William and Dane finally move

"You ready to go Will?" , yelled Dane.

"Yeah I'll be right down!" , William yelled back.

William ran down and got into the truck.

dane grabbed his paw, and said, "You ready?"

"I'm ready, I'm ready to move out of here and have our own home."

William got a call from Dr. Baker, and he asked William, "When will you be in London? The beginning of the trial starts September 20th."

"Alright, thanks for the heads up Doc. We are on our way to London now."

"That's great, and gave a safe trip."

"Thank you, good-bye."

"You ready now?"

"Yeah I'm ready." ,chuckled William.

The trip wasn't to bad for the two dogs, a couple stops for William because he was getting sick. The beginning of Fall was so beautiful, the leaves were so extravagant and luscious with colors. Reds, browns, violets, yellows, and oranges. They were the sign of Fall, a beautiful season. They had arrived at their new house. It was a very old house, about 300 years old. The paint was peeling and some of porch had been damaged.

"Well looks like we have some work to do." ,said William. They both laughed. Dane gave William a hug.

"Welcome home Will."

"Welcome home sweetie."

A leaf fell off a tree next to the house and floated on down to Williams nose. They both laughed.

"We are going to love it here." , said Dane with a smile.

The movers had gotten everything inside the house. Dane made sure his fathers stuff was put in the basement. Everything was getting unpacked and organized. Once they were officially moved in then next day Dane had hung up an empty picture frame above the fire place.

"Uhh...what's that Dane?"

"What does it look like?"

"An empty picture frame."

"That is exactly what it is, good boy."

William gave Dane a serious look. "No really, what's it for?"

"It's for a picture of us, once we take it of course."

"Oh...okay, sounds good. I'm gonna go lay down, the car ride made me nauseous."

"Okay you go do that." ,said Dane with a kiss.

William left an Dane went downstairs to the basement. He had wanted to organize his fathers belongings. "Maybe I can find out what that letter meant, see if he killed mom."

He opened a box and he found his fathers trophies along with a few books. He didn't find much else so he checked another box and found a locked box, but had no key. "If I were my dad, where would I hide a key?" He put his paw to his face."Duh!" Dane flipped it over and there was the key taped to the bottom. "Really dad?' ,Dane scoffed. He opened the box and there was a knife, a letter, and whiskey. Dane read the note and dropped everything and ran upstairs. "Will! come here!" ,Dane's voice broke.

"What Dane?"

"I found my moms suicide note."

William gasped, "Oh no, sweetie come here." He hugged Dane tightly. "I'm so sorry."

"I think you should go through this stuff with me."

"Okay I will."

They walked down to the basement, it was empty.

"Uh Dane, what are you talking about, there is nothing here but dust."

Dane couldn't even speak "I....uh...I....I don't understand."

William grabs Dane's shoulder, "It's okay, you're just stressed, we will find the boxes and I'll help organize them with you. You should get some rest."

Dane sighs, "I swear everything was here."

"Don't worry Dane, it's okay."

"Something wrong is going on, and I don't like it."

Dane left to go lay down, William followed. Dane stopped and William asked, "What's wrong?"

"Dads stuff, it's in here, unpacked."

William went in and saw, "Must of been the movers."

"No I told them to put the boxes in the basement, not bring them to our bedroom and unpack everything."

"There are always misunderstandings. We can just re-pack all of this."

Dane sighed, he didn't look to good "Okay." ,he said in a blank tone.

William grabbed Dane's shoulders and rubbed the, "You okay sweetie? Maybe you should lay down."

"I'm fine, I'm go lay on the couch."

"You sure? there is a bed, right here, in front of you."

"I want to go down stairs."

"Okay I'm going to pack up all your father stuff. Is that okay?"

"Sure, go ahead."

Dane went left downstairs. William went to find boxes to pack up Mr. Edward's possessions. He had packed the trophies in one box and moved on to the rest. He stumbled upon a fat envelope with a wax seal, but would feel bad to open it without Dane so he set it off to the side. He finished packing everything and started to bring it all down stairs into the basement. He was taking the last box down, and when he was down there the lights went out.

"Shit! Dane!!!!" , he yelled.

Dane ran to the basement door and opened it. " wha..."

"Thank you." , William interrupted. " just needed the light."

"Uh... okay."

"The light bulb went out, it's old. Mind getting me one?"

"Yeah sure, I'll go get one."

Dane came back with a light bulb and gave it to William.

"Thanks Dane." He installed it and looked for the boxes, and they weren't there.

"The hell? I just moved the boxes down here."

"See! This is what happened to me!" ,yelled Dane.

"Screw this, let's leave, and go get some dinner."

They left the house, got into their truck, and started to drive down the road when a goat stopped them. He was an old goat dressed like a farmer.

"Hey you're the new neighbors on Jefferson right?"

"We sure are!" ,said William with a smile, and grabbed Danes paw.

The goat looked in and gave them a bad look. "You better get the hell out of here you're in for big trouble up at that house. It's the oldest house in this area."

"So, that means?"

"It's a bad omen, that's what it means. Nobody knows the history."

"Well sorry to say but we aren't leaving. My father bought that house, and we plan on keeping it."

"Edward right?"

"Yes I'm an Edward."

"It's been owned by a long line of Edwards even before your father, and each one has died."

"Hey man, Get the hell out of our business my fiancé doesn't need to hear your lies his dad was a good man and he wouldn't give us a house like that. Good-bye to you and go to hell."
