the cute and rare eevee
PT1 of a pokemon story i've been working on, enjoy
The Pokémon eevee is rare and very hard to find. I've wanted one for as long as I can remember, I want to keep it as a normal eevee, no stones just an eevee.
One day in the Pokémon center I was in luck, a guy at the Pokémon center said he knew of a place that sold them, he then put his hand in his pocket and pulled the Pokémon out. It was cute but was sick looking, it looked like it was only a few days old, not very strong it shivered and coughed, if you could have - in Pokémon I'd say it was -10. He then said "500 Pokémon coins it's yours".
I paid him, he then left in a hurry, but I had a eevee, I was happy until I looked at it better, it was very sick, it could hardly stand up, it was only just able to, it then feel to the floor closed its eyes coughed then died.
500 Pokémon coins gone I wanted my money back! I looked around but no sign of him, I then saw him he was going into the woods I followed him. I wanted my 500 coins back.
He got to a big cabin and went in, I looked from the distance and safety of the bushes, as I looked I saw some cages at the side. I walked over and was shocked at what I saw.
All types of cute Pokémon in cages! Eevee, Poochyena, Vulpix, they where all there it was terrible though how they raised them. They took a male and a female that where for all I know brother and sister, its hard to tell what family your from, they then injected them with something that made them mate, it was awful!. I took a load of pictures for evidence I then went inside.
Inside where more, all Pokémon where in poor shape, fur falling out and looking very thin, I looked and saw my guy, he put the 500 coins in the safe, he then got another Pokémon, a small Vulpix, it was having a meal from its sick mother, it was taken away and placed into his pocket he then left, looking for another sucker.
I took more pictures getting more evidence, the eggs where just left to the cold air no mothering nothing just left to hatch then placed with some random mother. Some Pokémon where free but they where mostly show ones, as in good looking ones, to fool people into thinking this is what goes on. A nice safe breeding place, they even had an old couple at the front but there where possible the ones that started it.
I got out and ran to the Pokémon day care center, Officer Jenny was there and Joy, when I showed them the pictures they where shocked. Joy almost fainted from this, Jenny got her force and they stormed the place mainly just from the pictures.
It was an evil group team evil, they only wanted one thing, money, they ran away as soon as the police came, Nurse Joy was busy so was officer jenny she was catching the team evils I helped out as much as I could rounding up Pokémon giving them to Joy. I then went to the open area where the good Pokémon where, they weren't stupid, they'd gone into hiding, 4 of them.
One pair of Eevee's, one pair of Vulpix, one pair of Poochyena, then another pair of Pokémon two Growlithe's. They looked at me and I offered food, they sniffed and ate it very fast too they all came over to eat the food. They where then taken away, I looked into the holes where they were hiding, in each hiding was a nest, I then looked closer and found an egg, then looking at the other three area's I found three more eggs!
Four eggs in total, later that day all the Pokémon from that place went to the day care center, most where in such bad state they where too ill to even help, they weren't killed they where helped but most died just from the help. The team evil lot didn't get away; most did but the ones they caught are doing hard time in Pokémon prison, life for miss treatment of Pokémon, act 1997.
Maybe now after that start I can introduce myself, I'm tom, a Pokémon trainer, I'm 13, I ware normal everyday trainer clothes and I'm normal trainer size. I only have one Pokémon, an Absol, she was my first Pokémon, I knew her since I was a baby, she was to look after me, and she did a good job, when I was older and got my trainers lenience, my parents gave her too me as we'd bounded very well.
I'd seen loads of Pokémon around my way but I never caught any, I wasn't a good trainer. The first battle I ever had was with a bug Pokémon, I tried but failed and it got away. After that I deiced to just fill up my pokedex, but one Pokémon I'd seen and really wanted was an eevee, I loved there colours, the fur, and how rare and cute they where. The only problem was people used stones to get the one they wanted, I wanted that one, I just wanted the eevee.
As I got home, I got to my room and placed my bag on the floor lightly; I then got some Pokémon cushions, and put the eggs on them. They where still warm, I was careful to remove them from my bag then put them on the cushion, I then got Absol out, she looked and sniffed the eggs, then licked them she seemed to be checking for life. I cleaned them up so they no longer smelt of death and of that place; I then made a log book of them.
Egg one: colours are white and brown, eevee egg? Egg two: colours are red and white, not sure on this one; it was being looked after by a pair of Growlithe Pokémon. Egg three: colours are white and light black, Poochyena egg for sure. Egg four: colours are light orange and white, Vulpix egg.
The days went by, the eggs made great improvements, they moved more, they responded to our voices, mine and Absol's then late at night they started to hatch. Pokémon egg hatch at night as it's easier, and they have a less chance of being eaten by pray.
I woke to Absol nosing me with her cold nose, I yawned and looked seeing the pillows move around bits of shell everywhere, I picked the pillows up and there was egg one, I'd written the numbers on the shell, it then cracked and pop, there was an eevee, then another three pops, three more Pokémon!
They where so nice, one was an eevee, the others where a Vulpix, a Poochyena, and a Growlithe, I very was happy.
I picked them up and they where very light, Absol then nosed at me, she lay on the floor and spread her fur showing her belly I put the little ones near her, she then leaned over licking them and they started to suckle her. She purred and I stroked her to comfort her as this was new to her. I'd done something good, but now I knew I'd have 4 Pokémon to look after and that was going to be hard!
After the feeding they yawned and looked around I picked them up one by one cuddling them, they where so light, like a soft warm living pillow. I then placed them on one big pillow; they yawned and started to sleep all snuggling up to each other to keep warm. I looked at the clock in my room, 4 in the morning, I sighed yawned and got some sleep, Absol jumped onto the bed and went to sleep as well facing the little ones looking at them every so often.
Morning came and I woke up and looked then I found out why most people don't keep young baby Pokémon at home. One was playing with the wires for my computer. Another one was chewing my socks and my underwear. The other two where looking at each other growling, then pounced each other play fighting. I grabbed the one playing with the wires, Absol then picked the one up eating my socks now and placed him in the basket, he whimpered then they all whimpered as Absol looked at them. I then knew what I needed to do, make my bedroom safe.
I taped the wires out of reach or moved them so they couldn't be played with, I then put tape over the open sockets. Then I closed my door putting a lock on it and a note saying, please close door baby Pokémon on the loose. Next I put some of my old now holly socks on the areas that might harm or hurt if walked into or pounced on like bed legs table legs. Absol kept them busy with feeding and making sure they didn't go far by grabbing them and placing them back with the others after all that I was ready to look after them.
I then smelt something, something yucky. I looked and saw one of the Pokémon had pee'd on the rug, I looked and sighed, I needed to go to the store to get some items for them.
I closed the door and left Absol in my place, I took my dad's Pokémon with me as Absol was looking after the little ones a simple Pidgy. As I left Absol looked out of the window watching me go she then feed the little ones. One of them was very curious at what this thing was on the floor, the one thing I'd forgotten to put out of the way was my game consol, the Growlithe Pokémon deiced to pounce it as it was shiny, he pounced it and the hand controller landed on him he ran away and hid behind Absol. Then the eevee Pokémon looked at it, seeing herself in the mirror effect, she started to lick it and make funny faces, the Growlithe now a bit more less scared came over and did the same, then the Vulpix came over to join the fun and a fight broke out, it wasn't much, just a loud of noise Absol used growl to get some order. She sighed and licked the little Poochyena by her it was asleep, that's all it did sleep and eat. The others then wandered around the room bored looking at them self's in the now none shiny mirror. It was all new to them, new smells, new things, one of them found the heater which was on she deiced to sleep there, it was the Vulpix, she liked this, it was warm cozy.
The eevee deiced my bed was more fun, the bit that was hanging off a bit she pulled and it feel on top of her, I never make the bed as I'm lazy. She howled and cried, Absol lifted the cover up and the eevee got out rubbing agents Absol thanking her. The Growlithe sniffed around the door, scrapped at the door trying to get out, but I'd closed it and the door handle was very far away for such a small puppy, he just turned around a few times and went to sleep by the door.
I came home with a load of things and items from the store, I got to my room and the Growlithe barked, it was more a yelp then bark. The others looked and Absol pulled him back, I then came in and saw a bit of a mess. My bed sheets where on the floor with a tail poking out from them the eevee wandered why it was dark under there. My heater was now the place where Vulpix was going to stay, and then I saw my game on its side, paw marks and lick marks on it. I put the stuff on the bed, I then picked my game up putting it away, I then lifted the bed sheet up and said "boo" lightly at the eevee, it smiled and licked me, Yuk.
I then rustled the bag and all four looked at me, they sat by my feet looking, I put on the floor 4 trays, each a different colour, eevee sniffed at the pink one with some nice flowers on them, she then put a paw on the edge and it moved, she then ran as it made a noise when it hit the ground. The Vulpix sniffed at the green tray, she got in and slide around on the surface the Growlithe thought this looked like fun, hopped in and slide into her, they laughed and played. The Poochyena sniffed at the black tray, licking it then going back to the pillow and sleeping. I smiled as I picked the Growlithe up and placed him in the blue box, he smiled clawing at the base trying to get to the other Growlithe in there, it was just a reflection of him.
I then got out some bowels of the same colours and filled them with water, all four drank this water enjoying it, I then got out the toys.
I'd brought a few tennis balls, a rubber chew thing, and a chew tug; I'd also brought some girl Pokémon toys, a very nice small rope toy and a small boy toy that jingled.
I filled the trays up with Pokémon litter, I then placed the little Pokémon on them, they sniffed and tried to eat the stuff, they soon learned it wasn't for eating. They ran to absol and started to nose her after eating the yucky gray stuff in there trays. She got down and they feed, I sat on the bed getting out some brushes each one for a certain Pokémon, I then picked the finished feeding Growlithe and brushed him, he bit the brush thinking it was a game but soon got use to it. I also had some soft Pokémon treats, each time they did something good they got a treat. I then heard the outside door go; I put Growlithe down on the bed, still murring from the brushing and went down to get the item.
Growlithe opened his eyes seeing as he was no longer being brushed and looked at my bed, he then sniffed the air and went into the bag and found the treats, he started to eat them.
I came up carrying a big gray basket; I put it on the floor and put the pillow in it. I then saw a tail wagging happily from the bag, I sat down by the tail and poked the Pokémon it was attached to, I pulled the Pokémon out and he looked at me still eating the treats, he then gave me cute eyes and I forgave him. I placed him on the floor picking up the eevee and brushing her, she purred enjoying it, I smiled and did the same to the others, it was now very late, I yawned it had been a busy day. Absol looked at me then placed all the little Pokémon in the new basket, I then looked as they yawned and started to sleep all snuggled up with there new mom.
