tom sat down eating a small breakfast of bread and cheese.

"Crap, forgot about then. There is always something in my way!" she said mentally but with a visible frown.

"Something wrong Abby?" asked tom noticed her frown

"Oh nothing special, just wondering..."

"About?"

"Think Abby! You need an excuse and you need one NOW!"

_ _"About...our mission!"

"Our mission?"

"Yeah! You know, the one we had to do today?"

"Ah yes, I think I have it right here." Tom stood up snapping Abby out of her trance and making the plate of bacon jump in full attention to her as she started to eat it all down. Tom picked up an envelope he found under the door earlier and took it back to the table and began to open it. He pulled out a letter and began to read it in his mind. Abby finished her plate and turned to Tom.

"What's it saying?"

"Apparently we need to destroy their main research laboratory to prevent them from making progress on your DNA and the Spark. We need to go infiltrate the lab, find the main testing area where we need to destroy all their test results and equipment. Once we're down we leave and blow up the whole place."

"And what if we run into guards or technicians?"

"It says here we can kill anyone that gets in the way but if they want to surrender that we take them with us. Apparently they would use inside intel."

"Makes sense I guess, where is this place?" asked Abby wondering

"Uhm..." Tom looked at place but was not sure if he should tell this to Abby

"Tom? What's wrong?"

"You know the lab you escaped from?"

"Wait...you mean..."

"Yeah, that's the place."

Abby shuddered at the thought of going back to that place, memories of that place came to mind and made her ears go flat and she let out a small whimper which she didn't mean to make. Tom noticed her distress and walked to her to comfort her, as he ran his hand over her shoulder Abby snapped out of it and looked with watery eyes at Tom.

"It's all right Abby, you don't have to go if you want. I can do this by myself."

Abby smiled at Tom and placed her hand on his which was still on her shoulder.

"No, I want to come, I know my way around a little and I know one of the doctors there who might want to come with us."

"You sure?"

"Yeah, she was the only one there who treated me nice there, we have to at least offer it to her. "

"Very well, I'll clean up the dishes and then we'll get moving." He said throwing a smile at her

"But how are we going to get there? And don't we need explosives too?"

"Agent Jarton left a car outside with all we need in it. The ride will take some hours so we better get ready."

Abby nodded at Tom and she went to freshen herself up and brush her fur so it didn't look like she just woke up. She got back in the kitchen with Tom in a camouflage army suit with everything, an F 2000 assault rifle and heavy army boots.

"Tom?" Abby asked surprised by his appearance

"Yeah, the letter mentioned a suitcase in the closet with this. He took a close look at the F2000."

"Do you know how to use that?"

"No idea, we'll see soon enough though. From what I can see it's a semi-auto with 30 rounds clips. It's about four kilo's from what I can tell, it's got a small scope but the barrel is too short for long range so I guess a range of about five hundred meters, give or take."

"How do you..."

"My uncle loved weapons, always talking about them when I was young, guess I never forgot some stuff he said."

"You never mentioned your uncle before. Where is he?"

"Let's just say his passion became his end."

"Owh..."

"Oh that reminds me, there was an outfit for you aswell." Tom said pointing at the suitcase on the couch. Abby walked to the suitcase finding a camo pack for her in it. Normally she wouldn't even go anywhere near green but a red vixen would be spotted miles away so she figured she could wear it just for this one time.

She was about to go the bedroom to change but then grinned as she got an idea. She began to undress in the living room and dropped her clothes on the ground audibly making Tom's head turn and immediately turn red. She had to suppress a giggle as she was tempted to do a little show for him with her back turned to him. When she was naked she bended over to pick up special boots that would make her feet more comfortable then a human boot would giving Tom a clear sight of her nether regions making him blush more and turn away with a small bulge in his pants.

Pleased to see he was liking what he saw she didn't need to know more and decided to dress up faster and when Tom dared to turn around she was fully dressed in an outfit similar to his only made for her form and noticed that her curves were very expressed making him blush more.

Tom tossed the rifle around his back and took the keys that were included in the envelope and went to the door trying to get his mind on something else then Abby's naked form.

Abby on her end was having a lot of fun watching Tom turn as red as a vixen, she found him cute when she was able to break his calm mental state and now she knew for sure he didn't think of her as 'uninterested'. Abby walked out of the door as Tom stood by the door closed it up after her. They went to the underground parking lot which they didn't know it was there until it was mentioned in the letter. They walked to where their transport was supposed to be and found a smaller version of a humvee that the military often use.

"If I didn't know any better I'd say we're working for the army." Said Abby staring at the humvee.

"I guess they want to mislead Swiftman into thinking the military is behind this and not the NSPA." Tom answered as he opened the trunk finding more suitcases. He opened one and found large caliber rounds and smaller once. He figured the smaller rounds were for his F2000 but the larger caliber ones puzzled him. He was about to open another suitcase when he realized he better did this somewhere private then in an underground parking lot where someone could see this and be suspicious.

"Seems 'our friends' did give us all we need." Tom said closing the trunk.

"What was in it?"

"I think we better do that somewhere less public."

"Oh yeah, good call."

Tom climbed into the driver's seat and Abby in the passenger's seat and they both notice the GPS was already showing a travel route to somewhere in a forest.

"This isn't the lab, it's the forest around it. We're at least a few miles away!"

"That's all right, this way we can properly look at our supplies and come up with a plan."

"But that will take hours."

"I think it's better to strike at night anyway, less personnel inside so less casualties and the less people there the smaller our chances of being detected."

"Do you think of these kind of things in advance or right on the spot?"

"I think both. Guess I'm just fast."

"No kidding, you already got a plan while I'm still getting used to this horrible outfit, green with brown is so not my color."

"Well I have to say you look good in it."

Abby smiled at Tom and thanked him, Tom's eyes instantly darting over her before he snaps back into reality realizing what he has to do as he starts the humvee and drive out the parking lot. A lot of people turned their heads not being used to see military drive around the city and wondering what this meant but nobody was thinking anything of it. From the apartment next to Tom and Abby was Agent Jarton staring at the humvee as they left the city.

"You think they'll make it sir?" asked one of the men to Jarton

"If they can't then I don't know who can. We'll just have to put our faith in them."

The humvee left the city and drove towards their destination which for now was still a mystery for both of them but little did they know of a threat closing in on them.

[Likora City]

"What do you mean two trails?!" asked Isa

"Like I told you! One goes further in the city and the other leaves the city!" came the answer from the anthro tiger

"Can't you just make out the most recent one?"

"Normally yes but there are too many other scents in the city, like static interference on a radio. You can hear the music but not the lyrics."

"Great, we'll follow the trail towards the city."

"You sure? Because it would make more sense to me that they'd leave the city."

"I doubt they got a car and gas this fast, now lead the way already."

Connor shrugged and continued to lead them towards the apartment despite the mass of people in the city.

[Somewhere far northeast of Likora City]

Tom stopped the humvee as they arrived at an old shed in the forest, according the their map the facility was several miles away to the west. He looked at his watch and noticed he had four hours before the sun would set, he planned to strike at night. He unloaded the trunk in the shed which had little more than a table, a chalkboard, chairs and some empty closets.

Abby in the meanwhile went inside and explored the shed but didn't find anything other then the furniture and that this place wasn't been used in a long time considering the wood on some places was rotten and wet.

"Well, at least it's not raining" Tom said carrying the last suitcases inside and closing the door behind him.

Abby sat down at the table and gazed at the suitcases finding herself curious to what's in them, in total there were four suitcases with about the standard form but three were aluminum.

"Well, let's see what we got here." Tom placed the three other suitcases on the ground and opened the not aluminum one while standing. He found a lot of maps but very specific maps which even gave distances from the tree lines in steps off hundred meters with a device to measure wind speed, maps of the surrounding and the inside.

"What can we do with those? Other then the maps from the inside." Asked Abby confused

"I don't know, this is more the stuff you need when..."

"Tom? What's wrong?"

Tom didn't answer, he just placed an aluminum suitcase on the table and began to open while he talked. "We can't use this stuff but a sniper does!"

As he finished his sentence the suitcase flew open revealing a disassembled sniper rifle, an HTI rifle (Hard Target Interdiction Rifle) to be precise. Tom remembered this rifle, his uncle had one too, max range over 2000 meters, amazing precision with low recoil and lighter than most rifles and a magazine for six rounds with .338 caliber bullets. It was even able to pierce light armor vehicles and multiple targets. The environment didn't even matter, the precision and reliability was high no matter what weather conditions.

Abby stared at the rifle and looked at Tom "Can you use that?"

Tom picked up the part and began to reassemble the rifle like he never did anything else for years. "Yeah, my uncle had one. He taught me to use it but how could NSPA know?"

"Guess they did their homework."

"Yeah, let's check the other suitcases."

Tom opened another suitcase and found it filled with ammo for his FN 2000 and the larger ones were most likely for the HTI rifle since they were .338 too.

Abby opened the other finding plastic explosives with fuses and several detonators.

"You sure we are going to this lab and not some warfront?" asked Abby amazed by the sheer amount of firepower at their disposal.

"Let's hope we won't need it all." Tom said finishing assembling the rifle with a night vision scope and everything he needs

"So what's the plan Tom?"

"We'll take out guards with the rifle and then fight our way through the middle of this place and plant all the explosives we got there and find that person you mentioned and then run like hell and watch the fireworks from a safe distance."

"And what will I do then?"

"You'll cover my back and I you as a spotter."

"Spotter?"

"Yeah, you keep an eye out for me and tell me stuff like distance, wind speed, and so on."

"Alright and where will we be?"

"Right here" Tom said pointing at the map.

[Laboratory, nightfall]

Tom laid down looking through the scope spotting two guard posts with machine guns and two man with each. He also spotted two patrols of three man walking around with a gap of five minutes behind the gunposts so they couldn't see them directly unless they looked through the window in the iron door. He also spotted a guard at a small door at the west side of the building.

*Whisper* "So who first Tom?"

*First we wait for the patrol to pass and then we got five minutes before the next. First the left post since the other two are barely awake and they can't see each other directly. When I find an opening I'll need wind speeds and distance. Can you do that Abby?*

Abby grabbed the map of their environment with distances and kept an eye on the wind speed meter. They were lying in cover facing the front of the lab in a bush right inside the tree line, to measure the wind speed she'd briefly hold her hand out the bush.

*Will do*

*Alright, wait for my signal*

Tom waited for about twenty minutes when one of the guards turned around to grab something, the patrol wasn't due to four minutes so had to grab his chance.

*Now Abby*

Abby looked at the maps and measured the wind speed and said *eight hundred meters, zero point six wind speed from the north east east*

Tom adjusted his aim slightly as the guard was still turned with his back tom Tom while the other continued to look around. He aimed a little right and above his forehead of the guard still looking around. He used a silencer on the barrel so nobody would hear the shot, he hoped the bullet wouldn't hit anything of metal or else others might hear it and then it would be a lot harder to get inside safely. He steadied his hand and pulled the trigger, seconds later the bullet hit the guard right in the head and his friend turned around noticing his fellow guard's body with a hole in his head. He looked around quickly but never knew what happened next, Tom manually extracted the empty cartridge and a new bullet loaded instantly, he aimed again but this time going for the other guard who was still too caught by surprise to move, a mistake he wouldn't make a second time. He pulled the trigger followed by a soft 'plop' and soon after the guard dropping dead with a bullet through his heart into the door behind him. Apparently the other gun post heard because he saw one of them calling out for them but of course they didn't respond. He saw one of them getting up to investigate and he emptied the cartridge again.

*wind speed* asked Tom with a calm voice

Abby looked at the meter quickly *three point five from north north east*

Tom aimed a little to the right of the window of the door and aimed a little higher now he was facing stronger head wind. The door swung open and the guard saw the dead bodies of his colleagues but he never had a chance to call alarm, a second later and he got a hit in the head causing him to fall backwards outside the post. This could make things complicated because the next patrol would come soon around the corner and they would see the body immediately. He'd need to act fast, he didn't wait for the other guard to leave his post to hear what the soft thud was. He aimed again and fired, he hit him clean through the chest as he watched him fall down and not get back up.

*Distance to west corner and wind speed*

*Nine hundred and twenty meters, one point two from north east*

Tom aimed for the corner and high enough to make up for the wind and far enough to the right for the same reason. He didn't have to wait long before the patrol came around and spotted the dead guard laying on his back as they ran towards them Tom aimed for the last guard and fired. He hit him before he could even start running as he dropped dead with a hole through his head. The guard direct in front of him heard him falling and turned around to look. Tom reloaded and fired aiming for the second guard's head but as he fires he moved forward and the bullet missed his head by a few inches and buried itself in the wall behind him causing him to jump in attention and look in Tom's direction. He was about to shoot again when he found out his six round magazine was empty. He cursed as he got a new magazine but in the meanwhile the guard figured out there was a sniper and ran to warn his colleague. Tom was ready to fire when both of them took cover behind the left gunpost and he saw the elbow of one of the guard stick out from the side, he figured he was using a radio to warn the others, he couldn't let that happen so he aimed for the shoulder and fired. He hit his elbow severing his arm in half and saw his upper arm fall to the ground with a radio clutched in the hand. He leaned down to pick it up and was soon treated on another round to his head before he realized his mistake. The last guard was standing behind the now closed door since Tom could see the top of his hair through the glass. He aimed for where he assumed the chest was hoping the bullet would pierce the door enough to kill the guard. He fired and saw the bullet pierce the door soon followed by the guard dropping dead from behind the gun post.

*That's the last of them* whispered Tom

*You sure?*

*Well we can't stay here forever, let's go*

Tom got up from cover and waited for a few seconds without any alarms going off. Abby soon followed as Tom ran towards the building leaving his sniper rifle behind carrying a backpack and Abby carrying one as well. They reached the building and went flat against the wall, they walked along the wall until they reached the door which appeared to be locked from the inside.

*I'll need some explosives to blast this door open*

*Won't that make a lot of noise?*

*Maybe not if we use smaller ones, we'll have to take our chances*

Abby gave him some explosives and he made smaller ones of them the size of a finger and planted them along the outlining of the door and planted a fuse on all of them. They stepped back from the door and Tom took a detonator from the backpack.

*Well, we'll know if this is a good idea or not very soon*

Tom hit the button and the explosives went off with a not so loud bang but still louder then they wanted but no alarms went off much to their delight.

*So far so good. Any clue where this friend of yours can be?*

*Most likely in the lab area, if not we can ask whoever is there. There was always one of them there working on something*

*Alright, I'll take point and you'll cover my back and tell me where to go*

*But I can use the Spark, shouldn't I take point?*

*You are more important than me Abby, it's better that I take point* Tom said with a smile at Abby

Abby couldn't help but smile, she more important than him? Did he really think that high of her? Involuntarily her tail began to wag a little more than usual but lucky for her the darkness covered it well.

*Well, here we go* Tom walked towards the opening where once the door was with Abby right behind him. Tom went inside noticing the interior was plain white hallways. HE continued along the hallway with his FN2000 cocked and switched to semi until he reached a crossway.

"Which way?" Tom asked not whispering anymore

Abby took a good look at the surrounding before pointing to the left corridor. "That way"

Tom nodded and turned left, this continued for a few minutes until they reached a large room with a lot of complicated equipment along the room with cages in one corner and a large table in the middle which seemed to be used for operating purposes and a single figure standing behind a desk writing something down. As soon as they entered Tom could hear Abby whimper behind him, he can only imagine what it must like for her. Being trapped here treated like a lab rat. It disgusted him, Tom walked towards the figure with his rifle cocked and said 'Show me your hands and turn around slowly'

The figure froze instantly and did as instructed, once turned around the person seemed to be a male human late in his thirties with common facial structures and short hair with no facial hair. "What do you want?" He asked frightened at the sight of Tom pointing a gun at him.

"Where is Sophie!" demanded Abby

"You mean doctor Hall? She was taken away a few days ago but I don't know where! I swear."

"No! That can't be true!" Abby turned away and began to sob slightly. Tom demanded the man to turn around and he did, as soon as he was turned around Tom hit him on the back of the head with the handle making him fall unconscious to the ground. He turned to Abby who was still sobbing and he placed his hand on her shoulder as he stood beside her.

"I'm sorry to hear Abby." Tom said trying to comfort her

"I wanted *sob* to see her again *sob* so badly..." Abby turned to Tom and hugged him around the chest still sobbing.

"And now they took her! *sob*"

Tom ran his hand through her hair feeling sorry for her, he realized he had to complete the mission but she was more important then that.

"We'll find her, one way or another. I promise." Tom said

"Y..you mean it?"

"Absolutely, a friend of yours is a friend of mine."

Abby couldn't help but pull Tom into a hug, as she did Tom did little to fight back and hug her back for a few seconds amazed by the softness of her fur before pulling back smiling at her.

"Now let's blow this place sky high." Tom said smiling

Abby nodded and placed down her backpack, she opened it and pulled out several plastic explosives and handed them to Tom. They planted the explosives all around the lab in every corner and near important looking equipment and linked them all up to a single detonator.

"Abby, I know this might be a lot to ask but do you know where they kept other people captured?"

Abby couldn't help but smile inwards as he said 'people' and not 'animals' as they were often described.

"Yes, why do you ask?"

"I figure we should check if they are any left before we blow this place up."

"Good idea, follow me."

Abby turned and went into the eastern hallway with Tom right behind her. They ran for a minute until they went around a corner and nearly bumped into a patrol. Abby froze up but Tom immediately fired a few rounds at the guards soon followed by them dropping dead to the ground.

"I hope they didn't hear that.." said Abby a little concerned

"We better hurry."

They continued to run towards the area where Abby and others were held and soon they arrived at some sort of prison block with tiny cages barely large enough to move around. They saw several cages with other anthro's locked in them.

"I can't believe this, these people are monsters" Tom said angry at how they would treat these people for nothing more then experiments. Any doubt he had to blow this place up was now gone. Tom grabbed a lead pipe from the ground and walked towards the cages. The first cage contained a female anthro bunny who was whimpering as she saw Tom approach but instead of being hit as she expected he knocked off the lock and opened to door. She was confused but still not trusting the human.

"Abby, can you help them? I think they'll trust you better then a human like me."

Abby nodded and walked towards the anthro bunny reassuring her they were here to free them and to destroy this place, Tom continued to break open cages and then Abby would reassure the prisoners they meant no harm. By the time they were done they had freed a small group of five people, the female bunny, two male grey wolfs, a female tiger and a male horse. All of them were suffering from wounds due to the too small cages they were kept in.

Tom signaled them to follow him and with a reassuring nod from Abby they obligated and followed Tom who took point with his rifle ready to use in case they would run into someone as Abby covering the rear telling Tom which way to go. After a few turns the alarm suddenly went off alerting the entire lab of their presence.

"Crap, they must have discovered the bodies of the guards. How far are we from the exit Abby?"

"Not far, if we keep up this pace we'll be there shortly."

They continued to run and a few seconds later they returned at the door they used to enter, Tom was relieved to see the guards weren't waiting for them as they arrived. As soon as Tom peeked his head outside he was saluted by a hail of bullets from a few guards waiting for them.

"Alright, I'll give covering fire and then all of you run like mad towards the forest line. Ready?"

Tom watched as the small group of anthro's nodded silently and her took a deep breath praying to whatever god was up there that this would work. He turned outside towards the guards and went full auto with his rifle as he heard bullets fly by him. The guards immediately stopped firing and took cover behinds the gun posts while the anthro's ran behind Tom towards the forest line. As the last one reached the forest line Tom took cover inside again to reload and heard the guards fire once again.

"I hope that we'll get enough distance between us and these guys or we'll get caught in the blast." Abby said standing right behind Tom ready to run

"Only one way to find out."

Tom turned to return fire once again and the guards took cover again behind the gun posts. Tom and Abby ran towards the as Tom kept covering them but before they could reach the forest line he ran out, Abby was faster then him and already got to the tree line but Tom had a few meters to go. The guards came out of cover again and fired at Tom, he ran towards the tree line but got hit in his left arm causing him to slow down for a second wincing in pain but that was all the guards needed. As he ran slower he got hit in his right leg several times making him yell in pain as he fell face first to the ground. This caused Abby to turn around and saw Tom on the ground with a bleeding arm and leg trying to crawl towards the tree line.

She knew she had to do something or Tom was done for so she formed two orbs with her hands and threw them towards the guards sending them flying in the air as they hit the guard post. Abby ran towards Tom and supported him as they both made it to the tree line, she continued to run with Tom leaning on her but she lacked physical strength and Tom's weight soon began to become too much for her causing her to panic knowing that they had to walk several hours before they would reach the jeep again.

Abby collapsed onto the ground dropping Tom as well as his weight was too much to bear, Tom grunted in pain as he hit the floor. Abby was out of ideas as suddenly the group of anthro's came out of the bushes towards them. The male horse picked up Tom who was fighting to stay conscious and carried his onto his back. The tigress helped Abby up who was reminded of the fact they needed to know where to go. She pulled a compass from Tom's backpack which was now being carried by one of the grey wolves and they walked south towards the shed. Abby looked at Tom who was barely conscious due to blood loss, She couldn't risk losing him on the way back!

She asked the horse who was named Shim to put Tom down and searched Tom's backpack again and found medical supplies but she knew she had to remove the bullets first. She took a large tweezers and turned to Tom.

"Tom, I'll need to pull out the bullets but it will hurt a lot."

Tom looked at Abby and smiled. "Go ahead, I trust you Abby. I'll handle the pain."

Abby was blushing underneath her fur again and her tail began to wag a little faster as she leaned down to pry out the bullet in his arm. Tom grunted in pain but didn't resist as Abby pried out the bullets one by one until all four bullets. She cleaned and disinfected the wounds before wrapping his left arm and right left in bandages. As she did Tom grabbed her arm with his good arm causing Abby to flinch but immediately reassured by his weak smile.

"Thank you... Abby."

Before she could even think about that Tom passed out and left Abby confused.

"He thanks me? For what? I should be the one thanking HIM."

She'd have to ask him later since he was out for the time being.

Shim picked him up again carefully without opening the wounds again as they continued the walk back to the shed and the Humvee. After a good hour walk (it took less time because they weren't carrying heavy backpacks) the group arrived at the shed. Shim went inside and laid Tom down on a small bed that was in a separate room while the others said their tanks and goodbyes to Abby before walking away and disappearing in the dense forest. Abby went inside to check on Tom's wounds and found him vastly asleep in the small bed. She smiled as she inspected the bandages and wounds which were slowly healing. She suddenly remembered that The Spark could be used to repair damaged tissue but she had no idea how or even if she could do that. Not wanting to worsen his condition Abby refrained from trying and decided to make something to eat figuring Tom would be hungry when he would awaken and also feeling a little hungry herself. She opened the broken down rusty fridge finding no meat but filled with canned vegetables and fruit.

"No bacon?! Shame..." She thought to herself and grabbed the cans of fruit seeing the expiration date was a few days from today so it should still be edible. She was about to look for a can opener when she heard something yell: "Here I gooo!"

[Forest]

"Isaaaaaaaaa, I can't go on anymoreeeeeeee." Said the anthro tiger to the human walking in front of him following a Humvee track.

"Will you shut up already, We would have had to walk a lot less if you would have smelled that they left the city." Snared Isa back at Connor getting slightly annoyed by his childish behavior.

"I told you that with so many scents I couldn't do that! I'm not a miracle worker! Why couldn't we just get a car?"

"I would if someone didn't try to eat that horse lady from the rental company!" Yelled Isa at Connor

"But I was hungry, my instincts took over and you can't say she didn't look tasty!"

"Yes I can! Because I'm a human remember and now shut up or I'll lose the trail."

"But I can track them here, unlike in the city there aren't that many smells to confuse me." Pleaded Connor

"So we end up in the middle of nowhere surrounded by dense forest? No thank you and besides, those guys in that apartment said they had a Humvee and those leave clear tracks even for me! And you better safe your strength for when we find them."

After a good hour they arrived at the shed and saw light burn inside. Isa squatted in the bush with Connor behind him.

"There they are, you go first and I'll cover you." Isa said to Connor

"Alright, time to show them the power of team IsCo!"

"Team IsCo? What's that?" Asked Isa confused to Connor

"It's us!" Connor said with a stupid smile

"First of all, just no. Second, what for stupid name is that?"

"It's our names fused together, Is stands for Isa and Co for me."

"That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard."

"But we need a calling name to not give away our secret identity!"

"Secret identity? We don't have one for starters and we aren't wearing mask" Isa said a little louder at Connor

"Superman doesn't wear a mask."

"That's because he had glasses you idiot." Isa said sounding a little annoyed by Connor

"Well we could wear contacts..." Connor suggested

"I don't think he wore glasses due to eyesight."

"Well Spiderman doesn't wear one either."

"What?! Of course he does!"

"Really? Then who am I thinking of?"

"Still Superman you moron."

"Then how about Batman?"

*sigh* "Mask" Isa replied

"Green Lantern?"

"Mask"

"Waldo?"

"No mask but he's not a superhero more a lost tourist."

"But he wears glasses right?"

"For the love of... Just go already before they leave." Isa said holding his palm on his front head

"Fine, Here I gooo!"

[Inside the shed]

Abby went to the door to see what was going on outside but when she put her hand on the handle something big crashed into the door causing the door to break down in several pieces and sending Abby flying across the room hitting the wall behind her hard causing her to yelp in pain and causing her a lot of back pain. When she looked towards the door she saw a big anthro tiger standing in the door opening claws drawn and growling deeply towards her. She decided to not give him to time to charge again and flung an orb towards him exploding on contact with a cloud of smoke. She was relieved but when the smoke cleared he still stood there with an arm in front of his face unharmed and the doorframe completely destroyed behind him.

"He doesn't even have a scratch! How..."

Abby was so surprised by this event she was too late to dodge when the tiger charged at her again. He made contact with his shoulder on her chest forcing all the air out of her and even breaking through the wooden wall behind her. She was sent flying towards a tree behind her causing her to gasp for air as she drops to the ground in pain.

"This is bad, I have to get him away from me."

He walked towards her and she was charges a larger spell hopefully strong enough to hurt him. Once he got close she fired the larger orb from near point blank and hit the tiger directly in the chest sending him flying through the house again before exploding as he exited the house the same way he entered. She walked to the house to see if he was defeated but she felt a sting in her back and ribs and blood ran down her face from the top of her head. She saw the small crater and the smoke thinking he was down but then he stepped out of the cloud of smoke but his fur completely messed up and a small amount of blood running down his left arm but other then that he wasn't injured.

"Impossible... this guy is indestructible!"

Abby heard a grunt behind her and saw Tom coming out of the shed but we was in no condition to fight.

"Tom! Get away from here! He's too strong!" Abby yelled but Tom wouldn't listen as he continued until he was standing next to her with his sword drawn."

"I know, we can't defeat him but I can buy you time to run."

"Buy time?! What are you talking about!" Yelled Abby at Tom

"Look at me Abby, I'm barely able to walk let alone outrun him. You go and I'll buy you as much time as I can for you to get away."

"No! I'm not going to leave you to die!"

At this time Isa appeared from the bushes holding two Desert Eagle 50AE pointed at them.

"You're not going anywhere vixen and neither are you human."

Abby and Tom looked at each other, the tiger alone was more then they could handle but with the addition of that guy their chances went from slim to none.

"Damnit, I guess this is it Abby. I wish we could somehow undo this or go back in time and make sure we didn't bump into these guys."

Suddenly the tiger spoke in a calm voice "Did you just say go back in time?"

Tom looked at the tiger at taken by surprise at this and answered cautiously "Yes?"

The tiger then answered "Uhm, no. Not gonna happen."

Tom even more confused by this just replied: "Uhm...what?"

"If you would go back in time you'd create an alternative timeline and me and Isa would be stuck here and not be able to complete our mission."

Tom and Abby looked at each other with confused looks when Isa replied: "What? No you idiot. If they went back in the past we wouldn't have found them and we would not be here or even having this conversation and we wouldn't even remember it."

"I think you're mistaken Isa."

"For the love of..., there is no such thing as an alternative timeline and I hate it when people say that."

"Wait a minute! What I'm getting from this Isa, is that you didn't like 'Going back to the future 7' ".

"No I don't because it's stupid! There isn't even such a thing as time travel!"

"We're not saying if it's possible Isa but we're discussing the theory."

Isa turned to Connor and aimed his Desert Eagle 50AE at him.

"Screw this, I can take these two by myself. I'm sick of you and your stupidity, you are so lucky we needed you or the boss would have had you killed so long ago."

Connor looked at Isa and lifted his eyebrow. "Uhm Isa, you should know that..."

Isa interrupted Connor and continued: "Shut up you big idiot, this is it for you. The boss sends his regards."

Connor was about to say something when Isa fired at least ten rounds at Connor who fell to the ground. Isa looked at Connor but was shocked to see he was unharmed and well.

"Outch! That hurts man!"

"You got to be kidding me...'
